Clark Salon & Spa Floatation, Cold Plunge, and Halo Salt Therapy

This place is incredible! They offer such diverse services from being a hair saloon to red light therapy, cold plunge, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have personally been doing the Cold Plunge therapy and its been extraordinary. Owners Keenan and Bonnie Clark are very welcoming and always professional. Also I would like to mention Alison as well for wearing several hats at the office and always being willing to help.

Before getting my hair done with KARA at Clark Salon and Spa I would use a different hair girl every 6 months because I was never happy. SHE IS THE BEST! She always delivers exactly what I ask for and if it’s not exactly what I ask for IT’S BETTER! She creates an extremely welcoming environment, she knows what she’s doing and doesn’t take forever to get it done. I will always count on her when it comes to my hair. I’m obsessed.

I absolutely love Clark Salon & Spa and Tori is the best! She always makes my hair look great and I have found products that help my hair thrive. :)

The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The Fire & Ice room paired with the Float therapy was amazing. Highly recommended this place if you need a nice recharge for your body and mind!!!

The salon employees are always very professional and I LOVE the quality of all services I receive there. I struggled for years with my nails and now I get compliments on them almost weekly with my appointments booked out through the year. There are also many talented hair stylists at the salon but Ryan is my go to girl ;) One thing that stands out above all other salons I’ve been to is their efforts to make your experience all inclusive and relaxing. They offer TONS of different services—a one stop shop! And they’re always adding fun, new things like their new fire and ice room and floatation therapy. I haven’t personally done either, but I watch many happy customers come and go from receiving those services as Alison works her magic on my nails. Also I’ve used their massage services and general gift certificates for many happy recipients birthday or special occasion gifts. I’ve truly built a relationship with these guys and love going out of my way for the service, products, and experience every three weeks.

Words can’t describe the level of satisfaction I have with this wonderful salon. My mom, who is a senior citizen, has been coming here for over 10 years and love they show and the care in which they take with her during everyone of those appointments over the last ten years has been phenomenal. Allison is smart, savvy and cares so much for all of her clients and truly enjoys her job both as a nail tech and manager and it shows. Run, don’t walk to enjoy this salon as much as my mom does!

So, after seeing a Groupon and being genuinely curious, I booked a couples float at the spa for me and my bf today and phewwwwww.... we are super chill now.I have some notes for myself when we go again but if youre thinking of doing it, do it. ☺️🧘‍♂️💫My notes:Eat a light meal prior to your appointment.Make sure you do a little meditating or quiet time to clear your head so that you can fully relax once youre in.You will shower before and after.They provide robes, towels, and even hair dryers, etc.If you book an hour, its actually 2 hours. You need time to take a tour and ask questions before, undress and shower... and then shower and redress after.Also, just like you would if youre getting a massage, dont plan too much after so you can enjoy the benefits of the relaxation.

Alison does a fantastic job with my gel nails. Ive been a client with her for over 13 years. Always amazing work, customer focused and makes you feel like family. Ive also tried the floats, which is a very relaxing experience. And Kara does such a superb job with my cut and color that it lasts for months, which is great for styling, my schedule and budget! Clark Salon is always clean, staying on top of the industry and focused on the customer experience.

Alison, as well as the whole salon, takes such pride in her services. She does the best job as a nail tech, doing everything by hand while using no tools. It’s such a pleasure to have great conversations with her and Rachel, who also does a fantastic job, while she works her magic on my nails. I actually look forward to each visit! And I love the fact that if I have a lifted or broken nail I’m still only charged the amount of the fill in, meaning no extra charges, unlike most of the surrounding nail salons.I’m always getting compliments on my nails. I would, and do, highly recommend Clark Salon for not only nails, but any salon service you need! They have always been more than professional and always with a smile on their face.

Kara has been cutting my hair just about every month for almost two years now. She is very personable, loves to talk and laugh, and overall a pleasure to be around. She is very quick with her work and always allocates time for a hair consultation during my appointment to discuss my hair goals and offers great styling and product advice if I am wanting to try something new. Kara and I both have a curly/wavy hair type so I truly value her input and could not imagine working with any other stylist. I recommend her often.

