Massage Oasis

The lady that answered the phone was friendly and helpful when I called and made an appointment. They had open availability and the hours of operation are very convenient as is the location. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming and comfortable for the most part. The massage was a solid, decent massage. When I arrived I was greeted and welcomed immediately. Another lady came in and showed me to the massage room and where the restroom was…when I came out of the restroom , another lady escorted me to the massage room but did not introduce herself so say anything so I walked down the hall and asked if they were ready for me to change and lay on the massage bed. She said yes then knocked not even 60 seconds later to see if I was ready. I said not yet, one moment. Then she walked back in a couple of minutes later without knocking to make sure I was ready. I felt the communication could have been better. Furthermore, we did not start promptly at my appointment time yet ended right on the hour so I was not massaged for the full one hour. Other than that, it was a good and pleasant experience and I will definitely be back to give them another try.

Not a fan of being ripped of to be frank. I called and made an appointment for 2 o’clock for a 60 minute massage. When i walked in i was reading over the difference between the deep tissue and the basic massage and in the deep tissue they’re supposed to walk on your back. i didn’t want that, but wasn’t asked at all what service i wanted, that’s how she got me. When i walked in i wasn’t greeted at all and was ushered to the back. As someone who’s never had a massage before, when she walked me to the room she silently shut the door behind me…i stood there for a few seconds confused with how undressed i should be and when i peaked my head out, no one was there. The door was left open during half of it which made me extremely uncomfortable and was left open at the end as well, i had to get up off the table with a sheet around my top half to go shut the door… what the hell! When i walked to the front at the end she charged me 80$, which was the deep tissue price and when i looked at the receipt i asked “we did a deep tissue?” and she responded with “uhh yeah” …girl no we didn’t. i tipped her less than normal because she still spent and hour massaging me, but i was ripped off and she knew i knew it yet didn’t offer to fix it. This is NOT the place you want to go for a massage.

I went to have a massage today with a friend. We both did the Pampering Package and it did not disappoint! The price itself was a great selling point, but being able to get a appointment so soon was even better! I would come again and recommend.

The owner is very good at massage. However, the staff is lacking. It doesn’t seem like she can keep consistent employees but the ones that I’ve experienced have been mediocre at best. Is pressure at completion of service to leave her a tip for $20 I’ve seen that on other post and I can firsthand say that it is absolutely true. She may as well include $20 in the price because that’s what she expects. Overall I used this location for about three months, there were times when I felt like it was a complete waste of money and at the times when she did my massage it was decent. Eventually I decided to just go with a different Company with better prices and more consistent. Massage therapist in the area.

This is by far the best massage place! I got a full/slightly over 60 minute deep tissue massage for only $70. The massage was so thorough and professional. The technique was the best technique Ive experienced in a long time.Additionally, I was the last customer of the evening (came in 45 minutes before close on a Friday). I felt so rude for coming in so late, but my body was just so achy and tense. Regardless, they were so kind and accommodating. They did not rush me or reduce the quality of the massage. I will definitely be coming back!

This is by far my favorite place to get a massage in Birmingham. I usually get a 2 hour deep tissue massage. The prices are incredible! *cues dance party.Every time I come in, I walk out floating on clouds. I do extensive exercise, so massages are much needed at a minimum of once a month for me.The stress build-up and past trauma that manifested in my body throughout this journey does not stand a chance against the magical hands these women have.The entire experience is relaxing, and they stretch every single muscle.. VERY professional, extremely clean, and soothing. I can not thank you enough, Massage Oasis, for being a part of my healing journey and over all well being. I have not gotten any services here but that’s because they are so unorganized about booking appointments. I called a week in advance, told them I’d like to schedule an appointment for the next weekend for a couples massage. She took my first name and date and time. There was something that was a little uneasy about it. Well, Friday came and I wanted to confirm my appointment. I called and a lady answered that was talking very low and I was unable to understand her. I told her why I called and she told me she would have to call me back. Very unprofessional. I finally got a call back 3 hours later and I told her that their services were no longer needed as I had found a mor reliable, professional spa. The whole thing seems very suspect.

My friends and I planned a girls trip on yesterday. The service and the massage was phenomenal!!!!! We each had a 60min massage for $70! Great price! This place did not disappoint. Not to mention, it was 7 of us and EVERY LADY WAS BEYOND SATISFIED!

I am 51 years old and never had a massage and I had a great experience at Oasis. After a call to the friendly staff I finally talked myself into going for my first massage. The staff was just as friendly and professional in person. To this newcomer they made me feel comfortable and at ease. Highly recommend at least for the first visit. I myself will be back.

My wife and I arrived from out of town after a day of driving. Lisa was my wifes therapist and Vicky was mine. We both have pretty much the same comments- these are two excellent massage therapists we would give them 10 out of 5 stars if we could- and we have had countless massages. They are strong without over doing it. They ask questions to make sure you enjoy your experience but dont talk too much. Most of all, their techniques are beyond the scope of other therapists, to the extent that I asked them where they were trained. They truly have worked very hard on their craft and it shows! Honestly this is as good as massage gets. We wish every massage we get was like this- they raise the bar on quality of massage for us! Thanks Ladies we will be back!

