This beautifully run, quaint studio is a gem. I’m so glad to have found it. Please don’t let the unassuming location fool you. You will receive top notch care here. I got a Brazilian sugaring service provided by Lilian. She was gentle, polite, professional and personable. Upon checking out, I was given amazing advice on aftercare, including honest recommendations on products I was interested in. I didn’t feel like I was being oversold or convinced to buy any product that wouldn’t serve me well. I will be recommending this place to everyone, and looking into all of their services. This place DESERVES your business. I won’t be posting pictures of my Brazilian wax, but trust me, they did a good job.

I was extremely pleased with the service. I received a classic facial and Agii did such a wonderful job. She included a neck shoulder massage that was out of this world. I understand she does massages only too! You will not be disappointed!!

An amazing company for women, by women! I’ve been coming to see Lalla and the team since I moved to the area in late 2021. They are professional, fast, considerate, gentle, warm… the list goes on. I even continued my appointments throughout my pregnancy. Now I live in Maryland and make the trip to see Lalla because she and her team are simply the best.

Kay was incredible! Ive never had sugar wax before it is a very different experience but Kay made it a positive one. Of course theres the more tender bits of a Brazilian but towards the second half I was almost falling asleep, for real haha she was also the most thorough Ive ever been to. Ive had good expereinces at other places but found later missed areas.. not with Kay! Shes quick with the wax but takes her time to give you the best service and care possible. Not to mention sweet and makes you feel comfortable right away. The shop is very easy to pass by and I wasnt sure but the reviews were so good and theres a reason for that. Based on my experience you wouldnt regret trying them out. Looking forward to my next appointment. Consistently amazing ❤️

I absolutely love this place! Everyone here is so kind, friendly and knowledgeable! I am VERY prone to ingrown hairs, and a good friend recommended that I do sugar waxing. After doing some research of spas near me, I decided to check this place out due to proximity and ratings. I got my first ever brazilian wax here and the process was well explained and executed! Since then, I was hooked! I just had my second appointment and have nothing but amazing things to say! Khadija is so thorough and efficient and is the nicest person ever! Lalla is amazing! I have been going to her for a sugar bikini wax and each experience is consistent and pleasant. She is extremely kind and takes her time through the waxing experience. The office is clean and COVID protocols are in place. This is definitely the best sugaring experience I have had in the NOVA area.

I have sensitive skin and she worked with me to find the best way to wax regularly without being too harsh. Her prices are reasonable, and a bargain when you consider the level of service. I found this place on groupon a couple years ago and I have been coming here ever since. This has been the best Brazilian wax experience I’ve ever had! I specifically go to Mary or Sue and they both are amazing. They are quick and you come out so smooth. This place has always been clean and neat every time you walk in. I would recommend this place over and over again.

Lalla Skincare/Spa is great! I have mostly been coming here for Brazilian waxes and have had them done with Mary, Lalla, Kay and Clara, and they all been wonderful! All of the ladies are very kind, efficient, and try to keep the pain to a minimum. My only grievance is that parking can be a little tricky, but I understand that the location/building probably allows for less overhead/expenses as a small business. I will continue to be customer!!

I went for a facial last month, and left with a large brown scab on my nose that after falling off has left a permanent scar on my face. Im now having to work with a dermatologist to work on the scar left by the poor treatment. Its almost an inch in length. I have reported this place, and the aesthetician that worked on me. If youre considering coming in for a facial, I would look elsewhere.

I won’t go anywhere else for my sugaring needs!!I’ve been coming to Lalla for Brazilian sugar waxing for several years now, and it has been a joy to watch her business grow! Her kindness, professionalism, cleanliness, and technique are unmatched.Now that she has opened her own studio, she has also added several other great aestheticians to her team. Khadija is absolutely outstanding!!!! I love the warmth and bright feel of the new location, and every time I visit it just gets better and better. There are tons of available services and the team is great, I don’t go anywhere else!!

Lalla is amazing! She is such a sweet, genuine person. She makes the entire waxing process a lot less stressful. Shes very quick too, Im never there more than 20 minutes. This is the only waxing salon I will go to in the DC area. Highly recommended.