Kara is an amazing, professional stylist at Clark Salon and Spa. She is so talented and sits down one on one and talks to you about what you would like and or need to achieve the look you are going for. I trust her 100 percent with haircut and color and have always loved what she does. She never cuts more than you tell her and I always leave feeling so happy and pretty. Clark Salon & Spa is THE ultimate relaxation and full beauty experience! I have never had a poor service here. My nail tech, Alison, is one of a kind in talent and customer service. I always leave my nail appointments fully satisfied. Their nail services are drill free and my nails thank them for that!I have also had hair services done (color, cut, and conditioning treatment) by several of their stylists. I have thick, naturally red hair and I am very selective with who I trust to perform hair services on it. I can honestly say I have always left happy! I cannot recommend Clark Salon & Spa enough! I love this salon and spa it is modern and clean. Clark offers the best quality in terms of products and services in the area. I’ve had an all around great experience at Clark Salon. My hairstylist Amber is awesome! I came to her after having bad highlights done at a different salon, then on top of that I added an organic box dye to cover up the highlights…yikes. She corrected my color while keeping the health of my hair top priority. She also adds a cranial massage during the wash process. The front desk is great too! I couldn’t be happier!

I went to Rachel S. and told her of my concerns with my hair. It was too long, flat on top and would not hold a curl. Rachel gave me layers and the perfect length. My hair looks healthier, has body and now holds a curl. I would recommend Rachel because she listens to your concerns and finds a solution. Ive been coming to this salon for years and they always make you feel welcomed and want you to be happy when you leave!

Wonderful full service salon Alison has been Doing my nails for many years and always does a fabulous job. The aesthetician is wonderful and my hairdresser. Sarah is fantastic. My first cold plunging experince at Clark Salon was amazing! I love the unique set-up in the room with the sauna right next to the tub so you can go back and forth to maximize the results. Glad I can go to this place to help speed up the recovery process of injuries and muscle soreness. I cant wait to see the long term benefits also!

I love my stylist Elise! She always listens to what I’m hoping to achieve with my hair. She explains what steps she will need to take to get there. Kara is the best in the world in 2020 I decided hey let’s go to great clips and chop off my hair add some bands oh was that a bad cut. Kara was so great fixing it for me and so nice she never pressured me to get more haircuts I only go 2 times a year and always ask for her she takes extra time to make sure my hair is dry she helped my neck pain by recommending to shave under my hair in the back! After I had my daughter she helped me understand why my hair was falling out like crazy and she even said she would do low lights on my hair next fall (I am a natural red head with really thick virgin hair most stylist will not color my hair even if I ask) she always helps me decide on what would be best for me as I am low maintenance buns all the time but don’t want long hair she just the best and even though I only go 2 times a year she remembers me and my daughter which is crazy for someone you hardly ever see. She is the only person I will let cut my hair until I’m dead and she will cut my daughters hair when the time comes. (Photo from my last haircut)

First time floater and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and thorough in their instruction. The facility was clean and well kept. Went in for my first appointment at Clark today and couldnt be happier! First times at a new salon with a new stylist are scary on a normal day and I was betting all my chips going in to cut off about a foot of hair!Kara did an amazing job on my hair. She took the time to consult with me first on what I was looking for so we were on the same page and did exactly what we talked about. I love my new cut which works great right out of the shower or with a few minutes of styling. Kara was polite, kept a nice conversation going, and was attentive to what I wanted. She will be my go-to from now on for sure!The salon is very nice, clean and spacious. They also offer nail services, massage and facials, which I will be checking out on my next appointments!Five stars!

The contrast therapy (fire and ice room) was phenomenal. I did a 30 minute session and was able to fully immerse myself in the experience. The infrared sauna is Bluetooth compatible, so I was able to listen to my music in the sauna without disturbing any other guests. I finished with the cold plunge, and my body feels refreshed for sure. Also to note, Ive only done a cold plunge one other time so I definitely did what my body would allow. Its not easy but its worth the mental and physical feeling afterward.

I had my first experience with cold plunge followed by sauna at Clark’s salon and spa tonight . It was challenging but not impossible to let my mind go and except invigorating cold water . Breathing was not enough for me the first time . I gave God thanks and prayed to take my mind off of it . As the clock slowly ticked by I began to relax dare I say enjoy the moment . Before I knew five of them had passed . I almost didn’t want to stop . Wondered how long I could go . I decided to get out and enter the sauna . Where the warmth radiated on my skin and I breathed deeply . I began to notice I could lift and move my arm above my head without pain . I’ve had a torn rotator cuff for several months now . I repeated the process one more time . Entering the bath the second time was much easier . The whole experience left me shivering with excitement. I can’t wait to do it again . Thank you Keenan , for bringing our community such a wonderful enjoyment .

