The menu listed on Google is not correct. We found this place while walking from the parking garage to our room. Ordered wings and drinks. Staff not very knowledgeable and seemed pretty new. Great potential. The location is set up nice. You can vibe, party, eat, and drink. The Dj on was really good.
Stay away from this place. Very poor ambience. No air conditioning on a hot summer day. They use pedestal fans. Customers were sweating indoor. Coming to food. Very limited spread for veg and non veg dishes. Worst thing. They dont refill on timely basis. U will be looking at empty containers. For desserts there is no small bowls. Ask for it. Dont have a word to explain the pathetic service. Stay stay away.. nop option for 0 stars.
I enjoyed the staff conversation as they were truly engaged. They have great advice on the menu and stated they would make any adjustments, if needed. The chicken tikka masala is top notch! The menu items were sightly more than expected with an average of $15/item. Some items were over the $20 range. Alcohol is not priced on the menu therefore leading you into a $10 lager (Taj Mahal). YIKES! Its not a super fast serve but they cook the food to order so Im ok with that scenario. Enjoy your company. All in all, a tasty dinner for two with drinks will run you in the $60-80 range.
Called ahead to make sure they would be open by the time the wife and I arrive. The guy over phone said “come on in, but the kitchen will close at 9:45pm”. He even suggested that I park inside the garage and for me to bring him the parking ticket and he will give me $10 off my total. When we get there my wife wanted Chicken Tika with Puri and I ordered Daal with Naan. What he brought out to us was Chicken Tika Masala and burned Puri for her and Daal with zero taste and cold naan for me. We both had water for drink. When we got our tab we were charged a whooping $47 and he including a gratitude of $6. I told him I have my parking pass and you told me over the phone that you would give me $10 if I parked inside the garage. He stated no I said I would valid your parking. We stayed there for 35 mins. When we were leaving the garage the gate opened automatically because it was after hours so no need for validation. The guy is a great talker and never came by to check to see how we were doing! AVOID this restaurant at all times. $3.50 for a single cold naan.
The place is huge but the food is not so good. Also there are not much options. One extra star goes for the good music that they play. The annoying thing was that there were no bowls in the lunch buffet therefore which made the bread(naan) and the curry to be placed in the same shallow plate which made eating uncomfortable. The lunch buffet system mainly comprising of cutlery and more food options can be definitely be improved. The food taste needs to be improved too.
Ordered take out from here today. The staff was so nice in helping me find the location when I called multiple times. My food was ready in less than 15 minutes and tasted so fresh. When I went to pick up my food, the environment was clean and open. This is my new favorite Indian restaurant- cant wait to try the buffet.
Every time I visit Atlanta I like to stop by this place. Its got great food and very convenient location by walking if you are near Olympic Centennial Park.I love the staff as they are very friendly and love to make suggestions. I ordered a very spicy menu item and asked for it mild and they stuck to their guns and said basically it wouldnt be that item if it wasnt that spicy. I liked that to be honest. He ended up making it with a just a bit less of the sauce and it still tasted amazing.Another waiter also gave us great recommendations regarding Naan and storing it and eating it later with various sauces. So we left with some tasty items for the evening.
My family came to Atlanta for the Big South volleyball tournament. We love Indian food and found Haveli. Honestly we were skeptical based on the mixed reviews but took the chance. Restaurant was slow when we visited and we had a great experience. All four entrees we had were delicious. Staff was attentive and the chef even came out to speak with us. Truely a great experience. Give it a try. We hope your experience will be as good as ours.
Absolutely the best Indian food Ive ever had. Ive worked in the service industry for several years now and this is my favorite restaurant experience of all my ventures. The staff is very friendly, and the Owner, Raja, always goes out of his way to make sure the customer is having a good time. Both the buffet and dinner service is incredible.Highly recommend, especially as a regular dinner experience.
Hidden gem! We have gone to Haveli twice on trips to Atlanta two years apart. Both experiences were wonderful. The restaurant smells really good and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Never too many people. Great, friendly, and attentive service with excellent food. We had dinner entrees the first time we went, which were unbelievably delicious. We knew on our second trip to Atlanta that we had to eat there again. We did the lunch buffet, which was well priced and had a large variety of very good food. We loved being able to try so many different dishes. Would recommend to everyone to experience this place!
The food here is great, but takes a long time to be prepared if you are in a large group. If you can look past the speed of service, you will enjoy this place, as the north Indian food is great. But, be warned that if there is a large amount of people, your food may take close to an hour to arrive (this occurred to one individual dining with us) unless you are lucky.
Food quality was poor and the atmosphere was bad. One customer was complaining and left without eating. The other had just finished eating and seem very disappointed. The owner (or manager??) seems like a very angry person. Lot of yelling was going around in the back. Roti was very hard, fish curry tasteless and the rice was cold. It did not taste like Indian food. The restaurant was almost empty on Saturday night. That itself tells a lot. I should have read the Google reviews before wasting my time and money.
There is something strange about this place. Judging from the reviews, its been open for quite some time, and yet all of the reviews seem to either think it sucks or its the best thing ever, which is suspicious.Anyway, I went to Haveli on a Thursday evening at around 730 and there wasnt a single table filled in the very large and very nicely decorated dining area. Sure, its a warning sign, but I wanted Indian food. After looking at the menu, its clear that you wont leave without a high bill (basic chicken curry dish for 17$). I thought at that price, the food would be pretty decent. It wasnt. The chicken tasted like it came directly from a can and the curry sauce had a strange taste not quite covered up by the spices, which seemed to be gravy. The rice seemed of low quality and the naan was just OK, but not at these prices. The service was fine and there were plenty of staff on hand, even though there were basically no customers. Like I said, I wonder how this place is still open. Maybe some kind of front......?
The place seemed somewhat shabby, and the waiter almost commanded us to order dishes we did not want to eat. He kindly spiced up my food that was very mild, though. The garlic naan was too sweet for us, but our European taste may be different than the general American.
I had the lunch buffet on a Tuesday. I like being able so sample things I wouldnt normally order. There was a good selection of things to try. The chicken curry and lamb curry wee both very good! Service was excellent. Price for the buffet was very reasonable.
Granted it was during Dragon Con, I would not recommend this establishment. Certain members of the staff were not professional or courteous to members of my party. The table was set with dirty glasses and silverware that was not cleared away promptly. One staff member spilt water on the possessions of one of my colleagues. The same individual also slammed a glass down after filling it with water. We never received silverware or napkins so when the food arrived, we ate with the serving spoons. The food took over 45 minutes to reach our table as our appetizers came out with our main dishes. The food itself was fine. I doubt I would return to eat here.
My experience overall was very unsatisfactory. Even though the waiters were very friendly and patient, the food did not taste like authentic Indian. I had a hot dish, but all they used to make it more hot was throwing in a bunch of peppers, not the correct way of flavoring and spicing up a dish. My friends chicken was dry, and the korma did not have much taste to it.
