Hendrixx Ultra Lounge

So my friend sold me on this place because she said it was a nice ambiance and great food. I decided to take her for her birthday, but got a different vibe. The atmosphere was really nice as she stated, and so was the waiter. When our food was brought to us, it was mine only. The steak was luke warm and bland along with the sides. I asked for some condiments to go along with my food. 40 mins later, they were just bringing out my friends food, never brought the condiments I asked for, and so I finished my food before hers got to the table. The waiter was very apologetic and gave my friend a double shot on the house which was much appreciated. I guess we just went on the wrong day.

Came on a Thursday night to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. The server (short with red dreads) was PERFECT. she was so polite and she looked out for us always checked in to see if we needed anything further.I had a mojito and the $6 margarita both were pretty good they were strong. The groupies was the appetizer I chose and they were delicious! Tasted like mini fried philly cheese steaks. Such a fun experience. We arrived around 9 and it was empty. The place didn’t fill up until 10:30-11. It was a vibe.

Food was so good! The Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes were perfect! The lamb chops were cooked perfect but the sauce was a little too sweet for my liking, I would get no sauce next time. Also, the music, vibe, atmosphere, and customer service were great! The drinks were priced higher but more watered down. I will definitely revisit when I’m back in ATL

Visit date: Sunday 7/17/22 around 9:30pm. So we called and made reservations for a party of 6. We get there and the security tells us that the kitchen is closed. We were very confused because it was so early. Then I guess the manager came out and said the kitchen was not closed and she would be accommodate us for dinner. Very weird. But once we got inside, we had pretty good service. Pictured is the teriyaki glazed salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed spinach (10/10), honey-hot wings and fries (7/10, I am appalled at how small wings are in ATL), and then shrimp and grits (8/10). No dessert is offered even though the menu says to ask the server about their delicious desserts. Also a strawberry margarita with sugar rim (10/10). The service was pretty fast although one of my friends received her food about 15 mins after everyone else did. She ordered the lamb chops. They played good music in there, it was pretty empty on a Sunday night. Would I go here again? Probably not, but it’s worth checking out because the food was honestly pretty good. Oh and pay attention to parking!! There are scammers out there making it seem like they work for the parking committee when you really just need to pay the auto-meter.

I went this past Sunday and it was my first time and last time there! The valet parking person was super nice and cool so I expected the same thing inside. The food was very basic…. It had absolutely no type of taste to it not to mention it was cold I just felt chicken and waffles you can’t go wrong. No one seemed to know what was going on but one person who was all over tried to please everyone, and also the bathroom had no paper towels sooooo dry your hands off with tissue it was.

I’ve been coming to Hendrix every Sunday , they have nice Sunday specials, specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Last Sunday there was an event going on that seemed a little shady from the host they were charging people $45 to get in when you don’t have to pay anything at all to vibe out in Hendrix lounge. So basically they scammed the manager and there was a lot going on but overall their food is so good the drinks aren’t expensive at all ! The severs , bartenders and hookah people are great as well I will definitely be coming back here ! Check them out !

The service was slow. Super Slow. Nobody seemed to know exactly what they were doing. My food took forever to come. And it was COLD when I got it. I was supposed to get breakfast potatoes that NEVER came. Even after asked like 4 different people about it. After I was already done with the cold food I was served ( I was starving so I ate it) I was told nothing could be refunded because the potatoes were part of the meal. No kind of replacement was offered. Awful experience. I wont be returning. And I suggest nobody wastes their time here. Its so many other excellent brunch spots in Atlanta.

Nice place and good food. Got the lamb chops but the sauce was too sweet. More like a barbecue. My drink was very good and looked appetizing.

This place is way better than 2.5 stars so Im leaving a review. Staff was friendly and welcoming (security/hostess/server). They showed us around during our first visit (maybe a Saturday night) explaining they were a new establishment, hoping to draw in more clientele.Came back a second time for Sunday brunch and had another good experience. I ordered the omelette with a side of bacon. Serving size was great. Food was good too 🤤. Taking away a star because of wait times and not 420 friendly on Edgewood which deters my guests from dining here.Love the 90s RnB vibe and cigar room though. Plenty of sitting places, including the outdoor lounge/patio area. I just didnt understand the wait time being an hour for food when there are less than 10 items on the menu. Still will come back, all things considered, to see if wait times improve.Sidenote: $40 for parking is not worth it. Just pay the $10 by Fin & Feathers.

Came by myself on a Sunday afternoon. The staff is amazing, food is good, and music is nice as well. If you’re downtown looking for something to do on the weekends I highly recommend coming here. The staff has been so attentive and everything came out in a timely fashion. 10/10 experience.

