JP Foot Spa - Foot & Body Massage

Ive been coming here for years for a full body massage (like knowing what song is coming next on the musak loop kind of long term). Heres everything you need to know.Most importantly, to have a good experience here, communicate with the person checking you in about what you want and dont want. The people giving the massages usually dont speak a lot of English. So anything other than OK, too hard, no thank you may not be understood. Or use a translator app (Mandarin) on your phone.If you bought a Groupon, you may not get the same level of service as if you paid cash. They probably get 50% less for Groupons and the point is to make you want to become a paying customer. Remember to tip as if you paid the full price.Third, this is not a national chain massage place. Unless you ask for something else, you are going to get a hard massage which will include their elbows, forearms, and maybe walking or squatting on your back. Its full contact. Youll also get hot stones for free. If you want something milder, your best bet is to tell the person out front (see above). If you pay for a 60 minute massage, you should get 60 minutes of massage, not 50 like at the chain places.Also, compared to the chains, every part of you will be massaged including your glutes. They will be uncovered at some point and the draping will be fairly casual. They are not going to be constantly shifting and tucking blankets to make sure parts of you are never seen. If that makes you uncomfortable, maybe keep some of your clothes on. And if it really makes you uncomfortable, tell the person out front.But if you like a Shiatsu style of massage, this place is great. If you find someone you like, call or, better yet, text ahead to request them. Same day is usually fine.The only knock is that, as others have said, the place is a little musty.Lastly, Ive been to about 10 other Chinese-run massage places in the area. Almost every one of them has eventually propositioned me for something beyond a massage. This has never happened at JP in dozens and dozens of massages.

I paid for the foot massage. That always involves as advertised head-neck-shoulder-hand-back-foot but I did not receive a massage on hand, shoulders, or back and those 3 areas were my problem spot. I’ve been coming for 5 years. I’ve even bought my husbands employees gift cards to here for the holidays. The people there when I came in this time did not understand English(which is not uncommon for here). I told them what I wanted done and I got the 30 min massage. I let them know at the end and if I could pay the difference they said no but I did not get the massage I paid for. I will be speaking to the owners to see if they can get it sorted out or a lawyer because that’s false advertisement and they did not correct the problem after they called a manager

I decided to make a last minute appointment for a foot massage. The prices were reasonable and got more than i bargained for. I definitely will return in the future. #HighlyRecommended

60 minute massage includes full body and hot stones. They do apply a good amount of pressure which I enjoy. I’ve had massages done for $300+ that weren’t nearly as good. Not sure what people are complaining about!

Good overall massage. Good atmosphere, relaxing, got some kinks out. I go often and usually have a different person each time.

This was a bad massage experience to me, and I would not recommend JP Foot Spa to anyone. I bought a 70 minutes massage and hot stone treatment from Groupon. I got a male masseur. He used too much pressure and I did not enjoy the massage, plus he has some nails that poking and pinching me whenever his hands tried to reach under my neck or shoulder. For the hot stone treatment, 2 pieces of hot stones were used to rub on your back up and down 2 times... thats it. Finally he told me Its done, sir and left the room. I got up and looked a the clock, it was only 60 minutes past. I had no choice but put my clothes back on. Walked out and talked to the lady in the front desk. I told her I paid for 70 minutes session, but I only had 60 minutes. She looked at the clock and said I told the masseur its a 70 minutes session at the beginning. Then she just said sorry and thats it. She did not try to offer anything like give me back 10 minutes when I come next time or simply refund what they overcharged. Anyway I wont go back again. Since I bought 3 massages from Groupon and this was the first one I used. I will request Groupon to refund another 2 sessions I havent used. JP Foot Spa is not a honest business.

Great massage place one of the best massages my father and I ever had. They really care for the persons body and accommodate to any injury or pain. We got the 40 min foot massage with the 60 min full body massage through Groupon. Would go back again.

