Massage Envy

I just got done with a session from Shamisha and it was by far the best massage I have ever gotten. I gave her a challenge with how bad my back was and she met it head on with some deep tissue work. She was also very sweet, talked to me when I wanted to talk but also balanced it with giving me time to just relax. I will definitely be back.

Stretching sessions with Karen has been excellent. Very informative and great understanding of how to work around limitations from past injuries. Would recommend for anyone.

Called up and scheduled 2-massages one for myself and one for my wife. I have never been to massage envy before. I was scheduled for 11:30am Sunday February 4th and my wife was scheduled for 3pm same day. I confirmed everything with a credit card. I was told by my surgeon he recommended a massage before surgery which was why I scheduled the massage to relieve anxiety and reduce risk of blood clots. They have a policy if you call less than 24 hours prior you are responsible for 50% with late cancellation but what happens when they cancel on you less than 24 hours prior? I’m so upset as I really needed this prior to my surgery and they called me to tell me there was a scheduling conflict. How did this conflict happen when I booked and also confirmed with a credit card. I didn’t even receive a call until 430pm Saturday February 3rd. I think it’s terrible that everything was booked and confirmed that I’m the one out and now I have no way to rectify it. No attempt was made to resolve the problem prior to my surgery. My wife was so upset. She ended up canceling her appointment as well. No attempt was made to rectify the problem, other than rescheduling for another day, which I couldn’t do as I was having surgery.

Shamisha gives 10/10 massages every time , highly recommend

Yesterday I had a massage with Ellen and it was fantastic! The time flew by and this morning I woke up without the usual aches and pains.Yesterday I had a massage with Megan and it was great! Just the right amount of pressure and she was very friendly and professional.Ashley is consistently awesome! I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed and my skin looks and feels great!Massages with Jess are fantastic. No wonder his schedule is booked up for months!

Stretch/RTR sessions with Karen are excellent. She’s very good at working with you to provide the best experience possible. Friendly and knowledgeable.

It was out of this world good! it was my first time going here and I absolutely loved every minute Megan is the greatest of all time!!! And literally took the stress off of my shoulders the atmosphere and tranquility was amazing! If you have never done this before I highly recommend you do it for yourself you will not regret it!

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because of the receptionist. She did not seem interested in helping me, I told her I wanted to make another appointment with the therapist and she basically ignored my request and just said they would put me on their cancellation list due to how far the appointments were booking out. My massage therapist was out of this world, best deep muscle massage I’ve ever received and I hope to get in with her again! So regardless of how far out they were booking, I still would have wanted to secure another appointment and the receptionist just handed me a pamphlet about their membership services, but didn’t take the time to go over any of it with me.

I received a gift certificate to spa envy for a facial as a birthday gift. On my way there I realized I forgot my certificate at home. I called to say I would be late. The staff was very accommodating and understanding. Ashley still kept my appointment for me. She did a wonderful job, made me feel very at ease and relaxed. She is professional and has a beautiful personality. I could see the difference in my skin and I hope to use the services again

I had a 90 minute session for a facial yesterday. Ashley provided the service. I enjoyed my service so much. Ashley works in such a caring professional manner. She answers any questions I might have about my treatments. Ashley is an excellent representative for Massage Envy. I would give her a 5 plus!!!

Megan is absolutely amazing. I have seen her 3 months in a row and am already feeling the benefits of a monthly massage. After 2 visits, my constant shoulder pain was gone and other aches and pains have improved. She notices when certain muscles are more tense than on a previous visit. Megan is kind, professional, and wonderful at her job!!!! I highly recommend her to anyone!

Therapist was good just expected a massage did not want to stretch. I stretch at practice and this is my one time to really relax and recover muscles so I was really upset about that. I also have a gun at home and didn’t appreciate paying 60+ dollars for a service I can do completely on my own. When I called to book I asked it to be the same service I usually get. I was also disappointed that the sessions was only about 45 minutes rather than 60, and the therapist would stop to show me videos on her phone when I could have been having treatment. I am a broke college kid but I pay for this because I really need it and now I feel like I’ve waisted a month and also what is honestly a lot of money for me which really upsets me.

I had a facial with Ashley and it was amazing and so relaxing! Ashley explained everything and has helped me with my skin care regimen. My skin has never looked better! She is always friendly and is a true asset to ME!!! (like what I did there 😊)

I have been receiving messages from Eileen for years. She knows just how to address my problem areas and offer tips for me to do at home to relieve the problem area. She is friendly and easy to talk to. I recommend her to others often.