Great customer service, food looked great, but salty, salty, but seasoned well beyond the salt. The environment is cool, if you vibe with loud bass music, its a vibe for you. Listening to “Trap …. In here was a whole feeling. A spot definitely worth stopping by. And drinks are buff

The ambience amazing, my waitress Christie and Greg the bartender is fantastic. The food is absolutely trash with NO FLAVOR. Wings fried and toss in sauce with no seasoning. Shoestring fries fire. I have never in my life had jerk chicken egg rolls with no seasoning. Just cheese, slaw and unseasoned chicken. Don’t waste your time on food at all. Go for drinks and music. Ask for manager never came she hiding in office! 15% gratuity added to every check and they take half of it from them.

From the dirty dishware to the poor customer service, the experience was a disappointment. We got water with no glasses and cold food with no cutlery. The staff does not appear interested in the job or the customers. Security walks around on the phone. Waitresses and bartenders are gathered behind the bar all while customers are waiting. Taking into account this was a slow day, we also had to deal with a shortage on supplies. Ordered bottomless mimosas but they ran out of orange juice after the 1st glass. Ordered potatoes and instead was given fries…because they were out of potatoes. The actual taste of the food was amazing but not enough to ever bring out group back. Just a disaster experience.

We came from out of town and I came in and ordered at the bar and was charged one price and when I met my party the waitress for our table gave us a cheaper price. When I questioned her about me being charged more she went and asked and was told the drink special was over and she said she was unaware. They honored the price but didnt give us one of our drinks and when we told our waitress she said she would have to charge us full price. Their drinks are watered down and overpriced. I asked for the manager and was advised that she wouldnt come talk to us. We decided to go across the street the ATL. This place lacks organization and customer service. I guess because the gratuity is included the waitress felt as though she could kdismiss us. She only waited on us 1 time and we were there an hour. It was a disappointing experience while we were visiting ATL. Will never go back and I do not recommend. We think they treated us like this because we told them we were from out of town. Go at your own risk.

The vibe was good, ppl were dancing and having a good time.The bartender took a long time to make our drinks, he keep walking away while making them. Nobody was able to tell us who our waitress was and we asked several people. Finally when someone took our order after waiting 45 minutes....it took another 50 minutes to receive 2 orders of chicken wings with fries! We did receive a complimentary drink for our wait. I would give them another try just bc it was Halloween weekend and the place was busy.

Cool spot great vibe good drinks good DJ no cover charge. Only thing u have to park on the street or in the lot for 20 which is not that bad.

I had a great time! The workers were nice. The bottom mimosas were so good ! I’m most definitely coming again!

How y’all got the audacity to serve such dry and flavorless food and not even give free water 🤦🏾‍♂️. If you’re looking for a turn up this spot is for that. If you’re looking to eat a meal you can actually swallow without the risk of someone having to give you the Heimlich maneuver this ain’t the spot.

Hendrix Ultra lounge don’t owe me a thing! Went on a Saturday before new year’s for my mom’s birthday. We got a section with amazing bottle service! Good food , vibe and fun music relative to what Future produces! It was more than fun!

4 of us on a Sunday 1st time here and last .....Mimosa was right away no problem order food and hookah was told hookahs are behind no problem ...30 mins later Bday girl got her food 1st 10mins then I got mines other friend gets her grits....but no other food...20 mins pass by 4th friend still no food and other friend still eating her side of grits with no food. 2 groups that sat down after we did got their hookah before mine.....Finally got my hookahStill no food for 3 or 4th friend.....THEN THE DJ .....his blending skills 🗑 but was playing some nice songs....then had to the nerve to say ...WE GOT GOOD FOOD GOOD DRINKS...TIP YO BARTENDERS.......LLLLIIIEEEESSS FOOD NO DRINKS...OK....waitress I could tell she was frustrated cause it was out of her control...but she still couldve communicated with us or just acknowledged us ..table next to us got drinks and left after 30.mins of waiting as well.

Ive never been in here and have almost no reason to, even though I live in the small apartments next door. They consistently play music at full volume outside from a giant speaker until 3AM when nobody except security is on the patio. The restaurant is consistently empty every time someone in our building looks to check, and music is blaring regardless of what day of the week it is. I was just woken up from an afternoon nap to the sound of my picture frames and windows rattling and my dog barking at the bass coming from INSIDE the restaurant that was shaking our building at 3:20PM, my downstairs neighbors were already outside trying to figure out what was going on when I went to look. The hours on google also say the restaurant is currently closed, but someone picked up when I called and told me the music shaking our wasnt possible because its never happened before. I understand I dont live in the quietest part of town and have adapted to that within reason, but triggering a small earthquake and playing music at full volume outdoors for customers that dont exist until 3am every night makes no sense. Can only imagine the amount of people that would be left with permanent hearing damage if they actually had customers.

On Sunday 5/28 Me and a friend went to Hendrixx around 3:00 for brunch. When we arrived, we were seated. The server was very nice she took our order fast. We asked for a hookah and waited 45min for the hookah girl to come. We ordered food when we first got there. after a hour my friend asked about the food and even spoke with the manager. the manager asked what we had and never came back. a hour go by again by this time its 5pm still no food. they got mad because we were upset. one man told my friend she needs to go to her seat. the other manager the lady/owner had so much to say about the barback tacking my glass from the mimosas i had but couldnt acknowledge that we had been waiting all this time for food. the place wasnt even packed. terrible business. the server was nice though.

