The environment inside wasn’t bad but personally the bouncer at the front door groped me and my friends at the door. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and violated. I listened to instruction, took everything out my pocket and the bouncer took his hand and basically touched my private parts. He could’ve just searched in between my jeans and boxer but to reach inside my boxers was too much for me. A very traumatizing experience on that end. Once I got inside it was nice but the front door experience shouldn’t be allowed or tolerated. Rather metal detectors at that point. Makes no sense. I would never go back again and would like for other to listen to this review and protect themselves from being groped. Unprofessional I must say.

The security is amazing I feel safe very thorough .the male searcher is very detailed in his searching and the female guard is pleasant. The person who checks ids don’t play around. Over all good experience

I did my friends birthday here and the reservation process was extremely smooth. We came and our section was already reserved and set up for us. The bottle girls are very attentive and the bottle packages are super fair. I loved the live entertainment!

Great atmosphere. Went for my friends birthday. If youre female, theyd want you to wear heels even though its states casual dress code. Other than that, great place overall. Serves hookah (bring cash - $40 to buy, $30 to refill). Wasnt sure if they had food or not. When it opens its not crowded but after 1230am, it gets packed. Would go again.

First off the lady Sercuity working sat night august 4th was super rude. (I’m a Sercuity guard as well and I’m never that rude ) she also was speaking about customers as we left. Second drinks super expensive. 2 margaritas is 37$. Lastly NO ONE was dancing. The music was not great at all. Barely any Spanish I say about 4? Then dj speaks to much in the mic. It’s super small. All they really have is signs that come out for bottle service and hookah. ..There better clubs out there don’t waste your time like we did. Super disappointed.

I had reserved a section on my birthday. And wasn’t allowed in at first because it wasn’t 12 when i was specifically told to come by 11:30 because i had a banner. They gave me trouble and my party to come in. As soon as i was seated the bottle girls came as soon as i sat down and didn’t hold my sign which i told them to twice.. I was disappointed because it was not cheap for a 1.3k section which they didn’t do what they was told. They gave me the wrong section as well and had to move everything to a different section. Everything was unorganized which is ridiculous for a big club as it is..

The staff is incredible and beautiful along with welcoming. The establishment is well designed futuristic and accommodating for large groups.. You definitely celebrate your next event there.

I am so disappointedLet me start by saying I booked reservations for my husband and I to enjoy a nice night out.We got to the location only to hear security saying $40 for sneakers, something that was not advertised on the website or the flyer or the poster or any IG posting. Then the manager, I guess, thats what he was talking about he just learned of this that same day. This place is a total rip-off. Total waste of time the music wasnt loud enough all you hear is chatter, the liquor glass is small like a Gerber baby glass container, the liquor is over expensive for no reason because the tiny glass is filled with ice more than actual drink. It was supposed to be an international night. I guess the dj didnt do good homework.Its such a scam, first time going and last.

Been to a lot of clubs in astoria these past 5 years and this spot is dope. A mix of Spanish/hip hop music.A bottle came out to almost 4 bills. Try to take advantage of the bottle packages they have. 2 bottles comes out to like 6 bills. So def try to come with a group.This is the only club I know that serves food till 3am. Please try the chicken empanadas if you do order food at past 12am. Those were bomb 🔥.Def coming back with my friends!

I barely almost never leave reviews good or bad but I came here to celeberate a birthday got a section which was small and barely space for us to move around freely without bumping someone in the next section. Anyways music was trash they mainly played spanish music and few hip hop or trending songs.... anyways later leaving my brother got hit and i got pepper sprayed i called 2 weeks ago and was told the manager would contact me and im now getting a response to be told the cameras would show i didnt get pepper sprayed..... but i did get pepper sprayed stop making excuses and hire better security or management . I dont understand. I would recommend yall go elsewhere because they dont care about customer service or only care for there kind.... oh yea and your money make sure you come with lots of it if you do.....

Great atmosphere, great drinks, great music and security was top notch to make sure priority safety was met! Cristian the promoter was very professional and made sure all our wants and needs for the night where met (we made several requests throughout the night and he was available throughout the night)! If you want a night out or a special occasion with friends CODE is the place to be! Ask for Cristian!

This place is absolutely terrible. Hated every moment of it. First by starting off they change cover price every 5 minute & 2 to the racism if you’re not black they treat you differently.

Fun ratchet place to go. Ratchet in a good way. Great for large parties. Idk if I’d go without a table. DJ Camilo was great. Whoever works the lights in this place knows what they’re doing and it’s free before midnight.

