Osaka Wellness Massage

I have had many massages at Osaka but have never read the reviews or left a review. I was pretty horrified by some of the reviews I just read. Ive had a great massage every time. The place is clean and the therapists always do their best to get all the knots. Yes the therapists dont have great english but the prices are great and I can always get in.I dont pay or tip in advance. But I have been to many Asian massage places and when youre a new client some will ask for payment in advance because they dont want to end up giving you a free massage. I always tip 20% and I feel that is the fair thing to do. These ladies work hard and if you cant afford to pay for the massage and tip you should go stay home.Lily gave me a great 90 minute massage today. She was thoughtful kind and caring.

I will never come back here. I called in advance making sure they had a 4 hand massage appointment available. She told me to just walk in. So I did, had to pre pay so I did. She took me into the room, started working on me and realized for the first 10-15 minutes it was only her. Then the second person came in but she only did the bare minimum. I didn’t even get to see who she was or what she looked like when she started working on me. They talked in a different language the whole time, so wasn’t really peaceful. Towards the end of the massage, she demanded a tip. $60 each, when I knew she was the owner. She tried telling me that the boss takes all the money. Why would I tip someone when it wasn’t a truly 4 hand massage, I didn’t see who was working on me, have the other person be 10-15 minutes late, all while the second person was just working on my legs with light pressure. She kept demanding a tip before I was able to get dressed to leave. I will never come back here. I don’t know how you guys remain open.

I had a wonderful experience with the massage therapist. Yvonne was exceptionally kind, attentive to my comfort, and adjusted the pressure according to my preferences, resulting in a deeply relaxing massage. I left feeling rejuvenated and invigorated, and I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a skilled and personable massage therapist.

Reserved a 30 min foot massage, got there early and didnt do the foot massage, just regular massage (language barrier). The massage lady walked in and out of my room while I was in there naked with the door open. While giving me the massage she kept coughing and even blew her nose and kept massaging without washing her hands. Went to leave and demanded a tip from my mom (I paid for hers for Mothers Day- today) and then said it wasnt enough when my mom handed her over 10%. NOT SANITARY AND RUDE

The lady who did my massage was lovely she was very soft spoken, kind and helped me relax. Great staff. Very welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Very good service! I got 60min session and it was incredible. All pain disappeared. The skilled and certified masseuses take care of hygiene very well.

I spent $40 on a massage and then they demand an extra $40 for a tip, They take my money when Im in need, man they some rip offs, dont go there please. P.S. Mandatory 15% tip that they will tell you after service not before

Was not too pleased with the service here. I had called in for an appointment at 6:30 pm. I was asked to wait in a room and thats it. Didnt see or hear from anyone. 15 minutes later I stepped out and a woman made me go back into the room and wait. The massage started at 7 pm.I asked for a hot stone massage. The stones were Definitely NOT hot. It was kinda warm. The masseuse kept talking and asking a lot of questions, didnt like that. Can we not discuss what I do for work and my career choices all through the massage?I didnt feel very relaxed when I left so not too keen on going back there.

I would not even give this one star if I could. First, it was $40 for 30 minutes prepaid, yet she charged my card $42. I figured that was a tip so I didn’t make a stink. I told her my neck and shoulders were having the issues, but she did not focus on that area. She was quite harsh in places and when I flinched several times, she just told me to relax. Yeah, right. When I prepared to leave, she stood near the door and told me I owed her a tip. I started to fish around in my purse and she demanded $10, saying that was 30% and her boss takes the money and she only gets paid tips. I told her that was a lie and that she was the owner as I had done a bit of research; a fact she did not deny. I also told her that tips were at the discretion of the customer and certainly not a requirement. She muttered some words in Chinese and I went around her and out the door. Never again and I would hope others would think twice about patronizing this shady establishment.

This was honestly a terrible experience. I bought a Groupon voucher online and had a appointment set up for 730. I was excited to get my 60 minute massage till I pulled up and right away it was sketchy. The doors and windows are all covered with advertisements. I walked in and right away it was dark and creepy. This lady walked up to me and could barely speak any English and it was hard trying to pay. She put me in this bar room and I hear this man walk in and ask for a 30 min massage. She came back to my room and said I had to wait another 30-40 mins. I was livid and honestly just uncomfortable. I left and didn’t come back. I was also undressing and she just walked right in. Please don’t waste your money here like I did.

Scheduling is easy, and there massage therapists are simply amazing.

Before I mention anything, this place is run by a singular person, who doesnt exactly have the best english but they try their best and try to be cordial and pleasant. Do not expect massage envy service as it is ran by only one person and they are trying their best to deal with the number of people that come in. Only come in if you have a lot of extra time.With that said, I will say that I enjoy being able to just walk in and not have to worry about making appointments, the massage therapist is very thorough and firm and has a particular but similar way they massage that I do not find other therapists in the area using. If your massage is too light/too firm, they will understand if you say so and modify their technique. The atmosphere is relaxing and it ultimately can be a good experience. For a place thats starting up, I think its on a good path they just need easier communication and more help. I cannot stress the help part enough as people can just walk in and get massages just like that, I expect that there will be times where rushes come in and the one to two massage therapists just cant handle it all without putting people on hold as I mentioned prior.Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Sophia is amazing!! She goes as deep or gentle as you want. I feel so much better. She is kind and thorough! Place is odd when you go in compared to other massage places but dont let that fool you. The massage was amazing! Thankyou!

Bawled my eyes out in the ER because i was in so much severe pain the day after the massage in my back that it hurt to breathe, i couldnt lift my arms or get out of bed on my own- and im in my 20s. my muscles they said are extremely tight and spasming and it could be a reaction to an improper technique. plus halfway through the massage the lady asked me if i wanted more time- leading me to believe it was over but then i found out they asked me 30 mins into a 60 minute massage. i felt very manipulated. ive been one other time and it was another woman and she pulled my hair very hard as part of a scalp massage i didnt ask for, and she used her bare feet on my back at the end. i was grossed out but figured id give this place another chance, it was a mistake. my back has never hurt like this before. i spent more on the massage than i will on the ER bill. waste of $200 between the two, im in so much pain

One person runs this but there are multiple rooms? Where you place your face down on the table the sheet was cut with scissors or a knife. My backside was exposed at times and my massage was not even nor did it include my legs or feet. It was dark and cold. The bathroom was disgusting. I was never required to sign any paperwork and to be honest I got scared.This is an absolute no. I am not sure if this is even a real place.

I have had quite a few different massage therapists over the years, some who I considered to be quite skilled at helping to relieve tension in my back and shoulders, I came here with my girlfriend for a couples massage off a whim when she saw they were going to be opening soon and had a groupon. I can easily say that I have found a new winner for best massage therapist and will definitely be returning regularly in the future.

I called to schedule a massage After driving from Cedar Rapids Iowa. I Tell them I’ll be there in 20 minutes. They say OK. I arrive and they tell me they’re closed for the night and to go away in poor English. I explained that I took a taxi to get here, She told me to leave.

I was having a really bad day dealing with stressed out muscles and tension. It is impossible to get a message last minute at other places in the area, but they had me in withing the hour and it was the best massage. I will be back for sure! Fantastic!!!

Very good Thai-style massage with joint stretches. One the best hand massages Ive ever had.