Likely the worst Indian food I’ve had. Wait staff was friendly, but the food was both stale and over priced-twice as much as it should cost for comparable food. And they automatically add a tip to all meals regardless of how large the party is, which is absurd. Stay away!!!
Be aware, the restaurant charges a gratuity within the Bill and then when they get you a final bill to sign it says No Tips added i.e. basically mandating a gratuity/tip at first of 20% and top of it stating that there is no Tip added. I thought this as very unprofessional. The food was good and the waiters were very welcoming. The quantity was way to less for even 2 ppl especially the curries. If they stop the idea of double tipping, overall the restaurant is a nice one.
Phenomenal food. In general, Indian food is my favorite so wherever I travel I seek out an Indian restaurant to try. Having been to 50+ Indian restaurants in many countries, I can honestly say that the food at Haveli is exceptional. I went for the lunch buffet and was delighted to see exquisite fish curry (with fresh curry leaves), sublimely spiced chicken curry, as well as goat curry, tandoori chicken, and many other selections. Little details like a selection of real Indian pickles and chutneys set this already top-notch food apart. It may not be the swankiest place in town, but the food is something I will never forget. A++.
Good food, a little spicy though. Service can certainly get more speedy. Portion size are average but the server made sure we had everything we needed. This place is recommended if you are looking for Indian restaurant in this area as it is better than others here.
This was a great dining experience. My family had samosas for appetizers which were excellent as well as the sauces that were served with them. We got navaratan korma, chicken korma, and chicken jalfrezi. Every one of these dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a very good conversation with one waiter about the different foods that were served there. We will be returning to this restaurant during our next trip to Atlanta.
I must first start that saying I love very spicy food. My dish was definitely not as hot as Id asked. The hottest you can make it was either ignored or not well taken. The one waiter was the only one doing anything until we were about to leave. The tables next to us had patrons gone for over 30+ minutes and their mess had yet to be cleaned up. I wouldnt recommend this place because of the horribly slow service and high prices to portion of food. It doesnt deserve its Zagat 13 rating. I would suggest a 10. Poor.
No matter what anyone has to say about this place, I love it! When you have love for food, you accept everything that comes with it! Not all tastes and spices are for everyone. Im a person who loves food from all countries, and if there is a dish that I do not like to much, I do not bash it! I just try something else. So far everything that I have had at Havelis, has been delicious! Haveli, I just want to thank you for your great food and service! I will continue to be a loyal customer! Keep up the great work!!
This restaurant is a shame on Indian cuisine. We went at lunch time it was all empty and for a good reason: their food is bland and stale. Theres just 3-4 curries in the buffet and none tastes good. The owner even offered us to pay in cash so he can avoid paying taxes. You will not get your receipt if you take the offer of paying in cash for $1 discount.
Friendly and fast service. I ordered take out at the restaurant. The owner was very nice. He offered me a complimentary drink while I waited on my order. My delicious palak paneer, naan, rice and appetizers were ready in less than 10 minutes. I enjoyed every bite. Prices were very reasonable and the food wasn’t too spicy.
I’ll preface my review by stating that I adore Indian food, go to Indian restaurants a lot for delicious vegetarian options, and regularly cook Indian food at home.Decided to go to Haveli yesterday during Dragon Con around 5:45 for dinner with one other person. It’s conveniently located beside one of the Americasmart buildings. We should have read previous negative reviews, because they are all correct. We were seated promptly as the restaurant wasn’t full, and given water and drinks pretty quickly (within 10 minutes). We ordered appetizers as well as main entrees from the vegetarian menu. I should have been clued in when I noticed other tables around us sort of looking around with panicked expressions, because no one around us was receiving any food. It seems that Haveli uses a communal style serving operation where you don’t really have one waiter, but rather a group of waiters, and from my experience this seems to be one of the MAJOR issues with this establishment. Over the course of the 1.5 hours I spent here (mostly waiting for food), the waiters were constantly bickering and hollering at each other, not to mention the hollering going on in the back. You could tell that a lot of times when food came out, they didn’t know which table it was supposed to go to until someone screamed it out. So I’m assuming that because you have 1-4 different people ‘checking on you’, they don’t know what’s been ordered or if The order was even put in. So we waited over 30 minutes for our appetizers, one of which was forgotten until we mentioned it. The samosas were okay, but very oily and the onion pakoras were still fairly raw inside.During the next 30 minute wait for our entrees, I witnessed not 1, but 4 tables get up to leave because they just hadn’t been served anything. The table of guys beside us didn’t have food the entire time we were there and they only arrived about 15 minutes after we did.So our entrees come, and one is extremely burnt tasting. There were burned bits of food in the sauce for the paneer and we just couldn’t eat it. The korma was very watery; the sauce was almost like soup, and a not nice looking shade of grayish pink (unlike any korma I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many). The rice was just plain with no aromatics added and the naan was just okay. I do respect that dishes vary from region to region in India, but there was genuinely no spice to the dish at all. Indian food is known for being complex in flavor and spice, this all tasted very.. bland and watered down, or even dare I say re-heated. So, the burned dish was inedible and we had to send it back. They took it and offered us something else. (This is why I’m giving the second star, because they were very prompt in getting us another dish)We got paneer makhani for the replacement, which is one of our favorites and it was okay ish but again with an extremely watery and bland sauce. Since we waited so long for the food we asked for the check soon after getting the replacement dish, to hopefully save some time. The head waiter came to the table after I asked and said ‘no no you will finish before I give you the check’. So after another 15 minutes, we just went up to the counter to pay so we could leave. They add a 15% service charge automatically to every bill regardless of party size FYI.I genuinely hope that my review can save others a poor experience and hopefully will help this restaurant realize that they have some SERIOUS work to do. It’s unfortunate that it’s in such a good location for people going to conventions and americasmart, because most likely you are from out of town, in a hurry, and would never know what to expect. A couple of the waiters here were very nice in general and refilled waters very promptly, so there’s the bright spot in the whole thing.
Just absolutely horrible. How do you run a resturant without servers???? And lack of help anywhere else.. And the food is portion and taste doesnt describe my dissatisfaction. Honestly i am not sure how someone has the audacity to charge a 15% gratuity for the 45-50 min wait on food, with no appetizer, and with the bland taste of food. This resturant is a absoulte disgrace to indian food. I really hope the owner reconsiders a makeover for the resturant with the reputation that it has gotten.
The food is the best around. Find quality and authentic Indian food while living in the south can be a difficult challenge. Haveli rises to the occasion. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is the best Ive ever had. Once you have it, no other restaurants can compare. And this is not even touching on how extremely friendly and professional the staff is. They leave no question in my mind they want to provide the best service possible. If you want quality Indian food and great service, I absolutely recommend Haveli Indian Cuisine.
