I visited this place yesterday for a massage. The massage was ok. Nothing above average. My total was $80. When I paid with my debit card and had the option of leaving a tip I chose the amount I wanted to tip and the woman at the cash register was not satisfied with my amount so she erased it and told me to leave a bigger tip. I added some more money to it and she was still not satisfied. We went back and forth like 3 or 4 times before I finally gave up. I did not want to cause a scene. There were other people present with kids. At the end my total was $96. She had no business erasing my tip and entering her own damn amount. She made me feel ashamed for the tip I was leaving and made me tip more. $16 was not even the amount she was requesting. She wanted more but she settled for this when she saw I wasnt going to pay more. A tip is a choice. Not mandatory and there is no set amount. I was tipping 10% which is the norm but she wanted a 30% tip. No. Not for an ok massage. No if that is not the amount I want to tip. I do not recommend for anyone to go there. They will belittle you and expect you to pay a 30% tip.

Walked in for a couples massage, 60 minutes. They were amazing. I felt like butter when I left. Got the deep tissue and they worked out my knots. Will definitely come back!

Ive been here a few times and go often as I work 7 days a week and work out with heavy weights. Ended up getting the lay down massage. And did a very Good job at loosening up my tied in hamstrings. Quads. Hips. And made sure I was competition ready for my heavy lift coming up. Will be back thank you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Horrible service! My husband and I came here and they put sheets over us and tapped our back like we was the floor. They are racist and need to never be visited. We booked an hour and stopped them in 15 mins to leave. The worst place in Texas

Started a chair massage with a woman, 5 minutes in she stopped to service some else. They did not make me aware of the switch, I just said I the pressure hurt and heard a mans voice. He stopped again and proceeded in conversation with his counter part. Not relaxing to hear a convo your entire service. Not going back

I cant get enough of this place. You can pop in and put your face down in a chair, and they will go in on your back with forearms that will take the pain out of anything you have going on. I seriously thought i was going to have to get rotator cuff surgery for 2 years. After the first visit i was pretend serving a volleyball as i walked though the mall. The pain would return and would come back here. I did it maybe 4 times and Ive been the owner of a perfectly good rotator cuff for 2 years now. My wife and daughter and I just went here 3 days ago and got full body massages with a foot massage after. Weve been talking about different parts of the massages the 3 days since. Whether it was the ear rub or the butt rib or whatever. It just comes up in conversation. They are about $1/minute as well. So, reasonable and extremely effective rotator cuff saviors and full body knot removal experts. Plus you can always get in here. Others places are booked up for the weekend. Bit here because they always have at least 6 or 8 people there ready to get busy on your aches and pains. At 1st I thought that they were in the mall was odd, but after going in there and getting fixed, I love how convenient that is. My last 4 tripods to the mall were just for them. Walk in the west mall entrance just south of Barnes and Noble turn left and its right there. In, out, heaven.

I agree with the tip issue. I was harassed that i needed to give more after tipping well. The massage was pretty standard for these type of places, but i was looking for relaxation and the therapist talked the whole time while on the room for our double massage.

The other reviews Ive read, claiming that the staff harass you for a tip (or a BETTER tip) is absolutely true. I went in, fully knowing that I would tip 20%, and after receiving the 55 minute foot reflexology massage, which cost $55, I tipped $11 to which the woman added THATS ALL?? This was incredibly embarrassing for me... I found myself saying... This is all I can afford right now. Even more alarming, I had to type this tip into the key pad... which means that she was watching me and what I did. This information should always be private!!! Side note- this could raise questions as to if this establishment is causing some individuals harm by unknowingly charging clients wrongly. I wont mention the inappropriate things that employees said to me because I want to protect my privacy, and I REFUSE to return here again.

The massage was good it did hurt but I had lots of knots and she asked me multiple times if I was okay. I got a 30 min table massage. The reviews that say they harass you for a tip is true I tried to leave 15% and she literally went back and pressed 20%. More than likely won’t be back for that reason. I don’t want to deal with that every single time. There’s so many other places to get a massage.

I went for a hour massage and the lady bruised my back and was on the table putting her elbows in my back

Always clean. They always do great massages. Courteous staff. Only things that I wish they would have a little light music playing during the massage. Lol... ambience.

