Elan salon is amazing. I have had several mani/pedi’s here as well as a couple massages and everything has been exceptional. Angela gives the best manicures I have ever received; a regular manicure lasted without chipping for almost four weeks!! See proof - the hot pink nails photo is after 3.5 weeks, very little chipping. The pale pink / nude nails is the brand new manicure. Can’t recommend this salon enough!

This place was so great! Just a little salon, but checks all the great boxes that make a great salon and spa. I bought a package that included a massage, facial, mani, and pedi. All of the services were in the top tier of my experiences, which have been pretty varied with all of the travel I do. Everything was clean, the service and people were welcoming, and they scheduled my services in perfect order to ensure that I could enjoy each. The pricing was very reasonable too, especially for New York. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

I am delighted with my experiences at Elan Salon & Day Spa. Making an appointment is simple via online or by calling. Ive been particularly happy with my electrolsis. Eliza is thorough in removing hairs and what a difference it has made! I would recommend Eliza for anyone looking for a permanent hair removal solution.

Just came out of here from doing facial that cost $135. This was one of the laziest facials I’ve ever gotten. Extractions were fine but my facialist couldn’t answer questions about what products she was using on my face. The steamer was burning hot and she didn’t know how to fix it. She used cleanex tissues ( same ones you use to blow your nose) to wipe water off my face leaving tissue particles on my face. At the end of the facial she didn’t apply a serum, eye cream or sun screen- just toner and moisturizer. I didn’t leave the facial feeling fresh and rejuvenated. She didn’t help me learn anything new about my skin. This might be a one off experience but I left really disappointed and I do not plan on returning. My partner also got a facial done here at the same time and he was fine with his experience.

Pretty disappointed with my haircut.First, during the haircut my earring was ripped out of my ear.Second, i was asked if i want to thin my hair and I said no. And then was asked again. I said no again.Third, the hairdresser ended with “I’m sure most people don’t know how to handle your hair” what does that mean.I have pretty curly hair and it’s thick. This was one of worst experiences

Recently came in to get a facial. The room and atmosphere was excellent. I ended up doing dermaplaning with a gentle glycolic peel. However, all the products that are used for the facial are from Eminence Organic Skin Care. It looks like a good brand, however they have a lot of fragrance additives that ended up being very irritated to my skin. I have relatively sensitive skin and these products were definitely a no go. Something to keep in mind if you are considering a facial. If it wasn’t for the products I would definitely go back.

I got a CBD pedicure + massage with Eliza, such a great way to de stress after a long work day. She’s also very kind and so diligent! Highly recommend!

I have had wonderful massages from Pepi who is in tune with my body. She relieves my muscles from the workouts and running and understands how to get everything in sync. Fantastic. The Best.Eliza does my nails to perfection. She takes good care of my hands and sends me away thinking of my new career as a hand model. Great sense of humor also. The Best.

Ive been a customer of Elan for many years. The space is always clean, comfortable and welcoming. I love the eyelash and eyebrow tint for summer and vacations or just to have that pretty no make up look. The aestheticians are caring and skilled. I have also had great facials with top quality products ( Eminence) and excellent pedicures that last for months! All the staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. This salon has true value and services have exceeded my expectations.

This spot is the best! Been coming for years it’s so hard to find a spot that’s good at so many things. I never really have to wait, it’s always clean and very calming. I have never had a faster or less painful wax than with Eliza she’s a wizard- I barely even know what’s happening and then it’s done. She’s also just a delight. Then the hair!!! Andis is the BEST I always put off getting a haircut, until well past the time I should have gotten one, because I’m super picky and could never find someone who did it well and wasn’t stupid far away. Then I found Andis who has true vision. I will no longer put off my haircuts as long as he’s around 10/10

It is always a pleasure at this salon. I get everything done here: waxing, facials, nails, haircuts, color, EVERYTHING. I take my beauty regimen very seriously and Elan is truly a one stop shop. They also use the finest products and all the professionals who work there know what they are doing and are kind. I recommend this place to all of my friends. Book in advance, though!

