Bartender was great didn’t get her name but she kept a smile at all times. The only down side was some of the music wasn’t really dancing music. It took til the last hour to finally start hearing some to dance to. I would come back.

Bought tickets for our group to get in but was still charged one person. Even after showing the tickets and counting us off one by one. Gets pretty crowded so if being in close proximity to people makes you uncomfortable then this place isn’t for you. The bar staff is pretty quick and attentive, obviously drinks are pricey. One of those places where I’m good if I never go back but it was okay while I was there.

This was the second time I was in Atlanta and went to The Compound and it was on point the Dj played hit after hit all night

I have been there before but it has gotten worse. I went this past weekend and they are ridiculous. First, the line doesnt move fast enough. They want you to pay $60 for VIP, which is fine but why would I do that when the club is empty? Their drinks are watered down and It was my birthday and I still had to pay to get it! After that, I changed my mind on getting a booth with them and went to Blue IVY.

I always enjoy doing an update on my interest sights, always a beautiful decor and how the parking was set up quite better at their mini dome. Waitresses are better towards service and cleanliness is cool. Definitely should have custodians near if they ever do portable restrooms.....and outside security towards both of line interest due to strange walkers. Elegant outlook, look forward to upcoming events.....I let you know the outlook. Music could be better!

Great place to party on a Saturday night. My friend and I had VIP and valet parking, so there was no waiting for us at all. The inside of the venue is really nice with plenty of seating, three bar areas, and adequate amount of dancing space. We truly enjoyed ourselves AND the hookah! I would definitely recommend and return to this establishment!

I went late at like 2:30am on Saturday night I was surprised it was actually really beautiful and the vibe was nice. I came for only 30 minutes. They play typical Atlanta popular music ... you may get a mix in there but it seems a lot of Natives are here. I Definitely would go again. However there is a $20 cover .. It could definitely be cheaper . Especially since it’s not like it’s some type of all star service. But overall I enjoyed myself and it is worth a try for visitors .

Went to compound for my cousins birthday , held the line and it was freezing may I add . Once we got into the nightclub it was packed but tolerable. Once the night progressed it got really hot so I stepped outside to get air in their patio area . Went to go back inside the bouncer proceeded to tell me its 50 dollars to come back In 😳 I told him Ive already paid to get in and showed him my wrist band that didnt matter so I ended up leaving the club . Unbelievably rude ! I will never go back . Sn: whats the point of the patio area then ?

Celebrated my PhD last night in this great place. happy to tell that it was a incredible evening and the DJ. My buddies were so overjoyed. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much

Went there yesterday for a friends birthday. They double charged my card. We was in line for a least an 1 1/2 waiting to get in a empty club. The staff was rude asf. One of the security guards not mad because we was too loud in the line. Like really it’s club. The music was weak they played Bodak Yellow so many times I learned the words to the song. Stevie J was there he was cool the his people was ass whole and they kicked us out of our section for this old ass. The people we met was cool and I glad we didn’t pay to get in because it was horrible. While we was leaving they was trying to charge people 40 to get in a empty club 🤷🏽‍♀️. Definitely won’t be wasting time there anymore. If it was possible to give no stars at all 🤔🤔🤔

I did not like the Compound. I had a VIP table, but it felt like it was the first time theyve ever set up a VIP area. There was nothing separating the crowd from the table so our bottles kept getting knocked over. It was a pretty amateur setup and definitely not worth the money. I dont plan on going back; its not worth the headache.

Place is legit so lame. The hype guy was repetitive and the music was horrible. How can you dance to trap music? I went here hoping to dance all night, but all the songs they played were songs that you rock to. The venue is nice but the crowd they attract and environment is so basic.

I had a great time here. Loved the vibe of the crowd. The concept also amazing. The lines were very long. The did charge my friend more than the price he was given for a VIP table. That I did not like.

You do have a good time in the club but parking is 80-100$ close to the club. Drinks are way overpriced 20$ for coke and Hennessey. 30$ to get in. And the bathroom is disgusting! No soap no tissue tampons on the floor. I wont be coming back.

Dont waste your time RSVPing on Eventbrite. We arrived at 10:30 and stayed in line until 11:55 and the club was still virtually empty inside. They held the line so most people in line would pay full price after 12am. We will never come back.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLUB! They charge way to much and the club is not clean at all. We got a section got charged a good amount of money and the service was awful. There were no lights in the womans restroom so we had to use our phone flashlight. I will NEVER go back!