A family member took me there today for my birthday. Enjoyed the experience. This was my very first massage. When it was time to pay at the end my fee was $140. I attempted to pay that amount. Then I was pressed to pay a tip. Since it was my birthday my guest offered to take care of the tip for the both of us. Butttt they could not understand English so the guy was angry thinking I wasn’t going to tip so I pulled $10 out of my purse. The guy that did my massage was so angry that it was only $10 he pushed my $10 away and walked off yelling. Which I was really shocked about. They should have signs up or options for the percentage added to the ticket or just add the gratuity to the bill if they want a certain amount. My family member and I had appointments set for 2pm for 2 hours. Once we got there we were told one of us could do 90 mins and the other could do 2hours .I was ready to go then because of this inconvenience but we decided to stay. My family member was very ashamed that she recommended this place..so she decided not to leave a tip because of the way I was treated on my first experience on my birthday . Last I checked you tip based off of your experience, and based off of his attitude he didn’t deserve anything so nobody tipped. Then the owner and anna came running behind us like we forgot something we in the car at this point. Guess what they wanted??? TIP $$$$$. We explained to the owner what happened she said Anna didn’t do anything she need her Tip. Not gonna lie i wast going to give them 1 cent my guest tipped 20 she said Anna did do a great job it’s just that we were so upset how this man pushed my hand back with my money in my hand. The owner need to teach her employees how to treat customers. The owner offered to give a discount if we come back but not sure if we will.Sha & Kim

I have had wonderful massages at Oasis massage. Lisa is nice and seems like she really cares that her customers gets a good massage. Plus she does back walk massage and fire cupping which really helps my sore back. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

The service was great however don’t expect me to leave a tip when the prices are already high yes a good job deserves a good tip but don’t expect me to leave one I will leave one if I want to, very upset that the owner got a attitude with me when I was leaving or trying to make me leave a tip a tip is optional not a must never going back.

I got my massage here yesterday by Ana , I think she’s the owner . I’m very pleased . Very clean place . Cozy . It’s only 10 minutes from where I live . I will definitely come back . I enjoyed the massage very well . She been doing it long experience as I asked her .

I went for a deep tissue massage this past weekend and this place is the truth. It was hassle free from the start. I didn’t have to fill out pages of information as if I was at the doctors office before my massage started. She focused on my problems areas from head to toe. The only complaint I have is that I would’ve like for her to use more massage oil to keep the fluency of the strokes but other than that, you should check them out if you’re looking for a good massage.

I set an appointment for my husband to get a much needed massage with feet rub. He said that the facilities was clean and he really enjoyed the massage and foot rub. The whole experience was good until the end where he was pressured into giving a $20 tip which is why the Oasis received the 3 star rating. Even a $10 tip was not sufficient for them. They haggled him til he upped it to $20.

Best massage ever! I called last minute on a Saturday and they were able to get me in right away! No hassle at all and Vicki was amazing! She asked me my target areas and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied! I highly recommend them!

This is the WORST massage I have ever had!!!!!! They charged us $180 for 1 hour of massage each but these two lady were just touching our skin and NOT DOING ANYTHING!!! The WORST WORST WORST place ever!!!! Also one of the lady talked soooooooooo much and won’t shut up! She wasn’t even trying! This has nothing to do with the lady being old. I had multiple people gave me 60mins+ that’s the same age or ever older than them and they did an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE JOB!!!! These people should not be earning this much!! I had multiple massage in LA and they are around 30-35 dollars for 1hour+, I don’t mind paying $80 but it needs to be the same or I don’t even mind they are not as good in comparison. But this place is so bad I feel I won’t even pay $10 for it. I also take to take a shower again once I get home because the stuff they were using, she put some stuff on my face and just rubbed in I had to tell her to stop the way she was doing I’m sure it’s not good for my skin and I had rush all over my face!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IN THE WORLD THIS PLACE HAS GOOD REVIEWS!! They are all fake!!!!!

I just finished my massage with Michael and my goodness it was amazing! 5/5 Stars! The massage was amazing from scalp to toe (yes, including a scalp massage) 😊 . He made sure I was comfortable and was attentive to my needs.

I work as an ICU nurse and started to develop more tension and tightness in my low back, neck and shoulders. I called to see if they would take a walk-in appt and they did. I had a great experience and feel so much better after the massage and cupping. I plan to come here more often in the future.

Ive been to most massage places around here and surrounding counties and this one is by far the best!They are experienced in reflexology and arent just passing the time by. I visit them often because I have a chronic pain condition and they really help me manage my pain. It is a wonderful, relaxing experience! They are hands down the best!!! Perfect, Everytime!!!

Every-time my boyfriend and I have made an appointment it has always been the easiest - extremely fast responses and flexible schedules. The massage itself is beyond amazing. Pretty rough experience. I got a deep tissue. Vicky was awkward but effective. She also was not mindful of my most intimate body parts and at times touched my private area. I could tell it wasnt intentional so I didnt stress too much over it.But Im assigning 1 star because of my experience at check out. I tipped $10 on my card and she frowned. I asked what was the matter, and she motioned her finger up, and said more. When I asked for clarification of what she was trying to tell me, she used her fingers again, but this time signing the number 2. I confirmed that she wanted a $20 tip and politely declined. I did not give her the $20 she requested. Also, I thought this was terribly inappropriate.

Today was my first time at Oasis. Ive lived in Birminham area over a year and was in need of massage. Oasis has Great prices so I booked an appointment. Other salons in this area are a bit pricey & I prob wouldve received only half the massage therapy because THIS WAS THE MOST THOROUGH MASSAGE OF MY LIFE. I will definitely be back & got more than my moneys worth.Thank you!

Very easy to get an on the spot/last minute appointment. Very kind staff and you get every second you pay for. 60mins means the full 60mins. Not like most other places where you pay for 60mins and only get 50mins. Not to mention its affordable. I highly recommend this locations.