This is a terrible restaurant stuck in a time warp! The decor and ambiance are outdated (probably from the 1980s) and the service and food are just as hideous. Restaurants back in India stand out as more progressive with awesome tasting food, service, and ambiance. My American friends please avoid dining here as this restaurant is not a reflection of true Indian hospitality or its diverse cuisine. If anything, this restaurant is an embarrassment to everything Indian and should be shut down!
Awesome experience with proper Indian taste. Lunch buffet is excellent. Not expansive at all. Those who love or want to try Indian dishes should visit this place. Good ambience, Charming peoples, Large space and Soothing Indian classical music. Really loved this place.
We spent 200$ and the food so disgusting. Chicken was dry. Bread (naan) was burnt, dry, and tasteless. The server said that their pulao was the same thing as their biryani which is not the case. This was honestly not Indian food more like Bengali food. We went to celebrate someones birthday and usually when we go to any restaurant they take the cake to the back to their refrigerator but this is the first time that they just told me to leave it on table. So naturally the cake was partially melted. The waiter basically told us what to order and what not to. He seemed very arrogant and controlling. it was honestly worst then the cheap Indian restaurants that are on every corner and it was 3 times the amount. I dont mind paying more for food as long as the service and food quality match. Please do not go to this place its a waste of time and money.
I have absolutely no idea how this establishment is in business. Maybe lack of competition or political hegemony? As soon as you enter youre greeted with a grown by an ancient golem, and a musty smell. Restrooms doesnt have soap so unless cooks and waiters are angels and no need to use restrooms probably they dont have to wash hands. We have had wonderful Indian food elsewhere in Atlanta, I suggest you try Yellow Chilly of Georgia or Even global mall area. Dont waste your time and money here.
Deserted establishment for a Friday night should have tipped us off. The food was overpriced, the portions too small for that price, and while I would pay for ambiance, this place had none. We ordered dum aloo, tolerable, and matter paneer. The peas, I think, were frozen and undercooked. The naan, ok. Taste, not so much, i.e. Ive had better. They offered a taste of desert, they said and then billed us for it. At other places that talked like this, it was a taste on the house. Shame on us for getting fooled. They added a gratuity for three people, which I have not heard elsewhere.I cant rate lower stars, I will not go there again, not would I recommend that anyone go there either.
Great place! Friendly staff. Downtown location. Had chicken tiki masala three nights in a row. I can’t comment about the other dishes . I found one and could not seem to get enough. Delicious even three days in a row. It has been great to find a Indian restaurant in downtown Atlanta. I have eaten in my fair share of Indian restaurants and Haveli is one of the better ones. In my small town, my best option is to try to make my own l, still not even close to Haveli.
I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants, probably this would be the epitome of worst I have ever been to. The person who serves has no concern and basic ethics. The food is so bad that I wouldnt serve it for free let alone for money. I recommend all of you not to go if you want to have a pleasant rest of your day.Cheers!
On the day of Thanks Giving noon we visited this location for buffet. The person with black shirt and thick power-specs attended us and he seemed to be very rude to speak with customers. He was trying his best to convince us to go for Ala-carte and not for Buffet. But we preferred for buffet and had confirmed over phone before visiting the place. The food was pathetic. The Naans pot was empty. while asking for Naan, that guy replied as he can give only one at a time. What the hack !! Should we wait for each single Naan ?The goat curry was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE - it tasted as something else meat. Not much option to choose to eat there. Daal was stale from last night and was just warmed to serve for Buffet.Vegetable - only with Potato no green vegetable at all.We decided to just pay the money and leave since we were unable to put anything in stomach. We realized we spoiled our taste on such great day of Thanks Giving. I singed the CC bill but that guy forced us to pay him Tips because he said he aspect it from every customers. WOW !!I did not want to get into argument since I was with my wife and Son - I decided to just pay some tip to this beggar and walk away peacefully.I strongly suggest - dont spoil your day by visiting this place- if you really want to enjoy Indian food. They are surviving just because they are in downtown and this guy is good in flattering to people, I must say he survives from casula visitors only .Better is to visit near by greater Atlanta area, and enjoy real Indian tasty foods.
I generally dont give 1star , however this was really bad. We ordered paneer and daal curry and both has no taste..Daal was absolutely tasteless and Rice was not cooked properly. Person who was taking order asked us for drink , when we said no ..he has not at all taken any care of food. They had added 15% tip...for such bad service. Also its highly priced. Not all recommend .
I share a similar view with Jason J. It was during DragonCon. Sunday afternoon. My husband and I received our appetizer rather quickly. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our main entrees to arrive. We did not understand any of the English excuses the staff tried to give. Our order was not correct. I asked that my shrimp be none spicy. My husbands order had the none spicy shrimp and I had the spicy shrimp. It was a huge disappointment. Will not be eating here again.
Just in town for a business trip and have eaten here four times in the past week. The lunch buffet is very good and has some interesting dishes that I have never had before. Each dinner dish I got was very delightful and the pieces of naan are huge. I defiantly recommend this place.
Very disappointed to find that, while the name is the same, THIS IS NOT HAVELI INDIAN RESTAURANT as it was previously. We visited the old Haveli every year, multiple times, while in town for Dragoncon and were DEVASTATED to arrive at our favourite Indian restaurant to find its a loud bar/nightclub environment serving nothing close to the previous menu (chicken & waffles and breakfast food) Why keep the name then? We were so sad.
Wish I can give Neagtive Stars- The food is horrible and its no way close to indian food.. they jusy bold rice and cook chciken in some gravy..This is not India food- There is only one guy who will take your order-serve food and also take paymnet , so imagine how long you need to wait for your turn..and by the way - Tips are not your choice - he will tell your sad story to before you can even think of tipping him. The food is blan and taste less- Cold. This place is dull and Sad. Never dare of even trying. Thanks
We had such a wonderful experience at Haveli that we went back during our time in Atlanta. The food was excellent and very fresh, both on the buffet and at dinner. They were very eager-to-please and brought us many wonderful desserts. I highly recommend it and will return when I am in Atlanta again.
Try this place at your own risk! The worst food I have ever tried. All the gravies were diluted with water, dal was runny , the chick peas were floating in a sea of water instead of actual gravy,. Tthe chicken curry was bland and floating in transparent watery gravy. They are obviously cutting corners and don’t care one bit about taste. The food is bland and tasteless like hospital food . The staff is courteous but that cannot make up for this sad excuse for Indian food !
My friends and I came here for a quick bite of Indian cuisine and what we got was a long bite of burnt “food.” The chicken tikka masala was goopy and 90% water and the vegetables could’ve been prepared in 30 seconds rather than the 1.23hours it took in reality. The staff spoke all Hindi and seemed confused about everything, including other customers who also seemed maddened by the long wait time. Two parties left during our 1.23 hour long wait for food since they couldn’t handle the wait. The food also sneakily included a gratuity that no one knew about or wanted to pay for, and dishes worth less than 10$ ended up to be around 25$. If avoidable, don’t waste time here.