Fantastic!l I’m beyond satisfied with the service provided by Nini! She did an amazing job on my facial. I felt relaxed and at ease, her hands are healing! She’s very knowledgeable and friendly. Nini was easy to talk to and had great communication with everything she was doing! Left happy and with glowing skin, definitely would go back to her!

Booked a massage through ClassPass and I was not disappointed at all. I had a very relaxing and soothing session that was much needed. I immediately felt lighter and went home in less pain than I was when I first showed up for my appointment. I highly recommend Nikolas!

Became a customer over COVID when I stopped going to Manhattan regularly. This has become my oasis of self-care. The salon is calming and serene. The technicians and hair stylists are all skilled, warm and professional. Elan is also the only nail salon I know of that uses Dazzle Dry nail polish, which is not a gel, doesn’t chip and doesn’t damage my nails.

Eliza absolutely gives the best wax! The salon is clean and friendly and I CANNOT recommend Eliza highly enough! She makes you feel so incredibly comfortable and the service is as painless as possible. She is the absolute best! I send all of my friends there who need recs for waxing services!

I love Eliza!! I have hormonal problems like PCOS so I decided to try electrolysis for the first time here. For a decade I had two patches on the sides of my chin with thick black hairs.Eliza took perfect care of me. She could tell I was nervous and reassured me. I appreciate that a lot. My first session was an amazing success! Most of my hairs didn’t grow back and I’m seeing her whenever I see any new growth. And it’s almost painless!11/10 chefs kiss!

Elan Salon is a very special place. I have been a client for years, and have always found the staff to be wonderful - kind, professional and accommodating. Julie and the others who work the front desk are always helpful and respectful. I recommend Tanya for mani/pedis, Zina and Andis for hair, Lena for facials - but really, everyone there is great. I highly recommend this salon!

My facialist moved my appointment back 15 minutes bc she was late and then was another ten minutes late for the new time. My treatment was supposed to be 60 minutes and it was short of 50 minutes. She didn’t do the whole facial and it was a rip off. I don’t recommend. They offered no complimentary services or reduction in cost for the poor customer service and should have. It was the least they could have done. I gave it a two star instead of one because the woman who did the facial was kind.

My husband treated me to the royal spoil for mothers day but I just had a chance to use it now. I had the BEST massage with Pepi, she was so great at understanding my body. I have rheumatoid arthritis and she just new exactly what pressure to use and what joints needed some love. Then I had a facial with Lina and she was so knowledgeable and was able to suggest the eminence facial for my sensitive skin. She cleaned out all my pores and white heads. After that I had the pleasure of a pedicure with Angela who I have been blessed to be able to get every time I come. She always does a fantastic job and remembers things about me from the last time I was here ( which was a while ago). I have to say this spa was truly a life saver. I needed a day like this. Thank you Elan Day Spa and Pepi, Lina and Angela for making an over worked mom relax.

The best facials! I see Lucy and she does verify of facials and microchanneling on me. My skin never looked better. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Andis and Adelle are super talented stylists! Whether I wear my hair long and curly or short and straight, he knows how to give me the perfect cut that is easy to maintain. Adelle is a pro with my daughter’s crazy curls.

Liza is hands down the best brazilian waxer I have ever had. She has been waxing me full body for years! Least pain and fastest wax you will get! Shes also very kind and friendly. You will not be disappointed! THE BEST!

Do not go here. I was cut Badly during my pedicure. The woman pushed so hard that the whole side of my big toe is now bleeding profusely. She also used nail trimmers from her coworker who had just used on another client. She told me they had been cleaned. I pray I don’t get an infection. She kept trying to put a product on to stop the bleeding, and it wasn’t working because the cut was so deep. I am in my way to City MD.

I’ve been coming here and seeing Anabel for years and she’s fantastic - so personable and does excellent work. Everyone I speak to who works there is helpful and sweet, so I always get a great vibe from Elan!

