MBar- Cantons Martini and Wine Bar

The food is from Jerzees next door. The chicken skewers were cooked hard. The meatballs and pizza were good. I dont eat shrimp. The drinks were overpriced. 3 drinks and not even a hint of a buzz. It was disappointing. The DJ is the star of the story. He set the mood and had the dance floor packed.

The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. It was 3 of us in attendance. 2 of us, including myself, were undecisive. She explained the limited menu and kept checking back on us until we made a decision. The food looked good, but my pretzels were not fried correctly. Tou was able to see how they floated until well done with a half cooked bubble on top gross. We ordered a mango daiquiri and a strawberry daiquiri. Strawberry was like unflavored icy. The mango was perfect puree consistency. I was jealous until my friend shared with me. On the other hand they are usually jumping Friday and Saturday formyou party goers!

We bought tickets for brunch with DJ Smoov. Was very unorganized and not thought out well. We were the first to arrive and was greeted by server who took our drink order. She brought us our Memosas that we ordered. She never came back to get our food order. After an hour which we enjoyed the music we were never asked for our brunch order. Only appeared to be 2 servers for the entire place. Not worth the time effort or money spent on tickets.

We enjoyed this place. Nice location. Drinks were reasonable. $3 cover. I would recommend this place.

Great place to unwind. Good music, food and service. The drinks were really good, I ordered the sugar cookie and it tasted as promised!

The bar was nice and clean. But the prices for the drinks were outrageous. Plus the dress code is annoying. Place was empty. Dont play any good music. Just knock off songs. Cover charge to get in is 5$ per personThe Town Tavern in Green drinks are half the price. My boyfriend Dustin and I will keep going to Town Tavern.

We had my fathers celebration of life here and everything was outstanding no complaints here really beautiful environment and great staff

It had a nice vibe. DJ was on point! The crowd was a little young for my taste, but it was a Friday night. The martini I ordered was ok. They did not skimp on the liquor!

We attempted to have a nice evening out, upon our arrival there were individuals arguing outside of the M bar premises, while we went to park there was a vehicle next to us shooting up. Attempting to walk inside, we were approached by multiple security personnel stating we needed to pay a cover charge of $5 which is no problem, however given the fact you could hardly move in the facility, $5 did not seem worth it. Security was more fixated on collecting their surcharge when there was extreme disruption outside. Smh. Both Jerseys and the M bar have gone down hill tremendously.

You compare this to any nicer bar in Ohio and it’s really just another bar. The fact they enforce dress code so much over all these years shows the security on a power trip and they lack common sense. Town tavern better. Higher class and still shows more respect to patrons.

TERRRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. My group and I paid for a section last night (granted it was NYE) so it was beyond crowded. We ended up having no space because the other people in the section next to us were taking ours over. I we talked to the manager 3x and called security 3x to control the 50+ people in the PRIVATE area and they didn’t do anything about it. We ended up leaving at 12:30 since the security or management couldn’t do their job and take care of the issue like we asked. Terrible service, terrible night… ON NYE.M Bar- if you are an actual club/bar you must monitor who is allowed in and out of the section. Stick to rules.

Its still a great place to go on a Saturday night. The cover charge is minimal, and the drinks are not very expensive either. There is usually a great vj or dj who mixes all of the hits so you can dance the night away, but it has gotten interesting lately. I would still recommend M Bar to anyone who is looking to have a good time on a Saturday night. I will be going there again.

They racially profiled my party and I called the police and stated we were drinking and driving. After speaking with the Jackson Township Sergeant Escola. He apologized for their behavior. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place !!!

Trash. Never coming here again after last weekend. The DJ Saturday was great but everything else that happened was the worst experience I’ve ever had going out. Never coming back to Canton.

The drinks are great, the decor is upscale and the bartenders are very personable. The bartenders are also attentive, so having to wait a while for a drink isnt an issue.The main problem I have with the place is the cover charge after a certain time (8:30 I believe). If theres going to be a cover charge, the music should be consistently good since there is a dance floor. Every time I have gone, the DJ doesnt play music tailored to the crowd when they want to dance. He will play a song everyone is into and will then play a song that kills the vibe, causing people on the dance floor to dissipate. This is every time, whether it is a Friday or Saturday night. More people dancing = more money. Also, as other reviewers have said, ease up on the no tennis shoes rule. Tennis shoes can still look nice. I could completely understand if they were unkempt.

