On of Campbells classic dive bar. Music and vibes are always good. Recommended location.

Place is great to hang out good atmosphere. Drinks not so good they lack alcohol and dont taste that good for the price. B

Went there recently on a Sunday night. Good vibes. The DJ was outstanding.

Really great staff from the door staff to the bar staff. Which is why the 4 stars but the music was too loud to hear what anyone was saying and the DJ was playing house nothing to get you up and dancing it didnt warm you up then bring you down and up again was just the same tempo the whole time. The vibe was nice the people were friendly and the drinks were expensive.$30 for a shot and 1 drink with a mixer maybe thats normal but for me its definitely not.

Its always a great place to have drinks and hear good music, and if you like to dance even better!

Friendly bouncers, staff and DJ. The crowd is not always the best, but the good house music makes up for the vibes during the weekend.

The club is so small. It feels so tight and crowded. And its a much more mature/older crowd than normal clubs in SJ or SF. Resident DJs are not great.

Great bar. Loved the fact theres actually a dance floor with people dancing. More of that vibe then a sit down bar/restaurant like the other popular bar down the street. Dark and when I was there many women compared to men. Small, somewhat tight space. Some couches in the back by the bathroom. Dj booth in corner.

My friends and I are all 22 years old and the bouncer didn’t let in one of my friends because he thought his ID was fake. From the beginning the bouncer had issues with us for no apparent reason whatsoever. What’s even funnier is that he let in our friends that were girls with no issue which, if you ask me, is really creepy. Management was outside and didn’t seem to care at all.If you are in Campbell looking for a bar, literally go anywhere else. Poor management, poor bouncing, and pretty much empty inside for the brief moments we were in there. Not worth anyone’s time.

It was super quiet (Wednesday night) but the tunes were good, volume was loud enough to feel the beat, but not so loud you couldnt talk, and the dancefloor had plenty space to boogie. Lady behind the bar was welcoming and chatty. Great night - just what we needed.

Great little dance club/ bar. No cover, but the drinks are expensive. The staff is good, the drinks are strong and the music is excellent and contemporary. My wife and I use it as a place to blow off a little steam, after dinning out in Cupertino. Their is a nice mix of ages, demographics and socioeconomic groups. Everyone is there to have fun, drink, dance and maybe make a new friend. Planning on showing up a couple times a month, we love it. Thank you.

Its a small bar tucked away in the middle of the downtown Campbell strip. Staff and security are polite and knowledgeable, drink prices are right at the median for that area. Please tip well and behave yourself!

I went for the deep house music by Mr. V. While Im disappointed that his set consisted of about 15% deep house, 85% pop, 70s-80s dance mixes, the drinks, atmosphere, and overall friendliness of the staff and people did not go unnoticed.

First time here with some friends. Thought it was a nice lounge. Drinks were good and priced right. In downtown Campbell and walking distances to many bars and restaurants.

An amazing place to randomly find myself dancing to superb house music in the South Bay. When they have house music, all walks of life from the area gather round and everyone is grinning from ear to ear. The best times dancing the last few years have definitely been here!

I love it here & come all the time, especially after dinner somewhere nearby in dt Campbell. Tasha is my fave bartender in the whole world - she knows what I want even when I’m not sure what I want (she asks about your taste palette and serves up something delicious & strong based on that!) Zach is great also, and security is top-notch. Can’t say enough good things about the people that come in & make the vibe what it is. Wednesday’s are my fave because of hiphop, but on the other nights the house is some of the best I’ve heard. The talent (DJs) are on a rotation and they are what make Cardiff consistently amazing. I come to Cardiff because I know it’ll be a good time!

Best spot for a weekend night to hangout with friends and have some drinks. Service is top notch, love thier crew and they also have the best DJs playing amazing house music.

Who knew you could find good house music in Campbell? Heard about this spot from a friend and decided to check it out despite my reluctance based on the local. Place is awesome and reminded me of places like 26 Mix, Club 6, Liquid, etc., spot I used to hit back in the day in SF. Dont know when Ill get back but if Im in the area, Cardiff will be on the agenda.

My absolute favorite bar. Any time I want to go out and enjoy myself, Cardiff is the first thing to come to mind. Dancing the night away to the sounds of house, with drink in hand and the disco ball spinning, what more could one want. Everyone is always friendly and the staff is great.

No draft beer, music wasnt great. Was open late on a Wednesday night and people were there, so we had a pretty good time.

Good music once the dj gets setup (usually by 10pm). The bouncers are polite and relaxed. Easy parking. Good atmosphere. Diverse crowd.

Now what I like is the good crowd. Place itself is a bit small or maybe too many people like to come here. Not sure. Bartenders are good in mixing the poison and music is good. I had good times and so did my friends. When in town again I will come back for sure.