One of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had! Lala was so sweet and nurturing and had such a great energy about her that I left feeling amazing. I travel from DC monthly to visit lalaskincare. I was referred by a friend and I’ve been so happy, even following them when they moved locations. I see Maria & she is the best! She does a wonderful job and makes sure I am comfortable at all times. A great establishment run by wonderful people!! I highly recommend them!

Kay was amazing ! She was very professional , kind and made sure my mother and I were comfortable. Usually when I get my eyebrows waxed it hurts but Kay made it painless. If I could give Kay 10 stars I would. I will be recommending her to my friends and family.

This place is the real deal. Last year when the pandemic hit I was in desperate need of a wax and decided to try Lallaskincare by chance because my usual waxing place was closed. It ended up being the best Brazilian and eyebrow waxing that I have ever had in my life. They take their time and their work pays off. One year later and I refuse to go anywhere else. If you want a fast, cheap, and unpersonalized experience, this is not your place. For the quality of service and results you will get from coming here it more than reasonably priced, especially if you get a package deal.My younger sister goes here as well and we couldn’t ask for a better place. I no longer shave and my hair grows back so slowly and much thinner. Also if you want your brows to look SNATCHED try their eyebrow tinting and shaping. Whenever I got my eyebrows done before coming here they would always be just a tad too thin. My brows are now fuller but more feminine and look like I got them done by a celebrity stylist. I get so many compliments and I never break out after a session. Not to mention it is only $16 which is a steal. I haven’t gotten a facial yet here but I plan on getting one soon because I have seen women walk out with their skin glowing. On top of their gold standard of service they have also managed to create a safe and accepting place for women. Thank you Lala and all the amazing people who work here.

So it was my first time to go for waxing and with all the videos I have watched, I expected it to be really painful. So I came to the place, its absolutely beautiful and smells so nice😍😍😍....the staff are all friendly and amazing people to interact with. The process of waxing itself did not hurt as much I thought it would. They are very experienced personnel.I would recommend anyone looking for a place to do waxing to go here.

This was a first time experience for me but Lalla came highly recommended. Although my schedule couldn’t match hers I was seen by Kay who was very sweet and calming! The front desk staff was not so pleasant however, my experience overall deserves the rating!

I was referred here by a friend. This was my first time trying the sugar hair removal technique. Lalla, the owner was extremely friendly and informed me about the entire process. I was extremely comfortable. The staff greeted me with a smile and they were very friendly. Lalla was gentle and knew without me saying when I needed a little break. She talked to me the entire time. Was looking for a sugaring studio that used room temp/slightly warmed sugar paste instead of hot wax or hot sugar applied like wax. Found this a bit far out in VA for me, but 100% worth it for value and price. Had Saida (Sue) and loved my experience. This is a Moroccan owned studio and these ladies have been using sugaring their whole lives. This practice comes from the Middle East, so its very authentic here. Very homey, but clean studio. My Brazilian sugar was quicker than normal for me and Saida was very comfortable to be with. Coconut oil was applied after she was done, and it was cooling and non-irritating! She speaks many languages including Arabic, and I was very pleased to speak in Arabic with her. Tips are in cash only, so plan ahead for that. Will be coming here for my sugaring from now on! Thank you!

Neza is great! The online booking process makes things super easy and convenient. They also have packages that have generous savings. Sugar waxing leaves my skin super soft with zero irritations. I love this place!

Lalla is amazing at what she does. I went to her two years ago but never got a chance to go back and I recently went back and she remembered me. Waxing is awful and she makes the process go so much faster and more efficiently. She is the only person I will ever go to for as long as Im in the DMV area.