Christie is amazing it was my first time coming and she told me all the good food and drinks also I ordered a margarita and my bartender Yolonda aka YoYo made the best margarita y’all pull up

Hat off to the chef, the grits were amazing. 10/10... Manager Esther was very welcoming and actually came over, spoke with us, and asked if we enjoyed our meal. We sat at the bar, and our bartender (cant remember her name, but shes from Seattle) was cool AF. Ill definitely return. The $20 to park, though, was a bit much.

Celebrated my sister’s 40th birthday party there yesterday. Though the atmosphere was nice, the waiting time for the mediocre food wasn’t. We were there at 1pm for the brunch, with no one else in the lounge at the time, the food still took over an hour to get to our table. Once it did get to our table the simple Garden omelette that I ordered was not what was given to me. They brought me a plain cheese omelette. When I told them this wasn’t what I ordered, they brought me out grilled onions and bell peppers to top on the omelette. Since when does an omelette not have the toppings inside rather than the outside? ….And it still wasn’t the Garden omelette I ordered. According to the menu the Garden omelette comes with spinach, mushrooms, etc…none were found on that omelette. By that point I just didn’t want the omelette any longer as 2 hours plus has already went by. Once the manager arrived he was being combative over another omelette that was brought to the table earlier that clearly wasn’t mine because again it had No spinach nor mushrooms on it and was clearly the omelette my sister’s boyfriend ordered. The manager obviously didn’t know how to handle a simple situation as to not charging me for a meal I did not eat and that I clearly wasn’t paying for. A friend of mind intervened, but the damage was already done. Though I wasn’t charged, I will not recommend this to anyone else as they only specialize in the ambience and atmosphere rather than the food and customer service of the restaurant.

My first time being in the restaurant and I ordered lamb, some Brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes.. my brussel sprouts were burned. I spoke with the manager she was rude as hell. Saying she had them earlier and that they arent burnt. I even offered her to try some lol. She kept Rollin her eyes and I kept bringing that to her attention. She needs to work on her people skills. It took everything in me not to take it there. Besides that the waiter was super nice and they played good music and the crowd was everything

Came last night on a Friday. Music good, staff amazing, ambiance cool, music loved just a little too loud. The food I didnt really like any of it. I had honey hot wings 1/10. Its Atlanta the wing capital. I was very confused and the wings were very small. I also had the jerk spring rolls but they really should just be called Philly cheese steak rolls. Didnt taste a bit of jerk. They were ok. My drink I HATED it. Forgot the name of it but it had watermelon in it. Last I had the brownie, ummm its clear they have a pan full of brownies they bought from a store and microwave it by order. The prices are good but I just couldnt get with the food. With celebrity restaurants you expect way more and maybe this is why it was empty but if they could get their food right and it stays consistent. It be a place I frequent but unfortunately I dont see myself going back 😬

My son was celebrating his birthday last night at this establishment and was being treated as if he was not able to pay the bill. Even though they had his gold credit card. It was bordering on profiling as if he was a minority with a group of educated, working minorities celebrating his birthday, at what was assumed to be a good establishments. They wanted them to close out the tab and open a new one. We have been at other establishments where we have had a $2,000 dollar bill and were never treated like this. Based on his treatment, I would not recommend this establishment. I make it a habit not to judge black people prematurely based on the color of their skin. We closed out a 1100 tab, but will never come back.

The music, drinks, hookah, and the crowd were great. Our waitress was a tad bit slow. She continued to blame the bartender and hookah girl for the slow service when it was clearly her. I watched as patrons arriving after us received drinks and hookahs a couple of minutes after they arrived. It even took forever to get a glass of water.... The next visit, I will definitely remember not to sit in this waitress section.

All cap when it comes to this place I was visiting from Ohio we had a party of 8 our server was bomb food good but the problem came in with the “owner “/manger a person in our party never got her food so we asked to speak to a manager which she didn’t want to talk to us after passing the buck on to our server “owner/manger “was so unprofessional rude and didn’t car about her customers

This was my first visit to Atlanta, and I must say that what I experienced at Hendrix Ultra Lounge was extremely disappointing and I will never, ever patronize this place again. I was part of a large group (about 10), and we had an open tab. We were asked to close our tab and start another. I have never had to do this at any other establishment. I felt as though I (and our larger group) was being profiled, as though we would be criminals who would run out on the bill. 100% of my group has graduated college, have very good jobs, and any one of us could have paid the entire tab for the night ourselves. The owner was simply rude and appeared to have a blind spot for how this was being perceived. We closed the tab, and left. Never again.

