I am so happy I found Ebb & Flow! I have seen Natalie 3 times and have had a wonderful experience each time. She always does a full hour of actual massage, after checking in on what I need that particular day. She is super easy to chat with and gives a phenomenal massage.The space is cozy and welcoming and just feels very comfortable. I love that there is a reading nook which I have taken advantage of post-massage, enjoying a chapter and making some hot tea.

From the entrance to exit this establishment was a remarkable experience. The gentleman at the front desk made us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were well cleaned and had such a relaxing ambiance. The tea (and water) room at the end of our massage was an absolute wonderful surprise!Our couples massage was incredible! The two women worked so well together, communicating and conversing with us at the right times but never too much!! 12/10 would highly recommend!

Super easy online scheduling process. Ample parking. Comfortable lobby and tea room to hang out in after your service. Friendly staff and stellar massage from Laura!Im from out of town and was nervous booking without having any personal recommendations. However scheduling with her ended up being a marvelous decision. She listened to the areas I described being bothersome and intuitively found other areas I hadnt even realized were tight. She made me feel at ease and her techniques were super effective. Strongly recommend!

This is the most incredible massage studio around! The quality of massages, the incredibly kind and professional staff members and the warm, serene ambiance is top notch! I love this place and I recommend buying gift certificates for loved ones there as well. They support local charities and are just a great place to support overall!

My right arm was more than sore, it was almost locked up from over use with repetitive motion. I got a 30 minute chair massage from Natalie who did a fantastic job. It was my first time at Ebb & Flow and Natalie immediately made me feel at ease.

The place itself is really cozy and inviting! They have a tearoom that is a lovely place to take a minute before going back to the world. It’s a dealt cute touch. I was lucky enough to get Sarabeth, and she was fantastic! Extremely personable yet, professional! She had such a warm personality and made me feel comfortable immediately! I will 100% be back. Ive been twice now and received deep tissue massage treatment for some injuries i have received playing sports over the years. I cannot recommend them enough. Tara is the real deal - if youre training and need someone strong and skilled enough to really dig deep into your muscles and help with recovery, Tara is the one to go to! TL;DR: Great atmosphere, great massage, reasonable prices, no sales pitch. I will definitely book here again.For my fellow anxiety sufferers... The booking process can be done entirely online, including payment and tip. Intake forms are emailed and you can fill them out digitally so no touching pens and you can take your time going over the forms. The building is on Haywood near the Patton Ave side but parking is easy and ample, no trouble getting in and out. The staff at the front is friendly, everyone is masked, and they request that you wash your hands when you arrive. The waiting room is comfortable and not stressful. It did smell of essential oil, thieves I believe, but it was not overbearing. If you have smell sensitivities you might consider asking if you can wait in another location. I booked a deep tissue massage with Cedar. She chatted with me about my problem areas and made sure to ask if I didnt want to be touched on any part of my body. The music was not annoying and Cedar was friendly but not overly chatty, she followed my lead as far as conversation is concerned. If traffic noise is an issue for your senses you might consider wearing ear plugs, it is Haywood Ave, traffic sounds cant be avoided. Cedar was very intuitive in my problem areas and checked in to make sure the pressure was ok several times. She directed my breathing and gave occasional subtle reminders by taking deep breaths herself rather than reminding me to breath over and over. Her light touch was just as helpful as her deep pressure, which she certainly did not hold back on when needed. After the massage she thanked me and told me to stay hydrated then directed me to the Tea Room. No sales pitch, no suggesting I book a series or my next appointment (even though I would absolutely benefit from regular massage). The Tea Room was cozy and peaceful and the tea service was clean and had plenty of variety. The exit is well labeled so you dont have to worry about getting confused on your way out. The front desk staff wished me a good day but did not push booking more massages. Overall, it was the best massage experience I have ever had and I will return as often as I can afford the time and money.

