The massage overall was decent and relaxing, however their was a language barrier that made communication a challenge. Online I made a appointment for a deep tissue massage and cupping, but rather I just received a massage. I even checked in with the host to confirm and she confirmed cupping with my therapist, yet I still did not receive cupping. I also added a extra add on the Reiki energy healing, and yet I did not receive it. They seemed to not understand me and blatantly agreed with me not knowing what I said. The host also rudely answered a call when I was speaking with her. Since this place is rated 5 stars I expected at least good communication. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place to anyone.

This is the best massage place, hands down! I spent 10 years looking to replace a massage provider after I moved into the area. Natasha is highly skilled, intentional, calm, strong, and attentive to the various issues from my sore muscles from my workouts. Outside they have relaxing seating and plants, the indoors is calm and soothing. They seem to be always busy.

Beautiful experience doing Reiki healing . It was my cousin and I first time here and we both enjoyed the new experience. You feel so much more relaxed and aware of your thoughts and it’s nice how you get some insight as to how to move on carrying forward. I was informed that several of my chakras were blocked and how to keep them unblocked . Overall kind people here and beautiful environment.♥️ We shall be back .

I just got back from a massage with Jasmine and it was one of the best massages I have had! I booked a deep tissue massage and that is exactly what I got. Deep tissue is not for everyone but it is exactly what I needed and my body feels fantastic! I cannot wait to book another appointment with Jasmine. Also the place is very nice and you immediately feel relaxed walking into this space. I highly recommend!

I will just start out by saying Ive had memberships at Massage Envy and used them in multiple different states and a few other high rated massage therapist on the east coast as well as mid west and others in San Diego county.... I express that I need my messages Hard, not soft not med but hard. From east coast to west coast I havent found anyone... Male or female to be able to fulfill my needs... until I met Ms. Dao at Mantra Karuna... she was absolutely perfect... which is why I will be continuing care there. She knew exactly what my body needed.Thank you for the best care I could have asked for.

I loved everything about this massage. Online booking was easy, very user friendly and hassle free. Google maps took me to the place without any pains and found parking right away. The moment you walk into the building you can hear soothing sounds and smell nice essential oils. I was able to let go for those 60 minutes and think about nothing other than how good I was feeling. Highly recommend it!

Amy was so amazing . I had the hot stone massage and cupping done. She was very kind and educated on what she was doing. It wasn’t like some other places. She found my aches and pains. The place is quite , clean and very Zen. Definitely will be back!

First time my wife and I were on Valentines day (90 minutes couple) and we had one of the best massage of our life. We were so excited that we found such an amazing place. For this experience we give 5 ⭐.After one month we decided to go for another massage and was a disaster. The massage was not even close to the one on 14th of February. We were rushed. On top of everything the masseuses stopped after one hour even if we had 90 minutes. When they realized she started to perform such a bad head massage just to pass the time. I even asked her to move to shoulders because was soo annoying. Unfortunately we cannot return. It was $300 with tips included and its unacceptable to get those services. For this experience is 1 ⭐. Thank you!

It pains me to write this review because there are SO MANY positive ones, but here goes...I walked in and was barely greeted by the person at the desk who seemed overwhelmed. She asked my name and pointed to a chair along the side. She didnt say anything to me at all. She was examining the appointment book which had me wondering if I had the right day or if something was wrong. My therapist was running a little late, which was fine, it happens. I booked a 60 minute massage and 15 minute head/scalp. Massage was good though I wish I wasnt face-down for so long. Thats on me. I shouldve voiced my discomfort. My big issue was that I only had maybe a 5 minute scalp massage. I was really looking forward to it which is why I paid for it as an add-on. I dont know if she just spent too much time on the regular massage or what happened, but I also dont think I was in the room for the full 75 minutes. I was offered water or tea when I checked out, but didnt want an open cup of hot tea in the car for the drive home. The location was ok. I understand they just moved, but its in the corner of what is almost like a strip mall. The inside seemed a little rough. Again, maybe still settling in after the move, but not what I was expecting based on all these reviews. I was really looking for a new spot, but sadly, I wont be returning.

My husband and I had a phenomenal first experience here, a 60 minutes couples massage for our anniversary last year and it was absolutely amazing 5 stars all around.Now, everytime weve tried to go back since, our appointment has had to be cancelled. Everytime weve tried to book a certain date or time, the day of a few hours before the appointment we always get a message asking if we can reschedule to another day or push the time back to way later in the day or to separate our appointment (so we wouldnt be doing a couples massage and just individual and have to wait for the other). We were so excited when we first came there that we really wanted to make this our regular place but its been a headache trying to schedule ever since. Very disappointing. This was our last attempt at giving this place another chance but again, the day of a few hours before the appointment we were asked to reschedule.