I can say after having poor experiences at a well known local salon that Clark Salon hits the nail on the head for customer service. Ive had several stylists cut, color and style my hair and they ALL did a great job. My hair is a challenge for most so that was impressive to me. Some are better at styling than others but they all cut and color fabulously. I also get my nails done there and its a completely different experience than going to a traditional nail salon. They have great massage therapists, extensive waxing and ALL of the services Ive had there are great. Most importantly to me, they treat their customers with a ton of appreciation, respect, professionalism and courtesy. Their referral program is fantastic. Trust me, they are the BEST and right here in our own backyard in Canton!

I’ve been seeing Mary for about a month now and she’s an amazing massage therapist. I was in a car accident and what she’s been doing is seriously helping my neck. I was in so much pain a year after my accident, even after being with a chiropractor 3x a week. Mary is really getting my pain in my neck to a MUCH better place. I went from maybe one massage a year on a special occasion prior to my accent to now one massage a week with Mary. She does an excellent job and is very personable!(Month Older review) Saw Ryan today at the last minute to get my 2.5 year old a haircut. My daughter is very picky with who she warms up to and tends to get shy, but she loved Ryan. The entire staff was extremely friendly and recognized my little one! They all smiled and made positive/nice comments about her. We felt very welcome and not once did I feel I was inconveniencing them by bringing a toddler to a more upscale salon. She will now be our routine stylist.

As a business owner I get lost in the chaos of technology and stress. I routinely get massages as a mean of relaxation BUT!!.. the float therapy at Clark salon and spa was by far the most relaxed Ive ever been after an hour of pampering! The heaviness of life hits everyone, it weighs us all down in different ways.  Flotation therapy lets you leave the weight of the world in the tank.  As a husband, father of 5, leader of a 100+ person company, and long time competitive strength athlete, my body, mind, and soul are all greatly impacted by the different weights I carry.  Floating had allowed me to find a weekly appointment to shed all thats weighing me down, and be rejuvenated in body and mind to engage and succeed in all that Im called to do in life.

Emme is amazing! Always listens carefully and gives you exactly what you want. Sometimes I am not sure how to update my color and Emme makes wonderful suggestions to help me think it through. She does a great job with cuts and styles! Highly recommend!

Rachel at Clark Salon is absolutely the best! She does my color & cuts and makes my hair look amazing each and every time. My hair is long, curly and would scare most but she consistently does an incredible job and I wouldnt trust anyone else.

My wife scheduled a Deep Tissue Massage for me a week in advance. I was really looking forward to it as I had seen positive reviews on this spa. I checked in early and waited 30 mins only to be told by the receptionist that the therapist was unable to make it due to her other job. The receptionist said We wondered if she was going to be able to juggle both jobs. I thought that comment was unprofessional as I didnt need to know that as a customer.Issue #1 - I shouldnt have had to wait 30 mins to find this out. There should have been a reach out to the therapist at least 10 mins into my wait if she were not in the building especially with the foreknowledge that there was a potential for her to be late or cancel due to her other job.Issue #2 - While the receptionist did apologize and offer to reschedule, there was no offer to make it right for the time I had wasted and for that reason I chose not to reschedule. Their intake form states that there will be a charge to the client if there is not a 24 hour notice of cancellation prior. This has always seemed fair to me when practices have that as a policy, however it should go both ways as my time is equally as valuable. I was not expecting anything for free, but some sort of offer to compensate (maybe a discount on a reschedule) for my time would have been appropriate.Bad impression for a first time (and last time) customer.

Clark Salon is my go to service provider for hair, nails and multiple spa services. Their service professionals are highly trained and offer exceptional service. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for salon or spa services.

Had my very first Float experience today to try and get some relief from a severe neck strain. I was apprehensive initially with me being a bit claustrophobic and someone who simply cannot relax but I was desperate. Wasnt sure I would make it through its entirety but boy was I wrong.It took me about 15 minutes to really relax my head and neck but once I got the hang of it I was in another state of being. I have never experienced something so relaxing in my life. I left feeling amazing and the best part is I got some range of motion back in my neck. Needless to say I am hooked. Its amazing for someone like me who has a lot of tension in the neck and shoulders and someone who cant chill out. I highly recommend going to get your FLOAT on. Thanks so much for the amazing experience, Clark Salon! I will be back!!!

First time Ive had my hair professionally done in 20 years at least. I feel and look like a brand new person. Abby was my stylist and she is absolutely amazing!

The salon is very nice. I dont really frequent them, so Im unsure if the prices seem fair or not. The quality of everything was great, though. The floatation therapy area rivals higher end salons. I personally didnt care for the experience as I thought it was a minimal form of sensory deprivation, but the place is quite nice.

