I have received a facial from Jahzaria twice now and I enjoyed my experience both times! She is so professional and has excellent customer service. You can tell she truly cares about her clients as she’ll always ask about your day, give advice and encouragement when warranted, and consistently checks in during the service to make sure you’re comfortable. The place is clean and she keeps it smelling amazing. Jahzaria is also quite knowledgeable about skincare and provides education and recommendations to the best of her ability. She’s such a sweet soul, I see myself going to Jahzaria for a long time to get facial services. Definitely recommend!

I went for my first ever facial and backfacial today and left feeling super refreshed. My skin has never felt so clear and pure. Jahzaria was great!! She took the time to ask what my goals were as far as skincare and gave me a treatment that went hand in hand with it . It was so soothing I fell asleep! She even made me a product recommendation pad for me with what she thought would be beneficial for my skin going forward based on what she noticed today. I would definitely recommend!! And I’ll absolutely be coming back !!!

I booked with Jahzaria for a facial and the experience was a 100/10! My skin was congested to a point of no absorption but she managed to deeply clean my skin and get it back to a good starting point all in one session. All of the products she used were 100% safe and free from harmful chemicals which is a plus! Can’t wait to book another appointment with her!

I went to get a facial today by Jahzaria and I left feeling amazing and my face looked better when I left. My daughter told me about this place and I was nervous at first because we wear hijab. They tried their best to cover us and do their job at the same time. Our hair dresser Marsida was beyond amazing. She was kind understanding and helped so much. She gave me advice that was raw and helpful in a kind way. She gave my hair such a beautiful look and I havent seen my hair like that in so long. She made my daughter and I feel so comfortable. The whole place is cozy and clean. I truly loved my experience here and will come back. The only issue was I just wish they could have a better way of covering because as hard as they tried there will still gaps that men can see. I appreciate the dedication truly do. I recommend this place to everyone but I must say if you are a women who wears a hijab go early in the morning so it will be less empty and less risk of males seeing you. Other than that amazing amazing amazing.

Had massages and waxing done here. The owner and staff are very welcoming and super nice. The place is always immaculate. Jamelah is an excellent massage therapist and does a fantastic job of incorporating important stretches into your customized massage. I HIGHLY recommend her.Waxing by Liesl is awesome. She takes her time and is super professional. She explains everything she will do and physically and mentally prepares you for what is going to happen. She makes an what can be an uncomfortable treatment go by quickly and as easily as can be expected. She is honest and caring and it shows in her work and I will continue to use and recommend her.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. My Masseuse, Mai, has been blessed with great hands. The Manicurist/Host, Sheena, is awesome and we had a nice conversation about our significant others. Did a Pedicure and manicure for the first and although I wasnt too comfortable with that as a man, she made the experience bearable. I definitely recommend their services.

The people that work there are very respectful and Talented. The energy is so welcoming. They have been in the community for about 8 to 9 years. To know that they good vibes people 😌. Energy hasnt changed. Will recommend.

From coming in to leaving the ladies were so nice and pleasant. I had a massage and facial done by Liesl and Jamela. These ladies were wonderful!! I booked my next appointments cant wait to come back.

I only went there because I needed my hair done for a wedding and my actual stylist was going to be busy and I didnt want any time conflicts. This hair salon is close by me so I checked them out a day in advance to see if they could do the style I wanted and to schedule an appointment. It was empty..as it usually is when I pass by. ( Its empty for a reason..keep reading) This middle aged Jamaican lady was the one at the counter to help me. I think her name might be Joy. That day she seemed helpful. She said they could do the style I wanted, told me the price was 40$, and to come in the next morning. I already had an installed weave which I just wanted to be washed and styled. Anyway, I came in the next morning. Joy was the only one there and seemed to be waiting on the other employees. She started me off with a wash. When other people did come in they were complaining about lack of customers and being unable to buy breakfast because they were broke. After my wash, Joy gave me to another girl to style my hair. Forgot her name but she is African American with a short hair cut...very nice girl. She did an awesome job with my hair. After we finished she told me the price was 60. Obviously I did a double take because Joy told me the day before that it would be 40. I told the girl the problem and she told me to check with joy. When I did Joy brushed it off and claimed she told me the style would be 40 and up which she did not. She told me since my curls are bigger she charged me more...A bit ridiculous since I didnt ask for bigger curls. I told her a style,they said they could do it...her doing something slightly bigger is not my issue. Anyway I payed the 60.. PLUS tax ( yea they check you out at a register and add tax on hairstyles) A COMPLETE RIP OFF. Joy was so unprofessional and nonchalant about everything. I would advise no one to go here. Totally phony..the manager is unprofessional. I feel bad for the girl that did my hair..she gave me a card and everything and wanted me to tell friends to come check her out. Unfortunately for her..as long as she is in that shop I will not be doing that. This salon is a JOKE.