I am very picky when it comes to massage therapist. I was a licensed Massage therapist many years ago for 5 years when I went into hiatus from being in product management. So I really know how to do massage the right way. I took a chance and went to Mantra Karuna. AVA did the massage on me. She was excellent and did the massage with he way I would have done it. I came here for a prenatal massage at 39 weeks and out of the few I’ve received my whole pregnancy, my experience at Mantra Karuna takes the cake!! The studio ambience is so warm and relaxing. It smelled heavenly and put me at ease. The massage bed set up was the most comfortable I’ve been in with my pregnant body and I was so at peace and relaxed throughout my 90 minute massage. She gently hit every ache and pain without it being too much. I left my massage session in complete bliss and no pregnancy aches or pains!! I’m now a little over 40 weeks and she squeezed me into her massage schedule last minute to help a desperate mama zen out one more time before this baby gets here!

Its been almost a week since I got a massage here from Nok and Im still raving about it! Ive been looking for a great massage for a decent price since I moved to the area and I finally found it! The space was clean, quiet and peaceful. Nok listened to all requests/concerns and adjusted accordingly. The 60min Swedish massage + 15min head massage was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Ill be coming back for sure!

Communicative about any needs, warm, relaxing experience; a full 60 minute body massage including hands and face/head that felt like 90 minutes -- in a good way; Shes receptive and knows how to work muscles without pain and for maximum relaxation. This place was beyond. Beyond what you ask? I can’t even begin to tell you, in the most amazing way.My significant other and I get massages quite a bit, sometimes weekly and often at these more Asian style salons. This knocked those places out of the park, out of the world and out of the galaxy.As long as Paula and Sophie are employed here they will be seeing us regularly for what can not be described as less then a religious experience.Thank you both, we will be back. 🙏

Nok always has a calm and healing energy that is so appreciated in a person who does body work and energy healing. I love her facility and look forward to emerging myself in calm the minute I walk into her cute garden.

I was in the emergency room with a pet, I texted and emailed that I needed to reschedule due to an emergency. They insisted I was a ”no-show”, which I have never done before. They kept my $125 gift certificate, and would not honor it. Disappointed

I love it here. The Reiki sessions are so relaxing and transformational. I also highly recommend the grief massage. An incredible atmosphere run by an incredible healer

Nok fills the room with such compassion. Nok is an extremely gifted healer. Nok focused on my target areas of my neck and upper back with one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had. Nok, was ready and waiting when I got there. Very kind, and VERY SKILLED. I have not had a lot of massages, but this was by far the best.Nok made me feel very comfortable and welcome. A couple of times I was wondering if she was done, but no, she had more steps in her process that really enhanced the experience. I cant imagine ever getting a massage from someone else.

Nok is kind, thoughtful, and has healing hands. Her prenatal massage was soothing and helped my lower back pain and sciatica so much! I fall asleep every time and wake up light as a cloud. I’ve been dealing with severe middle/upper back pain for over a year, and desperate is an understatement after getting X-rays and MRIs, and going from doctor to doctor who had no real answers or solutions to my pain other than diagnosing me with thoracic arthritis at the age of 24. I finally decided to start a regular and frequent routine with a chiropractor, and have made progress but still felt like something was missing. Can’t tell you how hopeful I feel after just one massage at Mantra Karuna with Nok. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and she is hands down the best masseuse I’ve ever been to. I’m sleeping better than ever and am getting my range of motion back. Can’t wait to see the progress I’ll make by sticking with the chiro and seeing Nok twice a month. Wish I could give this place 10 stars!

At 38 weeks pregnant, I finally caved and decided to get a prenatal massage for myself. Since I am already on maternity leave and I am trying to stick to a budget, I first decided to check Groupon for a deal. I got lucky and found Mantra Karuna, which is only about 5 minutes from my house. I called on a Sunday and made an appointment for the following day, and was able to get right in (thankfully - because this baby could truly arrive any minute!).The location is easy to find, and there was parking available right out front. Nok greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, invited me in to the space where I was given time to undress and lay down. The bed was SO comfy, even while initially laying on my back. Nok has a wonderful, calming presence and voice to match. I felt relaxed from the very beginning. She had me roll onto one side while she added pillows under my belly and between my knees for comfort, and got right to work.The pressure, intensity and rhythm was perfect. Nok was so methodical even in the way she removed and replaced the sheet and cover each time she rearranged them to work on an area, I was surprised I wasnt asleep in the first 5 minutes. She moved from my back/neck on one side, to my legs, to my back/neck on the other side, feet, décolleté and arms, scalp... it was truly heavenly. At the end of the 60 minutes she began the reiki, during which Im pretty sure I tuned the world out. At the end of the session, Nok gently thanked me and let me know I could take my time to get up and dressed.I am truly grateful to have found Nok and Mantra Karuna, and would absolutely recommend her services to anyone, pregnant or not. I joked on my way out that I would definitely be back, but AFTER the baby arrives, because otherwise the total relaxation I was feeling would likely send me into labor. Might not be a bad idea, though, if baby decides to be stubborn and take her sweet time... :)

Made an appointment on a Wednesday for a Friday morning after I started a new work out. Felt so sore and stressed but after my session had more energy and felt like I was standing much taller. Calm energy and clean room. Will not disappoint! Very competitive pricing alongside other spas in the area.

Nok is a a wonderful massage therapist. I received a 90 min Swedish and she did a great job relaxing my sore muscles. Her table is also very comfortable and she used hot towels throughout! I get massage regularly and Nok definitely delivered the nurturing, calming massage I was looking for.
