I am so happy that I recently found Birmingham Massage Couple. I have severe plantar fasciitis in one foot and also have bad hip pain and Jane did an amazing job with my therapy. This was my first visit and Im not gonna lie, she dug in pretty hard but it was just what I needed and very well worth it. I will definitely be going back. The whole team is very professional as well and made me feel welcome. They are all really nice and I liked the facility and spa rooms. Highly recommend!

I had an awesome experience. If this is your first time call to find the building because, I got lost. The facility was clean and gave you a cozy feeling. The staff welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. The massage room and waiting are look a bit dated but that wont stop me from returning. I enjoyed my experience! My boyfriend and I visited to do their couples massage. This was his first massage ever and it had been 5+ years since I had one. Let’s just say Mason and Lori did not disappoint! I called Birmingham Massage Couple because I woke up one morning sore and unable to turn my neck. I saw the ratings were good and they were available on the weekends and later hours than most places. I have a few injuries in my neck, shoulder/rotator and ankle so I have to be careful where I go to get a massage. I called and asked for some advice about who may have experience with injuries. Tom was very helpful and told me he was booked up on the day I wanted an appointment but Lori would be able to help. Lori did a great job! After my massage I could immediately feel a difference. I was able to move my neck and felt much better. After my appointment, Tom took time to talk with me to see how he can also help me get mobility with my ankle injury at a future date. I appreciated him make a point to talk to me in between his other appointments. I will be going back!

The place was spotlessly clean. The massage room was well appointed and comfortable.Jane was my massage therapist. I have had some great massages over the years but Janes may have been the best ever. She took time to ask me what type of massage I preferred. She asked about where I may be experiencing pain or tightness. She asked about previous injuries of other known problem. She listened and adjusted immediately if she was using a pressure level other that what I preferred. She worked on a place in my upper back where I was complaining of pain and stiffness. When she started working on that area she used strong pressure about which I whined a little. She let up on the pressure a little to let me adjust to what she was doing then when I told her I was ok with it she used enough pressure that it hurt a little but I could already feel the tension in that area relaxing.Overall her worked was just about perfect. When I left the shop I found that I was having new pain in my lower back which resolved completely overnight. The next day the pain in my upper back was gone. I felt generally much less stressed. I had been feeling achy all over and that was gone the next day. My upper back had been tense and hurting for a couple of weeks which was already significantly better right away but the next day it was gone completely and stayed gone.If you want a high quality massage in a clean, comfortable, friendly environment I suggest you get to Birmingham Massage Couple and ask for Jane immediately.

I have been seeing Tom for some flexibility issues in my hips and trigger points in my shoulder/back area. All I can say is Tom is AWESOME at what he does! I can tell a BIG difference already! Tom has some great training and knowledge that can definitely help you. I looked for some time to get some help with these issues that originated from a work injury. All the PT I did for these injuries (after 2 surgeries) knotted up my back and shoulders. Toms work has helped my back and shoulders tremendously (also my tight hip area due to sitting long periods)!!! I highly recommend them (especially Tom) to anyone! The other staff that I have met there have all been very nice. Go see them!

After years of massage and chiropractic care I am shocked at the difference Tom was able to make in just the first visit. Literally melted away an issue I have had for 15 years or more! As a mid-50s part-time athlete I am in constant need of realignment, and Tom is a master at this! Highly recommended, especially for athletes and weekend warriors who need help keeping your body in the right condition to stay in the game!

Mason was not into the massage at all. It was like asking your child to do something and they did the bare minimum. His skill level was poor. I honestly felt like I was getting a massage from a kid; just taping on me. It was not worth $195 for a couples massage. We could have waited until we got back home to Tennessee, but we were on vacation and trying to relax. He was running his fingers through his hair majority of the time. His noise was running and he kept wiping it and sniffing. He used no oil at all, so the feel of touch was very dry. I honestly felt like he really didn’t want to do it.

Our first couples massage at this location but not our last! Love the calming quiet and totally relaxing atmosphere. Even though it was a couples massage it was like I was alone. Tonya worked wonders especially for my mid-back but the whole massage was excellent. My husband has some shoulder issues do Mason provided extra attention for that. We really enjoyed ourselves and after the past two years this certainly helped reduce our stress levels.

He was very professional and attentive to my needs . Not to forget to mention the atmosphere was very soothing which made me feel very comfortable. My experience was nothing short of amazing! Brenda and Kerri were thorough with asking us questions in regards to our health, what type of massage we wanted, and made us feel comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing and calming.We did the 90 Minute Hot Stones Couple Massage, and both my husband and I agree that it was wonderful. It was for the full 90 minutes scheduled. I recommend coming in 15-20 minutes ahead of your appointment time so you can fill out the paperwork and relax, so then you can have that whole time selected dedicated to the massage or whatever service you have set an appointment for.We were not disappointed, and highly recommend them. Kerri and Brenda were friendly and professional. Everyone we came in contact with that worked there were friendly and informative about the services they provide. We will be back.

I really enjoyed this place. It felt a bit creepy trying to find it because its at the top of a hill and it seems like nothing is there. Then walking into building and going down to the bottom floor. But believe me when I say it was well worth it. I do recommend this place to anyone looking for a really great massage. I had a deep tissue massage and it was everything. A little sore the next morning as expected but it was great.