We placed our order, and an hour later had not received our wine. When we asked, they said the food was ready, but it still didnt bring our food for another 5 minutes. They argued with is over why it was reasonable. They started closing, including turning off lights, even though we hadnt had food for 10 minutes. The most polite person was the only non-indian person, and he left us a pitcher of water because they were closing, which another person tried to take away, and couldnt understand enough english to understand why we didnt want him to take it. The food is very good, which is the only reason this isnt a 1 star review, but not good enough to be worth it.
Eat food at your own risk, little the cook knows about the type of condiments spices and type of gravy to be used in different type Indian chicken recipes. They claimed to be Indian restaurant but am afraid the cook is really have any knowledge about Indian cooking. Simple chicken tikka recipe the most popular in India anybody knows it’s a red gravy chicken, never to use nuts and cashews 🤔 as it’s not from mogul origins????Another violation is they are serving nut content food without any notifications of allergens content where 30-40% kids are nut allergic. My daughter got allergic after just eating one bite, thankfully I had epipen injections with me.When contacted them they were not polite and apologetic !!!!Am going to report this incident to FDA ; restaurant &hotel inspection department😡😡😡😡😡
Very good service, The food was tasty. The person at the counter was a good person as well. He ensured that the TIP is Zero in the bill and he just asked to sign - no tips please. Also he ensured thar we get free parking in downtown region by using hus hotel app inspite of the glitches faced in the ParkJack app. Very accommodative to any last minute orders during the close time. All heavy taste we unique. We went for dinner on 12/2/19
One the worst food and service I ever had in my life.1) Too much time to serve2) Achari Dum Aloo: It was not dum allo nor achari. Its not that it was made bad it was. KT the actual stuff we ordered.3) Malai Kofta: feeling vomiting sensation after eating this food.4) for 2 folks they added 15% gratuity. No point spending money on this waste food.Sorry haveli, you need to improve a lot.
One of the best experiences (among MANY) Ive ever had in an Indian restaurant. Chef visited with us personally to help us select exactly the combos we wanted and our waiter treated us to the best dessert Ive ever had in an Indian restaurant: Lal Dahi (or Misti Doi), a kind of yogurt mousse that Ive never had and could happily eat every day. While its true the American parts of our dining (selecting and opening the champagne) were a bit challenging, the part we came to experience - authentic Indian cuisine - was delightful. Well be back on our next trip to Atlanta.
This has to be some of the worst Indian food Ive had. We ordered the Malai Kofta, 3 types of bread and rice. Absolutely no taste. Very bland. Indian food normally is known for complex flavors. This taste like what you could get this from the processed packet food.
Experience having eaten here indicates that the chef has no idea about Indian receipes. On having ordered a veg jalfrezi, the resultant product that was put on the table was some sort of Salad and it did not have the basic masala which is necessary for this item. So would not recommend
Went early on a Saturday night, we were the only ones in the place, so service was no problem. Food was less than mediocre, however. My husband and I always look for Indian food when we travel to cities, and though the atmosphere was fine (though some background music would have added greatly), and the manager did make an effort to socialize with us, the food was truly disappointing. We had the shrimp masala, and the sauce was old, thin and runny, flavorless though it had a sort of hot feel on the tongue (when asked, we said medium, and that was about right, just no taste). The paratha was the heaviest wheat bread wed ever experienced. The rice had none of the usual flavor, with no added cardamom or any other seeds. The actual shrimp was tough and pretty overcooked. The mango chutney was the usual canned stuff, certainly not fresh like weve had in a few rare restaurants like Thali in Rochester, NY last week. Everything was a la carte, so without tip, the meal was over $38, and that was with sharing just one entree! Hard to recommend, only for those desperate for Indian, as theyre the only ones in downtown Atlanta.
One of the worst indian food I have ever eaten in an indian restaurant in US. We ordered several dishes both veg and non veg and i cannot think of one dish which was even decent. On top of that, they charged 15% gratuity for 2 people. Thats ridiculous. First and last time to this restaurant.
Well i went with a lot of expectations.. the ambience is very poor.. almost like a nondescript indian bar. The food is much worse.. it lacked complete flavor and the samosas were obviously frozen and quick fried so some portions were still cold... i would probably never visit again
Horribly bad. Behaviour of staff is really bad. They shout at u when asked for any repeat order. Kitchen was closed without intimation. Moreover, they force u for a handsome tip ( USD 15 only). As far as taste is concerned, it is ok. But a definite NO for anyone planning.
Wow what a food! Amazing , marvelous and authentic. It is not like spicy like South Indian food. It is authentic more like bengali & North Indian style. Awesome, finger licking. pulav, fish, paneer what I tried and it is super delicious. I have come here many time and food experience is growing from best to super best every time
Give me a choice and Ill give a zero. The staff force you to order the dishes which you may not like. Next threat is the kitchen is closed without prior intimation. Icing on the cake is the forced tip which they add in the bill in the name of gratuity and take tax on that. Then ask you to pay for tip as well. Food is ok. But a definite NO for anyone planning to visit.
Nice place, ambience is comforting and relaxing. The food is not the best Indian cuisine weve experienced in the Atlanta area. If youre already downtown try it, but wouldnt travel out of my way to have it again.
The food at Haveli is some of the best Indian food we have ever eaten. We cook a lot of Indian food, have been to excellent Indian restaurants in NYC and London, including Tamarind (which has a Michelin star), and the food here is every bit as good, if not better. Everything from the tandoori dishes to the seafood and vegetarian entrees to the raita, the fragrant rice with clove and cardamom, the exquisite whole wheat paratha, to the yoghurt custard are nothing less than superb. We have eaten here two nights in row and will probably go back again while we are in Atlanta. The chef and the dining room manager are delightful and made us feel like a mixture of honored guests and family.
We went here on a Sunday night. We were a group of 12 people. So we were expecting great reception. But on the contrary, no one there seemed to bother about our coming. They looked in a hurry. We waited for about 10 minutes for our table to be prepared. But it never happened. One of the hosts was a bit rude. We wouldnt go here again simply because the staff was not customer friendly.
Haveli is situated bang in downtown Atlanta, and is walkable from many attractions like the centennial park. The ambience is great, with an Indian royal backdrop. The food was just ok all the 5 times i have been here, especially for the price that i paid. The price may be justified by the location though where real estate rentals are high.Overall a good experience.
I went on a Friday night at 830..waited an hour for samosas that were burned on the outside and frozen on the inside. the veggie korma was both crazy salty and tasteless.. plus really watery... this was the first Indian meal Ive ever not finished.... on the flip side the guy at the table next to mine was served quickly and seems happy enough..