Anabel is the best esthetician I have EVER encountered! Prices are fair and competitive with other salons. Be prepared to tip in cash. Otherwise the owner at the front desk will direct you to the ATM on the wall that has a hefty service fee.

Elan Salon really does go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with the job they’ve done. I initially went in for an eyebrow waxing which I wasn’t happy with at all and they really made the effort to make sure I had a better impression of them. I decided to come back and had the best facial ever with Lena and she offered to fix my eyebrows as well. Honestly I was not expecting anything and now I can’t wait to come back. She also significantly improved blemishes on my face within the visit. Thank you for making sure I came back to the salon, very glad I did.

Was able to book a last-minute massage. They were able to see me within the hour. The masseur, Nick, was by far one of the best massage therapists ever. Skilled, professional, took his time to explain what he was doing. Highly recommended!

The lady who did my hair, I believe her name was Maria did my hair really nice and I definitely recommend her. The reason why I am taking 3 stars off is because the customer care I got from the manager was absolutely disgusting. First off, BEFORE I came in to get my hair done they told me that it will be $390. AFTER, they had racked up the price to $495! Not only was this absurd, they have a misleading price booklet that has not been updated. I was told that the new prices are online. How are you going to change the prices online but not update them in the price booklet at the salon?Also, they charged me $80 for a haircut that was not even a haircut, it was a trim. When I was talking to the manager whose name is Julie about this, she was being really rude and started yelling at us for her prices and how we should have checked the prices online.I do not recommend this place. Prices are misleading. Manager was acting crazy and would not even listen to a word I said, she kept interrupting me and trying to talk over me.Stay away.

Ive gotten a facial, a back treatment, and a 30 minute massage here with two different women on two different days. Both were very upfront about my skin issues. I mean, I dont have perfect skin, but its not awful either. They were both very down to business and told me what needed to happen for my skin to improve. The experience wasnt particularly relaxing because they would talk through a good portion of it. All in all, I recommend their spa treatments if you have skin issues youre looking to tackle, but youre not looking for a serene experience. My skin is always glowing afterwards.

The woman who did the pedicure dug so deep that she literally cut my toe. I’ve already seen two doctors to treat this. It’s been pretty painful. If you go to Elan, I would suggest avoiding Angela!

I popped into this salon looking for Aveda products. When I walked in no one acknowledged my existence so I decided to check out the products they offered for myself. The receptionist took a call, hung up, and still did not offer any assistance. So I just left. I said thanks as I was walking out and still no one spoke. Just the receptionist with his goofy looking smirk behind his mask. Yuck. There is a salon like 6 blocks up or so and their staff were a lot friendlier.

I had my first spa package today and it was absolutely wonderful. The last 2 weeks I have been feeling pretty low because of the weather and also getting sick so I decided to treat myself and get some tlc.All of the staff are super attentive, charming and friendly. The masseuse and the esthetician were personable , knowledgeable and extremely professional. The lady who gave me my mani and pedi was amazing too , she engaged in friendly conversation and was very thorough with the services she gave including a paraffin hand bath, which was lush !There was not one moment that I felt uncomfortable or anxious and I left feeling like a million dollars ! Worth every penny xx

I love the aesthetics and services but hate that they always overcharge at payment. Facials are the best. Plan to spend $50-100 more than the price listed on the website (not including tip).

Ive received two Swedish massages from Pippa to address shoulder and upper back pain, and theyve both been incredible. The second time she incorporated some deep tissue massage work as well. Ive noticed a significant improvement in relieving tension, stress, and strain, and I hope to make these massages a more regular part of my wellness routine. Pippa and the rest of the team are professional, kind, and punctual as well.