Well. Didnt even make it in. Charging $40.00 vip to an empty club. $20 regular admission line waited 20 minutes n moved two feet. So we left.. Club empty as all hell still... Went to Vibes instead paid $10.00 entry free parking, seating and got good food n drinks.. Spent $50.00 in club for n drinks instead of parking n an overrated line. Smdh

The venue looks amazing. I, personally, was impressed by the seating and lighting. I attended on 2chains birthday so this may explain the music. They only played one Beyoncé song. Like hello-- how can I show the kids what Im working with if I dont have Beyoncé to shake my ass too. Girl, really.

I traveled from Seattle Washington to come to ATL for the Super Bowl 2019 where do I start. first they sent out an email stating you can get into the venue for free as long as you sign up by a certain time then a couple days before the event they sent a email saying that you have to purchase tickets and the free tickets are not valid anymore which was fined so I went ahead and purchased a ticket. when we arrive they have three different lines one was for $50 for early bird special $100 for general admission and $200 to cut the line. I had to find that out for myself. there was about 200 to 300 people in each line the staff was not helpful at all so you did not know which line to go to when we arrive inside the club it was below zero the air-conditioner was on and you can blow smoke out of your mouth it was warmer outside than inside . when we went to the restroom the hot water did not work to wash your hands it was nothing but cold water working all night we talk to the bartender and they did tell us that it’s gonna be warm when more people start to come that’s why the air-conditioner was on. they did not have any top shelf liquor to purchase unless you bought a table The venue looks good really big online but they had all the general admission People that paid to skip the line and early bird special people all in one little box and outside on the patio area( what if it rained)then what. they advertise Carly B and Meek mills he did not come out till about 230 and Carly did not get there till 3:30 AM club was over at 4:00 AM I Was there when Meek Mills was performing you was not able to see him if you had general admission everyone in the VIP was standing up where it sounds like he was just playing from the DJ in order to see them you have to pay a additional $200 which they did not say anything about that before the actual pricing of the event this was the most terrible trip I ever had I have traveled all around to different places and I have never experienced something like this ever it was a waste of my money a waste of my time and I really did not like Altanta for my first time at all what I experience at that nightclub that night I left home the next day and did not want to stay for Super Bowl to enjoy the rest of the weekend. so unorganized from start to finished. AG Entertainment was terrible Bad experience

Everyone should read this simple review. Spent $300 to see Cardi B & Meek Mills perform on Saturday Superbowl weekend. Once I got there they said I had to spend another $200 for me an a guest to be in VIP to see them. So I never saw either of them, they announced they were there and they never spoke or performed. I feel scammed from all the marketing, scammed that I didnt get what I paid, for an scammed for all my time & money wasted. I will neva attend this club again.

So we came the night Yo gotti was suppose to be there. I heard they hold the line purposely until 12 so no one can get in. Which is true, the security talk and laugh and let people in when they feel like it. There is enough space inside but they hold the line just because for hours. $20.00 coverage charge $40.00 for cut line. The joint closes 3am ish and by 3:10a.m no yo gotti like they advertised online and on all night so everybody starting leaving. Its pretty much a nicely decorated hood club. They are so thirsty for money at any cost they will lie to get people there and up the price. Not upscale at all a bunch of drunk men high & drunk before they even get inside messing up the vibe.

This place has so much potential but they really are so far off.First off, google states they open at 10pm.. they didnt open until 11:30pm.$20 charge no where near worth it.$600 tables... joke.Coming from Miami, this doesnt compete anywhere near a $300 table in Miami.Nobody dances.Even other clubs in GA are waaaaaayy much better.Take your $20 or $600 elsewhere. Firstly, Fake hosts for advertisement, unprofessional staff they were rude and unfriendly in fact the nicest member of staff was the lady in toilets. The event listed was supposed to start 4pm but they made people wait 1h30 in the hot sun and didnt open until almost 6pm. The location is questionable however the food was okay. Too expensive for entry for the type of club the people that have unflavoured dress sense if youre looking for a GHETTO CLUB The compound is where its at!

Giving them 1 star is honestly too generous!! Although the club is nice and the dj was good the staff and security made my experience negative!! The security guards are rude af they was holding the line and then when we get to the front the girl taking the money tells us they dont take eventbrite tickets and we had to pay to get in 🙄 not a great experience

Never thought Id see the day that this club would lose its appeal. I have been going to this club for major events for the past 11 years strong. The last 3xs (most recently BET Hip Hop Award Weekend) the advertised artist DID NOT SHOW UP. The entire back portion of the club was closed off and the club was still not packed. That is saying a lot. It is obvious that Alex is focused on other things and not the Compound. I unfortunately will never go again.