I found out about this salon from the website of a product line for a treatment I was interested in using. I called (more than once) to inquire about the treatment, appointment and most importantly the price. I got to my appointment and not only was Lola extremely welcoming and pleasant she and the other staff members made me feel like I had known them for years. Yes, they are pricey but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and you pay for what you get. The treatment that I received is normally pricey but it was actually the cheapest that Ive found in the area. My first encounter was in July of 2015 and not only am I still a client, my mom is now one too!Im grateful that I did not read the reviews prior to scheduling my appointment, they are a black owned business which is a plus for me and they will continue to have me and my mom as clients.Keep up the great work!

Got box braids done. They look amazing. She did it quickly with another person within 3 hours. She initially avoided telling me the price I would pay. I ignored that. While getting my hair done, I overheard the receptionist over-charging another client and claimed it was a “mistake” to charge him an extra 40$. When it came time to pay, the price list said box braids with extensions are 140$+. She charged me 150+5 for the hair (keep in mind the price list is already charging the 140 for the braids AND hair). She then she charged me a tax fee coming up to 161.75. When I gave her my card, she added in extra and tried to hide the swipe machine from me. When she asked me to sign my receipt, I saw I was charged i181$. I didn’t sign and demanded to know the details of the price. The hairstylist said I was charged a 3% card fee (btw - that’s only 4$ extra.. not 20$). Needless to say, she fixed it real quick when I calculated it myself. Nowhere did it say there would be a card fee and nowhere did the hairstylist use a machine system to calculate the payment. She “calculated” it on her own and couldn’t do proper math. Overall, the hairstylists are genuinely nice, fast, and good at their job, but payment is sketchy. And it’s definitely not a first. Make sure you get an exact price beforehand, with all included “extra fees”. They’re a little sketchy.

RUN! RUN! And never look back. CON ARTISTS!I came across this hair salon early one morning. It was the only salon opened that accepted credit cards.I met with Angela (Angie) - a Jamaican lady. She was super nice. I told her I was there to get my hair Washed & Blown out as well as get my split ends Trimmed.The price on the wall stated: “wash & blow out - $25” ... Now, I did not see any price for hair trimming and Angie did not bother to tell me the price, but I assumed it couldn’t be no more than $10 since I am only trimming my ends, NOT cutting off my hair.At the end, when I am ready to pay, Angie took my credit card and charged it. She did not provide a receipt for me to sign. She claimed the machine was out of receipt paper. Out of good faith, I trusted that she would not charge me more than $35 since she displayed such a friendly personality.My credit cards are linked to my phone. I always get a text message on my phone when my card is charged. However, I did not receive a text message. If I had, I would have said something before leaving the salon.When I got home, I had this gut feeling to check my credit account and I am so happy that I did. I was charged $65.41 for WASH & BLOW OUT!At first, I told myself it had to be a mistake. I decided to call Angie. She had given me her phone number before leaving the Salon. I told her that I was overcharged. She told me, it was no mistake. She explained that I was actually supposed to be charged over $100+ but she had given me a discount because of the holiday. She also explained that there is a 3% credit surcharge fee.Now, I don’t know what other people normally pay for Wash & Blow out. But I’ve never had to pay over $40 with hair straighten and trimming included. My hair is natural, soft, no colors or treatments, etc...Many people are not aware of this but It is actually illegal in the state of New York to charge consumers with surcharges on credit card transactions. It is the merchant responsibility to pay those fees. This is why many stores tell consumers that they have to spend a certain amount of money in order to use their credit cards such as convenience stores, etc...I can honestly say that I was CONNED! Angie was persuasive and friendly, and she gave me one price then overcharged me. When confronted regarding the charge, she became rude and hostile over the phone. Looks are deceiving! But I will definitely have my credit card company despute the charge!I will report this company to the Better Business Bureau of NY as well as all other review sites.Beware of this hair salon!!! Can’t say you weren’t warned!

