I love this place. The lower prices in the whole Brooklyn. I dont understand people who complained about tips. Massaging is a really hard, heavy work, and it is fair to pay more tips for their great work. I try to pay around $20 each time, and I think its fair. You will leave more money in some MassageEnvy for less time and effort, believe me.

They demanding tips!I wanted to give 23% tips out of price, and the lady who did massage said it’s not enough and took more by herself from my change.Massage wasn’t bad it’s just I never was in this kind of circumstances before. They could increase prices but not demand tips! 🤬

I’d give strong and positive 4 stars for the massage, but something has changed my opinion in the end. I paid for the massage and 25% tips, the women was not happy /she text it to my girlfriend, when I asked for the next appointment /. I don’t think that it is the right way to do business. It is customer’s priority to decide how much to tip and when. What she did was very disrespectful. This review is not about money, it is about the attitude of the employees.

I had a massage here, the whole hour was painful and intense. I was basically crying the whole time. I asked for them to use less pressure which they did not do. I came home with bruises all over my body, moving, sitting and even laying down is very painful just hours after getting this done.

Very scary inside, a lot of dirt, dust and everything is old. But I liked the foot massage and the price is cheap.Urgently needs repairs!!!

After several disturbing experiences, I won’t be going back there. While the staff may not recognize me, I’ve actually recommended more than a dozen regular customers and they should treat every customer with respect. As other posters mentioned, they harass people who do not tip 50% of the service. I understand the prices are low and it’s tiring work for long hours and low pay. However, I’m not getting the amenities I would in more upscale places, such as cleanliness. Most of the chairs are broken, they don’t clean the chairs between customers (or probably ever), there’s fly paper with dead flies hanging from the ceiling and the place hasn’t been updated in at least a decade. They will take people out of turn and pretend they don’t understand you. If you ask for an hour foot massage, they will agree and then stop after half an hour with no apology. They obviously want to maximize their tips. Some workers are nicer than others. I paid for my service and was then getting money out for the tip and the worker started yelling at me in Chinese when he assumed (incorrectly) that I wasn’t tipping. I was still seated in the chair and it was apparent I was counting out the tip, which was generous, especially in view of the fact that my friend and I went for one hour massages and I only got half an hour and they took someone ahead of me who walked in half an hour later. While I understand some people may not tip or give low tips, he was just automatically yelling at me, which is unacceptable. I told him “It’s a good thing I have no idea what you’re saying.” Customers should not be intimidated into giving large tips, although I feel that I’m always generous. I have never, ever been demanding, rude or disrespectful. There’s always a lot of arguing going on with the customers.

As if its neat here, they can steal your money. They took my money out of my pocket. I didnt notice it

Not a bad place overall. One of the original massage spots that survived the pandemic and remained open after it. Rates went up everywhere and this place has one of the best rates post pandemic. They used to be $35/he before. Please understand that here you will find masseuses not a massage therapist. There is a big difference, massage therapists are licensed and a masseuse is not. Overall not a bad experience for the price but they kind of go extra on tips expecting a minimum of $20 tip on a $40 for 1 hour body massage. Something that a lot of people dont understand is that the person that does your massage is making a fraction of the cost of what you pay. Majority of the pay is pocketed by the owner and the poor masseuses that do the actual hard work only get a small fraction of it. This is the reason why tips are heavily relied upon. It is is still however unfair that when I have here 3 20s she didnt even offer to give me anything back. That is bad business. I got a 1 hour massage by Lucy which was not bad but overall they really need to learn how to speak at least basic English. How do they keep living like this in this country and not even attempt to understand basic language is be on my understanding. They should also stop talking with each other while the massage is going on which is kind of disrespectful and distracting. My massage also ended 5 mins before the due time which could have been used as much needed time for some head massage to finish off. Overall they used way too much oil as well. I also got a 30 minute foot massage which was pretty good. Looking forward to try other people from my massage and I would like a little bit more pressure. Convenient location where you can get plenty of different food options. They will have your green tea ready when youre done so let them know ahead of time if you dont want it. At the end of the massage I handed the person $60 expecting to get some change back but didnt even get asked if I needed anything back. It was a middle-aged lady so I just let it go because these people work hard. Best guy I had was at relaxed foot spa 3 in Brighton. A few blocks away from her, which closed because of the pandemic unfortunately. I was not able to find anyone as good as Toby there.

Don’t NOT come here!!! Dirty place and on top of that they ask for 20$ tips for 40$ -1 hr body massage. They come up to you and request 20$ tips, HOW IS that possible?????I have never had such experience in my entire life. Very mean and rude workers. no one speaks english. money is pulled out of hands, they ask for more moneyvery dirty and broken chairs. One hour foot massage cost $30, they ask $15 tip. If you won’t give, they get angry and acting rude( yell on their language which no one understand). I ask ( with translator) talk to the owner/manager, they just laugh and ignores you. I think this is very low service and they must improve and learn to how to work with customers who bring a business to them. Do not beg or fight for the tip. They got cash money and do not pay tax. Do you want to be violated, have your money stolen or feel taken advantage of? Then youve come to the right place.Ive been going to this place for years with my wife. However, they have severely declined. Not only was my wife pretty much gropped massaged last time she was there by the man....who should have massaged me because the 85 pound woman that massaged me was not only underwhelming she didnt cut her nails. Thankfully my wife was there so I didnt get Trouble for the scratches.Finally when I decided to tip, which I shouldnt for the service, the guy refused to give me change as in he didnt speak English. Once I continued insisting and basically threatened he gave it back.Horrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Quality of the massage/service was Not as expected. They demand certain amount of tips in the end which I think is ridiculous since it’s should not be mandatory amount.