I went to Compound, for a special event and the only reason I would go.It appears regardless of what night it is, they like to hold the line. I gather this because I have friends on the outside saying the line is long, while me on the inside is looking at tons of space to let people in.The place is huge with an outdoor and indoor section which is really cool. They have a bunch of bars all over the place. The bathroom is large so even with it being crowded I got a stall quickly.Parking in the area sucks. They block off adjacent streets and charge people to park on the street. Yea. That. Happens.Its a club, your experience will vary on the night.

DO NOT GET ADVANCED TICKETS!This was the worse experience Ive ever had at Compound! The security was rude and the police didnt make it any better. I felt like no matter what order I adhered to was wrong. They held the line for 2hours then closed it when folks got to the front. Even after telling them that tickets were purchased in advance, didnt make it any better. Take my advice and stay away!

This is an absolutely beautiful venue with great potential. Ive hung out with major celebs here. You never know who you might see. But you are not likely to see who they said on the radio would be there. It is way overhyped.Sadly the hospitality depends on whos hosting the event and if youre on the list. Not on the list? Stay home unless you want to stand in line for an hour, pay extra to get in, get herded like cattle, only to get in and find out the line was hype.The staff is uber rude to the point of being annoyed you are even there and after your night of standing around outside (it is a compound) in the club you may have to walk a mile to your car.

I went to this club twice and the first time I was excited to get out in atlanta for the first time since Ive moved there. The security was unprofessional ,especially the way they pat you down. I had to pay 60 dollars for vip .then when I got inside the club the security told me i paid 60 to cut the line ,not for vip. Wow really smh. You would think that they would have told me that in the beginning. But drinks werent that expensive and not that good either.

Horrible... had been going to this club for awhile now & although the venue is nice, there isnt great communication between management or a sense of having any customer service let alone good customer service. They advertise free until 12 but hold the line for an hour (I get it... its about money & I can respect that) what I cant respect is FALSE ADVERTISING... me & a friend get to the front & were told by a rude female Ive never seen run the line its $50 to get in but I had passes that I presented & she quickly shot them down by saying theyve been used already but she hadnt even scanned them! I challenged her then she switched it up with only females can get in with passes & no where on them could she show us where that was stated. Long story short, I fought it later & got our money back & got ladies in with the passes I had but it was entirely too crowded & just an overall bad experience... you can have a great looking spot but if the ppl runnin it dont care about the overall image or the patrons that are keeping you up & running itll all come crashing down & theyre the same ppl that run the Gold Room

WARNING: Unscrupulous business practices.Technically didnt go inside the venue so I wont give them 1 star. My gripe; Advertised via their page and eventbrite free before 11:30- FALSE.I like hip-hop, open patios and socializing with professional young POC. I thought let me give this place a try- *sighGot in line at 11 and bouncer wouldnt let anyone in. Dumbfounded I asked the girls in line and they clarified- promos are never honored and if rarely, youd have to be in line at 10. I dipped after I realized their shtick. I actually had no reservations calling to a night! From what I observed in line, clientele was everything but Black Excellence. Though its in gentrified midtown atl, demographics looked hella ratchet. Not an upscale venue at all!Id never pay to be in that environment.

Three stars for the lighting and overall look of the place. 3 stars because door lady almost made us pay 20$ each to get in regardless of RSVPing, rude bartenders, and same songs being played 4 times over the course of the night. Weird vibes. The bouncers I talked to were nice tho!

Compound is jumpin. the way its set up is pretty unique and easily the best set up Ive seen for a club. VIP is $20 for girls, $40 for guys. You will ALWAYS want to have that amount on you for VIP, because the regular line will never move. You will stand in that line until 2am. The drinks are limited. They have no real selection of beers. They got like 3 different beers and thats it. but the chicks and the scenery makes up for all of that.

I was visiting Atlanta, Georgia for my cousins birthday (Halloween Weekend) and we came to this club. At first when we first got there, the parking lot was packed and we had to park around the corner and catch an uber to the club lol. We we got the the line it move pretty quickly and we had to pay $30 to get in the club. At first I was extremely upset cause the most Ive ever paid to get into a club is $10 and thats only been a couple of times. But when I went in the haunting decision I made was quickly erased! This club was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Bet club Ive been to in my life (and Im a party girl lol) The venue was huge and packed out lol Young Thug, Toya Wright, Cynthia Bailey AND LisaRaye was in the building. First time ever Ive been star stuck lol. The DJ was AMAZING played all of the BANGERS (latest hits lol excuse my slang) songs kept coming back to back to back. Very great experience I cannot wait to go back during the summer time!