Where do I start…The owner is very rude and disrespectful he got smart and aggressive with me for no reason. He cursed at me and was extremely rude. All he kept saying was “ idc I’m the owner “. The staff behind the bar was very nice but they clearly were under staffed and not prepared for a large crowd. The hood was good. The servers were nice and as attentive as they could be but once again you can tell they were under staffed.

Food was not the best. Lemon pep wings were bland & the jerk eggrolls didnt have the right flavors. My friend ordered a salad w/ no meat & after 20 min, was still waiting (she cancelled the salad instead of waiting more). Waitress excuse was the food is made to order..... egg rolls came in 10min & wings 15min.... The drinks were good. They gave no silverware or napkins(gotta ask for) and had no to-go boxes. Now I see why there wasnt a wait. 1st & last time.

We arrived around 11pm. Unfortunately, we did not have a great time. We arrived with a party of 6. Sat down outside and hand to clean our own table. About 11:30 we finally ordered, food, drinks, and a hookah. 30 minutes later hookah came and some weren’t satisfied. Kept waiting on our order. People that were seated WAY after us were served drinks and food. Kept trying to contact our server, she wasn’t very accommodating. Around 1am, drinks came in a tiny plastic cup whereas everyone else had regular full glasses. The drinks were absolutely disgusting. 3 girls decided to leave.3 of us stayed and waited for food. Came about 1:30. Really great!!! Which is the only reason i gave a star. Food was delicious. Still took a minute for the check. There was a young lady that came to help. Said she had been there for 2 weeks and she was partially deaf. She was awesome and i wish we had her servicing us! The other young lady could use some work on her attitude, customer service, timing and communication! Place is a vibe yet the service needs to match in order for it to be 5 star! I wouldn’t mind returning for a second chance but I’m sure some of the others would never.

1st time here. And I must say this place impressed. Sada was very professional in her service. Great service contributes to the food. The most impressive was: The Bathrooms... SUPER CLEAN. I hosted an event at this location on March 18, 2023. I have been in the events industry for over 20 years and like all venues I work with I provided the owner with guest count, liquor sponsorship information and a contract detailing the payout agreed upon.Prior to the event the owner was very sporadic with communication and I had to contact their manager multiple times in order to get questions answered/approved. After discussing plans the owner signed and returned the contract on March 9th, 2023. That day and every day until the event I tried to connect my liquor sponsor and the owner. The owner would not return phone calls and texts until two days before the event when we finally heard from the manager. On that day the manager said they would not be able to work with my sponsor and wanted to CANCEL stating that he had not seen enough social media presence. At that point I sent screenshots of ticket sales and social media posts. I explained to the manager that I wished to speak with the owner. He told me that he was dealing with labor laws and was unavailable?? After seeing ticket sales the manager said that the owner would still like to host the event however would not work with the liquor sponsor. I should have canceled at that moment but with TWO DAYS until the event it would have caused too much confusion for guests.As promised I arrived at the venue at the agreed upon time with the agreed upon amount of guests. The venue bartenders and staff were slow and rude to some of my guests. The kitchen was backed up and some of my guests were not served during our event timeframe. When the event was over and they still had not been served the venue refused to refund the guests. I am very understanding of staffing shortages however when I tell you how many guests are attending (even sent screenshots of ticket sales) I expect a venue to be prepared.Besides the choppy communication, slow service, rude staff and abusive owner (he physically pushed my female DJ out of the DJ booth in which after she had to call the police to make a report) the event was successful in the eyes of my guests.I fulfilled my end of the agreement however when it came time for Hendrixx to process their payment for hosting they went GHOST. I have called the owner, manager and the venue multiple times. I have emailed the owner. The manager finally returned my call on March 30th with final event proceeds number. The venue owes me $1436.20 however, 73 DAYS LATER I have still not received my payment. The owner will not return my calls or emails.I would not trust this venue or owner. They will use you then refuse to hold up their end of the commitment.I do not like writing bad reviews however I feel like I have waited long enough for a fair resolution. Event producers and patrons beware.

Me and my friends came here for a good vibe. We had warning signs before entering.. I was shocked that the place was empty, the outside area was horrible and dirty. I ordered The Wicked, i didn’t like it. The manager came over and let me know that it was nothing he could do. I offered to pay to order something else, but didn’t want to pay for something I didn’t like. He told me that if I went and bought a computer and didn’t like it I would still have to pay , actually Best Buy will let me bring it back but ok. We all had to go boxes and 3 of my friends still didn’t have their food . Horrible customer service , I see why it was empty

Whomever came and collected our shots thinking our shots were to be discarded. Once I realized, I notified our waitress and manager. The MANAGER said it was our loss..how?! I wont be back. Tacky as HELL. I see why they dont get business.In response: we did not receive complimentary shots. The shot that was collected from our table was removed from our tab. They brought security over to our table and we explained to him what happened and he walked away. I asked for you guys to pull your camera to see that our shot was collected from the table but it was not done which is fine! We were not and will not pay for a drink that we did not consume. Instead of the manager saying thats their loss she should have provided the complimentary shots that was mentioned below. Thanks!