China Day Spa is home to the most talented and dedicated personal muscle/body experts I have found. The experience is not necessarily meant to be pleasurable , but to make your life pleasurable in the days that follow. They work their magic on muscles, tendons, and bones that are all too often neglected. I often say that there is no Magic Pill or Silver Bullet in health or diet. Hard work and educated practices are what pay gold, but, China Day Spa is the Silver Bullet and Giant of their speciality.

AMAZING. Exactly what I was looking and more in a spa like this. Did a chair and foot massage. For the chair massage told the guy he could go harder and put more pressure and he did NOT disappoint- the chair and I were almost knocked over. XD. The foot massage came with a quick face massage. And the lady was amazing too and put a lot of attention into my feet and where it needed more work. Both were great massages and not just a touch or rubbing back and forth or avoiding the knots; they went IN. Some people may not enjoy as much pressure but I do and LOVED it. If not just communicate with them, everyone was very friendly and tried to communicate as much as they could and made me as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend !

A man was giving a worst massage ever. He was mostly doing on my shoulder and I just need it a lower back pain massage. So right now I feel in pain. That he use his elbow with pressure so hard. Now he made my back worst and I cant move my arm at all. I am not coming back at all. Plus they force me to tip them. SO ABSOLUTELY NOT! PLUS MY WIFE GAVE HIM A LOOK THAT SHE KNOW HE WAS HURTING ME!! SO THAT MAN CALM TF DOWN!. This man need to get fired..........

Got a quick 12 minute chair massage. It wasnt relaxing as I expected. It was actually quite painful but I went ahead and let her proceed because its probably what I needed since I lift weights and do cardio 5 days a week if not six. There was poking prodding jabbing elbows pulling tugging so more of a deep tissue style which I normally dont like but again I felt like maybe I needed it since I havent had a massage in a very long time. I allowed it seeing how often I lift and have aches and pains or feel knotted up or tight. Interestingly enough when she got to my quads with her elbow it was tickling me its crazy how I was obese for over 20 years lose weight and now Im ticklish in the craziest of places.

This comment is for people like Arturo Martinez...if you cant afford a proper tip then keep your butt home. .inflation is high and these people are providing a great service. Next time go to the movies.

While the table massage and then the foot reflexology was nice. The issue came at time to pay, woman got upset when I would not tip 30%, I was already being charged 80 for the hour. When I was not willing to tip 30 % she got rude, she tired to push the 30 % and I did not let her

Man...that little lady is strong! Great deep tissue massage! I was really tight and she did a great job. Im easily twice her size and she was as strong as anyone Ive had work on me before. The prices and convenience are a huge plus! No appointment need, most of the time. This is by far the longest referral Ive posted but, they deserve some props!

I’ve always come here and left thoroughly relaxed and rejuvenated. I go to the same guy and he keeps getting better with different massage techniques. He knows all the right spots in the neck/shoulders to work on and tries to realign everything. It can get very intense at times but not painful. They charge $1 per minute and it’s never busy.

My spouse and I always come here when we are at parks at Arlington mall. We get the chair massage and always leave satisfied. We decided to do the couples table massage today. My lady who did my massage did an excellent job. My spouse on the other hand told me that the lady who was doing his massage was texting the entire time and was applying little to no pressure. He was upset because he heard the lady who was doing my massage ask me how I was doing and if the pressure was okay. While the lady who did his massage never asked him if the pressure was good or not. My spouse told me not to tip the lady who was doing his massage. When it came time to pay I was only thinking about tipping the lady who did my massage because she did a really good job. The lady checking us out was forcing us to tip more when my spouse told me he didnt want to tip the lady who did his massage. By the time the other employee came and said tip more my spouse was upset because he said hes never been to a place where they force you to tip especially if they didnt do a good job. I had a great experience but my spouse on the other hand stated that he did not. Therefore, I had to give a 3 star rating. Dont think we will be coming back based off of the experience he had.

My boyfriend and I got a couples massage last year. The front desk staff were really nice but we left feeling very disappointed. The masseuse ladies just rubbed their hands on our bodies the entire time. No real technique, or massage, no pressure at all. The ladies were talking the entire time!! They literally held a conversation with each other, during the entire 60min massage. I feel that was extremely unprofessional and not conducive to a relaxing massage experience. And I quote 60min, bc it was not 60min. Anyway, we didnt complain, we paid the $100+ and still tipped them $10 each. I am only now leaving a review, bc yesterday I had a totally opposite experience at a different place, absolutely amazing. They actually worked out all the kinks, were professional, and knew what they were doing. And now I feel completely robbed by China Day Spa. I dont recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go to a professional place, it costs about the same. I dont believe their workers are licensed and if they are, they didnt go to a professional school, they just paid for their hours. My 10 year old niece does a better job for $5.