First time here. Met some really cool people. Music was bumping. Met the manager, bought me a round because they didnt have what I wanted. Then he finds me outside and tells me he found a bottle of Jamo for me. I will definitely be back. Plenty of eye candy for everyone.

This was my first time going & the last. Of course me & my sis decided to go out on a big night but for as many people that were there I would expect it to be more order. The security guards are lazy and the hostess that I saw tonight after the club closed was lazy too and I don’t think she had much education at all. Any how earlier tonight a fight broke out in the club & the security guards just let this dude continue to get jumped by a bunch of dudes. Meanwhile I’m right next to it & a few of us girls got knocked over on the floor! My heel got broken & My knee got hurt. Instead of kicking these mfs out that were fighting the guards let them stay which is the dumbest stuff I’ve ever seen in my life. The worst thing is I lost my wallet trying to move away from that brawl & nobody who worked at the club was any help to find it. So I went back when the club closed & tried asked one of the security guards for help. He directed me to this lazy fat ass hostess who told me she couldn’t help because she “didn’t have any shoes on..” so I’m like “ok, well can I go in the club & look to find my wallet?” N she tells me I can’t go in without someone who works there. So I’m asking her who do I ask..she says “ we can’t help u if u don’t tell us what you’re looking for” I swear this lady was slow or something so I was basically walking around at 4am askin people “hey are u a security guard?” Smmfh there’s better clubs in ATL that are safer & with competent people working behind the counter. Please go there instead don’t waste your time or money @ the compound they hold the line & jack the prices up unnecessarily anyways

I would give negative stars if I could! These people are unprofessional and THIEVES. So, my boyfriend and I decided to go out to celebrate my birthday and we choose this place(which we soon regretted). Plus it was my first time going out in ATL since I just moved here. We waited in a long line only for the police officer to turn to my boyfriend and tell him he had to pay $40 instead of $20 to get in because, WAIT FOR IT, he had on khaki shorts instead of jean shorts. We looked at him as if he was CRAZY and asked why? He then says he was out of dress code. You mean to tell me that it is mandatory to wear blue jean shorts to a club as apposed to khaki shorts? That is the dumbest thing I ever heard and I truly believe that they targeted my boyfriend because he looked nicer(Polo, expensive loafers) and decided to up charge him and humiliate him. Who does that? They obviously have no standards for their club! Someone puts in a little bit more effort and decides to dress up to come to your establishment and that is how you treat them? By charging them extra? PATHETIC. We will NOT be back and anyone who has ears and comes in contact with me will hear this story!

Horrible experience. Had to wait in line over an hour for Rick Rosss birthday party was supposed to be free til midnight. Had to pay $30 at the door. Very crowded and everyone including employees were rude. Never saw Ross.

Came out to celebrate Lil Baby album release and lets just say it was worth the $100 cover charge! It was an adventure. It felt as if the entire Atlanta was there. Lil baby has a very strong supportive fan base. Met him on different occasions and hes always the same everytime. The club is a very upscale environment. Security strictly enforced. Not sure if it was because you had ATL rappers in there as well. QUAVO, FUTURE, GUNNA, WALE, A-1 just to name a few that came out.No complaints will be back but most definitely will reserve a section next time.Make sure you take a Uber or Lyft ‼Not sure about Parking but it was crazy.

Great experience everytime. The venue is HUGE. Outside and inside space. Theres 2 different Djs depending on which area youd like to be in. Theres bars everywhere so getting a drink is easy. Security is security but theyre also very nice. The lines are ridiculously long, but for a place like this you should expect nothing less. Its always filled with celebrities on any given night. They are Crooks, The Girl behind the bar told be my Card was declined, I knew it was strange but I just thought my bank blocked it or something, so I gave her cash instead, wake up next day looking at my account and what do you know , yes they charged me for the two drinks ordered..... Hot mess!!! My friends and I have been trying to book a section for my birthday (since we’re coming from outta town) for about two weeks now! This girl answers the phone and is very short and told my gf she was going to send paperwork via email to confirm the section. Needless to say, HOMEGIRL NEVER SENT THE DAMN EMAIL. So I call and say , “What’s the issue? Like if y’all don’t want the money i’ll take it to another club because this is ridiculous. If you can’t multi-task then someone else should be handling VIP SECTIONS!” She got all quiet... 🙄

I am an exhibiting artists with Art Beats + Lyrics which is held at the Compound. Security, Compound staff and Gentleman Jack staff have always been very friendly. It is an indoor and outdoor venue and is very spacious.The lack of parking is a big issue when such a well attended event is held there. Late into the evening guests hoping to attend were still driving around looking for a place to park.