I had a great massage yesterday. Destiny and Jamelah made you feel comfortable. They made you feel at home! I definitely will go back. This was the best first experience !!!

Excellent and professional massage by Mai think thats the spelling. It was deep tissue so although a bit of pain on the onset, Im certain my body will thank me mañana. Nonetheless, I def recommend this place. Its very clean and its a nice & friendly environment.

I experienced the most divine massage. Blessed by a masseus who took time out of her schedule, unbeknownst to me on her wedding day. An Egyptian goddess gifted me her tenderness and warmth through the power of what you may think to be a simple massage. I planned on going nack but never found the time. Selfcare is key and this salon emulates that in everyway.

The place is very clean, the employees are on point and the service is everything. I have since brought my whole family. Highly recommended

There is a hidden gem in Flatbush named Nakisha who does the baddest nails in town. Im so happy I found her and this peaceful salon where I now get my nails done. I love sitting somewhere Im comfortable and know Im getting a quality job for a very reasonable price, Nakisha is an artist!! Im so happy I found her, she knows the latest nail styles and understands my personal desires.

Ive been coming to this place once in a blue moon. Ive gone there for a quick wash & cornrows, usually priced between $40-45, still a bit much but its ok.This last time & finally time, I came to get my hair washed & cornrow. They offered me a hair treatment for $15. At first I was a little hesitant but I said okay because I havent treated my hair in awhile. The stylist braided my hair into 5 simple braids, because I had my own wig that I would quickly install.When everything was said & done. My bill was $73.15, yes thats right!! To wash, unbraid & rebraid was $73.15. I stated to them what exactly did you charge me for? They throw all kinds of prices at me, which they made up. They informed me the price list in the front of the store is obsolete & the real price list is listed in the salon bathroom. So if you dont use the bathroom while youre getting service, youre out of luck. They also claim that my natural hair was nappy & tangled, & had to charge me for combing my hair 😳. I couldnt believe what was coming out of the owners mouth. Her employees watched in horror & were too afraid to say anything.Not only was I offended & insulted by the owner comments about my hair. She continued to lie and dismiss my issues. I stated to her that her employer gave my the pricing. She turned around and yelled at her employee why did you give her the wrong price & told me its my problem and I have to pay. Needless to say it didnt end well. I refused to pay the inflated prices. She decided to lock the door. I had to report her & her business to the police & better business bureau .After this experience I decided to go to Yelp. To my surprise I wasnt the only one to have the same complaints, several other people had similar reviews on Yelp, Google & online. Please beware of this bad business

This place is great. I get my weave done here my relaxers or just a wash and conditioner i get it all. I also bring my 5 year old daughter to do her hair for special occasions. The people are kind and professional and the place is clean and beautiful. I would recommend this place any day.

When I want a peace of mind I go here. No drummer. Of course this is a black own business and their will always be HATERS, people hate to see other blacks survive. This shop has been here a long time. And I pray be here many more years. This owner is not out to ripping people off. She and her WORKERS work very hard. And will do what they can to help anyone. Keep up the good work. Pray for the HATERS.

Went on Monday 12 of September it was my first time and the were nice to me but didnt ask me after me saying its my time after my Uncle in law dropped so I can get a wash and set had to sign in wait a little and got my wash felt good but did like the fact older middle age lady pull my hair alot why it felt soft but dry and fizzy to then put spray in my hsir after that, put big braids to then instead of putting rollers after she decided to to blow dryer pull lot of hair then put serum and other product from same brand that I know it was for kinky ,coily hair texture it was for my naturally mixed Indian wavy hair at all after from 5:30 to finish at 8:30 pm being late to Rehersal I was upset and the lady has fill out a slip the gave the price of $57 are kiddingme ? you didnt do a good my looks like I sweat out myhairTolstoy all I have is $ 20 told owner to then call to the rest Oh no way then to listen to customer who threatened with police and said no dint take a pucture of her lisense if she is not coming with the money, then take her licensehold till she pay the rest she then replied .Im license with a gun and not afraid to use to it.
