CHECK YOUR TRANSACTIONS!! Ive read the reviews and didnt pay it no mind. Thats where I messed up. I was there for almost and hour and they charged me almost 400 Dollars total. With only a few drinks. Not coming back here ever.

Had a great time out at Brixs Lounge. The crowd was hype and down to party. The music was diverse with a mixture of hip-hop, Reggaeton, Latin pop Queued in with electronic dance loops. I was in the VIP section, which was well regulated by security, and had a fly ambiance. All the hostesses had professional attitudes when taking orders. The owner was respectable and makes it a point to provide he patrons with an exquisite experience. All members of the security were assertive, professional and approachable; there was a situation where a young lady passed out in the parking lot after club hours. I went over to assist her and security didnt hesitate to immediately secure the perimeter, we located her friends and the young lady was able to get home safe. Thoughtful individuals if you ask me, because they couldve just called the police and got her hauled off to jail. Therefore, all in all I would definitely give Brixs Lounge a 5 star rating, because I was able to party and enjoy myself and felt safe and respected while doing so. What more would you want out of a club.

Tried going to this club last night. Literally got Groped by the Security. The way he search me was beyond my expectations. I’ve never been searched like that before this night. Felt Grossed out immediately and Left. Plus the Surcharge was $20. Left and went to another Bar down the Street where I wasn’t groped and Harassed by a Certain type of Security. Never going here ever again. Security should follow standards like everyone else. Even with men.

Had a great time this weekend on Halloween for my first time there , met the security manager he guided me to the restrooms I didn’t know where they were, such a nice professional.Guy with a great attitude.

Paid $20 to get in thinking it was gonna live up through the night. Their Facebook posting are overrated and this wasnt my first visit there sucks.

Nice place to have a drink and dance.I love the variety of music played here, the djs always get down.

The lounge was great! I had a blast with my girls there in VIP with Missy! She was sweet, fun, always on top of our drinks, and was super sociable! Brix is where you should be when you are looking for a great night out with friends, or even by yourself! So many people to engage with, its sure to be a good time!

Went there for the first time everything was ok ....I happened to go again and the server never gave me my debit card back, I didn’t realize it until my sister mentioned it and he didn’t give my sisters hers either..he kept saying he did give it to us ...ended up having my sisters but not mine and when I asked him where did he find my sisters card he got all upset talking about “I’m trying to help you” and didn’t tell us where he had my sisters card that he found it ..... I never got my card back! And they are probably doing this to other people thinking that they are drunk trying to come up on debit cards....Be careful if you’re paying with your card and make sure you get it back and check your transactions!Also, and update on my card....a random guy messaged me on Facebook saying he “found” my card at a club I’ve never went to 3 days later ( how tf did he know exactly how I looked?)and the guy looked just like the one that was charging at the club...so my thoughts are he tried to use my card but I locked it and said he “found it”...some bullshit ....don’t pay with card at tht club...can’t even trust some of the employees.

There is no point in having security if things are going to happen the way they did last night. I got sucker punched while dancing with friends and security did nothing but protect the man who hit me and his friends. Not only that but my friend was thrown out after confronting the group. All this happened because they wanted to steal my hat and assaulted me for it. Looks like Ill never get back my grandfather that past aways hat. What a horrible group of cowards and worthless bouncers. I will never come back here and I hope the lawless wasteland that is this nightclub loses the property

I would appreciate you taking your business away from Northwest Bakersfield if you let your security handling your clients the way they did in that video. Maybe next time get a background check on the people you hire instead of hiring criminals. Shame you had to bring bad publicly to an area that is quiet and family orientated. I really hope your business is moved far away or removed permanently!

Taco Tuesday was off the hook! Staff was really friendly and made sure me and my group were well taken care of. Definitely looking forward to going back for Throwback Thursday.

Not going to lie security is a bit uptight and it is a bit crowded but for what it was not too bad

Brix is a joke. You have security that is too aggressive. They think its a game to be aggresive to other men. 3 security guards jumped my friend for no reason. He tried to come into VIP with me, they told him no, my friend walked off with his fiance and then the short Hispanic security guard FOLLOWED him and kept asking him if they had a problem. My friend said no and kept it moving. The security guard then swung on my friend and 2 other security guards jumped in to fight him as well instead of DETAINAING and REMOVING him like its their job to do. Your security is a disgrace.

They give you the liquor open with out letting you know and they charge you $40 tip if you pay with a credit card also with out notice. The place is too small.

Trying to book a VIP table is horrible... I tried contacting the one phone number they have for over a week to plan an event and they never responded. Got someone to go on Facebook and put in a request and still no response. It’s a nice place but professionalism needs to be demonstrated.

A bunch of racist securities. It is the worst club a have ever been to. Go to 1933 club its as way cleaner and have respectful security. Shame on u. In addition of that, you will see so many gangsters there, its not safe at all.

My group had so much fun the staff was great the bar manager was awesome he was checking on us making sure we were good and having a great time we will for sure be back !! ❤️

Horrible been here numerous times and when i come alone have no problem getting in ...but if i bring a male they will not let us in and claim its dress code and the dress code is different everytime ...ive also watched security assault a female because her boyfriend was fighting even tho she had nothing to do with the fight ...they grabbed her hair covered her mouth and dragged her out quickly

Security was great on Halloween weekend they were patrolling the parking lot

The security guard try to prohibited me from going to my car like he is anything else than a simple worker the worst coustumer service by security, theres better places to go spend money

Was told it was 20 for men 10 for women paid for me and my wife which I was told the total was 30 the club was supposed to close at 2 instead of 2 they made us leave at 1 and when I got home checked my transaction history I seen he charged me 37 dollars instead of the 30 he told me guy stole a whole extra 7 dollars dont pay with your card for anything at this place cash is recommended so they cant overcharge u and steal your money wont be going back

They have no in and outs which is lame because I needed to put my jacket in the car and go grab my cigarettes so idk about you but for 10 for cover and 8 doller a drink is a bit much thanks no thanks first time and might be my last

Dont go to this place and if you do make sure you dont used your debit card. They over charge you. They charge me 5 different transactions and i was there for only 45min.

Showed up to this place on Cinco de mayo on a Saturday and this place was not open nor didnt seem open. There was no cars in the parking lot. I also showed up during apparent working hours.

Its obvious the security is (RACIST) the owner needs to fire him quickly......its not far long before patrons find a next spot they r not treated disrespectfully

It was good to spend a good time, it is not a place to keep a conversation the music is so loud but it is good

The owner is someone well respected and liked first time was a wonderful experience and a great time

They are very terrible here , security beats people up and the owner will even let them ! This is the most ghetto bar in town hands down I will never go againPlease leave Bakersfield ! And don’t ever try to run a business again

Be careful while paying with your card at this place, I got charged twice for cover charge and the bartenders will add themselves a tip on your receipt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