Every single time I have been there for a service - whether its for a hair color, cut, blowout, facial, massage, mani/pedi - has been nothing short of a fantastic experience. As a veteran client of six years, I cant think of a better salon/spa (and Ive been to a fair share of them in New York City and New Jersey). All the stylists, estheticians, massage therapists, and mani/pedi staff are highly trained, courteous, respectful, patient, and just downright awesome. They really take pride in listening to you, and ensuring that you receive the utmost quality of service. Elan truly is a place where I go to unwind, relax, and get everything I need without having to worry about whether Ill react to any of the products used, which is a major concern for me. I also know that they have taken the time to do everything perfect. I just love, love, love this place.P.S. I highly recommend Nikolas for a massage. Andes is a great hairstylist! He listens to your requests and is very precise on how he cuts hair. He can also suggest a style that would look better for your features. The salon is clean, good products and they always have tea, coffee and snacks.

Went in for a facial, mani pedi and a haircut. Every treatment was fantastic, the staff are absolutely lovely and everything was done in a timely manner. Great price point for the quality of service. Will definitely be going here again for all my future saloon needs.

I just had a terrible experience at this salon. I asked for a half head of highlights and a trim. The employee ended up coloring my entire head because she said it would look weird if she didnt after having already put the color on half of my head. Then when the color was finished, my roots look RED! I have blonde/light brown hair. NOT OK!!!!!! To top it off, my stylist chopped about 3 inches off my hair when I explicitly said 1 inch. Nail in the coffin? A price tag of over $300!!!! Ill never go back there again and recommend that anyone who has more than a basic buzz haircut should go elsewhere too. A complete waist of money and time.

Great service!!!!!!!! First time coming to a spa all day and I must say I was impressed. They have Netflix!! What more can you ask for :) very friendly staff and clean facilities. I purchased the mineral bath $10, and it was super relaxing but personally it was really hot and I couldnt stand the heat for longer than 5 min. Definitely would recommend. Came here out of the blue on a Saturday as I had a formal event on a Saturday and decided I needed a last minute change of my hair as the gelled look I was going for was not cutting it. Front desk gal was very friendly and was able to fit me in on what seemed to be a very busy Saturday. Laslo provided my scissor cut and was exactly what I was looking for. Professional and timely. As I sat and waited I ended up buying a CBD Oil massage package. Very interesting, excited to head back for that.

It can be hard to get service as a walk-in, so its suggested to make an appointment. And with good reason! I trust that when I get my nails done here, it will be a quality job.

I love this place so much!!! Its got all the services every girl needs. The staff was extra helpful and friendly. Anna was lovely and super awesome in doing my manicure and pedicure.

I will never come here again ever. Website has false prices. Their website says $120 for a partial balayage yet I just walked out with a $265+ tip bill. I turned down all the extra “add-ons” that they suggested I add. Can you imagine if I didn’t!? They didn’t blow dry or style my hair (they dried just the top so that I could see the color) and no haircut was included. (I did know this going in though and did not plan to have my hair cut). This being said I don’t know how anyone could possibly be okay with spending this much money for a partial balayage - the stylist did no more than 10 foils. I feel absolutely and completely robbed and have such a bitter taste in my mouth. I am only giving it a 2 star and not a 1 because the girl who did my hair did do a good job with the color.But honestly just go somewhere else that is actually transparent with their prices before you go in and has a friendly face. The stylist was great but the manager that creates the prices/runs this place is very unfriendly and I have no desire to support her business in any way ever again.I also heard and watched her yell at a spa patron who made an apt with someone that she normally sees and was upset because the manager informed her that she was sorry but that person whom she’d made an appointment with just took someone else and so she needed to use someone else or come back another time with a take it or leave it attitude.

Professional Service through and through. I was gifted a Royal Spoil package by my hubby and kids and I enjoyed it immensely. I will return to this establishment. Told the family I need this type of pampering quarterly for all that I do.😁

I asked to have my hair cut outside, as I am almost 70. They took my temp the moment I came in, confirmed that I had no temp, whisked me out to a sunny, cute back garden, and Maria did a beautiful job cutting my hair, mask and all.
