I love coming here! I’ve been getting massages from this place for the past 2 years and haven’t had a single problem or complaint. From the front desk to each masseuse and the overall location, it’s a easy and relaxing experience. I appreciate they have discounts on weekdays and if you pay cash! They also have great options for essential oils too! Definitely recommend trying this place out or one of their locations in VA!

Highly recommend. They’re professional and very friendly. We showed up late around 8:30pm (they close at 9) but they still host us and treat us with kindness and good service.Sport massages are good stretching exercises.

I didnt know how to rate this place. The place looks clean but take into consideration that is very dark inside. Based on my knowledge of what a good massage is, I guess, my massage was a good one. Good, because they take insurance. The lady at the front desk, seemed very pushy and rude. She wouldnt finished you speak when she was already pointing out to the prices and asking cash or credit? If someone else walked in, she would asked to move over even though you were not finished with what you were doing. She was also rude to her staff. My therapist was nice but I was not able to communicate with her at all. What really bothered me was, that at the end, when I was ready to pay; the receptionist passed me a tiny bag for the tip. I am aware that is nice to leave a tip when one receives a service. The receptionist demanded a certain amount which makes me think that the therapists do not have a base salary but commission (tip). Again, nice place but they need to work on having therapists we can communicate with and with a not so rude receptionist.

Our family was vacationing in the DC area and made appointments for four for massages and foot reflexology massages at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The service was exceptional! Everyone was professional and extremely kind. The facility was clean and sanitary and the massages were relaxing and just what we needed at the end of a long day. Thank You!

We found this place from Groupon wince they had good deals.The overall message session was good, the staffs were very nice, the place was clean. First time to do massage with them, we may do it again.

Refresh Therapeutic Massage offers talented massage therapists at a good price. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. I highly recommend Amy, who is really skilled and experienced. She finds the tightness and knots and I walk out feeling better every time!

I’ve been this massage place every week to relax my tense muscles. This place is comfy and quiet and I love it. I usually did the deep tissue massage and it’s amazing. After I finished massage, my body was so refreshing and flexible. I really recommend this place to you guys.

Ive been going off and on for a couple of years, and every time I go I kick myself for not going more often. Part of it is that its not directly on my commute, but the 10-minute diversion is worth it. Very friendly staff with pretty good pricing options. Sometimes I only have time for a shorter massage to wind down from the day, and Id say thats where they excel. Great for calming maintenance for our temple (the body) is how I ultimately see it.

Frank gave me a great massage! I stopped in on a Friday after work and he was able to give me a massage on the spot. I really appreciated his attention to detail and had a better range of motion in my neck and shoulders after the massage.

Amy was excellent - deep tissue massage. This is a place to go if you want in intense healing massage not a spa experience.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced massage in northern VA, I can’t recommend this spot enough! 75 minute deep tissue massage with Lulu was amazing and the folks who work here are lovely. Will be back soon!

Jade (Jenny) is amazing! She was very attentive to my specific needs, and addressed areas that most therapists gloss over. (Like the jaw.) I went in with a headache and came out feeling so much better! Thank you!

Love this place - the quality of massage is excellent and they constantly check in to make sure it is to the guests liking. Also a great place for a last minute massage, seem to leave appts open for the day for people with weird schedules like myself

Really great place! Staff is super nice and the place is very clean. Most importantly, it helped me greatly with my lower back pain that has been bothering me for a while. Every massage therapist that I have experienced was great, especially Linda. She was very professional and good at finding the spot on my body. I immediately felt so much better after my massage!

Always responsive to my aches and pains. When I request they stay away from an area that is sensitive or hurting they do. Always polite and never feel uncomfortable.