Had a great experience. Greg was our bartender and he was amazing. I asked for an uncommon drink and he made it happen. Ambiance was nice and the food was good.

Did not have a great experience here. The drinks were not good at all. I was looking forward to the wings but the wings were extremely tiny, cold, and not good. They reminded me of frozen/re-heated wings. Our waiter couldn’t tell us anything about the menu because he claimed it was his first day. When one of the guests in my party tried to exchange her drink because it tasted so bad, we were told that all sales were final. & finally, our bills were brought to us before our food was even brought out. 0 out of 10 experience.

Waited an hour for an appetizer. Would not refund me. Owner needs to learn how to accommodate for their wrongs and learn hospitality. Only reason this is one star is because I can’t do negative 5 starsAlso Silverware was dirty.. No plastic silverware

Highly disappointed. The service was an 2 out of 10. Sis barely wanted to work she was mostly turning up then providing customer service. The hookah was very harsh after 45 mins of waiting on it. My friend and I both agreed the food was very salty and took a while to receive. I ask for napkins twice and even after asking for the check still no napkins was brought over. The security was very rude.

Poor expectation of customer service. I arrived with a party total of 5, valet parked. We checked in; we were seated. A waitress came and took our order, which consisted of house drinks and appetizers (since this was the only thing they were serving). We vibed to the music while sipping on our drinks. The music was excellent! Time pass; the tables that was seated beside us gets their food before we get our food. We question the waitress as to why. She says that they placed their order before us. Where? Outside? Call-in? Okay. Yeah. We wait a little while longer. This turns into a good 1 hour 30 mins + of waiting patiently, just for appetizers! I ask to speak to the manager. My friend goes to find the manager (she’s livid of the poor service we were receiving). Ester, the manager on duty, says she can’t do anything because we had a large order and it took longer (the order was wings/fries-2 & shrimp/fries). That don’t take long at all to prepare. Ester made the situation very hostile by being unprofessional, uninterested, and unwilling to fix her waitress mistake. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone for an upscale restaurant to visit. The service here is terrible, but the security at the front entrance were very helpful.

Took 30 minutes to bring out drinks. We ordered food and after 2 hrs of waiting on the food, we were then told some of the items we ordered were unavailable. The waiter substituted certain food items for what he thought we wanted instead of asking. He was very rude! He didn’t want to take the food items off the check! He also told us he was ready for us to go because we wanted to speak with a manager!!! Overall this was the worst experience ever!!! Never received food and drinks were nasty!!! I would not recommend this establishment!!

Just like the other reviews...... My friend had a party there and they didnt have her reservation initially and had to accommodate her. Wings were small. I didnt order food from the reviews but everyone else said the food was subpar. Ordered mimosas and there was NO bubbly in it. Even the waiter agreed it looked suspect. The manager wouldnt even speak to me with all of the money we spent. And parking sucked. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

We had the pleasure to experience Hendrix on Memorial Day weekend!It was super packed and super busy but JASMINE gave AMAZING SERVICE!! HER SMILE and POSITIVE ENERGY really made an impact and kept us buying shots, cigars, food and drinks for ourselves as well as OTHER TABLES!!! My CREW and I will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!💯

My sister and I came here Saturday night around 945p for the first time. There was no cover at this time I believe they charge at 10p. Walking in you meet with a host and they seat you. The building has a nice vibe. Very chill and welcoming. We waited about 20min for our waiter and about another 20min to recieve our drinks. Our waitress was super sweet none the less. There is a separate waiter for the hookah or was this night was we waited a 1hr for him and about another 20 to recieve the actual hookah. At this point we are just after 11p you could tell a few people were arriving. Just as we were starting our hookah a woman approached with the host Im assuming management. She asked if we were watching the fight I told her no she says ok well if people arrive youll have to give up your seats or pay 20$ a person since yall been here all night and they walked off. This to me was rude because we had basically been waiting for just about 2hrs for our services in total a guest has not enjoyed the night fully untill what they came for is achieved. We did not pick our seats upon arrival it should had been stated this could happen. That was rude to just walk up state that and walk off not knowing we may had been sitting there but we werent in full swing of our experience. I finally found the host and asked if we get moved where would the seat us because we had JUST recieved our hookah he said IF and seats outside on the balcony. Mind you the place wasnt that packed it was a decent crowd but not for the option to be put outside. We ended up keeping our seats. We left after finishing our hookah. There is a 15% auto billed gratitude. If you get a hookah you will have to pay that upfront its has gratitude also. The djs mix up good for young/older crowd but the blending was bad. Id just suggest that seating arrangements be announced to guests upon arrival especially at a seated establishment and a supposed event because we knew nothing about the fight. I wont be returning I expect more if a establishemnt has auto grditude. And I have no problem with tipping for good service on my very own.