If this review offends anyone I’m sorry but this is ridiculous. Fifth time going here today in past 2 years. I went out of my way to go to the ATM and get cash as they’ve given me rude looks whenever I’ve paid for the massage via credit card. I asked for the $75 foot and body massage and asked for $5 back (aka $20 tip) before the service. Woman at desk didn’t understand a word I was saying. She then said only thing available was the $90 90 minute full body massage. I reluctantly said ok but obviously I implied I only had $10 cash left tip. Massage was not bad, not great but not bad at all. Sure enough she gave me a scowl when I only had ten dollars to tip. I asked if I could tip on a credit card and she said fine in an upset. I know they probably don’t report 99 percent of their cash sales but come on it’s 2023….learn English and get with the times.

My daughter and I enjoyed our massage here at the spa. Weve been here in the past as well. Their hospitality is pretty good. My only complaint is my massage felt kinda rough at times. Im not making any big deal about it though. Overall, nice place and Id still come again. I used the deal off of Groupon which was pretty neat.

Horrible first impression and very unprofessional!I purchased 4 Groupons, sceduled my first appt and when I got there the woman said that being as I didnt answer her call from 2hrs prior she cancelled my appt. She never left a message or even bothered to try to call me back as I was in church when she called and couldnt answer or recognized the number. We will see how things go when I actually receive the massage?

I got a deep tissue massage with Mary. wow!!! She was great!! Very strong hands - she got into the places where I needed it the most. I will be back!

JP provide a LEGIT therapeutic massage, administered by incredibly gifted masseurs! Will never go anywhere else! Ignore clueless reviewers who dont read the Services menu and are confused when it includes more than feet. Appreciate all that youre getting! The prices are far below the current rate, so YES you should tip generously. Its a family business and they work very hard to take excellent care of their customers. We buy the card at $200 for [4] 60m Accupressure and tip $20 for each masseuse, each time.

I came here for a deep tissue body and foot massage. It was amazing. Peter (masseur) did such a phenomenal job. I will def be going back for my massages. I highly recommend Peter!

This was definitely THE best massage I’ve ever had! Mary did an excellent job on hitting all of the major muscle groups and the smaller more intricate muscles. I am very pleased with the service and quality of work. I highly recommend Mary to do you massage. This was my second time here and even the first massage I had was fabulous! So worth it. I’ll be back :)

Would not go back here. When I walked in, lady wanted me to help her understand a customer on the phone because she could not understand English. I booked a 70 min foot massage and they did a 60 minute full body massage instead. When leaving they tried to get me to buy more massages and then instructed me to leave a tip. What kind of place is this? Unprofessional, rude, and did not follow customer’s instructions. I am adding a star because the actual massage was good - would rate the massage itself a B.

Very hit or miss with this establishment. Somedays you get the best massage of your life, other days its like they are just rubbing oil on you for 60 mins and trying to get you out of there. With as much inconsistency as weve gotten, we are going to have to stop going here and start the difficult search for another massage place. We enjoyed their services, when it was good, but literally not knowing if we are coming in to get a great massage or get oil slapped for 60 mins doesnt justify the cost.

I got a combination 90minute foot and full body massage for Christmas. It was a Groupon and had no problems using it. Everyone that works there is very professional and the facility is very clean. Massages were great and Ill definitely be going back

It was a decent massage, nothing too special. My girlfriend and I each received a $28/hr massage. At one point during the massage the masseuse bent the waistline of our pants, nothing too uncomfortable or informal. However, my girlfriend did not feel comfortable with it so she put her pants back to normal. I’m not sure if it makes it easier or not to have the pants bent like that, but her masseuse re-bent her pants waistline again. This did not sit well with the both of us. After we went home, she told me. I called them to calmly explain what had happened, but they did not see anything wrong with what happened. I recommend the customer speak up if they feel uncomfortable. I also recommend the masseuse to realize when/if the customer feels uncomfortable. For the sole purpose of the not being professional, I give this spa 1 star.

Huge fan of JP Foot Spa. iHave been coming here for years, iWas referred by a family member. Thank you Lisa, Michael, Kelly, all the JP Spa staff! Great experience every time. Sometimes they get busy (from their high demand), but the effort and experience will be consistent.