I requested a lady massage therapist and was given a man. I had the room for one minute before a man knocked, but walked in at the same time. I was naked so I had to dive for cover. He seemed confused so I can only assume the front desk didn’t communicate. I requested a lady therapist from him so he left.Afterwards my lady therapist Lulu spent 45 minutes on my back. Knowing I only had 15 minutes left I requested my arms and legs get attention. She needed a translator. The translator said “we get to it when we get to it” and then told me she would translate my request. The moment the translator left the massage therapist began on my back again. Lol.So I chose to leave before my session was over.I had to say “no” I’m not ready for you to enter the room 3 times while I was getting dressed to leave.Just a stressful situation over all.The only nice thing to say is the location was great and ambiance was nice.

I come here every few months for a very relaxing and convenient massage. I pay cash or charge so havent had to deal with the Groupon problems that I see here.Very good massage therapists here. I had Linda today and she really worked my shoulders and neck and I feel way better.This is like a deep tissue massage at other massage businesses. The location is clean and private, and the best part of that you can often walk in without an appointment and start your treatment within ten minutes or so. Most every other place in the area is fully booked on weekends.

I booked a quick 30 min foot massage and right after I booked at 10 min shoulder massage ! And then I booked a couples facial/massage for the next day, and then I booked one for next week. To put it simple, GO HERE ! THEY ARE NICE , CONSISTENT, PUNCTUAL , AND CARING! I found my home massage place and i think you would too

This place used to be good. Im not sure what changed, but my last visit was a total waste of money. The lady that did my massage was coughing and sniffling the entire time. She even touched my face after blowing her nose at one point, without washing her hands. The guy massaging my gf kept insisting that she needs hot stones, which she does not like. She eventually caved in, and he proceeded to burn her leg with a hot stone. Dont go here. There are better options.

Honestly, was not impressed with the couples massage we received. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was super nice and accommodating. Just the massage techniques that were used, were quite strange and kind of awkward for the both of us. However, the place was nice and clean.

Came in with a bunch of knots and left feeling really great. The staff was really friendly too, Olivia the owner was really awesome. And the price really cant be beat especially the couples massage deal, made for a great date. It also seemed like they were taking full precautions for covid sanitation. Definitely will be coming back again.

My husband and I came to do a couples massage. I asked for deep tissue my husband asked for swedish. My massage was mediocre at best my husband said were never coming back and it was the worst experience he ever had. The lady asked if he wanted suckie suckie which i did hear but assumed she ment suction cup. He then told me she Proceeded to aak two other times of she could suck him off after he said no. Lifted his head up and said I suck you using her thump up twards her mouth going up and down suggesting oral. Absolutely disgusted! This place should be shut down. If they were so comfortable to aak him that while im across from him i can only imagine how many other men have been Propositioned.

Such a wonderful experience today. We had the distinct pleasure of receiving work form both Linda and Frank today.My feet I deal with diabetic neuropathy and Frank was amazing as had worked in some medical oil into those tough areas and as a result, the circulation increased.Linda worked on my husband and worked out some blood flow issues there too.Altogether we had 1 hour of foot reflexology and 15 minutes of back and neck massages. Next time and yes there will be a next time, we will order to private rooms in the back and take a 1:30 to 2:00 session each. So great and rare find in the area.Thanks Refresh!

Got a couples massage with my partner and we both agreed it was the worst massage experience weve ever gotten (and we dont go to many fancy places). Didnt realize it was at a mall either or we wouldnt have booked. During the massage I got my hair massaged which was deeply uncomfortable especially since my hair was already washed and getting frizzy-- they really shouldve asked. We both were in pain at some points even though we asked for soft & medium pressure and it was extremely hard to communicate with the language barrier. They also massaged over our spines/bony areas and it... hurt. A lot of the times they would run out of lotion or massage over the sheet (which is typically fine if done correctly) which just added friction and was not soothing at all. Made sense that it was like $110 for both of us with a groupon but weve learned our lesson and will pay more for a better experience next time. Definitely sucked that the whole hour we were just waiting for it to be over instead of getting a relaxing experience with my partner. :/

This business has been helping me to manage stress through massage for years. Sometimes I pop in for a quick chair massage and when time permits I’ll schedule an hour long table massage. If you can communicate clearly what you expect they will meet and exceed your needs. Highly recommend. Makes for a great gift to any hardworking individual or someone undergoing stress.