The float tank is terrific, they were very accommodating to my timing. I also like that they are open a lot ittle later than typical so its great for weird schedules. also Megan did an awesome job with my cut. I had grown my man hair out for ten years and was finally doing the chop and wasnt missing it at all after she cut it. Ive gotten the floats as gift for friends. its great after jiu jitsu or for those who are looking for another way of tapping into their mindfulness

Was not a good experience. I went in to float yesterday and I was really excited to do it because I usually have to go down town to float. So when I found this place that was closer to the house I was pumped. When I walked in the ladies at the front were very welcoming. They showed me around and what to expect. I went into the float tank and the music kept cutting in and out which is not what you want if you are trying to meditate. Then I just cut the music off. I put in ear plugs to help stop any outside noise. I was laying there trying to get into a meditation state of mind and I here what sounded like a basketball bouncing over and over again and car doors shutting. The whole reason I float is to try and meditate and detach from the body, well you can not do this if you keep getting distracted. I then turn the music back on I am almost in the state I need to be in and the music shuts off again. I just laid there and was getting pretty frustrated. I guess there is a parking garage under it or something because I kept hearing car doors and people down there. Finally it got quit I was almost in a meditation and then boom time was up. When I got out my skin felt a little weird so I get in the shower to wash up and then conditioner won’t dispense from thedispenser. It was by far the worst float I have ever had. I hate leaving bad reviews but when you pay good money to do something like this then you don’t want loud noises all around you and music going in and out. There is nothing worse than having to start over every time you get distracted. The lady’s at the front were awesome the experience was not. I hope they get these problems fixed sooner than later.

Tried something new and it was a nice experience. The float was an Epson salt to help relax you and and allow you to float in shallow heated water. There was a choice of music and lighting or no lighting.Even able to contact the staff if you need anything while your in the pod. It was different. Checked it off my things to try.

Literally the best deal for membership when it comes to float sessions. Having the ability for unlimited floating for $99/month is a straight killer deal. Every single other float center I have checked have no unlimited float sessions and have a much higher price per month. I will forever stay with this company when it comes to floating and encourage everyone to take up this deal. Dont sleep on it!

The worst, blockiest ombre Ive ever seen, and she tried to tell me it was my fault for declining toner (I didnt mind if it was a little brassy because I *had* been planning on using developer-free semi-permanent color on it, so I just needed a light base). Toner adjusts the tone of the blonde, it doesnt fix a bad fade. Even going back and getting it toned the next day, it was still noticeably blocky. I had to go to another salon, and pay AGAIN to get it fixed because I will never let them touch my hair again. So thats 4 dye processes on my hair that Ive been growing out for 7 years, in 10 days. Its about as healthy as you can imagine.

Clark salon goes above and beyond the expectations of their clients. It elates me to know I have the BEST salon around. The management team treats their employees like family. The entire staff is friendly and caring to every need.

If you want excellent quality then this is where you want to be. Tonianne took the time to ensure we recieved the best service possible and she did an amazing job. All of my best hair cuts have come from her skill and meticulous eye. I highly recommend this salon and Tonianne in particular.