I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The food was tasteless and they look a long time to refill. Not to mention there were very less items for the amount paid. Chicken Currys gravy was watery. Chicken seemed under cooked. Same for goat curry. Would not visit again.
MOST AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD - Made and served with the taste, hospitality and warmth of home food. I have travelled most the world and would put this amongst the top 10 Indian restaurants. Please do not get misled by other wannabe “Indian” sounding other restaurants.
Even for Atlanta, Haveli provides at best mediocre food. I leave you to read the other reviews that discuss that. Unfortunately, in downtown you really dont have many options that are convenient to business travelers so I have found myself eating there despite my better judgment.Im not sure why anyone would say this is the best food in the USA or that because Indians were there that it must be good. When youre desperate, youll eat what you find (witness me in Atlanta). And I have sat in terrible Thai restaurants in Brazil and American restaurants in India full of non-locals seeking comfort food -- and dealing with bad quality because they wanted a taste of home. I, in fact, regularly eat in so-so Indian joints all around America just because Im craving flavor beyond the normal pastas and pizzas available to a vegetarian on the road. (Note: Atlanta DOES have some great Thai food, so I would recommend Indians craving flavor go that route.)Food: The only plus I can list is that there are times when the food is spicy, which also helps overcome low taste. Portions are reasonably sized and the thali is more than enough food for one person. (Personally, I wish they would add a little raita as a side, but whatever.) Overall, though, the quality of the food is at best mediocre and not worth the trip.Prices are high for Indian, particularly of this quality and service especially for Atlanta. Vegetarian thali and one glass of wine set me back over $30, which would be shocking in Los Angeles or Chicago.Service is beyond slow and very perfunctory (Ready [to order]?). That said, I can not say they were unfriendly. Just bad at serving. I stood for five minutes while multiple people passed me by before I was able to get a table in a 1/2 full restaurant. Then someone took my order and disappeared. Then someone else took it. On the third try, food started to arrive, but Im not sure what helped. I still had to flag someone down to finally get my drink brought. The staff seems to buzz around the restaurant somewhat randomly, like a Roomba -- offering service whenever they bump into a customer. They were not understaffed (in fact, I would say they were overstaffed), but just inefficient. To add insult to injury, when I asked for the check I happened to review the line items and they had taken the liberty of adding gratuity (without notice) to the bill even though I was eating alone. On the charge slip, this wasnt noted so the tip line was blank, leading me to almost double tip for horrendous service. Maybe they know they are bad and figure this is the only way to get tips.Short version: Dont do it unless youre desperate and stuck downtown, and even then, go in knowing what youre in for... have an extra glass of wine and bring something to read while you wait.
The food was great and the staff was very friendly throughout the night. The food was also very fresh. The restaurant was pretty empty when we went at night so I would making it not feel too crowded. Overall a great experience.
Believe the negative reviews! The food here is terrible - no flavor and stale. In the entire pan of saag paneer, there was only like 3 cubes of paneer. The naan sitting out was sad and dry. Spend the $14 you’ll shell out for the lunch buffet literally anywhere else.
I can only assume that the bad reviews are from people who expected the same old Indian food with boiled vegetables covered in sauce. Haveli takes a different approach, with fresh vegetables, dry spicing where appropriate, and just the right amount of oil/ghee so the food isnt floating in it. I have to admit I went to Haveli with some trepidation based on the reviews, but it was the only Indian restaurant within walking distance of my hotel. I ordered the vegetable Jalfrezi, which was prepared with local ingredients: jalapenos instead of red peppers, spring onions, and a good amount of broccoli florets, carrots, and cauliflower, cooked so they still had texture and flavor, not too crisp and not mushy. There was also fresh ginger, a delicious and unexpected flavor. This is the kind of food I would cook at home: fresh, healthy, tasty. The samosas were also crisp on the outside with a well-spiced filling. And they provide spicy pickle as part of the condiment tray, not an additional cost side.I was so impressed I went back the next day for the lunch buffet. The Baingan Bhartha was fresh and combined in perfect proportion so you could taste the eggplant and tomatoes. The Dal Makhni was some of the best Ive had, and they had broccoli and mushrooms, cooked again so the vegetables had texture and flavor, not a paste covered by sauce. I had 3 helpings and left feeling satisfied, not overfull after a typical Indian buffet. Outstanding! As you can probably tell, Im a vegetarian, so I cant comment on the meat dishes. If you want healthy, flavorful, and elegant Indian food in Atlanta, you have to try Haveli even if youre not in the heart of the city.
What an A1, first class experience we had here. The moment we walked in the door we knew we found the right place for dinner. The chef was very interactive with us, gauging our experience with the type of cuisine and helping us build the perfect family style meal. We look forward to dining again on a future visit to Atlanta.
Best restaurant with delicious food; warmth service and great ambiance. We ordered malai kofta; but owner recommended paneer makhani. It was very delicious. Perfect spicey and tasty. Then asked for Bengali sweet. Owner surprised with MISHIE DOHIE. Amazing. More foodies should visit this Haveli.
I went to Atlanta for an international conference and my group decided to go here. The service was okay, the heavy in the food wasnt thick like it should be felt like it wasnt cooked all the way through, seemed like it was.watered down which lead it so be very bland. If it wasnt bad enough, they automatically made us pay a 25% gratuity fee when the bill came for this absolutely rubbish food. By looking at the restaurant it seems ALL SHOW AND NO GO.
Rude, terrible staff. Stated they were too busy to answer if some of their dishes on the buffet would be dairy free for food allergies. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC FOOD. They dont even know what half the dishes are when I spoke to them. Plenty of other options around. AND THEY ARE OVER PRICED. Place is a RIP OFF.
First time here. It was ok. The restaurant smelled if incense and it was quite strong smell. It really bothered my 5 yr old daughter. Staff was friendly. Wasnt really impressed with food, but hubby loved it.
Advertised as an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet, I stepped in for a quick bite. Upon entering, I noticed that every single table was uncleared and still had plates and filth everywhere. After waiting 15 minutes, I was seated at a soaking wet table. When I approached the buffet, I realised that the plates were filthy and that every item on the buffet was out, save for Minute Rice presented as basmati rice, creamed spinach touted as saag paneer and a VERY bitter raita. When I sat down to eat, I realised that I had no silverware and, following the ques of other diners, went to the waitress station to assemble a set for myself from a drawer. I took a few bites of the food before I gave up entirely. I finally received a glass or water at this point, but I just paid my tab and left. Never again.
It took more than an hour to get the food after we ordered. Also, the waiters were so rude. The manager was also very rude. very small quantity of food and very costly.Even after we got our order this late the food was so cold that we were not able to eat anything and left with a heavy bill. total waste of money.