Ive been an attendee of events here since 2007-2008. Theres always a decent crowd (both in number and attitude), respectful bouncers, and heavy pouring bartenders. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sundays, House Music is playing. Wednesday nights are hip-hop night. Not Lil John OKAAAAAY type, but classic, lyric-driven, conscious hip-hop. There is no TOP40 played at this spot, and thankfully there never will be.Reading lots of previous reviews, folks are really pissy about the whole No CA ID thing. After talking with the owner of the venue, as well as his bounce staff, I can break down exactly WHY they have this policy in place:A person with a suspended license (usually happens with a DUI) has no license, so is left to obtain valid identification by using a CA ID. Theres nothing wrong with this, but by weeding out patrons with CA IDs only, he prevents suspended license holders from coming in and drinking, which is probably what they did to get themselves in that position to begin with.Sometimes the rules dont make all the sense in the world, but theyre there as a safeguard for both patrons coming into the establishment, and the owners responsibility in providing a chill, drama-free environment. If you dont understand that, then this isnt the place for you.

Its Campbells version of a dive bar while still being friendly with a mix folks coming through here, looks like they had a dj the night we went, drinks come quick

Genuinely the best music in San Jose, the DJs here are easily San Francisco quality house DJs. The dance floor is small but fun, no cover charge, and decently priced drinks. Wayyy less douchey than Campbell bewing co down the street which is easily one of the most douche laden bars in the bay area.

DJ plays mainly burner electronic music, with occasional splash of R&B, reggaeton, and normal edm. They are the last club in Campbell that was able to keep there license after the scourge of 2018 nightlife from the city. This club is a sausage-fest graced with appearances of drop gorgeous dimes looking for some fun after a swirlz (or two).

$2 off beers at happy hour. This includes a well chosen selections IPAs and even one Icelandic beers!The well drinks, which are usually the cheap liquor variety at most bars, are top notch here: Jack Daniels, Captain Morgan, Kettle one vodka: best bar in town🍸‼️

It should really be called The Vortex because once you go in its easy to lose track of time with the music, and drinks!

Great music and fun crowd, usually. Bartenders charged us different prices for the same drink. Vodka soda was $15, then $10, then $15. Its not a $15 dollar drink kinda joint ...

Eddie the bartender was amazing, great customer service and he recommended the best drink based on my preference, the apple martini when I didnt know what to order! They didnt have the all the ingredients for it either but still was able to accommodate my needs!

Downtown Campbell for dinner? Take your self over to Cardiff and dance it off. Theres always a DJ spinning something funky! Good vibes, casual place. This is a Campbell landmark

Not too bad for Campbell, not comparable to the spot or Campbell brew co, but those clubs are closed so this is the only one left

Havent been back to Cardiff in a while but after last weekend, I had to give an updated review. As I approached Cardiff, a group of passing idiots regurgitated pure ignorance, yelling things that included ASIAN WOMEN!! and I CAN SAY WHATEVER I CAN AND GRAB YOUR ASS!In disgust I vented to the bouncer as he was checking my ID. Right at that moment, those FOOLS came back!! I pointed them out and the with a stern look, the bouncer said, I wont be letting them in.Its a small act but I instantly felt safer. Just wanted to say thank you.I remember rounds of drinks and fun energetic music. Totally chill place to stop by as youre bar hopping around Campbell.

Always get great service. Music sucks. Like techno 80s. Definitely calls to a crowd on ecstasy, you probably wouldnt enjoy this place sober.

Good house music to dance to. Convenient location in downtown Campbell to go dancing after eating dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Love Cardiff. Everytime ive been theres good house music. Wish it was bigger tho. Gets packed.Make sure theres a DD. Cops can be sticklers.

Too loud. Wont serve you if youre wearing a tank top on an empty Tuesday night, regardless of if youre the only two patrons in there. Ill take my money where I may drink in comfort.

Quaint little spot. Mellow and refined vibe. Dtla parking always sucks, lyft or uber preferred. Craft cocktails are on point. Would be better if there was more room to dance.

They charged me for water and then took too long to let me get my drink. One bathroom and no where to feel comfortable. Place is a hazard since they let too many people in at once.

Its ok for dancing. They cleaned up the interior so its not as dirty as it used to be. Cocktails arent very good and a little over priced.

This bar has a throw back feel with plenty of liquor to offer. Do not come here, however, if you are looking for beer on tap. Only bottled beers available.

Its a fun place for drinks & dancing when you out with a crew. Not the best for meeting people because its really LOUD !! WHAT..... I said LOUD !! WHAT.... Never mind 😁

Great atmosphere but drinks are pretty pricey. Plan to spend over $200 if theres 4 or more of you.