I got a table here over the weekend for my birthday. Let me start out by saying this is not the first time I’ve got a section at a club. I planned on doing the 2 bottles and hookah package for $350 before midnight. We got there before 12 and they held us outside for 30 mins just to say we can no longer qualify for the package- mind you the club was still basically empty when we got in. So instead we got charged $500 for two bottles no hookah (after tip was like $670 they charged just for two bottles since hookah was no longer included). Whatever didn’t even argue it. We still had to pay $20 a person to get in and mandatory coat check fee even though people came in with coats later. I’ve never had to pay extra at a club for juice chaser refills and entry fee after you’ve already bought a section.Our bottle girl was Stephanie who was really nice at first. I forgot my credit card so we used our debit cards first which got flagged since we’re not from the area and forgot to tell them we were traveling- literally showed her the money in our accounts. So we put it on my bf’s credit card. She caught an attitude when we were looking over the bill and trying to make sure she gets her tip. We continued to spend money on hookah, juice and even more drinks at the bar. She comes over with the other tab and acted like we wouldn’t even be able to pay the $13 for extra juice. Rude isn’t even the word. Checked on us once after.Almost every single one of us has worked in the service industry so we’re very understanding but the service we got was so unprofessional. Overall there’s way better places to go in the area. All I can say is that the club was clean and the music was good, but the service- 0 stars.

Did my birthday here on a sat night. Booked a specific table through their promoter Cris 2 weeks in advance. Only to show up and that’s not the case. Was given a table i didn’t want and still had to spend a $1500 minimum. This place charged my guests entry when i paid over $1600 tab for table service . The owners wife was pleasant but you can tell she’s a hustler . She didn’t charge me because it was my birthday but to charge my guests when we are paying all that money is very trashy. When code first opened I liked it , now the crowd is ghetto smoking weed inside and it’s a mess: i would not come back here for table service.

Went out for ladies night and this place was such a vibe! It’s a sexy space with a dope DJ line up and great music! Everyone from the door to wait staff was so accommodating! We had a memorable night, got some super cute photos and we will definitely be back!

Not worth it. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We paid for hookah and drinks along w paying for entrance. Waitresses/bottle girls are not accommodating, rude, and overall changed our experience. Drinks were extremely watered down and we were not given the services this place advertises. Would not recommend. Spend your earned money elsewhere.

Firstly I was interested in doing a birthday package and the person setting the reservation up told me to be there at 9pm. They say in Google that they open at 10 pm. When we got there nothing was happening and we asked one of the workers who came out of the club what time they opened… whoever he was rudely said 11pm as if we were not supposed to be asking that. We did not get into the club until 11:30….. Secondly whatever woman was checking bags noticed I had a small knife on my key… she pulls it off my keychain then says I can’t have this, I understood and asked if anyone could hold it for me. She proceeds to say that no one can hold it for me, until I start complaining is when one of the nicer gentleman of that night said to look for him when I leave and he will give it back to me.After this is when we finally get into the club and someone at the front proceeds to say “$30 entry”…. on a ticketed event night where if you purchase a free admission ticket and get there before 12 it would be free.. We had to let her know we had a ticket and if we didn’t we would have been spending another $30 on top of their overpriced drinks. Why was “do you have tickets” not your first question on a ticketed event night ? Mind you there is a dress code of heels only but they only have standing tables unless you have a bottle package which is ridiculous. The drinks in the tiniest little cups with less than a shot of alcohol in a drink were $19 each. This place gave off a horrible first impression from the hospitality down to the service. For a new club I expected a more welcoming approach but I guess that’s not what they care about. I will never come back here and will never recommend any one to come here.

I went with my family on December 30th. We were assaulted outside of this club by codes security staff. The men security was even hitting women in my family. Security did not de-escalate this situation at all. They were antagonizing my family members. even though we had a great night at the end, security ruined our night. Imagine going out with your family and at the end of the night your family are assaulted by security. I was with my mother who is 42 years old and she was punched in the head by a male security guard. I am not the type to ruin a business by reporting the incident with New York State, but this incident was not OK at all. I was going to take legal action but decided not to. A security guard physically pushed me outside of the door when I told him that I was waiting for everyone in my family to leave together. I was embarrassed and things like this should not happen to anyone. Stay away from this place until they give their security guards proper de-escalation training. Any business that hire security guards that are willing to put their hands on older women should not be in business. STAY AWAY

This place is an embarrassment. Dont bother booking a table here, they inflated the prices at the door doesnt matter if you reserve a section with bottle service (they dont care).They made us all pay for coat check, but later let anyone in with their coats.We were promised an area large enough for 15 to sit in a vip section. They put us at a couch with random people, with the smallest table they could buy thats supposed to fit the leaking bucket with bottles, and our one and a half hookah.Yep one of the hookahs broke when it was brought to the table-- no one came by to clean it or offer us another.Doesnt matter if its at the bar or your table, the service is bad (and with gratuity included the bottle girls service was terrible not professional or welcoming, barely checked in on us because if she did shed notice the broken hookah)Waste of money.