As a business owner myself, it always pains me to leave a negative review of any small business because I know how it can impact rankings as well as sales. I assume the owner is going to try to get this removed as they’ve removed the others (see Yelp for more reviews)I found their groupon for a 60 minute float, something that has been on my bucket list for a while. I am epileptic but have been on medication for over 10 years. I do not have tonic-clonic seizures, I have what are called complex partial seizures which are annoying but are low risk. The only reason I do not challenge myself off medications is because I’m also an EMT. That being said, everything I do that is on my bucket list gets run by several healthcare providers and if even one expresses concern, the idea is set on the backburner. In this way, I have gone skydiving, snorkeling, swimming with manatees, white water rafting, learn to fly a helicopter, horseback riding, vision quests, a modified Native American “sweat,” and modified whole body bungee jump (twice).Imagine my surprise when I was told after driving 3+ hours to get to the spa and checking in that there was a problem because I was epileptic. I had researched much information on floating, and knew many epileptics who said this was one of the most peaceful experiences of their lives. One of them even went to that spa just a few months prior!The groupon did not state that epileptics were not allowed to have a floatation session, nor did they ask this when I scheduled the appointment. On the waiver one signs, there was conflicting information. The first section said epileptics must be on medication, while the second part just asks if you have a list of conditions including epilepsy. I checked off epilepsy and told the young lady.She claims she is going to talk to the owner, she reports back that there is a slow strobe light in the sensory deprivation room. (Who puts a strobe in a sensory deprivation tank?) I ask if she can turn it off, she says she can. She says ok I can still go.Over an hour and half later and now 20 min past my appointment, the lady who the other one said was the owner, said that she spoke to the owner and they said I still can’t go because of liability. That I should have come in with an approval letter and even then there was no guarantee that they would have let me float. It would be really difficult to come in with an approval letter if you have no way of knowing one was needed! Also since I had physicians knowing, if I had been told this issue at 10 am when it first came up and not 11:20 am, I could have had one of my healthcare team fax a letter or even the “prescription” in 10-15 minutes ready for my 11 am.Since they had already redeemed my voucher and gotten paid on Oct 1, I spent the next 30 minutes on the phone with Groupon telling them about the situation and trying to get a refund which rarely happens once redeemed.I went to my doctor’s appointment as scheduled this afternoon. While he was not as upset as I was, he thought all of that was complete BS. He also said I was in no danger and was horrified as to how I was treated. I have not yet told the one who was the doctor who was encouraging it.On the way home, I spoke to a client who basically writes the policies and pays out insurance claims for a company that insures a lot of spas, community pools, and yes floatation tanks etc. I was told that since I had been seizure free for a number of years and was on medication and had physician approval, that claim they made was not valid. This makes me wonder if there was another issue at play. If they really cared about epileptics, they would not allow them into their spa at all due to the scents they have which are also known seizure triggers for many epileptics, although not me.

Today was my first time experiencing floating. If you have not tried this, make an appointment right away. If you can imagine closing your eyes and comfortably floating on a cloud through space while your body is rejuvenated, call and get this treatment scheduled right away. You will love it.

I recently started Floatation Therapy at this salon in hopes to relieve my nerve pain. It has been so relaxing and has released so much tension and stress. I highly recommend it!!!!

I did the sensory deprivation float tank after getting a Groupon. It was a really unique relaxing experience, and the customer service was great. They guide you through the whole process, and provide everything you need.

My girls and I love Devon! We always leave the salon happy with how she has cut and styled our hair.

Float spa Was a wonderful experience for me and my mom Emily the desk attendant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and sweet she explained the entire Process to us and it was overall definitely an experience. Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10. Thanks Emily.

The float tank was an absolute blast! I have not done anything like that before, but I will definitely do it again. The staff was really great and helpful as well.

I wish I knew about this place a while ago. I go for my nails and pedicure. Never a disappointment, always pleased. Atmosphere is great. Great place where I immediately feel relaxed.

I had a scheduled appointment for a Floatation session. Within less than 5 mins my body started to itch intensely once I stepped into their floating unit. I went to my locker to get my cell phone to use the flashlight on it (the float units are dark with only a glow light). Only to discover their flotation unit had black mold and dirty body partials (that were not mine), floating in their unit. A clear indication that the unit was not cleaned prior to my session. Considering we are in the midst of a pandemic it was disgusting and horrible that this spa/salon was neglect to clean the unit according to the various State and Federal guidelines. As the result of being allergic to mold, I had severe headaches for several days and rashes developed on my body shortly thereafter. I was told I would be refunded the amount I paid for the session in cash and never received my said refund. Only an apology (via text) from Alison Martin that saw the photos and the dirty unit while I was at the spa. I haven’t heard back from them since. A day at the spa should be relaxing and not left being horrified and triggered by spas going forward due to their negligence, lack of professionalism and disregard to correct the issues they created as a business. They have a duty to protect their customers/clients from the germs and bacteria left from another person to prevent others from being exposed to it. They failed to do so on so many levels. I would NOT recommend this spa to anyone.

Purchased a Float Therapy session for my wife. She enjoyed it very much. She said she could tell the difference in her joints the next day.

I get my hair cut and highlights here. AND I LOVE IT. If you have not gone here you are missing out. I recommend Devon. 10/10 best place ever.

I love Clarks Salon. I use Sarah and their products are wonderful. I do not recommend the Float tank.

Bill has been the only stylist I have used for 30 years. I have followed him from his salon in midtown Atlanta to his location in Canton, and drive 45 minutes to get my hair cut. He gave my son his first haircut 23 years ago and still cuts his hair today. I will not let Bill retire!

Really enjoyed the float. Took husband who’d never done it before and doesn’t really enjoy floating and he loved. Wish it were closer but will be back again at some point!