We booked 6 people for massage sessions for a bachelorette party. Ebb and Flow worked with our bookings easily. We had some accommodations that needed to be met and the the staff were happy to help. Ebb and Flow has a nice set up, a calming atmosphere, and lovely staff. My particular therapist was Adam and he was great. I had an hour long integrative massage with him, and Id drive another 2 hours back just to get another one. Id highly recommend Adam and Ebb and Flow to anyone!

The lobby was large enough for multiple people to wait at once, even if/when theres a need to be 3-6 feet apart from each other. :) Dont miss their half price chair massages on Fridays...seriously, theres not a better way to make massage a regular part of your life!Kaitlyn, who did my chair massage, was very professional and got straight to business (which I like). She did an excellent job working out some of the knots in my back, and she was pleasant to small talk with before/after. Ill be back next week!

My husband and I went for an hour couples massage. The therapists were courteous and professional. The massage room was clean and comfortable. The people at the check-in area were friendly. After three months of pain and tension along a significant portion of my back from overextending myself at the gym, I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Kaitllyn..... tension gone!She is thorough, attentive, and has an amazing knack for getting right to the points that need work at each moment (at one point during the massage, I was just about to ask her to direct her attention to a particular point and voila - a few seconds later, before I said anything, she went right to it).Excellent massage, highly recommended.(note - i just read through the reviews and wanted to add, I agree with the folks about the relaxing, calming general atmosphere. Theres a wonderful tea room in the back where I stretch before and after the massage - an excellent addition to the entire experience, and everyone Ive met there is quite welcoming and friendly.)

Cedar was the most knowledgeable massage therapist I have been around. Completely in tune with how to manipulate the muscles in my neck and shoulder to eliminate my muscle spasms.I highly recommend her.

My massage therapist, Mead, is easily one of the best therapists I have ever experienced. She listens, intuits, takes direction, and collaborates with you for the perfect treatment. So, make time to extend your appointment an extra 30 minutes or an hour, since it is SO worth it.

As another West Asheville health care provider, I feel fortunate to have Ebb and Flow in my neighborhood. My husband and I went there recently for the first time. I had an excellent massage with Adam, one of the founders of the practice. He definitely has the touch!

Best therapeutic massage! I had no idea how much tension I was actually holding until I had an amazing massage from Lauren. She has been wonderful therapy for several key areas, especially my wrists and hands that I broke years ago but still affects my daily life.

We went to Asheville for my husbands birthday but it was raining nonstop so spur of the moment we decided to try and get a massage - AND THEY DELIVERED! This place is amazing. Ebb and Flow Massage is professional, clean, organized, and gives quality massages. They fit us in last minute and took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for- we didnt feel rushed once. Then after the massage, they have a tea room. All in all, if we go back to Asheville this place will be on our to-do list!

My therapist made me feel extremely comfortable and asked all the right questions before we started. Support the local community and economy and go see my new favourite place to relax!

The deep tissue/therapeutic massage I got from the owner, Adam, was the best Ive ever had since I started getting regular massages more than 30 years ago. I needed some relief while traveling, and wasnt expecting to find such a skilled therapist in Asheville. For 2.5 hours, Adam worked magic on all my knots and old injuries, including fixing my torn rotator cuff (it was just supposed to be a 90 min massage, but Adam was so committed to helping me that he kept going). Dont be fooled by the looks on the outside of their modest building--I have been to high end spas all over the world and this clinic is a real gem. If I lived in the area, Id have a standing massage appointment here every week. Ill definitely come back next time Im in Asheville (in fact, I would come back to Asheville just for the massages and I live overseas!). And, by the way, they have a terrific tea selection.

My boyfriend and I decided to get a couples massage while visiting Asheville. For starters, Ebb & Flow was by far the easiest to get in touch with and their pricing is extremely fair. From one LMT to another...Frankie was outstanding. Her touch was both intuitive and skilled and it’s evident that she is a well practiced LMT. My boyfriend was worked on by Sara Beth, and said she was extremely professional and made his first in-spa experience very comfortable. If you’re in the area, give them a ring. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!