Nice hidden gem in atlanta. Good drinks and music but the food was awful my wings and fries were crispy/hard. But other than that staff is cool
Amazing food and definitely amazing service. My best frnds husband and I planned a dinner party for my best frnds bday and the staff was so cooperative. They let us decorate! And they let us have the party our way. The food was amazing and I highly recommend Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Jalfrezi!!
I ordered appetizers 10 orders from here, they given me around 7 orders in pack of silver foil. I didn’t open and seen inside how many are there. He purposely said i am giving 10$ off on the entire order because of the 10 quantity I ordered.such a worst behavior and service.
I have been to many Indian restaurant and compared to that Indian food in haveli is NOT that great. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone. Chicken Jalfarazi we had was very dry and oily. Chicken was too hard. Dal tadka tasted like it came directly from mixer.
We went towards the end of a buffet time. Like a greedy businessman he said come on in. I have full buffet and I will refill whatever is needed. Than he had left Over tandoori chicken, he mixed in the gravy (tasteless). He came few minutes later and said I can not cook as it will go waste. What a poor service to make few bucks. He is a liar. I WILL NEVER GO THERE.
The only reason I am giving this extra star is they serve the black pepper papadums. I asked for poori’s the man told me to order paratha. I love paratha but this one was a burned hard mess. The potatoes are canned 🤢. On the menu the dish I ordered was described as spicy. It was so bland. I asked for some spicy pickle to give it flavor and instead they took my dish away to do something to it that made it not better and gave tome to make my paratha harder.👎👎👎
Terrible service. There are lots of people walking about but no one to serve you. After sitting for about 30 min, I had to beg the owner to send me a waiter which he then proceeded to do himself. The food took longer to arrive. Worst of all after I requested a check it took him another 15 min to being the check and then he disappeared again for another 15 min. I then had to take the check to the counter to pay it instead of waiting for them to collect it.
Never ever visit these guys , they are overpriced and the food is so bad . The attitude of the staff is worst which we cant expect in us. I wonder how this restaurant is running . Amar is a nearby Indian restaurant which gives great services and good food . The old manager guy is compelling us to take some more food which actually we dont want . They are rude and stupid fellows
Worst Indian food in Atlanta1. Veggi -- If you ask for medium spicy/ spicy food. All they do is as add Chilli flakes while reheating the food.2. Breads -- Naan and Roti are thick and hard to chew. You can call it chewing gum naan.3. Rice - I have ordered pulav couple of time. The taste is really inconsistent.Time to serve food at times is 30-35 minutes even when they do not have much customers in the restaurant.WORST of all!!!. I ordered vegetarian food and they served non-veg.Overall poor taste, pathetic customer service and zero value for money.
Excellent service, great food, and convenient location. Its in the middle of downtown, and its near famous locations like the aquarium and Coca-Cola World. If you like Indian cuisine, make sure to stop by.
This is the only place in that area where they wont overcharge you and the food is great! These other reviews must be from the competition! Very nice and friendly people! This is the only place I was able to stand, everywhere else people are annoying and too crowded. If I went back to Atlanta this will be my go to Indian cuisine.
Great food, and the mango Lassi was very good. The owner was there and chatted with us for a short time because it was a slow night, and seemed very friendly and cared a lot about serving meals people will love. If I go back to Atlanta, Ill go back to this restaurant.
One of the best indian food joints I have ever been in the USA. I have been visiting this place since 1996 everytime I am in Atlanta,GA for the International Poultry Exposition. The chef and the team are extremely cordial and service oriented. If you are looking for authentic tasting indian food, this is the best place in Atlanta. My favorite dishes are Lacha paratha, Baingan Bartha, Yellow Dal Fry, Rice Kheer and Mango Kulfi; makes the best complete meal.
Trust me, see all the reviews. You will get to know the background idea about this restaurant. Now my review is as below.Cons:-1. Worst restaurant.2. Any Indian who is hungry and going to die. Trust me dont go to this restaurant, you will definitely die.3. The waiter i.e. the owner is rude, fool. Dont care about people.4. Food over here is stale and cold, not cooked well.5. These guys are shame to India. I think this haveli guys should stop making food and instead start another business which doesnt include word food.Cons:-1. If you want to pee or go to the bathroom then only go here.
Worst food, ordered kulcha , i wonder how they call themselves Indian restaurant. An Indian restaurant would serve at least a pickle and Yogurt for any order of kulcha, first time in my life saw poori served with out potato curry. I got a plain poori that double thick like naan and no curry on side.
Good authentic dishes, nice variety of options including some vegan choices. Price was reasonable and the staff were attentive and friendly. Would eat here again.
Haveli Indian Cuisine Serves Indian food which has some sort of Bengali taste too. The place is spacious and can serve more than 50 guests at a time. Buffet lunch and dinner is served which has got numerous varieties which includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food with more emphasis on non-veg items. At US 13.99$, it look reasonable, if you compare similar restaurants around. Along with sabzi/curry, pulao, raita, salad, pakoda etc Haveli also serves, desert and cut fruits. Gazar Halva served was ice cold and fresh and miles away from authentic indian taste. Owner is polite. One must pay a visit.
Our ( I and my friends ) experience was really really bad. We felt taken for a ride on that saturday , after our lunch ( a buffet ). They served us food that was cooked a day before ( how else can you explain a cold tandoori chicken at 12 Noon ) or may be even a week before...service was pathetic to the point that we started feeling if there was something wrong with us....food was at best so so...worse 2 in the group threw it up in 2 hours after lunch....it spolied the rest of the day for us.....if possible stay away from here. Well, there were 2 things that we liked...kheer and onion pakodas....Haveli earns a single star for that !!
Worst Indian restaurant I ever been to. We had buffet and all curry dishes were too much watery just like u r eating soup. Also Naan did not taste fresh.
Absolute garbage. The food is disgusting and the service is even worse. Im just glad I didnt do a business dinner here with my staff or customers. The require gratuity because so many people refuse to tip after dining in. The owner made it clear he doesnt expect repeat business.
Delicious food and delightful service! Next time we are in Atlanta we will certainly come back!!! The owner greeted us and asked how we were. The staff was courteous. MOSTLY the food was YUMMY!
Excellent food! Great ambiance! If someone wants a real Indian treat in greater Atlanta area..this the place to be. The service is little slow .......patience is virtue.
On a Thursday afternoon at 12.15 if an Indian restaurant is empty, that should speak volumes. We were hungry and went it. Frankly, both the vegetarian and chicken dishes lacked flavor, spice and everything. Last time to Haveli....Dont waste your time.
Service was great, and so was the food. Sold me on the large Taj Mahal import beer, but I still think it is just a light domestic re-bottled and re-labeled so that I thought my stupid American brain thinks I am being worldly.