The masseuse lady got mad at me when I tip her 25%.. I thought she’s gonna eat me alive. Ruined the whole experience. I didn’t even sleep well the following night, her angry face haunted me. Don’t go there.

Horrible service employees were not helpful and towards the end of my massage there was a huge cockroach, crawling near me getting a massage also disgusting smelly, and will never return for more massages on the way out. And when we asked for one hour they said no, we don’t want to do one hour for you. And when we tried to leave, they said we can’t leave because we did not tip them, and then they said that we cant come back because we did not give them tip, and they my socks in front of me and never gave them back to me to me. when I ask how long it will be for me to wait, they said 10 minutes and when I came back after 10 minutes they said it was an hour and I waited patiently, I saw three employees eating while watching TV on their phones the whole time. The service I received was great. The lady was ok too but what she did at the end changed the whole experience overall!They don’t speak really English so when you try to explain something they don’t try to understand what it is you’re asking.So I choose 1 hour foot massage for 30$. At the end I give her 40$, asking for 5$ back, she’s looking at me weirdly, I’m asking what? Then they become smart and use google translate where states “1 hour = 15$ tip” . Are you guys kidding me?! So if I’d get the the 30 min service you guys would charge less tip? When did it start that you decide how much tip YOU deserve. Tip is optional and not mandatory. Not impressed! Prices are average, massage is very basic and the staff doesn’t understand anything you ask for or want! After very basic massage (I went twice) no matter how much you tip they ALWAYS act wired as if you didn’t tip them! Not going back!

The massage was good! The ambiance was not good. They ask %38 tip at the end of the service.We went as couple and got 1 hour back masaage. Totally it costs 80 usd (40 usd each)I gave them 100 usd which means %25 of the bill. They looked at my face like what is this amount? They don’t speak english and they showed me some translation from their phone and saying that min. 15 usd tip for one hour service . They asked me 10 usd more and they were not happy having 20 usd tip. The way they act in the end was not professional!

If youre looking for a good massage only - go. If youre looking for a relaxing day at a beautiful spa salon with all the atmosphere and services - not this place at all. Recommended to me by a friends wife - physical therapist. The masseuses speak little English - enjoy and relax, no small talk necessary. Just let him/her know if you want a stronger touch :)No underwear. If you keep it, theyll ask to take off. Vincent was great. However I now only go to Linda. All the sports I do - Lindas massage makes me feel amazing and body taken care of. Have not had a massage from others, so cant say.Green tea upstairs after if you want.Affordable to go weekly - love it!

If you want the worst experience ever-go...When we walked in around 6pm on Sunday it was two men on the top floor, telling they are waiting for customers,no one really speaks English (or pretend they don’t ) and we feel very unwelcome! Somehow we explained we gonna wait, so they see you won’t give up and leave,they put us in the chair s.In couple minutes 4 more persons came from underground, some start to eat food, other ones -clip his nail in front of customers.Half of staff don’t wear face mask.Besides-very dirty and dark place,scary to imagine how bad it is in daylight!Used towels collected in buckets ,I’m not sure if they wash it between customers,I hope we won’t get fungus after visiting this place.Massage was so-so,staff look tired,rude and don’t care about customer satisfaction.Dont waist your time and money.

They are the best massage spa on brithon ! Massage is very strong deep tissue and its very relaxing . My back pain is gone since I started going Here !I always see girl name Lisa she have a amazing hands ,And when shes busy I take someone there else but they are all good. I feel great after massage . And of course I give good tip because they deserve it . Highly recommend it .

Really after back rub no one wants to do foot. That’s strange however it is not busy at all. And 15$ tips for not great back rub massage which is 35$ way too much. Better change massage place. Do not recommend cause they don’t deserve even 1 star.

Update 2019:Kevin and Linda are the best - I only go to those two because they have the strength and skill for deep tissue massage......Amazing foot rub - deep, stimulates a lot of pressure points. The therapist knew exactly what he was doing. I always leave them generous tips because relaxation is beyond words!

Cleanliness issue. The entire place just doesn’t seem safe or clean in any way. Lights are off, loud, doesn’t feel like a relaxing place at all. The women who work there are naturally good but I’m not sure that’s enough.

Best place I swear!!!! I go there every week with hubby, mom and me and my nephew joined us last week and wants to come as well from now on. I was very skeptical at first because I have been to places and never did what I wanted but here all I have to say is who speaks English and explain the issue to a person and he will tell her and all done! I go to same lady allThe time she is amazing I have back problems and lately I have been having body aches a lot so when I travel for work and come home and I can’t wait to go on Thursdays because I know I might walk in all bent out of shape and walk out all straight and feeling fresh and without any pain! They are truly amazing! You do have to tell them where to be a little softer and where to be harder and if u keep going they will learn your body and u good to go. I used to go for years. Last 2x , sucked. Place got worse I guess they have one time walk ins. They dont understand English. I asked for deep tissue , it felt more as a swedish massage.whats worse is that I usually give a nice tip, this time my bf and I gave half the amount bc it sucked.