Massage Envy was lovely to walk into, having a smoothing atmosphere. Checking in for my massage appointment was easy quick checking and checking out. I received a massage from Eileen and she was very knowledgeable with the bodywork she was giving, helping my body overall greatly. Thanks again.

The massage therapists are amazing at the Transit Rd. location! Cidalia is very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. However, the reason for 4 stars is that the franchise keeps canceling, rescheduling, and trying to offer services I’m not interested in. It’s so hard to schedule appointments when there are very few available. I schedule out five months in advance.

Eileen is a wonderful therapist. She remembers from each session the points of focus, always confirms what I need most at the beginning of each session, and offers great levels of pressure! I highly recommend her.

Jess is awesome! 5 star review! I have been seeing him for months for deep tissue. He listens to you, finds the knots, and works them out. Dr. was impressed with how much better my neck tension and mobility are.

Jess has always been great and he was today. Unfortunately your front desk staff is not. When I was in for my Match appointment I asked what dates I had booked. She let me know that it was April. I said we better look for May. She told me May was full without even asking for my availability. She did not offer a wait list or a list of phone numbers for other locations. She did not off future months. I responded with I guess I will cancel my membership. Still nothing. When I finished my appointment today I said if no Nay appointments I was canceling. She said ok. Can I email you the cancellation form I said no that is not convenient. She finally fou NBC d the form. I may have changed my mind if she had shown just a little empathy for the situation.

Ashley does my facials and she is always warm, welcoming, informative and personable. I absolutely love my sessions with her and always come out feeling so much better than when I went in

Try to explain to me how you’re unable to provide service, but withdraw money out of my account on a timely manner every month! I enrolled as a member 2 years ago. Moved to Miami and got great services from their Miami franchise, but this location is absolutely hopeless!!! I’ll be surprised if this location urvives. Rude customer service, only concerned about profit and not providing customers with adequate service. Tip for running business, people do not care how much profit businesses make. We (as customers) are concerned about the services and good you provide them. When those are good, paying and even paying beyond asking price is never going to be a problem. I’ve unfortunately cancelled my membership and advise that you do the same.

Again I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. My therapist , Cidella, is so knowledgeable, so compassionate and easy to work with. I have felt so much better after a session with her. She is more than a massage therapist. She can be a physical therapist!The facility is clean, Covid safe and staff is pleasant and eager to please.

Massage was ok,Left out working on neck.Paid for 60 minute massage and received a 50 minute massage.Large clock in room needs to be bigger.Just no reason not to give what you paid for.Waited 2 months for appointment.To bad but will look elsewhere next time.

In town visiting and first trip to massage envy. Did a 90 minute massage with I believe his name was Richard. Was not asked when I booked if I prefer a male or female which I am normally asked. Not that big of a deal but think the customer should have the choice. I have probably had 50-60 massages and this might have been the worst. Nice guy but I’m just being honest - not a good massage! I had a facial with Kristen after who did a fantastic job. I would recommend her.

It is the worse spa ever.I called to take an appointment and they confirmed it, and asked for a credit card to confirm the appointment, a day before the appointment I called to try to postpone my appointment an hour later and the receptionist said I didn’t have an appointment to start with and that they are fully booked for the whole week and the way she said it was unprofessional.I said how come my appointment was confirmed and you guys asked for a credit card to confirm it. Of course I had to call the manager who easily gave me a choice of different days for the second week ( don’t know how these options were not seen by the unprofessional receptionist) so I said I take Tuesday at 11.45 but please make sure it is confirmed.Today Tuesday 10/27 they called at 9.30 to tell me that the appointment is canceled because the girl is sick and with a cold blood they say sorry!!!!!I asked to call the manager who happened to be the customer care manager and the manager on duty , explained to her the whole thing thinking that she knows better on how to handle customers but unfortunately she had no clue of what customer care is and all what she said was sorry but the girl is sick as if they have a walk in spa and they just pick up any body to do facial for people that when someone is sick there is no replacement!!! What a place !! What a professionalism act!!!!I had never ever in my life experienced such a way to deal with customers.Very bad reputation for this place.I thought because it’s a chain , it would be better than any other place but unfortunately it was the worst .When I told what so called Customer care manager that I will write my review on social media, she said if that makes you happy then go ahead ... can you believe that ?????