Innovative! You can get busy on the dance floor and see why they stay aHEAD of the competition. Two step, two hands and twist, neck movement to the sound track allllll night! 🎶🎵

This place is a joke. Its in the middle of canton but we got stopped at the door because of our tennis shoes. Why can the bouncer where shorts and a t-shirt? The people inside wernt even dressed that nice. People say this place is dirty and very expensive. We had a better time at bww any ways lol.

I love this place! I love Stephani and her hosting mixology events! I love that everyone takes their time to get dressed and be in that environment! I live nice cute fancy things but also chill and laid back everyone just seems that they come to have fun!

I wish it had more than 5 stars!! I drive 3 cities away to go to M Bar. LOVE THE PLACE!!!!!! ALWAYS A GREAT TIME!!! Everyone is great from the door guys, the DJ, bartenders and cocktail girls. Food is great as well! Its a must go to place!!

Overpriced for the quality and mediocre is the best description I can give it. Atmosphere is ok, dance floor tiny, food... well, if you like frozen appetizers Id recommend elsewhere for a better selection and taste. The bartenders are their only saving grace, they know their stuff... but even so, this is in belden village and its trivial to find the same quality at 10 places inside a mile for half the price. There is a business casual dress code, so adjust your expectations up or down as you see fit.

The service was very, very slow and it was not crowded. The drinks were fine. A bit expensive, but that was expected. It was late and we wanted a bit to eat. So we ordered some food. It wasnt worth the very long wait. The place is worthwhile for just drinks though. Good music. Attractive atmosphere. If you go, order two drinks at a time since service IS SO SLOW.

Overall a HUGE improvement over the previous concept that occupied the space.-Broad age range.-Large crowd every time Ive been there.-Drinks are reasonably priced.-Music is loud and more bass than a passing freight train, but its a club environment. If you didnt expect to get that there, you came to the wrong place.

Absolutely 5 stars. This place is the place to be. Best action and the women you meet there? Theyre the best in this town. This place gets all my money, business, and action!

Do not go here if you regularly follow CDC Guidelines. Most of the staff was not wearing their masks correctly and there was no one enforcing social distancing or that customers wear masks (even though there were about 3 bouncers/hostesses on staff). People were walking around without masks, sitting at tables without dividers, and being seated with more than 10 people. The bar was completely overcrowded with people on top of each other. Will not come back during the pandemic

Keep running and running. Keep running and running!!! This place is small but a legit hot spot. Beats are clean and the staff keeps ya mashed. Small dance floor but who cares? Dance where you are and its all good. Nice outdoor area for the smokers. Vip area looks nice but not vip enough to get in I guess.

Great once inside, but should really elaborate on the dress code rules on your website, I saw at least 30-40 people wearing vans skateboarding shoes and I was stopped at the door for wearing Jordan’s. Brand new. If your gonna say NO TENNIS SHOES that would apply to all tennis shoes not just some.

Country and hip hop. Can bounce back and forth between rooms. Very crowded. A little messy the later it got. 2 people spilled their drinks on me. He staff saw and cleaned up quick!Theyre steps that go down to dance floor and after 1 too many drinks you see a lot of people fall down the steps lol.

Not allowed in through the second set of doors even though I was properly dressed but had tennis shoes on that were brand new. Piece of trash place thinking they are a ritzy night club. They had not more than 10 people in there probably because of their bogus rules. Cant wait to see what goes in there next after they are shut down due to ridiculousness

The reviews are hilarious. But martinis are five dollars until nine most days. Dont wear tennis shoes for Christ sake. Looks a lot better than the pub.

I consider myself an attractive, well presented female. I was not allowed in this place of business after I happily found an ATM to pay the outrageous cover charge simply because I was wearing tennis shoes. Mind you, I had full makeup, hair completely styled, jewelry, leggings, and a sweater dress. The ONLY thing that kept me from crossing their door was my nice clean, black, pink and silver Brooks! 😦 Im actually grateful they gave me a bad first impression before I spent an unnecessary amount of cash on this obsessive compulsive establishment. I mean...please, Canton. Dont act like you are Las Vegas. There is simply no comparison.