It was the first massage I have had there, and it was the best one Ive ever had. Laura did some stretching on my legs to relieve pressure on my lower back and it was great. The building is older and it is less like a spa but I am okay with that, the smells and sounds were just as pleasant, and the temp and the lighting were good too, very relaxing. The price was very reasonable for a 60 minute couple massage, best prices Ive seen. They had an opening, even on a somewhat short notice, this is because of the number of therapists they have on hand. Do not expect to walk in, they are by appointment only. The online appointment scheduler was easy to use and you can pick who you see. We will be back, and I would recommend this to anyone that wants a very good massage at a very good price

Let me begin with saying that my husband and I were more than pleased and we intend on returning regularly !! We had Andre and Melissa and they were so good that I will ask for them personally. It has been several years since I’ve had a massage so we had some reserves, as the massages were given to us as a birthday gift from my daughter. She hit the jackpot! The suite was clean and calming with modern decor. We were offered our choice of complementary wines (a welcoming touch) to help us relax. Our session room had a pre-set ambiance which spoke volumes, complete with soft lighting and acoustical guitar music. The tables were heated and the linens were soft. Andre gave instructions that answered your questions without you having to ask. Nothing was awkward or lacked professionalism. They actually think of EVERYTHING for you, including reminding you to silence your phone to prevent interruptions. The massage covered every spot and identified problem areas I didn’t know I had. Overall our experience was exceptionally outstanding. You can’t go wrong with these two clinicians. In fact, we will be purchasing gift massages for friends.

This was our first trip to Birmingham. I went online to book an appointment for a 90 min couples massage through their website. It was quick and easy. I liked that I could chose my own therapist based on availability for my requested time. We had Elizabeth and Haley. They were both fantastic! My only critique would be better directions on locating the office. Google maps took us to the right place. However, their office is located on bottom floor of the 3 story building. The building itself is on the top of a hill, so parking lot brings you in on the 3rd floor. Pricing was great for both quantity and quality. I would highly recommend.

I dont often write reviews, but I have to for Birmingham Massage Couple.This place is AMAZING! I was looking for a quality place to go for a couples massage as a gift to my husband for our one year wedding anniversary. My husband has had several massages in the past, but I had never had one, so I didnt know what to look for to determine quality (except online reviews). I looked at all the possible massage places in town, spas and otherwise. It was difficult to find a place that had an open spot for booking, which was the first issue I had. After searching and searching and being frustrated from having no luck, I stumbled on Birmingham Massage Couple, saw the five star reviews, and took the chance (they were super easy to book with). I initially booked for a 1:00 time slot on a Saturday, but I didnt see that I was booking for a time slot that wasnt available for a couples massage (which was my error). The owner called me to inform me that the time slot was not available for what I wanted, and gave me other choices. This was half an hour after I had booked online. The fact that they immediately got in touch with me was really nice. The prices were also significantly less than the other places I found, and yet they were the only place I found with a five star rating. Let me tell you...they did not disappoint! The place is nice and clean. The room was comfortable, and the massage therapists were GREAT. They took the time to ask me and husband what our trouble spots were, and they really seemed to care about our well being and how we could improve our care through massage in the future. Kerri was my massage therapist and Haley was my husbands. I have had a lot of problems with my shoulders in the past and my back is always hurting. My husband has had issues with his right shoulder for a long time. Kerri got out the knots in my back! I couldnt believe it! My husband was blissfully happy when we left, and so was I (so much so that my husband booked us another appointment two weeks later!). Let me also say that the owners are very friendly as well. They made sure we were satisfied with our massage (both times we have visited). We will be going back every month (if possible). I wish we could go once a week! I highly recommend this place and I would give it 10 stars if I could! If you want a place to get a quality massage for a more than fair price, this is the place for you! LOVE it!!!

We had a couples massage here. While it lacks the other amenities of a spa the massages were great. Andre seemed very experienced and was able to provide a good deep tissue massage. Elizabeth was also very good with her attention to detail and working out little spots.

Everyone here is super nice, kind, and you can tell they care about their patients. Brenda is amazing as is everyone else, but if you like deep tissue, Brenda is your girl! Loved this first time experience! Brenda was definitely a favorite! The space was so calming and the 60 minute couples massage was better than expected!! They are very professional and ask you specifically where youre needing the most attention. The Spa is difficult to find - you park up on this hill, then have to enter into the building, walk down 1 flight of stairs, down this hallway until you see a sign on the wall, then you walk down another flight of stairs and it is on the 1st floor.

Wife and I booked a massage on Saturday. Very welcoming and relaxing. My wife had Tom and I had Andre. Wonderful treatment and fantastic full body massage. Definitely we will be repeat clients as they helped us both immensely.

One word phenomenal .Andre and Brittany A gave my friend and I full body reset. They told me their body hasnt felt this relaxed since they were a kid. We left feeling like we were on a cloud without a care in the world. We cant wait to come back. They took care of problems in our body we didnt know we had. The owner Tom was very accommodating also and made sure we had whatever we needed. This place is a Birmingham jewel that doesnt break the pockets.

I was very pleased with my massage experience. This is the first place I have gone for a massage that truly gave a 60 minute massage. And the price cant be beat! I was having trouble with my shoulder and Kerri worked on it until it felt so much better. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be returning!

My daughter and I went to have a mother/daughter massage(couple massage). It was her first time getting a massage. She enjoyed it so much she wants to go every week lol. Melissa & Tracey are awesome & very professional !!!!!!!! We will definitely be back !!!!!

The technique was amazing and the glass of wine before hand was a nice touch. Room could have been a little warmer and the CD messed up a few times, but overall a great experience. By far, the best professional massage Ive ever had.

I had a gift certificate for a hour long massage. My massage therapist was Kerri S. and she is truly gifted!! I came in with upper back and neck tension that had been giving me trouble the week before my appointment. I left my appointment feeling like a brand new person!! Thank you Kerri!!!