Absolute worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Tried to book a couples massage multiple times. First appointment was cancelled about a week prior. We then rescheduled that appointment, drove over an hour, and were about to arrive when they called and cancelled a second appointment. Said that they would call within a week with more dates that would be available. Two weeks later and no called. Finally was able to schedule a THIRD appointment and the same therapist, Amelia, cancelled on us again. Nobody we talked to from massage envy was accommodating to us. Asked for a return on our giftcard that had been purchased almost a year ago at this point and they would not. NEVER TRY TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT HERE!!!!

Both massages I had they seem afraid of lotion. Quit rubbing my skin ( especially hands) with hardly any lotion. Especially this time of year) I was sent home with half a bottle leftover lotion. What am I supposed to do with that? Please use it. I told her I do not want poking or deep tissue (I prefer a relaxing Swedish style ) Nobody seems to get it. But for what you pay you can’t expect more. The staff was pleasant. It’s like going to a beauty school for a haircut. You won’t be wowed but for the price it’s good enough. And everyone needs to start somewhere.

Ashley is the best! Professional, friendly. Ashley takes the time to explain the use of creams and which ones to purchase. She’s an asset to your company. I come to Massage Envy only because of her.

Megan is my Massage Envy therapist at this location. She is my top Massage Envy therapist of all time; and that says a lot because I live in FL, vacation in NY, and visit Ohio frequently and have used many therapists over the years. Megan is very caring in her approach, listens to my concerns and works on those areas that are causing me pain, doesnt talk unless I ask questions or begin a conversation, and offers suggestions afterwards (Epson salt bath, stretching, etc.) Top notch, a keeper!!! Also, the staff is caring, professional, and attentive to any needs or concerns. I highly recommend this location.

Ashley was amazing! The best facial I have ever had there and she was so nice and personable!

My fiance has never had a worse massage experience. This was her experience today. I went today for a birthday massage to treat myself. I was set up to meet with Emily at the Williamsville location on Transit Rd. She brought me in a room and was very rude and short. She had no bedside manner and did not make it a relaxing experience. My head rest kept moving and not staying in place and she did not try to fix it. After some time I fixed it and held it there for support. There were people talking very loudly in the room next door and there was no music playing in the room for a distraction. She put little to no effort into the massage. Afterwards, she met me in the hallway and tried to up-sell me on an add on. No water was given to me and no recommendations were told. Absolutely awful. I am never going back and would not recommend anyone go to Massage Envy.

Can not get appointments unless you book a month in advance and then they cancel the appointments. This is after I was told at sign up time that they have multiple therapists and appointments are no problem even around my limited availability. But they have NO trouble deducting money from my account every month in a timely manner!!!!

Booked an appointment online and had confirmation email. Took day off, drove a distance and at time of arrival was told they had no appointment/information regarding appointment. Showed them email confirmation but was told it was an IT issue and they would look into it - no offer to honor their obligation. Manager was not helpful at all and was mostly dismissive. Extremely poor customer service - do better!Update: Received a follow up email asking me to contact them via email address provided and email is not a valid email. Wow! Extremely poor management.

Eileen does a great job and is very good at giving a comfortable massage. She has a wonderful calmness and calming touch.

Eileen (therapist) is wonderful and deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately she will be leaving next month. Issues with management at this location result in poor rating.

Stephanie was absolutely amazing. She was very personable, and her background as an athletic and personal trainer really shined through as she helped me during my stretch session.

It is always very confusing when checking out. Was not able to use two gift cards for Mothers Day at once. Check out took a long time. So so. Was a member in the past, do not plan to rejoin. Front desk gentleman was awesome! He is an asset to the company. Clarence NY location

I have been going here for about a year. I have been to other massage envy locations and had pretty crummy massages. However, I have stuck with 2 very excellent therapists at this location. Chris K and Albert D are the real deal and know what they are doing. I would not hesitate to go there if you have either one of these guys.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called 2 times trying to schedule an appointment and the girl answering was obviously sick. Hey voice was so raspy I could barely hear her, I was as patient as possible considering she was notibly sick but she wad also quiet rude. I had to ask several times to repeat her last comment because I could barely hear her and resulted in her hanging up on me both times. I will not be calling back and most definitly not be scheduling any appointments. If this is the service over the phone I cant imaginewhat their massages are like.

