Cover charge is $5 but the bouncers got Napoleon syndrome and wanna power trip when they are intimated by someone.

Not a great experience here, it was Thursday so it was packed with underage kids and older folks alike. Lots of grabbing going on.Response to the snarky comment below from the owner: When you as a bar overpack the amount of people inside to make as much money as possible, there is no way for people to report an event. Not only could I not locate any security other than the the ones at the entrance too busy to stop or be bothered, but by the time I could squeeze by everyone to find a staff member the people causing issues are no where to be found. The issue was not that it was 18+ on Thursday- you let too many people in on that night to line your pockets.

Wasnt even at the club. Just was walking Oct 28th just Vibing because of Halloween. Seen a security card knock out a patron for no real reason. I got it on camera. And it doesnt surprise me that the place is right next to discriminating venu. Cops walked up and seen the dude on the crowd and the security left his post and tried to blend with the crowd. Not safe, I will post the video on my social media

One of the best party bar/nightclubs I’ve been to in a while. The DJ lineup is always great and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you go here find a male bartender named Dean, he knows his drinks. He cranks out drinks faster than you can blink and with ease. Thursday nights are the best here cause of the patio being open and the environment which gets changed nightly!Owner Tim was also super nice!

Bottoms up is a great place to be at overall and a great place to work at. Great people and one big happy family. Ever since I been there I been apart of a big family and shared beautiful memories with them.

Bartenders are hot, drinks are cheap, dj knows how to spin a beat. Always good laughs and a good time here, I will be coming back. Thursdays are also super lit.

This place is very unsafe, especially for women. My friends and I got assaulted by the security guards when trying to back away from a fight. They put my friends in chokeholds and even punched my girl friend in the face. Seems like they just like to assault for fun. I will never be returning here, because I don’t want to think that my friends are being abused when they simply go for a bathroom break. Seriously, don’t go here. Not safe. There are a ton of other reviews from women on Facebook, Yelp, Restaurantji, and more explaining of their assault stories.

I would highly recommend Bottoms Up to anyone who’s looking for a fun night out. The bartenders work fast, know what they’re doing, and are very friendly. The DJs are awesome, great owners, and the security are always on top of any issues if any are to happen at all. Bottoms Up is known for their specialty fishbowls and have very reasonably priced drinks! If I were you I would definitely check this place out, if you haven’t already! The inside has a great atmosphere along with a heated patio bar with a separate DJ

The worst club experience of my life. Terribly managed. It was so crowded people trying to get out from the back literally could not move, and then when the bouncer tried to get past and obviously couldnt he started elbowing people aggressively and screaming at people to move. Hmmm, its a little hard to do that when your business lets in far too many people. He should be fired. You dont get to assault people because your business is poorly managed. If you want a good time dont go here. I will never go back. There is a reason it has the worst rating of any club in Buffalo

Used to always have a good experience at this bar but just last weekend i came with my boyfriend and the bouncer was saying “you can’t come in because you’re wearing a white t-shirt” meanwhile, i point out all the white guys in the club with the same outfit he has on. the bouncer was ignoring us and proceeded to not let my boyfriend in, as well as a handful of other black men because of their “outfits” eventhough there was nothing wrong with them. You could tell that he was finding every excuse to not let black people in. it made us feel so uncomfortable, i won’t ever come back.

Pretty nice looking bartenders... drinks are made well and the fishbowls are out of this world 😛 DJ Exposure and Delta are the best around. Security is always on top of their game, definitely recommend to anyone for a good time.

This place is super racist they turned me away because I was wearing ripped jeans ok cool so as I’m waiting for my friends to come out I seen the bouncer let multiple white males in who were wearing ripped jeans with I asked him about it he goes I’m not arguing with u get out of here and one of my friends who’s white came out of the club and guess what he’s wearing ripped jeans! So obviously I was discriminated against! If you go to their social media page you see multiple people wearing RIPPED JEANS!Reply to your comment 80% of your security staff is black but not the ones at the door nice try though! And if you scroll through your reviews I’m not the only one saying your establishment is racist so you’re the only one with a agenda and that’s to keep black people out! Go here at your own risk especially if you’re a female because the security guards assault people for no reason. i was thrown out and slammed on the concrete outside and then when i asked for the security guards name they refused to tell me. the guards have some superiority complex and think it’s okay to slam a 130 pound girl to the ground.

Best Djs in the city by far, they are really good at playing to the crowd and keep it very upbeat and fun all night, bartenders are great, efficient, and fast, the fishbowls they have are amazing, prices are very affordable! The patio is very fun when it’s open! Definitely recommend this place!

Waited in line while overhearing several minors gloating about using their Fake IDs, they were let in with wrist bands, BIG RED FLAG! Very large crowds on Thursday nights. The crowd is very disrespectful and scummy. This club scene seems to not have much organization on how many people are let in at a time, thus creating chaos inside. I will never return again and law enforcement should be brought in.

Situations couldve been handled differently on my part but the bouncers part for sure. Long story short I was grabbed without consent by a random guy, never seen him before. Impulsively I did hit him in the face after he did. I was immediately grabbed by a bouncer and told to leave. I did explain to them what happened, but they already made up their minds and didnt want to listen to me. I understand how bad the situation looked at the time, but knowing that the guy that grabbed me was still in there made me feel weak.