Vibe was ok. Overall when I got inside was ok however felt a bit unsafe entering a bit as before I even entered the establishment there was a fight being broken out and I got shoved as I tried to enter the club. I was turned off by the vibes and also my friend had a table with minimum spend 1k+ and I still had to pay cover as a female this is a bit of a turnoff as all the high end clubs in the city don’t charge females cover . All in all understand there is a cover after a certain time but charging females to enter even when we had a table is pretty absurd in my eyes. The mandatory coat check is also absurd.

DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT IF YOU ARE NOT SPANISH ! While the staff was very nice and attempted to make sure I could enjoy my time (great customer service) , the owner of this establishment robbed me blind. I first contacted the owner Matty about reserving a birthday section/s about two weeks before my bday. Matty was nice and replied in an efficient and respectful manner. Now , I like Spanish music (popular ones everyone knows) but I am not a Spanish speaker , music listener etc it’s just not something I’d want to listen to for hours on end . So,when I go out I’d like to listen to a diverse list of music ( reggae , dancehall , bachata ,soca , hip hop and rnb) . He let me know saturdays are international Saturday and assured me that this is exactly what they play. In between that span I made sure to ask him if he’s sure that they’ll play different genres of music because my whole section is diverse and we do not want to buy the section if all we have to hear all night is Spanish music . He told me that I can call him personally if they do that because it’s international and that’s not what they should be playing all night long at all ! I get to my section at nearly 1:30/2am so I can make it in time for when clubs usually play the best music . When I walked in , Spanish music was playing and it didn’t bother me because again it’s international saturdays so I sat and bopped with my 20+ ppl section until an hour passed and I still heard ONLY Spanish music. I became agitated as my group was standing around bored because we do not listen to this type of music (besides 2/3 songs that once again the world should know) . After I decided I was going home , the staff near the door tried to reason with me and I assume they talked to the dj because the dj then played 3 hip hop songs where I thought okay now they’ll start switching it up but NO !. As soon as those 3 songs went off, it was back to the same Spanish music we’ve heard them play for an hour . KEEP IN MIND , I told the owner a multitude of times that in me booking I wanted reassurance that I would be hearing different genres because I didn’t want any mixup or discrepancies on how I spent my money . He put on this facade as if he understood but really just wanted my money . We spent over $2800 to stand there and be bored while the djs catered to who they wanted to cater to obviously . Will never spend money here and as a business owner myself this was a horrible horrible first impression that I’ll make sure all my clients never have to deal with . You never know who’s who at your establishment .A 10/10 for all staff from bouncer to hookah people! They were the only ones to make my day worth anything.Do yourself a favor , if you like Spanish music , Dancehall , r&b , Hiphop , Go to ALCAPULCA Astoria , South beach or Solleto as there is a reason those places stay jam packed with people from All over !

Whoever the DJ was the Saturday night 10/28 was pure trash. Horrible mixes. Played the few same songs over and over. $60 to get in was definitely now worth it because the DJ was garbage. With the right DJ this place would be 5 stars all day.

Guy in charge of entrance thinks he got hired by the White House. Such a ghetto white Ross outfit offending young women.Edit: not sure what slippers youre referring to... the guy didnt let us in because one of my friends had sneakers on, meanwhile, a group of females right before us was allowed in with sneakers and bling flip flops. It wouldnt have been a problem if we were turned away because of a strict dress code but that was obviously not the case because many people were allowed entry with sneakers.

I made reservations for bruch for my sister birthday. I got confirmation for brunch and reminder of event from club astoria. I arrive at location on the date and time to it being closed. No one reached out to inform me that it would be closed. Horrible experience.

Code is in the same place as Central used to be. Central was an awesome place to hang out, one of the best club in nyc for sure, so sad it never reopened after covid. So some time passed and I learned a new place called Code will be opening. I was excited... until I went there for the first time. This place is NOT a night club. Its basically a place you can come with you friends and order a bottle service. There is literally no dance floor. All you have is little tables or side lounges where you can drink your bottles. Different groups sitting at their tables drinking their own bottles, thats what you will see at this place. Might as well have your friends come over your house and drink there then hit a real club. The only good thing I can say is if all you want is some space to hang out only with your friends then this place might do, but in my book thats very boring and of course expensive but thats the whole idea from the owners behind this type of local.