I went to see Neza El for a LivingSocial Brazilian wax a few days ago. It was to prepare for my upcoming csection. Since Ive been having contractions early, I knew I needed to get the hair off asap in case I had to deliver early. She was amazing. So patient. It was my first wax down there, Im 38 weeks pregnant and my vagina is super sensitive. I wasnt able to do the whole Brazilian because I was having complications laying on my back for longer than 3 minutes without getting dizzy and feeling like I was going to pass out. Yes, you should check with your doctor if pregnant before getting a wax. I called my doctor afterwards and he said it was most likely because I was cutting off bloodflow to my legs and head with the baby being so big at this point and laying flat on my back. Oops. Now I know. Zena was so freaking patient. She didnt rush me, she ran to get me water like 3 times, she didnt seem annoyed with me having dragging out a 15-20 minute appt to an hour. I ended up getting the area where the csection scar would be done and the sides waxed, plus added my eyebrows and underarms.Oh, she is a perfectionist also. I mean she is going to get every strand of hair. She would have taken longer accommodating me to make everything perfect, but I had a feeling I messed up her scheduling and there were clients waiting. She didnt let on, but when we were done, there was one lady waiting for her.**Note, this place is super clean on the inside and they are completely professional, respectful and compassionate. Even with your cookie out in the air in a bright lit room with crisp white walls, she didnt make me feel uncomfortable. Im for sure going back, I just have to wait to heal and figure out how to manage a newborn.

Lalla and Clara helped me a lot today with bio-slimming and my face. I am extremely grateful to them both. After 1 time of the Bioslimming session I could immediately see the results that I shredded a pound or two and it was so visible and effective. Not to mention my face it was clearer and glowing like never before. 100% I recommend you come here. Lallaskincare IS THE BEST!

I unfortunately didnt catch the name of the aesthetician who left me in tears when I came in to get a Brazilian sugaring today, but wanted to share my experience as a word of warning for anyone whos considering coming here to get a waxing/sugaring done. I came in and everything was as normal - my aesthetician greeted me and walked me to a room in the back. As we stood next to the table, she gestured and pointed towards my shorts and then said, Well?....Ive been waxed many times before and never had my aesthetician NOT leave the room while I get undressed, so I found this very odd. I asked her then, oh are you not going to leave the room while I get undressed?. She replied, No. Were the same. Its fine, go ahead. I felt very uncomfortable, but obliged. She then looked me up and down AFTER I undressed from the waist down, and said oh, but youre so beautiful. I should have walked out then and there.As I got onto the table to receive my wax, she gave me no towel or anything to hold down there for privacy. Again, this is different than any other place Ive ever been. Finally, we started the actual sugaring. While it doesnt hurt as much as wax, it still hurts because - well - youre ripping hair out from the root, which is never a pleasant experience. Every time I flinched she would tell me to stop, as if I could help it. She would just say no, dont do that, just hold the skin, youre making my job harder. I explained to her that I wasnt doing it intentionally, it was a reaction, but no understanding on her end. She then asked if I wanted to switch to waxing instead, which I didnt. I specifically came there to try sugaring, but had already been having such a god-awful experience with her that I just said fine, get it over with and do whatever is easiest. She then applied wax that was WAY too hot and literally hurt just having it applied. I told her this, and thats when she stepped out of the room and got her colleague to finish the job. At that point, between her rude comments, complete unprofessionalism, and disrespect for privacy, I was in total tears.The woman she had step in, Cynthia, was fantastic - very comforting and soothing, especially after everything that happened, and did a fantastic job on the sugaring itself. Shes why I ended up giving a 2-star review instead of 1, because Id undoubtedly see her again but still think the scars of my first experience with the first woman would likely bar me from ever going back to this place again. There just needs to be better quality control on who gets hired here and/or better training to ensure that the bad apples like the first woman I saw dont slip through the cracks, because she simply should not have been seeing customers with her behavior.

I can honestly say the Saida (Sue) is hands down the best Brazilian sugarer I have been to in my life. And I’ve been to several. She’s so gentle and aware of how you feel, I am so glad to have found this place!

Ive gone to Lallas for years. Post-pandemic, one month after reopening, I came on home to Lallas. Theyve created consistent and thoughtful SOPs to keep us clients safe. Very sanitary, everyone has double-layered masks, they spray-disinfected the door handles for you and behind you. No congregating in the meeting room and the lobby. Unfortunately, no hugs either. :( But its for the best for now and Im so happy to get back to Lallas. Come on in everyone! Wash your hands and double mask up yourself too. Were all in this together. Lets keep this minority women-owned business going!
