Rumba Lounge

I didn’t have food there but the drinks were not up to par. The bartender googled how to make drinks (pobrecita) which is why I gave “food” one star but it’s really meant for the drinks. The atmosphere was nice; my friend and I had so much fun dancing and the workers were pleasant.

Great place to relax and chill. Cant rate because I didnt eat but all in all had a great time 😊

Rumba is a nice comfortable spot to go to after work to wind down before heading in for the night or just to meet friends for the afternoon for HAPPY HOUR (Daily 3p-6p) for a drink or 2 or 3 lol and a light appetizer.BUT on Thursday evening they have a DJ spinning the HipHop & R&B Hits, on Friday they have Karaoke AND a DJ, then on Saturday it’s time to work those hips feet at LATIN NIGHTS!! I really enjoyed myself at their grand opening with my friends having a few good DRINKS, TASTY APPETIZERS, a lot of LAUGHS and plenty of good ENERGY!!!Thanks to the owners and staff for bringing something comfortable to the local Bristol Area.Nikki

I was so excited to go to this place because my daughter mentioned to us it was a nice club to go to. This place is not a club but a bar where you can dance. Music … I wanted to dance and I did. My husband and I have a same day birthday and we went to check this place out so we can invite our friends for our birthday celebration. My daughter talked to the owner ahead of time, her name is Paola and I asked for her but apparently she was there and she wasn’t. Very disappointed because I wanted to meet her and ask about how many people we could arrange to have our own tables and appetizers. I definitely don’t recommend this place if you want to have a birthday celebration but I could recommend it if you don’t mind dancing in a tiny room and pay for high price on drinks.Disappointed customer.Ps bartender girls were nice! Small but cozy latin vibe.a taste of latin America in Bristol,very limited drink variety, crowded for the space,decent music,chatty dj (the guy)sometimes annoying, overalls good experience close to everything...and lately..live music.. awesome Dominican band...loved the addition the club..more space and entertainment..

Music was good. The bartender (Nina, I think?) had a wonderful and inviting bubbly personality. She was fast and welcoming. The parking situation was not great, very limited and we got there pretty early in the evening. We werent jiving with the vibe of the crowd and left. Younger reguetton hookah crowd not for me, but overall good based on the short time we were there.

The male bartender was very polite and friendly. Happy hour drinks were amazing. Some staff were rude, they ID me and my friends three times while being inside already. Security was overly touchy.

Don’t believe any negative reviews it’s really friendly and service on point and music too

This place is unique treatment is A+ staff hasNever been rude the djs are all awesome and everyone is very welcoming. And if you feel overwhelmed with something don’t hesitate to reach someone within the establishment and they will accomadate you based on your needs

They need to update their hours on Google. Showed up about 7:15 PM last Saturday. Door was locked. Three employees inside just looked at us and ignored us. Didnt notice any hours posted outside. So we just left.

Make things up, owners not able to apologize and take responsibility if they are wrong. If you want to donate your hard earned money to an establishment that doesnt care about the customer, this is the place for you.

Very nice place, great atmosphere, music and food! Very clean, even the bathrooms are well kept. The staff was so friendly and professional. Loved it!

This was the worst place I’ve been to.. I been working all day and just needed a drink and the stick up owner came out for a phone and said I absolutely couldn’t come in for a drink. This is terrible for the medical field personal. Do not recommend this place at all.

The security was nice..but that owner..omg.. she was so rude..she wouldnt let me keep drinking..said I had to slow down..I mean..who says that to someone going to the bar!!! No!!

Every worker that works there are friendly and the owners are very nice people and the place and the food is very good and i will recommend people to go try it out 👍👍

All I personally had a good time with my friends, if you are into dancing 💃 🎶 & drinks 🍸 it a good place, try & you will judge.

I think Ill be here for a year, Ive never had a problem there, Paola I dont know her personally but she has always treated me with respect, yesterday a problem arose that wasnt with me, and because a former employee pushes me without For this reason, obviously I push him back because every action has its reaction, he even invites me to fight, and proceeds to tell the security to take me out and the security, without asking, takes me out, pushing me when I kept my hands up and told him I Im not touching you, the security is supposed to speak with respect and will take the two of us out if he doesnt know exactly what happened, and Im very sorry because its brutal there and theyre supposed to set an example when the owner isnt there. Thank you

Terrible service at the tables outside the bar... I spent 10 minutes waiting to be served, and then another 20 to return to take an order. This is a Thursday, I cant imagine a Saturday

The worst hangout place in CT. The security does not allow you to enter even though you are of legal age and there is capacity, they mistreat the client and the owner does not penalize this attitude. He allows his security to push and mistreat his clients.They never forced me to enter with a minor and in any case I tried to enter alone and even though the business was not full and that I am of legal age, I was denied entry, the securitys words were simple Im already tired. Then he proceeds to push me with his body, a lady and then a gentleman who far exceeds my height. They are used to dealing with drunk people and I can understand why the security is so savage, but there is no professionalism since they must keep in mind that they may receive other types of public that are not drunks and do not deserve to be mistreated. This is not the first comment with complaints about security, you should check, something is not right.

More varied music, only techno and others, less merengue salsa, you have to vary more, the place is great but the same music all night 🙄
