Hidden gem! Found this place on Groupon and bought the 60 min dermabrasion. Grace examined my skin and recommended an add on to address my skin concerns. Very thorough and efficient; when the mask was setting, she gave me a shoulder, and body massage. Was very relaxing. Highly recommend!

I just love their services. I tried so many spa but I like this one most. I do my eyelashes extension and facial here. I forget to ask her name but for me she is the best one and so friendly. She always take care that I felt comfortable or not. Indeed, I just fall in love with shining health spa and I think from now on it will be my permanent spa 😇❤️ Thank you so much 😍

Sadly, they don’t do lashes well at all. It took them an hour and a half to apply. Woke up the next morning with them falling out already and after a week, i have clusters of them missing. They don’t apply them well at all. This is my second time here and definitely my last.

Had my first facial there with my fiancé last month and we both had an amazing experience! Both women were SO nice and it felt relaxing and our skin was glowing after! Definitely coming back for more!

I came here with some of my friends with a Groupon. To start off they tell you to pay $5 for “tax” purposes but that was not mentioned in the fine print on none of our Groupons. The older lady with the red lipstick that looks like a madame was pushy in me showing her our Groupons. The two girls went in a worker comes out to tell us to be quiet. Fine no problem. When it was our turn I told the lady to be careful with my lashes I just had them done 2 days prior, she said ok ( again the older lady with the red lipstick ) but ignored it when she started my facial was too rough I had to tell her to be gentle & kept touching them got lotion on them but the kicker for me was when I was done she’s there telling me how nice my skin looks mind you I had so much of the product on my lashes I was so pissed. I had my friend ask for some Q tips to clean my lashes. She literally let me sit up with the mask product all over my face hair lashes and neck without say anything or trying to clean me up. I told her please don’t touch me I’ll have my friend clean my lashes for me. There was no calming music the workes were talking so damn loud when we wanted silence. She kept stopping to help others it was annoying. Don’t go there find a place where they listen to you and not rush any services. I heard Suki was good if you got there try her.

Grace did an amazing job on my eyelash extensions and I’m so happy with them! All I did was show her a photo of what I wanted and she recreated it perfectly. She was also very nice and efficient.I also came back for Grace to do microblading on my eyebrows. I was nervous about it because I had it done in the past and didn’t like it but Grace was very accommodating and explained everything to me. We chose the shape and color I wanted. I wanted a natural brow with hairstrokes and a slight powder effect and she achieved this! I was a little indecisive so was really glad she helped me with that and gave her opinion on what would look best on me. I will be back to retouch the color in 4 weeks.Highly recommend you come here and see Grace for lash extensions and microblading!

Excellent spa, Grace and the rest of the staff are very sweet and accommodating. I took my mother and child to get massages for tight muscles. Grace explained everything she would do thoroughly and both said they feel so much better. I will soon book a massage for myself and I highly recommend them for any type of back pain or muscle tightness. Beautiful spa inside and superb customer service! I can’t wait to try out the rest of their services.

Let me start by saying how clean and professional this spa is! and grace did an amazing job with my lashes as well! she did a hybrid volume set on me with 15 mm lashes! i highly recommend anyone who wants to get excellent volume extensions to come here!

Grace is sweet and made me feel comfortable. I thought I was getting 100 lashes but it more like 80. It my thoughts changed when I see you got glue on the back and the front of my brand new shirt. She didn’t realize how that she left glue there. Take a look for yourself to see the black glue uses in the picture. Grace said she pay the price and no tax and no tip. Pay for my shirt or offer me something to want me to come back to this spa. Wtfffff

Grace was amazing!! Very clean environment, I felt very comfortable. She throughly examined my skin, recommended products. She wasn’t pushy with selling products which I loved because other places want you to purchase things. The shoulder massage and facial was amazing. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

I have been coming here for years and love this place! A hidden diamond in Astoria Queens! If you are looking for a great place to relax Shinning Health is a great place to relax! My mom and I stopped by to get a full body massage and we couldn’t have been any more happy with Grace and Coco! They are such lovely ladies and did an amazing job! They are very clean, profesional and their prices are great! So if you are ever in Astoria please make sure to stop by this hidden Gem!

I was in the area looking for a last minute facial and found this spa by chance on google - Grace was able to schedule me only 30 minutes in advance. I thought I wanted microneedling, but after looking at my skin she suggested I would do better with an Oxygen facial due to my current state of dryness and I could come back for microneedling in a few weeks. I listened to her and got the Oxygen facial, and WOW I am blown away. She used a bunch of different serums and advanced tools as well as massaging, steaming, and VERY thorough extractions, all while being so gentle with my face. My skin is glowing today, it is seriously soooo clear and soft. I was also extremely relaxed due to her calm demeanor and the massaging. This facial was the perfect mix of effectiveness and relaxing spa experience.The cherry on top is that I have been suffering from terrible allergies and dry eyes for the past few weeks to the point where my eyes hurt so much and I couldnt stop rubbing them. After this facial it is crazy how much better I feel. The massaging and oxygenation drained my sinuses and lymphs and cleared me up immensely to the point where I feel fine today. I didnt realize this facial would help my allergies before I went, but Im very surprised and happy.

Had my first facial in more than 5 years. I was nervous because I have sensitive skin but the experience was amazing. The environment is clean and I felt so relaxed that I fell asleep. I also had a foot massage which was amazing. My skin looks great!

I had a fantastic facial. I rarely fall asleep during them, but Sunny (sp)? was so gentle and her fingers were featherlike. During the facial, she gave a head massage and it ended with a quick back rub. They do try to upsell with other services but it wasn’t a big deal. The place was clean and quiet.

I got a Groupon for a facial+shoulder massage and it was amazing! Clean place (no frills) and the aestheticians were very attentive and nice. I’ve been to other spas where you were left alone during the steaming and mask process, but here, I had a face/scalp/neck/shoulder/arm/leg massage which was a very pleasant surprise. Not much explaining of the process for any first timers (I’m sure you could ask) but they did tell me my skin type and what treatments they would do. They offered some add-ons but were not pushy at all once I declined. Will definitely be back :)

Coco is one-of-a-kind with massage, using a combination of shiatsu, Swedish and hot stones. She is caring and kind and really works to get out all the kinks and tension points relieved. Try the cupping at the end. A great experience every time!