This club is overrated went new years. Brought a advance ticket online still had to paid extra ten dollars. There low budget security directed us to the wrong line. Drinks are nasty and over price. Did not get a chance to see the celebrity who was there that night. Staff unprofessional and not upscale as stated. People had on sneakers and other urbanwear. First and last time going there

Would give it -1 star if possible. 2.13.16. 1st time at the club vip pass had trouble downloading etc. Internet says 10 pm I go up there at 10 pm oh technically we dont open til 10:45 10:46 I walk back up there oh were not open yet I was told 10:45 its 10:46 well we just had a teen party so we will open at 11:15 ish bro I have a Vip pass til 12 are u gonna open up after 12 if so I can go and pay the $20 right now. You would think they would offer champagne by the glass for a special event like NYE, but the only had it by the bottle. Im the only one in my group who drank, I wasnt going to drink a bottle to myself. DJ played a lot of old music

Security is trash. Drinks are trash. Only go when they have a celebrity you like in attendance or else its going to be trash and not worth the money. Many other clubs in Atlanta to attend that get live before 1 AM so dont say I didnt warn ya.

First time going. I been living in Atl for almost 20 years and when I say the club scene has really change, its terrible I usually go to international clubs because ppl there, sometimes dance and guys come up to u like men. But here lol the men are acting like women. It’s overly hood makes me miss the hip hop clubs in buck head. Sneakers and heels and fashion nova is all I see no one is original, but I guess that is the new norm, everybody want to be famous nobody dance just really packed with ppl standing around and the music is tasteless but it’s not their fault I guess, they only playing what’s on the radio

So many things I’d like to say but I’ll focus on my card be illegal charged but it’s okay because I 0 the receipt out and put not water received so my banks on it n when they. Fail to provide a receipt with my signature I’ll be suing

Kid club if your over 25 stay away waist of time paid for the 40 for VIP to skip the line gets you nothing they charge $20 a drink for Hennessey and $50 for terrible hookah and no repack or coals and would not remake my hookah when I told them it was burned

Online says it opens at 10 PM, got here 10:201, is 11:45 and we are still on a line. They Threw away my hand sanitizer! Place was empty, tables start at like &600. LOL. Never again. So disappointed

Nice Venue!!! After reading several reviews I see a lot of the same complaints about the RUDE BARTENDERS we also experienced the same treatment on last night!!! Will never return not spending my money with people that dont have no hospitality!!!

Visiting from out of town. It was a good experience, not upscale. But it was fine. Some ppl were in heels while others were in sneakers. It improved as the night went on.

Had a great time at this club it was t.i birthday bash he brought nelly with him we got in line at 9:40am it was free untill 12 we just even up going vip so if you even going here to get there early or just got vip but overall i highly recommend

Had a good time & thats saying alot because I never really go out. The section we had was pretty nice as well. I wouldnt mind stepping out here again in the future.

Never made it inside saturday June 15th Birthday Bash 2019 long lines, cover was $300 each.

Make up done hair done shoes dress purse etc section $15k bottles $8k but I didn’t get to enjoy myself because it was overwhelming overcrowded Megan thee stallion was there and a couple others but I couldn’t even go to the bathroom meet friends drink or eat or socialize because it was way too crowded and then someone shot off a gun so events just have to be more classy sorry 😐

Ok club. Dont bother with the day parties. Its a large venue with decent djs. They play mostly hip hop tracks. Good to visit once or twice

Went for spelhouse homecoming and it was ok. it wasnt as nice as it was hyped up to be, but it was a nice different atmosphere, being that its an outdoor club.

Only people that complain about this place is the ppl that cant get in. I got VIP service here and I had a great time, as always you get what you pay for in life.

Club Compound i love that club i love it that was the best i ever went to for the first time and i would go back again cause i had that much fun i wanna go back again soon.

Always turnt! Lines be long af even VIP. But Im never disappointed.

Place was lit! Came from out of town and it was some of the most fun I’ve had.

I did not like my experience at the compound. i was disgusted by the way i was patted down. it seemed over priced to me.

Out of the way and always the same. How about changing it up a bit compound? Ive enjoyed a few special events here but other than that its mediocre.

The venue is indoors & outdoors with a smooth vibe. Definitely a hot spot in Atlanta.

Charged us regular price knowing that they were closing soon. Plus, they closed earlier than stated online.

Totally overrated. I felt totally violated by security. Touched me in places that were way inappropriate. I wouldnt go back.

$20 for cover is ridiculous, if I’m gonna pay $20 for cover it’s gonna be to get into a strip club