The MBar has a nice ambiance. I usually attend the mixology classes that are held there every month. Stephanie and the other bartenders are fun, energetic, and you can tell they love what they do. I highly recommend checking it out.

Bouncer / security should have proper class/training about rules/policy/regulation and should imposed on all customer with regards proper dress code. it’s not ok to let go of anyone wearing inappropriate clothes and dress code. don’t be just net picking. rules is rules that need to be imposed.

Only reason I gave 1 star is because I cant give 0. We drove over an hour to go here, and had to go somewhere else because of some dress code. We were stopped because we had shoes on, and told we werent aloud in with hats and shoes. We said we would remove our hats, but didnt understand the whole shoe thing, considering over half the club were wearing tennis shoes. We pointed this out to the manager, and she proceeded to tell us that all those ppl wearing tennis shoes mustve snuck in. Really? Did she tell all of them that they were breaking the dress code and had to leave? Nope. They called the cops and had them flex their power. We werent being rude. We were just asking for answers on why we werent aloud in when alot of ppl were there breaking said dress code. Thats discrimination. Normally I would let this go, but not this. Something needs to be done about their rules, and blatant discrimination torwards certain ppl. Pics and videos prove they were wrong. Save your time the hassle. Find a better spot to hang out. These ppl dont deserve business.

Not a big fan of M Bar, but I prefer my bars a bit more low key. Its impossible to ever find seating in here, the drink prices are insane, and the crowd is more middle-aged than anything else. The only time I find myself in M Bar is when I want to dance in the winter, and even then I will get my drinks at Jerzees and carry them into M Bar to avoid the prices.

Nice ambience. Smalll dance floor but good loud music. Enjoyed the music thoroughly. Went on a Friday night - hardly any people there. Not many vegetarian food options .

Thank you so much to everyone last night my son and I walked in not knowing that they didnt open for another hour! However they welcomed us and let us in and served us! My son had to leave today to go back home and this was our last chance for him to go to MBar before leaving...thank you all for being so kind he absolutely loved it!!! Not too shabby. Recently had a makeover from the Pub/Paninis....Different look. Essentially the same. Lowered dance floor. Big sound. Dancing. People are pretty chill. Its connted to the bar next door that plays live music often.

Wore yeezys and was turned down entrance. I watched multiple people with many other forms of tennis shoes enter but the shoes that I payed hundreds of dollars for was not good enough. I will not attend this bar until these rules are review/changed.

Food was good bar food. Comes over from Jeerzes. Reasonable prices. Service was excellent. The decor is a little to disco retro and the waitresses outfits were a little to hoaky. This is Canton Ohio not Vegas

Its ok if you want to go to a strip bar because that was all I seen there for the holloween party was mostly half dressed girls I have been there before and that was not what I seen it was classy people there but not that night

This bar is a joke. It’s in canton Ohio. Not letting you in because of wearing Nikes... apparently if you want a Las Vegas/LA experience, come here. However, don’t wear Nike’s, or any sports ware. (Makes you look broke).

Was going in for bottle service with 9 people and was planning on spending 1000$ + but they wouldn’t let my boyfriend in because of his shoes! Bad choice on the owners fault! Will never return. Only reason I gave them 1 star was because I couldn’t give them 0! What a dump anyways!

Great 3-tiered environment! Dress up for M Bar, dress down for the connecting sports bar and enjoy live music, or party outdoors on the patio with a great dj under the stars!

After the events this weekend, I better not get dress coded at MBar ever again.

Very disrespectful staff. I walked in and bought 20$ In drinks with a tab open walked out for a cigarette and was shoved off the patio by a heavy set 6’3” bouncer that grabbed my beer out of my hand and threw it in the trash can named John. They will be hearing from my attorney.

Extremely crowded, fun and exciting but, its not the age group for me. The crowd is very young. If youre a teenager or in your early 20s. Its the place for you.

There is definitely a mix of people here. Saturday night is always much more busy than Friday night.