This was the worst experience my friend and I had an the massage place. The massage was amazing, and the two people who did the couples massage for my friend and I were great, however this review is towards the front desk receptionist lady. Immediately when we walked in- she had a smug attitude but we didn’t make it a big deal. When we finished I showed her the Groupon (deal says M-F only) and on the appointment page that I booked I had stated I will be using a Groupon. She refused to take it, and we were going back and forth for 10 mins, she said I should have told her before, it’s not her fault, “I should have known better” Girl. This is our first time coming here, first time using a Groupon, and we came from a 45 min drive because this Groupon was a gift to us, I then asked her to call her manager on the phone and she was upset about having to do that- she called and the manager in 2.5 seconds was like just take it! No problem, no questions asked. The other staff was friendly- but the lady in the front needs proper customer service.

Gave them three stars for all the Groupon limitations they impose on a first time customers. I had a massage with Linda and she was great. Unfortunately I ended up paying out of pocket because apparently you cannot utilize your Groupon on a weekend. It can only be used Monday-Thursday, and still have limitations on how many Groupon customers they take per day.When I called back to book an appointment with my Groupon, I found out that I cannot get a massage by Linda because she’s a masseuse but another lesser experienced staff member. Iunderstand they are trying to discourage people from using the Groupon because of the amount they receive from Groupon themselves but It’s unfair for a first time customer. The point of Groupon is to introduce new customers to your business and then allow them to choose if they want to return— not trick them. The price at their business is comparable to the Groupon price. But one would not know unless they visit or call and ask. Lesson learned.

I booked groupon for reflexology appointment twice here. The first time was wonderful experience and the therapist was great. Unfortunately, the second time I went in to schedule an appointment they wouldnt allow after 5 pm even though I was able to do that the first time. If they changed their policy they did themselves a dis-service, more clients are available after 5 pm during the week so they are losing out on more business.

This is a new store in the Ballston Quarter Mall. The decor and atmosphere are fantastic and really enhance the experience. Since only recently opened I got a great deal on a one-hour massage, and the therapist (Anna) paid particular attention to the trouble spots I indicated. They accept walk-ins and quick chair massages are available if youve got limited time.

Ive learned over my experience, going to mall massage parlors isnt always the most comfortable feeling ever. But youd be a fool to not check this place out! Amazing staff and the energy matched. By far the best massage Ive received in years and i go often due to work related soreness. Will definitely be going back and subscribing for a monthly treatment.

Like many others mentioned here, it’s pretty difficult to make an appointment with Groupon. I have called 3 times but still can’t make an appointment. Every time they said there are spots available until they learned I will use Groupon. The receptionist directly told me they don’t accept Groupon after 5pm even from M - T. But that limitation is not disclosed in Groupon page. If you don’t want to accept Groupon, just don’t sell it, but please don’t trick customers!

Don’t bother buying a Groupon for this place, they wouldn’t see me at my appointment time because I booked a 60 min. and my Groupon was for 55 min. Waste of time combing ballston for parking and to find this place then told to reschedule bc of 5 min difference in booking

I got the Groupon, and it was definitely worth the value! One caveat: I had a language barrier with Sofia and would have requested a few things be done differently if I felt more able to communicate. Im ok with going with the flow, but if youre more particular, you might have a less satisfactory experience.

Used a Groupon, booked online and confirmed over the phone. Only limitation is that you cant use the groupon for 2 days after you purchase and more than one in one booking. However Lulu was amazing! Will be back.

Very VERY rude staff, Ive called 4 times now to make an appointment for a couples massage that I bought a Groupon for. They tell me they have an appointment available until I tell them I have a Groupon. They have gotten extremely rude with me everytime Ive called and cut me off when speaking. If they didnt want to accept groupons they shouldnt of had a coupon on there

They dont know Trigger point therapy. They said they do, but they dont. The lady barely spoke English so I couldnt even explain that what shes doing is not trigger point therapy. I paid full price of massage which was not the one I requested. I will not go back.