If I could give a negative star I would . Went here and waited 2 hours all we had was some drinks the food never came. When we asked the manager ester she stated y’all had more food than the other parties even though they came after us. We only ordered wings those 2 tables had the same exact thing seeing as though the kitchen was partially open. When asked would we receive a discount for the inconvenience she stated NO. We had a totalOf 4 orders and nobody could really give us a valid reason as to why we didn’t get the food.

I went on a Sunday afternoon. Parking is Valet; however, I took my keys with me as I always do. I honestly don’t mind paying, but prefer to park my own car, valet guy didn’t give me an option to self park, but he did allow me to keep my keys. I Took off a star because our food came out warm and not hot, it appeared it had been sitting for a while— not quite sure why the food would have been sitting as it was about 10 people inside including ourselves when we ordered. The water on the tables for the fresh flowers should be changed often, and the cases cleaned, it was disgusting (imagine eating and seeing nasty murky water on the table with half dead flowers). I had the waitress remove the entire vase. I enjoyed the DJ, the food was good—wish it was hot not warm, but The ambiance is nice, the hookah was good. The manager came around and refilled our water pitcher and checked in on us. The waitress was nice. True 4/5 stars, but we will return. Also, y’all need Don Julio Reposada. You can’t claim to be an elite place, catering to the elite socialites and not have Don Julio Reposada— add that ASAP to the bar.

I visited during a bar crawl on St. Patricks so the place was packed. I cant speak for the inside but the padio seating was comfortable. The music was good. The specialty green cocktail unfortunately was nasty. It tasted disgusting.

Friends and I met up to reconnect and enjoy our night. But only to get sub par services, we all received Luke warm to cold food and we all waited up to hour and half if not longer for it and the manager was serving our table the entire time. She first brought us someone else’s drinks and we let her know that it wasn’t our drinks. She had a bad attitude and no customer service skills whatsoever and I normally don’t complain but she wasn’t listening at all. I paid first out of all of my friends and I gave her cash and she brought me back another bill that wasn’t mine and thought I was going to pay for it. I had to remind her that I already paid and I never received my change. And the gratuity was automatically added with my bill. That really disgusted me..How could you forget something that important when you manage an establishment but I won’t be returning And she screwed up all of our orders. And I pray that the service gets better for future patrons.

It was date night we started too late so we didnt have many choices. The spot we were going to eat at was at capacity and was only taking reservations. We ended up here after reading the description in the website as an upscale restaurant for the grown and sexy. It was very loud, the crowd was young, the music was young . They were dancing all around us one guy kicked the chair the whole time we were there. People sitting glasses on the dinner table and one girl even came and sat at our table because her feet was hurting. Had I known it was actually a club that sold food I wouldve tried somewhere else. It probably wouldnt have been an issue if I knew what I was walking into. Our waitress, however was very attentive and took really good care of us. Before we finished our drinks another waitress came up to basically tell us we needed to move because they has just sold the table we were sitting at. Our waitress had only just bring us our ticket about 2 minutes before and said heres ur ticket but there is no rush smh. It just wasnt for me. I wont be going back.

Horrible service by one of the owners. After finding a sticker floating at the bottom of my drink I simply asked to be compensated for the inconvenience she refused & got defensive after I already stated I would pay regardless. I was then removed from the venue because the female owner got in her emotions due to a simple request. As a black man I take pride in supporting our people but not when they act dumb & unprofessional.

We were here to celebrate a birthday on this past Saturday, arrived about 9pm. It was our first time here! It was the perfect vibe, Small crowd, nice sized establishment though and they have patio seating! Shrimp and grits were amazing!!! The DJ did not disappoint! The drinks and hookah were great! Shoutout to our server KIKI who was just super awesome all the way around! Sis did not miss once! They do require a cover charge after 10PM

Service was great and the hookah was better. Our hookah connoisseur, Ja-Nae was very knowledgeable and able to mix our shisha to perfection. The manager, Ms. Esther will ensure that everything is ran smoothly, you will see her not only hosting but walking around making sure everything is in order. The ladies behind the bar, especially Latrice, are super efficient as well! If you’re looking for a vibe, this is the place to be.

We here celebrating our founders day I asked for a hookah an hr ago. I asked the guy what’s up he said you have to wait. I said nobody is it making it the coal are burning can I make it. I even offended to make it in my car cause I have my own stuff he said no. I said it’s been an hr do I get discount he said no. I said can I have my money back he said no. I said so what he said just wait I’ll get to it when I do! Trash!!!! The service here is absolutely awful and we packed this place out!!! The icing on the cake for me is there hookahs $45 and you wait 2hrs then the refill $45 and you have to wait again. I wouldn’t be mad if the hookah was good but it’s a trash as hookah. You can never pay me to ever come back to here

Free parking to start off. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing upon entering. The staff is very friendly. As I sat, I was immediately served. It was a Monday so it was hookah for $10 with a purchase of an entree. Also the Tequila shots are $5! The music is 10 out of 10 and the food energy matched as well. Being vegan, they accommodated me with the veggie meal without shrimp.I would’ve given it 5 stars but I went with the intent to see Open Mic and an hour has passed and it still didn’t start! Visited Hendrixx last night and had a gorgeous time with my husband. Laid back Wednesday on the patio , played the big connect four game while smoking my hookah was on point , drinks were magnificent, I had a delicious lemon drop , and lamb chops was tender and juicy, hubby had the prime rib , my waitress Jasmin was great can’t wait to come back !