I wish i could go below 1 rating. Worst experience ever, food was terrible and when i tried to give constructive feedback the staff person got offensive and started arguing. Didnt even check how was the food while we were eating and you dont have option to reward/punish because they charge their 15% tip on their own.
The lunch buffet was very bland and cold..I went around noon and the food looked and tasted like it was a day old, the staff was very friendly but they need to focus on improving the quality of the food. Most of the restaurant was empty and I can see why.
It was good non-veg cuisine but not good option for vegetarian. Also there werent tasty sweet dish option. We reached there at 2:32 and they didnt cared for warming the food.
I will give 4.5 stars to this place ; excellent food and ambiance. Rare to find such a place in Downtown Atlanta. The service was courteous and timely. The food was tasty and enjoyable.I would definitely go back.
First time our family ever tried Indian food and we loved it. Raju was very helpful guiding us through the menu and he made excellent recommendations.
Recently I noticed that Havelis customer service has seriously declined. Last time I was there, the host was very snappy, and a A friend informed me that while she was dining there for lunch the other day, the chef, and the host started questioning her name and her vegetarian lifestyle. She said that out-of-the-blue The chef asked her if she was Muslim. She said yes, and then he asked for her name. She said her name, then he said that Muslims dont have those type of names. then later he and the host started questioning her vegan food selection saying Muslims arent vegetarians. She diplomatically explained to them that they were in error and that they have no idea what being a Muslim is about, and that they are totally ignorant in regards to her name been un-Islamic.My friend had been there previously, with her brothers, and the chef and the host had never said anything out of the way to her. I find it very interesting that on this occasion that she was dining alone, and started with such ignorant frivolous chatter and banter. Its obvious that they were clueless about who they were bothering. As a result, of this incident, I am sure that my friend will be informing everyone in her office building, and post online reviews about the ignorant Indian men at Haveli. As a female, I find that the mens behavior is a mild form of harassment. Especially since my friend was quietly dining there, and didnt initiate such a conversation. If she was a man, they wouldve not have started talking such foolishness. The ignorant men in Haveli demonstrated the degree of male chauvinism that exists within their culture and religion. In closing, I and my friends/family had been dining at Haveli for over 4 years however, due to this incident, We have decided to end the business relationship. Its over! I implore everyone else whose reading this to do the same.Instead of going to Haveli, you can go to Turmeric located at Peachtree Center. Turmeric doesnt have a buffet but the food is good, and the employees/owners there dont harass their customers.tags: atlanta indian restaurant, haveli, downtown atlanta indian restaurant, atlanta indian buffet restaurant
The slow service isnt true at all because they have to cook it fresh. This place has great food, nice north Indian waiters and fresh authentic food. My family is Indian and I know this is good. :)
Good atmosphere, friendly people & worst food. We ordered Samosa it seems like its frozen Samosa & they just made it warm & served. Vegetables are also tasteless.
While visiting Atlanta, I found this Gem... I went at closing time and the gentlemen were amazing. The curry goat, spinach paneer and mango lassi were delicious. Of youre staying at the westin peachtree, its a 2 minute walk and well worth it.
Indian food had never really been my thing, but the food here its pretty good. Definitely ask them for their recommendations!
I love this place. Hosts are very polite, courteous and open to customize order. Very tasty food. Visited multiple times and quality was good all the time.
This is an awesome place. Beautiful ambience, very nice staffs. All kind of Indian both veg and non veg food is available here. Goat meat is just magnaficant.
Not worth for the cost . Very few dishes. Desserts really worst . All they have is reheated basmati rice and roti . Most important , they dont have briyani . Please dont go.
Excellent service with flavorful dinner options. Never busy at dinner. Im sure the lunch buffet is a good option when in the area. Try this place!
Service is aweful, over an hour wait on a half filled room. Waiters are absent for 25 minutes at a time. Food is decent, but lacks service and flavor.
The food is okay, but not that tasty for an Indian restaurant. I felt the Thali(meals) i ate was a little overpriced for the provided items.
I went there during peak lunch time on a weekday.. when every other place in the area is near capacity and this place was near emmpty. The interiors are very depressing.. dark colors and so is the food. The curries are watery and insipid.
Great food! Ate here 3 days in a row when was visiting for the ASM microbe conference. Made me feel at home. Staff is really nice. Looking forward to visiting ATL again!
My party and I had a wonderful time, Orlando the owner and Johanna the bartender were amazing best drinks and best wings in Atlanta!
Great restaurant at the heart of downtown atlanta.Lunch buffet is really good. You will not be disappointed. Owner and their staff is very friendly.
Taste : **Cost : $$$$Service : ****Ambience: ***Happened to go in search of Indian restaurant in Atlanta, after a tiring day. The place is in downtown and empty. The service and advice from the person who took order was good. But the food taste was really bad. Garlic Naan was dry, Dal Makhani was average without much taste. No butter was there. Basmati rice was half cooked. Is it something iconic, because he claims it is since 1984 and not worth missing : Certainly not. Pretty average. Its OK to miss it.Please take care that he adds Gratuity amount during the presentation of the initial bill itself. So, carefully look at the bill unless you want to add tips for the second time.
Worst food. Visit if you have money to throw.I ordered bindi (okra) masala and the bindi was horrible. The rice was dry. This place should be shut down.
Amazing food and amazing quality. The owner and staff is very polite and nice. Best Indian food in Atlanta, definitely will go back !
One of the Best Indian Cuisine in Atlanta.. Food was perfect ...Excellent staff n service. Sammi kumar was Very Nice . Thank you Haveli.
Dont go to this restaurant. The food is bad and the staff is very rude. There are plenty of other Indian options in the area. Go to any of the other ones instead.
Enjoyed my 2 visits here. Will be back. Tasty buffet selections. Drove 30 minutes, then took MARTA another 25 minutes to get here. Will do it again.
The place is really welcoming and nice but the food is not at all tasty. Have less options in buffet and it expensive for that tasteless food
The food was delicious ... price...not so much when mapped to portions...and the automatic gratuity is a bit of a turn off as well. But it was delicious.
I was traveling through Atlanta and randomly stumbled upon this restaurant. I was disappointed by this other restaurant I tried the day before and this was definitely a pleasant surprise. Their food quality is good and have a nice setup.
This is probably the best food I have ever eaten in my life. The manager/owner makes you feel like an honored guest and the food they serve is to die for.
Service was slow, but its a small place. Definitely did not mind. Also, the waiter with the pony tail was very nice and accommodating.
Food is very good. Staff is very friendly. I never food which was so light for stomuch and very delicious. I will recommend to anyone.Good quality food which is healthy and tastety.
This was very close to my hotel, and I love Indian food. The staff was friendly, and the meal was well prepared and delicious.
One of the best indian restaurants hands down.. Great food, Great service i would definitely recommend it to people looking for exotic dining in Atlanta!