Lmao the replies are great, I enjoyed this club though, chill vibe, entry cost is up there but it was worth it. I reccomend. Unlike a certain club right near this one, you dont gotta worry about getting tripped or shoved every 2 feet.

A very disgusting club that charges twice for minorities and pompous bouncers on a power trip. One wouldnt let me friend in because she didnt have her college id but she had her state ID and a bus pass issued by the college. When I talked to the manager he didnt seem to care either way despite a large amount of other people were getting without need for a college ID if the bouncer felt like it. The worse club experience I have ever had. Seriously would not recommend!

First time visiting here and was very happy with the crowd and the service. D.J. kept the dancefloor moving. Had a very good time and would recommend to anyone into the dance club scene.

A security guard though my friend was going to puke (even though she wasn’t) he forced us to leave. We nicely asked if we could wait inside because it was 5 degrees and we didn’t have jackets. He forcefully pushed two of my friends so hard they fell. We were forced to leave and wait for our Uber in the cold for around 3 minutes. Highly disappointing that he would put his hands on two 18 year old girls and would make us wait in 5 degree weather with no coats all because he *thought* my friend was going to throw up.

Ill start with saying how I never write bad reviews. I enjoy promoting other peoples businesses but this club is racist towards black people. The security guard has consistently given me a hard time to get in and I truly believe it is because im black. I was introduced to this club by a white friend of mine and I went every thursday for college night with her for weeks using my state I.D with no problem even though i am in college they never asked for it. The one time i go without her and with a black friend they refused to let me in after i drove 45 minutes because I didnt have my college i.d!!! His demeanor and the way he acted towards me is simply unacceptable. The next week I went with with my white friend using my state i.d, NO PROBLEM. I am never going to this place again ill find somehere else to go. And I see on the reviews im not the only black person that feels this club is racist smh.

The bouncers put his hands on me and my friends, 2 women. Literally threw us outside in -5 degrees. We asked if we could wait inside for our Uber and they pushed us outside. He was a young white guy and used extremely excessive force. Worst staff. They all just looked around like nothing happened.

The bouncers are sensitive as usual but will easily rip money off of you for a drink or cover (typical downtown) lol, if you live in buffalo obviously you know downtown will overcharge people for drinks, if you’re a real drinker (stay away from downtown in general) it’s basically for young kids under 21 (trying) for a good time with overpriced drinks, but if you’re actually over 21 take your friends, put your money together and throw a REAL party, if you’re new to buffalo STAY AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN . Everytime we go downtown these places are cringy and awkward it’s embarrassing and there hasn’t been atleast one time, atleast one of our friends regretted going downtown and that goes for many of them.. bottoms up,venu, soho, you genuinely must be bored in buffalo for these places to be your last option (i know because that was our case tonight) :/ In buffalo to alot of people these places are a embarrassment and my visit tonight was no exception as usual 😂 anytime i hear “downtown” i wanna vomit but atleast i was buzzed enough before hand to tolerate coming here

Literally owned by scum. you can comment on as many reviews as you want saying youre not racist, but when you have this many people claiming to have been discriminated against, clearly something is wrong. we were told the building was at capacity but then the owners VIP line was filled with personal friends who were allowed entry, then one bouncer was going down the line and picking out the girls he thought were pretty and allowing them in. THEN, literally a bus showed up and the entire bus was allowed in. clearly the building was not at capacity. im glad someone filed suit for racism. you deserve it, scum.

Went during Santa Con. A guy got a little handsy. I grabbed his arm and moved it away before shifting further away. Within seconds one of the bouncers was there asking if I knew the guy and if I wanted him removed. This bar was packed to the max (they were literally turning people away) so it was surprising that anyone noticed what happened, let alone that theyd take the time to walk away from a busy door to make sure I was okay.

From Connecticut came to Buffalo to watch the colts , but anyway not a bad spot, thought it was ok, ended up going towards the back to use the bathroom, only to find a back room called “The Jungle” cool, but weird considering it was all of us “brothas”back there. Just found that little odd.

This place is a tragedy waiting to happen. They let absolutely anyone and everyone in. This place should be closed or managed better. Worst club in Buffalo by far. You cannot move in this place, you can’t have fun, it’s a horrible experience. I will never support this business again.

Bought drugs from a staff member. Excellent service and cheaper drugs than other bars. Dont believe the lies about this being a dive. Management makes sure you get what you need. Also they dont really check id.

DO NOT GO TO. First time out in buffalo to check out the night clubs and read the reviews on this one. Im not normally one to not try something because of bad reviews I like to see things for myself. As soon as we walk up my boyfriend who is black is told he couldnt enter because he was wearing camo and a jersey . He was NOT wearing camo and he took his jersey off and had a white shirt underneath and was then told white shirts werent aloud . Not even 3 feet away from us a white guy had a white shirt on but was in the club? Left very pissed will not be coming back.

I am a mom speaking for her sons and their friends that were there on Wednesday night. I understand that young adults can be unruly at times, but the excessive force the bouncers used physically with one of my sons was UNNECESSARY and WRONG.

Really fun place I had a bad moment at the end (I was drunk asfk my fault) but regardless over all had a good time fr.