I had the pleasure of visiting 1/7/23 with a birthday group of over 20 people. I am not a reviewer but I so enjoyed the vibe starting with the friendly security, the DJ, the sweet waitresses, the good drinks and the awesome food that I wanted to send a shout-out. I had a blast ! This was a great experience . I had the gin and juice w/ the lamb chops ( Mac & Cheese & Mash Potatoes ) the flavor was amazing!! Server was nice and fast with our order . The Hookah was smooth With a beautiful ambiance! Highly recommend!

Had a party here at Hendrixx last Friday night , me and my girls had a wonderful time .I ordered the salmon , Brussel. And mac , it was delicious. smoky old fashion was great! From the time we were greeted at the door , and escorted to our seat staff was friendly, they even showed us the latest tik tok line dances. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!

Went for the first time July 7th for my wife Birthday! Excellent and was very pleased with the service, food and drinks! Mark J and the employees took great care of us. Definitely would recommend this establishment and will be visiting again soon.

The music and atmosphere is nice. But the extreme wait times is asinine. Now been waiting 48 mins and no drinks for my party of 7. Then wait staff continuously walk by asking if we have been helped only to NOT HELP!! Each person has a different story as to why we dont have drinks after sitting this long and still have no drinks!!

I have been here at least 5 times and I have had some ok service, but tonight I was there I had the best service ever the bartender Ashley was the best. She was attentive, pleasant, nice, and definitely knew her drinks and and made them excellent. Her service was also excellent. I tired to order from a guy there with tattoos all over him, his attitude was not good and it took him a while before he even aknowledge me so when Ashley seen my dissatisfaction on my face she quickly came to see if everything was ok and when I said not really she abolished me with me with sorry you have to go through that but is there anything I can do to make your night better . And offered to remake my drink and stated she got me and wanted to make sure I was well taken care of. So I closed my tab with the guy and started my tab with Ashley and she took damn good care of me. Love her personality and customer service. Thank you Ashley I will be back to see her again, I wood suggest anyone who goes to Hendrixx ultra lounge to see Ashley the bartender she is great 😃

I wish I could give them no stars!!! This place needs to be shut down!!! Everyone is unprofessional who works there and have a bad attitude. The food had me so sick after I ate it.I complained to the manager and she did not care one bit. I hope this isn’t named after Future or he is connected to this place in any matter. Hendrixx is the definition of southern hospitality. They take care of you from the moment you walk through the door and make you feel like royalty. Easily my go to spot EVERY TIME I come back to Atlanta hands down. There is no comparison to Hendrixx. Shoutout to all the bar tenders and staff. A1 across the board

Poor customer service. Girl messed up our bills. Forgot two orders that were placed. And when we presented the issue the gentleman had an attitude and the establishment overcharged us. Highly disappointed in this experience and wouldn’t recommend

Went in and we got seated immediately but very slow service. We assumed it was because we were a table full of women because when a table of men sat down they were greeted and orders taken immediately. Our server was very nice but slow. However, they are getting a 1 star because of their parking options. They have a valet lot (they own) and but let their employees steal from customers. I paid $30 for valet and when my keys were returned my lanyard and remote starter were missing. The valet guy said he didnt know what I was talking about (had witnesses confirm my story and saw the keys I handed him), had no policies for missing items and lied saying he owned and operated the lot (public records show the lot is owned by Hendrixxs.) No one in the business was willing to help. Im not sure what kind of operation they have going on but it was a horrible experience and I would never return or park in their lot again.

I came with one other person at 915 PM (9 PM-3 AM is the time for the promo) on a Wednesday for $1 hookah night and $5 Don Julio shots. The only hookah thats $1 is mint flavored. For any other flavors, its $46. The shots were half shots and the ONLY hookah flavors available were white gummy bear and mint. The only redeeming quality was that our waitress was nice and understanding. Save your time and money. The management team seems disorganized.

Absolute worst customer service ever. The food was lumpy and not appetizing. The drinks tasted like gasoline poured in them. The wait time for drinks and food was horrendous and it wasnt crowded. The waitress and staff arguing. We wont be back.