The location I went to was very clean, as I waited in the lobby, I anticipated massage all day long, and had made up my mind that I aould continue the services once a month, as a treast to myself as it is much needed, in order to just enjoy an hour of piece and quiet, and getting some relaxation as I am a mother of 3 and run a stressful company. After waiting about 18 minutes a woman named Jamal called me back to a room, she apologized for taking so long and said it would not cut into my massage time. Once I got undressed and she came back in, I asked her how long she has she been working at Massage Envy? Boy..... I wish those words never came out of my mouth. She proceeded to go on and on very hyped up about her other job as a oral surgeon assistant, and one of her co workers, whom she does not get a long with, and the girl being mean, and how she (the massage therapist) gets so angry there, that it has came down to her blacking out and yelling obscenities in the dental office, and she cut down to 3 days / week and keeping her insurance benefits, and how there is no teamwork, also said that the co worker had bad karma, her husband was found face planted in the living room dead last year around thanksgiving, the whole thing was so bizzare I couldnt believe how unprofessional the woman was, and from what I gathered she had been employed there at Massage Envy for 5 years. I understand if the therapist wants to conversate, but the things she was saying were so out of line, and that is why I did not tell the people at the front desk about what just happened, I waited until the next day to call and then I spoke to a manager named Brandi, whom did absolutely nothing other than say they will talk to her. I am so glad I didnt choose to sign up for the $60/month membership. I would not recommend the place to anyone. I mean I feel as if I should have been at least offered a free massage with a different worker, seeing how I wasted my time and didnt enjoy it what so ever. I am not the type to complain or try to get free services but I feel that the entire thing was terrible. and the fact that the manager was not willing to make this right well they just lost a contracted customer.

Tried to walk in to purchase a gift certificate at 715 tonight doors were locked and all lights off. What a shame.

We got suckered in to doing the membership program they just kept charging us every month and we had several massages that we could use up but when we canceled they wouldnt let us use them! What a joke! Plus some of the therapists suck and talk too much and one of them needed to blow her nose the whole time and frickin spit in my eye while rambling on.

I see Kristin and Megan and they are both amazing, they really take the time to work on my problem areas and make sure I feel relaxed. Excellent people and excellent service!

I had a wonderful massage yesterday from Cidalia. She was pleasant, listened and made it an enjoyable and relaxing experience .

Idk what these other people are talking about. If you sign up for their membership and forget to use your monthly massage... it DOES roll over. Bc its already paid for. I have three credits for massages Ive missed. You can also give one massage credit to a friend. Also at this location there IS a tranquility room if you open your eyes its to the left of the reception area.Every time I go there its great service. I only rate 4 stars because they do have a higher turn over rate with employees and it sucks having to find a new person after the one you like is gone. Other than that, if you open your ears wide enough and read with your eye balls-- the entire contract is fairly simple and logical and they even sit down with you to explain it all.... Its nobodys fault but your own if you dont read it yourself.

Just had the worst massage Ive ever had in my entire life and Ive been getting massages for at least 25 years. I will never go back to this location. Honestly I feel worse now than when I went in. If she had tried to give me a worse massage I dont know if she could have. I see now that this location has only 2.9 stars and now I know why. Awful. Truly awful.

Megan has a very calming demeanor and does a thorough job. She paid attention to the tender areas of my back that troublesome because of my job.

Overall this is a horrible business concept, you may not rollover the massages and only can use it as one per month. This is not good for busy working professionals. I have joined the class action lawsuit because some money back is better than lost massages.

Jess always personalizes his service. He always ask what you would like to focus on and does. I am always happy with my message when I see Jess.

Had a massage with Jess yesterday for the first time and was very happy. He did a fantastic job and relieving tension in my muscles!

My wife, who is not a native English speaker, was tricked by this location into signing a $720 12 month contract. We have tried calling the corporate office and canceling, but they will not let us. This was a despicable act. Do not go to Massage Envy.

Dont bother with this corporate massage company. They gave the shittiest massage and I didnt get all the extras I paid for. $160 couples package for what? About 20 mins of the crappiest massage ever

The tranquility room is oddly placed and the therapist I had was so-so. I would try it again, but probably not one of the better Massage Envys Ive been to.

Too many cancellations between myself and my husband. We are both extremely unhappy. Too much of a headache getting rescheduled. Ill find someplace closer to home without monthly auto pays.