Whew these mfs will break your back literally(figure of speech said jokingly)!!! Ive never had a massage that hurt this bad in life. The price was good but the masseuse was too rough. At one point I yelled out in pain. Not trying to defile their place but the massages hurt really bad. I thought I would be able to relax and be comforted and that didnt happen. The staff could also be nicer and more welcoming. They run just like a soup kitchen get in and get out thats it! I wouldnt recommend.

The people at China Day Spa have always been very kind, patient, and helpful to me. When I am having trouble with my back, neck, or shoulder my first thought is to go there because in a 30 minute massage they can really help me. My Dad also comes here for knots that require a strong hand. The normal mall chair massage seems to be designed purely for relaxation, but CHS finds the kinks and addresses them, a real massage.Place is professional and clean; even with the doors open it isnt distracting to have the mall right there. Ive never had to wait more then 5 minutes and only waited once. It is extremely convenient for me because I dont have to call and find an appointment to fit my schedule, $30 plus tip works great in my budget, and it is even located close to an entrance.I 100% would recommend this place to anyone who wants or needs a massage, truly.

The staff was very friendly. Everyrhing was clean. Lisa did a wonderful job. She gave extra attention to where I was most sore after a car wreck without me even explaining it to her. Great experience

I was just there with my husband and father in-law. We asked how much for 20 minutes so the lady said $20. So, when my husband went to pay to to the cash register, the lady told my husband to pay$20 plus $5 tip. My husband was surprised and said that the tip amount is supposed to be the customer’s decision. So they started talking in their language and one of them screamed “So, No Tip?!” My husband said “ I want to leave a tip but not $5 “ They talked between them and made us feel uncomfortable. This is why these people are not professional at all.

Saw this place for the first time, tried it out and I loved it so much! I only did the 12 minute massage but after the workout I had the day before it was perfect! Knew exactly where to massage and where my muscles were tight. I will definitely go back for a longer massage and can’t wait to try a foot massage/reflexology!

I LOVE the chair & foot massages. They do an amazing job. Not everybody can do a deep tissue without hitting all your bones and causing pain. My guy here knows when he sees me I came to the mall JUST for the massage

Nice staff...I got a 30 min message and felt really good afterwards. The pressure applied was just right. I recommend this place to those who work during the week and get stressed out. I will be coming here once a week to treat myself to a 30 min message.

They harass you about tipping more. Never coming back. Rude people.

This was absolutely the worst massage I have ever had and I have had tons of massages. Do not visit this spa you will leave with more pain than you came with. Also, they will harass you for a tip. Such a poor quality massage and poor customer service.

Very relaxing. Very professional. They offer a few options for time. 1 hr is the the best for the money. I did 30 min, because of time constraints. After staying in a hotel for a week, my neck and back were tight, giving me a headache. After the massage, I slept very well.

We love going here. They are not pricey like some of the other spas in the area. All they offer are messages; not trying to over sale for lotions, and other products. It is nice to be able to know that when you are there you will get a message.

This place is AWESOME! I love that I dont need to schedule an appointment I can pop in whenever I have a spare 30 minutes and get an amazing neck and shoulder massage for only $30! Seriously it is so worth it

You roam around the parks mall, you found what you are looking for or may be you did not find things you like and you become tired or desperate, baam you see a Chinese massage and want to try them. You feel relaxed for the whole week after a 15 minute massage and you keep on going there because they are so good, resolve all your knots and straighten your muscles, this is morning why happened to me here !

Because China day spa is the first location where my bodys needs were met the moment the massage began. The staff at China day spa are intuitive and attend to ones needs with seriousness and compassion. Worth the money!

Do not get a massage here. They beg for tip plus they give terrible Massage. I left with terrible of pain. They will hurt you.

Very sad! Its a good place but they are abusive with the tip, they demand it in a bad way and if they dont give them what they want they insult you. If you pay with a large bill they dont give you your change, they practically steal it. They talk to each other insulting people. They almost force you into the establishment when you dont want the service.very sad! Before going I read the reviews and prepared myself with the issue of Tips, hahahaAfter paying, the man who gave me the massage behaved well and offered me a glass of water and I left the tip that the machine did not suggest (20%). And everything is fine