It offers valet parking; as street parking is tight, however, another lot is located nearby.A spacious open umbrella-ed patio greets you...with signage to state no smoking Marijuana. Yet, the palpable aroma of other herbs and spices is undeniable.The music is loud, lively and in sync with todays blend of hip hop and soul. Please note that this was a Sunday afternoon, private event. Nice and safe ambience.The inside is somewhat spacious and contemporary; with modern artsy decorum. Kudos to the cleanliness and multi-stalled ladies room!Now the drinks, I suggest straight bottle shots and brew. I cant comment on the food because I was fasting. Lets lounge!

Arrived at 1:15a and prior to entering, asked security and other staff what time the kitchen closed, was told 2:30a. Ok cool. Was charged $20/person just to get in but we were hungry and wanted to eat so whatever.Sigh inside says wait to be seated however, no one was attending the entry area so we sat ourselves. Waitress comes over and asked if we needed any hookah, we said no thank you, but would like to see the food menu. At this time it was roughly 1:35a and the waitress said the kitchen was closed. Very confused, we informed her that we were told by multiple staff it was open until 2:30a at least. She said they had been closed since 1am.SMH, ended up leaving after she offered half off hookah in place of no food. I even reached out to the business via my platform to reconcile and got no response. So issa no for me. Go anywhere else on edgewood except here

ONE STAR IS ME BEING GENEROUS!!! I had my birthday party at this place and it was the worst experience I have ever had especially for the amount of money I spent. I bought 4 bottles 2 hookahs and was treated with the utmost disrespect. My guest were rushed they told us it was an hour wait on food at 3pm and then came back to inform us after several attempts to find out about the food at 6pm that they “ran out”. This was a horrible way to bring in my 30th birthday and I’m so embarrassed that my guests had to experience this.

My wife and I have went 3 times and we have a good time each time. Prices are random af though lol but we always enjoy going here. The waiter Tone made the night special even on a dead night.

This place just keeps disappointing me. I had a birthday party on Sunday. I rented a table and chairs for my guest to have extra space and room. Fast fwd after the holiday(Monday)… Tuesday I schedule a pick up to get my table and chairs. The business had my table and chairs sitting outside to be rained on and when I called to let them know that I was picking up the chairs a so called manager lied and told me that my items were not there. I had to explain to her that I was outside of the gate looking right at my items. Then she proceeded to say well ok you can come get them. I get to the drop off center and realize one chair is missing so I had to go all the way back to the establishment and asked her again had she seen a white folding chair because one was missing she proceeded to lie again and tell me that they don’t have any of my chairs. The parking attendant intervened and said “yes the chair is right here, I’ll get it for you” and she continued to LIE!!! I am sooooooo upset I hate this place

I used to come to this place almost everyday & spend $100s of MY hard earned dollars! Not bc the food is good, not bc the customer service is great but bc it was black owned and empty just like i like it. But the owners MARK AND SANDRA are the WORST!!!! Looks nice... Im from Atlanta and have had much better experiences. Went on a Saturday night. The parking... forget about it. If you dont get there dumb early be ready to be harassed by a slew of homeless men trying to get you to park in seedy areas to make money off you by saying theyll protect your car and then later break into your ish. They have valet parking, but its small af. Not sure the price, it was packed like a mfer when I tried valet. Inside is nice, dj was good. Food, typical downtown Atlanta prices; didnt have any. Only had shots. They do have hookah. But seriously, there are better establishments with less hassle. Im good on going back...

My friends and I tried to come here last night, and after almost an hour of waiting, we left. We didn’t even get any water that we asked multiple times for. Waitress was rude. Don’t bother coming here. I suggest the CRU lounge, that place is way better.

Visiting from FL and this was my first time at this location and I really had a great time. Staff was friendly, it was safe and fun/pleasant experience. I will definitely return when Im in Atlanta again.

I placed an order on DD, it took quite a while for the restaurant to accept the order. I called the restaurant to ask would I receive it, a woman answer the phone, she says “hello” and before I can get my question out she placed me on hold. Like, she didn’t even identify the establishment that I called. I look back on the app and it shows the order was accepted, so I hang up the call. Then I received a text message saying that the restaurant canceled my order and will be issuing me a refund.I’d like to openly apologize to myself for patronizing a business with a star rating below 4 stars.

Great atmosphere, great food, great music. This is a laid-back spot with indoor/outdoor lounge areas.

It was a great vibe & very diverse! Limited seating & very difficult to get to a bartender if you arent sitting at the bar.

Bottle selection wasnt what I wanted but the club scene and hospitality was 💪🏾❤💪🏾❤💪🏾❤, will be a go to spot next time Im in Atlanta....

Terrible customer service, if you go here bring cash, check your receipt. Charged $175 incorrectly and was blamed for their error in which they never corrected. Disputed with my bank

Nice place but so over rated thankfully there was no cover charge drink prices cost more than a bottle at the liquor store I had a double shot Hennessy and what was supposed to be a liquid marijuana which was so disgusting total was 68.00 I will be tipsy before hand next time

Unfortunately I paid with a cash app card that they charged me almost $400 they charged $237 the first night for three drinks and a meal a piece for me and My friend The second night they kept changing me🤦