I go to this place often, I wish more of the staff would speak English but they are always friendly. The massages are amazing and different than the norm. My only real issue is the smell of the place, I wish they make it smell clean and fresh or use some essential oils. Some of the men that have worked on me also need to smell better, breath and hands!!!

Came in for an hour foot massage that ended up turning into almost 2 hours. Not too happy with that because for good amount of time my feet were just soaking in warm water until they remembered I was there. The massage was great itself and got a back/shoulder massage as well. Also for $28 cant complain there.

I have been here plenty of times ([probably 15 times) due to their prices and its really hit or miss. I have only done the full body massages. I had some massages that were better than professional massage places and I have had massages that were way too rough and hurt. I have had more good experiences than bad which is why I continue to go back.

Im never disappointed when I receive services @ JP. Im already trying to figure out when I can schedule my next appointment. Ana is an amazing massage therapist and I will definitely be asking for her!

We went with the Groupon coupon. Me and my boyfriend went for a combination massage. It was good. I liked the hot stone massage much. My boyfriend wanted to have deep tissue but he felt the pressure was not adequate. Otherwise the massage was really good as per the price.

I bought a groupon and decided to try this place out. I bought the hour full body massage. I put down I wanted deep tissue but really didnt get that type of massage. It was more of a ruff rub down. There wasnt a lot of actual massage. I did enjoy the massage just needed more deep tissue. I loved the hot rock technique. Overall, the massage was relaxing and helped with my tension and muscle relaxation. I decide to buy the 4 massage punch card. The price is great and it was a good massage. The next time I will ask for deep tissue masseuse.

Got a full body massage- Terrible ! It’s was Done by a lady ( I think the owner). Just alot of really hard pushing & pressing instead of massaging and kneading. Not at all relaxing. Obviously not her forte. I have had several foot massages done here & they were very good. Unfortunately, hands down this was the worst body massage I’ve ever had. Sorry I wasted my money very disappointed

Great place for an hour foot massage. They start at your head and work their way down one side to your feet, then they work their way back up. Then they have you turn over and massage your back, starting with the neck and shoulders, all the way down to your fingertips. Be aware that they do some deep stretching, so you might want to stretch before going. I left feeling relaxed and happy. They did get me to purchase a package of 4 hour long foot massages with reflexology for $100 before I left. This has got to be the greatest price around.

I went in asking for a neck chair massage and he convinced me to get a full body. All I wanted was the knots In my neck and shoulders massaged out. But I ended up getting the worse most rough un relaxing massage. It was awful. I said ouch a lot and I also let her know that I have a torn meniscus in my knee and to not touch. to which she ended up hurting. Terrible experience. I’ll never go back. I wish I could be my money back. And they didn’t even get my knots out of my neck or shoulders. Super upset.

My mother, sister and myself called to see if there was a 3:30pm appointment for us 3. They said to come at 4:10. We arrive at 4:10 and they tell us to come back at 5:00 because they have 3 people there for a 4:00 appointment and the person we spoke with was the wrong location. We confirmed the phone number we called is theres and said 5:00 doesnt work and wed like our money back for the $100 prepaid massage card we had. He argued that he would only give us $90. We said no we paid $100, it says $100 on the card and we will be getting $100 back. He then told us to wait one or two minutes several times as he took care of other people. He continued to argue that he would only give us $90 back until I threatened a bad review, twenty minutes after wasting our time. He gave us our $100 as should have been done to begin with and told us to leave. Horrible business practice and disrespectful the entire process. I should not have to threaten a review for proper business.

Had a 30 min body + 30 min foot massage for $45. Got a personal room for me and my wife. Total $90 for both of us. Was totally worth the money. This also included a free hot stone massage. The place is clean and music was nice and comforting. Dont expect fancy treatments like a warm robe etc. (Maybe if u pay more, not sure). Minor language issues as the folks were not very fluent in english. So make sure what you want in advance by looking at their site or their full menu board at the spa place. They also have a $28 foot massage ( which also covers some neck and back too). I am going to try that next time.So if u want a nice affordable massage and you really dont care about lot of extra pampering, I would certainly recommend this place.