Decent Indian food for the locstion; theres not much competition in this area of downtown for Indian cuisine. The food is good, but not necessarily memorable.
Was absolutely amazing and service was more then great the people were very nice and made it a all around great time plus the food was delicious! So dont miss out!!!
Delicious!!!! The food is great!! Fresh! Complex flavors. Excellent Service. The lunch buffet is a bonus!!
One of the worst food I had in Atlanta... Poor quality ... Absolutely no one in the restaurant expect one waiter and we ... Ambience is worst ... Vessels were not clean.... One of the worst experience ever in an Indian restaurant
Havelock restaurant has such a nice buffet during lunch I especially enjoyed the mutton that has such a wonderful gravy! Delicious !
Recent review posted about religion, is not true. she tried to explaine Islam, we ignored. thats the problem. how funny!!! we are not bound to listen about religion. Why Muslim people try to forced to listen to them!!!!????? And have to belive them. why why why??? if weignored, we are bad. sooo funny.
I went for lunch on weekend. The atmosphere is good but food is worst. Not fresh, not have enough variety to call it as buffet, not tasty.
Not customer friendly, need to take proper etiquette session to keep it forward. They should deal with customer not fight. I cant give more than one star to this restaurant
Very cool atmosphere, nice bar, nice seating, nice space. Was there for an event and would definitely visit there again.
Good place to go with friends. Drinks prices are at market price but the staff are very nice
Food is excellent, friendly staff, service is quick, clean restaurant.I have been in here many time Must try tandoor chicken.
The food and service were excellent. I would return.
Always a good experience. Newly turned Vegan better half was well taken care of.First class restaurant.
Food & service poor. Most disappointing is 15% gratuity in addition to sales tax. This is scam & I will dispute this bill to get back gratuity.
This restaurant delivered to our booth in AmericasMart during a busy conference! What service! Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious.
Food and service are very good! I tasted all kind of dishes and all of them were tasty!
Was very skeptical at first by looking at the reviews. But truly speaking, the food was awesome..felt like home made food.
Really bad food. The pakoras were stale, they didnt had plain lassi or samosas and the meal was barely Indian except for their naan.
The best indian food I have had since coming to the US. Excellent ambience and surprisingly affordable. :-D
Food was decent for the most part but not worth the prices charged. The service was terrible. Returning to this restaurant is out of the question.
Absolutely loved the food here! Very authentic. The navaratan korma is fantastic. Will be back again and again!
It was nice time with my family at Haveli. Chicken tikka masala and naan was just awesome. I recommend this restaurant to all.
Went there to see the hottest new producers. A little 14 y/o kid is NxtUP @therealmapa on Instagram
Very high price for a buffet where none of the items were any good. Everything was bland, the daal had almost no flavour, and the bread was stale.
This is an amazing restaurant with the best staff ever! The chef visits the table and the servers are the most attentive I’ve experienced.
It is an awesome place to have lunch or dinner. You will get a home like preparation with awesome taste. Do visit once and check yourself.
Great option for Indian food and superb Taste. Wish I can give more than 5 stars...
After reading the reviews I was skeptical about dining at this restaurant. It turn about to be awesome, the lunch buffet was great.
Horrible experience worst 😫 worst 😫 food having in my life.... quantity and taste is also bad price is very high.....plz dont go
Nice food and excellent service...very spacious and reasonably maintained, though it has over 25years of existence as we were told!!
Amazing Indian lunch buffett, not huge, but quality was A+ very nice staff food just awesome.
I have been eating Indian food past 25 years and this is the worst of all. This is definitely not the Indian food. Sorry
I should have believed the previous reviews. The food was bland and the naan wasnt fresh. The glasses had old lipstick stains. Ugh. Dont eat here.
As a indian ,this is the worst worst worst Indian restaurant in my life and Atlanta as well, especially the person who is serving and processing payments, he is the worst guy, Also he was demanding tip money and fighting for the tip with my friend when we went have a buffet in this location, I wish we have a zero star to write the review and owner can read this review, I wish he will fire this guy and make some improvements,HE IS MISBEHAVING WITH WOMEN.was a bad experience.
Authentic good tasting food, very friendly and attentive service. Simply enjoyable.
Amazing food! Every time I come here I eat at this place. Best Indian Food ever!
Consistently good Tasting food.. great hot food excellent buffet. Right in downtown Atlanta.
The Greatest Indian Cuisine IN ATL... That is All..... Its not just the Food its the Feeling you get when you walk in. #Dream
We sat there 40 minutes before our order was taken and another 30 afterwards without ever getting our appetizer or drinks or even a refill on our water.
Tasty food, good buffet, nice decor, attentive service, easy parking (they validate).
Great food and excellent service.Must eat this place once , We come to Atlanta every August and always eat at Haveli twice.
Amazing food & authentic experience. I will recommend to anyone in Atlanta! It’s a must-have!
Not sure why this place is getting a lot of negative reviews...ALL the buffet items were great, and at a great price point.
I came in from Quebec Canada with my friends from around the world and this is the best!Awesome Service you feel like you are family here.
Worst Indian food Ive ever had. Microwaveable from supermarket is much preferred.
Best place for savoring Indian Cuisine, nice rustic environment, would love to visit them again.
This is one of the worst Indian restaurant In Atlanta. If you want to eat real Indian food don’t go there ..
Amazing restaurant.. amazing food ..chicken makhani is a must try ... Authentic Indian food in Atlanta :)
Great place and great food service for lunch and dinner here and them are talk active and wants to get more people for service here in Atlanta Colorado please try this place out please and be nice words to talk about this location please and great place to live in Atlanta Colorado
Super pricey and really small portions. Food does not taste well
Food is very salty (Pakora, mutton), dry, most of the food tray was empty during lunch time and is too expensive.
Sooo... Youre too busy to take my take away order... Well Im sorry but thats shocking since its hotel district and sometimes I just wanna be in my room away from the madness of conventioneers. #dontwantmymoney
Staff was nice but food was either to sick or not doctor enough. Chicken was dry and tough.
Tasty food and even better ambience. The seats were so nice and well decorated.
Great indian food in downtown ATL. The veggie thali is a top option to try a bit of everything!!
Bad service ever the person at the counter don’t even have manners to talk and he even charged me extra for food the other employee was so kind he came and helped me out and gave my money back still the other person was arguing with me bad experience I don’t even feel like giving one star to this restaurant.
As other reviews have mentioned, service is very unprofessional. Food was good but it was a dreadful experience.
Good food, good service, nice people. If youre in the area definitely check it out.
The owner is super nice , the service and food was 5 star all the way.
Wish i could give them 0 zero stars, one of the worst places to have indian food in USA.
Good and spacious place Humble staff. An improvement in quality of food needed.
Very good service. Good food and affordable buffet for lunch for $14
Staff is rude they throw plates on you before and after food food quality is not good as well