This place has completely ruined Steinway St. The owners clearly have no regards for the neighborhood and safety/well being of it. This is a family neighborhood. They have valet parking which blocks the streets, preventing vehicles from crossing and causing chaos / honking. Drunk people laying all over the place on our streets, and the constant fights outside the club. 0 regard for the residents here, it’s really a shame.EDIT: to the owner who responds to these type of reviews acting like we’re in the wrong- it’s 4:20 am on a SUNDAY and trucks can’t pass through because of your horribly run valet causing chaos and waking up the neighborhood. thanks for all you’re doing to help out the community!2nd edit: am i missing something? not sure where you detected sarcasm in my post but you replied originally saying you’re helping our neighborhood.. i’m failing to see how when all you’ve done is keep us up every night? we all just are please asking to control your valet service. Came in before 12 on a Saturday so i didnt have to pay a cover charge, i told them i was here for a party who reserved a table. The security padded me down, and checked my bag. I forgot to leave my pepper spray on my keys. The women told me Im going to take this from you and youre not getting it back. I understand i couldnt bring it in, but she should of been able to give it back to me. My boyfriend said they padded his down extensively and they were even inspecting his keys.We got a $500 bottle package for 2 bottles. After taxes and tip it was $700. $700 for 2 bottles of casamigos is crazy. We ordered hookah, $40 per hookah. When we order refills on the hookah it was $40... Ive never been to a place that charges the same amount for a new head. I think that was a rip off. Later in the night we got another bottle of casamingos and it ended up being $400 after tip and tax. The music was GREAT, but sadly no bachata or salsa. The club is really nice and a huge space but the prices are insane. My boyfriend got 2 drinks from the bar and it was $37. My friends came here the weekend before and spend $1,200 on a package of like 3 premium bottles. Come here and prepare to spend a good amount. The place was only 1/4 full when we came. I guess since its new and not a lot of people know it exist yet. This will definitely become a go to spot in queens due to the size.

It was a decent spot, not a huge crowd but a decent one. They had performances through the night and even passed out light sticks to everyone so we could party hard it was also aesthetically pleasing for photos

Yo, can you turn off those ridiculous street lights when youre not open? Or possibly angle them down a bit more? When youre open or even an hour after close, I get it for safety reasons.Edit: Ill bump you to three stars cause you have done your part on keeping the lights off when youre closed. I understand that youre running a business, but I hate your clientele.

The club says theyre doing everything to manage parking in a residential area but whatever steps theyre taking are not nearly enough. Every day when the club lets out at 4am you have attendees blasting music, yelling and arguing, revving their engines and honking their horns, indiscriminately urinating everywhere for some reason, and doing drugs around their cars that are parked right in front of nearby houses and I.S. 141. It normally lasts for over an hour and is unbearable.Call me crazy but I also think that the clientele of a club like this can make or break ones experience and it only takes a few bad apples. I wouldnt want to spend my night crammed around a bunch of annoying people. Something tells me that this obnoxiousness and inconsiderateness that these clubgoers are showing our neighborhood probably closely mirrors their behavior inside Code.

All ik is the bouncers are top tier. From the way they move and observe. Most definitely some are military trained or former policemen. Nothing to be worried about out here! Have a great time!!!!

There is no sound proofing, club music is extremely loud. Valet parking is an issue when residents cannot park in spots designated to residents. This is a residential area and your club is showing no consideration to that effect.In response to the owner: While I understand that you are an addition to the neighborhood, it is important to note that previous club did not cause this much havoc. There more than 90+ calls for noise violations. As a resident near the club, I would advise Club Code to invest in proper sound proofing for the outdoor patio, not block street parking from residents for valet and have garbage regulary picked up from the back of the premise which has caused a rodent issue.Additionally, please note this platform is not to tarnish but to help review establishments and you currently deserve the 1-star.Thank you.

There’s a reason there are cops outside EVERY single night this want-to-be Marquee “club” is open. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $2.90 to go into NYC. Top night clubs don’t need to be open all week and charge $50+ for entry for a reason.. but Code does, so think about that.

Fool in the white suit infront thinks this is the White House choosing who he lets in.EDIT: No one was wearing slippers, we all wore sandals. There should be someone going through the line to let people know of the dress code instead of wasting people’s time standing in front for 30 minutes so that your club looks packed.

A commotion happened between men and the bouncer pepper sprayed all the women while we were trying to diffuse the situation! We were only grabbing our people to get them in the car!The owner did nothing! We will never Recommend an establishment like this that do not know how to handle a situation. That bouncer needs to be fired! The way they handled this was disgusting! We are city workers supporting this establishment and NEVER AGAIN!

Invest in sound proofing, you guys have become a nuisance on this residential block. Central never allowed this much sound leakage.Edit: Sound measured in my residence is 60-70+ DB depending how rowdy the DJ you have for the night. Stand outside for once if you don’t understand how illegally loud your club is.

I went to celebrate my best friends birthday, the service was exceptional, the attention was very good, I ordered an order of chicken empanadas and they tasted very good, thank you, I hope to be back very soon.

I liked the place, I was surprised at how spacious it is. Many people outside but I assume that they all had the same desire to enter, I am a man and it is the first time that they search me like this; I felt safe. That person who reviews clearly knows his stuff. I plan to return for my birthday, I recommend this place.