I came in for a 60 minute foot massage and was treated to their version of a full-body massage, which involved a quick, hurtful experience, and not what I wanted. At one point I tried to ask why I was taking my shirt off for a foot massage, but no one listened (or understood) me. Overall, not a fan and would not go back.

The way these therapists are trained is phenomenal! I love the hot packs that they put under my lower back, i love the price, and i love the convenience of calling 30 mins before and being told the actual time I’ll have to wait if they can’t get me in right away. The staff is professional and the space is clean.

I just moved to the area and wanted top fond a great spot for a massage. I received the 60 min groupin deal and Nancy was my masseuse. She did such a good job!! With the perfect pressure Ill be back again for sure

I went with my sister and her best friend in the middle of the day on a Monday or Tuesday. No wait. We opted for the hour and a half foot reflexology treatment (you also get a short neck, shoulder, arm and back massage). We were in the common space for the reflexology, with about 6-8 chairs. All the employees had on a uniform polo shirt which was nice to see.My sisters friend was next to me and I was on the end. She and I both had guys and my sister had a lady work on her. The guy who was massaging my sisters friend was breathing SO heavy. She said she was borderline uncomfortable with her masseuse and thought it was me at first (ha). We definitely teased her about the guyss heavy breathing when we left. My sister was on the other side and also could hear him. It was honestly a little distracting.My masseuse asked if Id like massage oil on the back and shoulder portion of the massage. I said I would. This required some wardrobe shifting and I ended up removing my top and unclasping my bra. I didnt really care, and I didnt feel uncomfortable with it - nothing I wouldnt do at the beach to avoid the strap tan line, but some people might. My front was never exposed and he was professional with the massage.While Id probably go back I dont know if Id go alone.

Service was very professional and very therapeutic. Surroundings were impeccably clean in a quiet, soothing atmosphere. Definitely worth the Groupon which they accepted immediately with no issues. I definitely will be back and soon!

I have no idea why they think its oke to have 8 people in the same room. How is that normal?Everything feel pretty muggy in there and you cant communicate with them. The only person talking English is at the front desk. The force they apply is to much and you cant even tell them to be easier on you cause they dont understand. Then you get to pay and they want you to tip more than 20%. Kept asking couple times is that all you want to tip for 3 people. Well its 20% so yes, thats how much I want. Its not my fault I bought it through groupon and ended up finding out that is cheaper to actually buy it directly there. Bad marketing, not a good experience and definitely not worth to visit.

Hands down the greatest deep tissue massage I have ever had in my life. Totally affordable!! And the foot massage, which includes much more than the foot, was ONLY $28 for an hour!! I am new to this area and I have already found the only place I will go to massage.

Hot stone oils. Hot towels. Stretching and full body massage $28. 90 minute combo was wonderful. Mary was awesome. She can be rough but I didnt blackout like I thought I was about to do when she was using her knees on my shoulders. lol

I’ve now been twice and enjoyed myself both times. It’s not upscale but it is well worth the cost and each time I leave feeling better and much more relaxed!

I purchased a groupon for an hour foot massage! My foot massage was amazing! I had only experienced a foot massage one other time in my life and I feel so refreshed after. Lilly did a wonderful job she took her time to work on my head and face and neck, then from shoulders to arms and hands. Then she really worked with my feet really well which was awesome because im a distance runner it felt so good! Then Lilly worked on my legs up to my knee. I then flipped over and she again worked on my neck shoulders abit of the upper back and even alittle bit of my butt. I guess it was needed with all the running I do. Overall an amazing job and experience!

First off service wasn’t great they were too rough, they didn’t speak English so they didn’t understand me. They kept talking in their language throughout my whole 1 hour massage so I wasn’t relaxed at all! And to top it off they demanded a tip!

The woman that was giving the massage left the room. 3 or 4 times during the massage and she was on my spine and used too much pressure.

This place is small but private and comfortable. It is also quite and relaxing. For 28.00 for an hour I would say not a bad experience for the price. I would definitely go back.

Every time Ive gone it has been amazing. They definitely know what they are doing and I feel so refreshed after. I plan on going back.
