If I could give 0 stars I would. This is twice now I’ve come here and they have tried to over charge me! One time they charged me at least $20+ dollars over what I was charged. And last night I bought 1 drink for $5.56. I remember tipping $1. Making my total $6.56. But it’s pending for $25?

Good just some of the bartenders seem only interested in helping guys other than that free water and good prices plus great music love coming here when u have a chance

We play cornhole league there on Wednesday evenings. Service is awesome and just a friendly environment. Wish they had food.

Great staff! Good sized venue. Good drinks. Good music. Loved having Uptown Friday Nights here with The Mixtape tonight!! Parking is less than ideal, but you cant fault the bar for that. We will be back.

Nice bar, friendly atmosphere, roomy all over, inside, outside and even the bathrooms.Last night Lonesome Road was playing which was great but the place was a bit empty. Still a great time though. Prices for drinks is not too high. Will come again for sure.

Can I rate less than a one? If you are 52 with gray hair make sure you bring your id when you are hosting a 22 year old bday parry. They will kick you out. Unreasonable experience. Understand they have a college crowd but seriously, I have gray hair and am obviously I am over 21.

The music, drinks and bar staff were great! However it felt like the other staff treated the whole crowd like a heard of cattle. It was a very busy holiday night and I know that means a very long night however not everyone in your establishment is there to cause trouble….I did not appreciate being yelled at while being “herded towards the doors over 20 minutes before 2 am. Please consider a bit more patience and handling the people causing problems as individuals.I used to spend a lot more time at Hazards years ago and do not ever remember being treated that way.

On 10/7 a security guy had paid a customer to choke out another customer and as it happened the security just stood there while other customers broke it up. Do not recommend this place.would give a zero and they don’t answer the phones when you call to complain. Doubt they even pay attention to these…

Great atmosphere!! Nice people working!!!Bouncers, waitresses, general staff, everyone seemed nice and professional. I had fun without worrying about the typical bar stuff. It was a fun night out. I recommend this place.

It was a good night there made a few new friends. The drinks where cold and at a good price. Had pizza from the food truck it was awesome. Made fresh as odered and took only a few minutes. The bartenders where all very good and nice guys. The Karaoke guys was good too.

Im 46 and it was just too much of a young crowd! If youre looking for a big dance floor and pool tables this is the place

Good to see some friends again. Needs some bands there. Update: you just lost one star because I didnt drink tonight. I rarely drink now. I was in the bathroom cleaning off the puke from a toilet. Now the security kicked me out for being a nice guy cleaning up someones puke? Strange....

I usually go here every weekend. I love the atmosphere and the music! I love Brett, he gets my drink right away and is always friendly. Same with the security staff! The only complaint I would have would be the restrooms. But what can you expect, its a very busy place! Keep up the good work! :)

Ive went to Hazzard many times. Always have had a great time. Great staff and good music. Gets a pretty decent crowd. Its nice when the beer garden is open and can hang out outside. I take family there when they come in from out of town.

Super cool spot! Big and open with tons of space! Corn hole, Jenga, and other fun things to do. Outside area with picnic tables and umbrellas, tons of seating, and there was a food truck on site. Sad I didn’t take any pictures, but I’ll definitely be back!

Had other then country music playing but nice crowd and spread out. With indoor and outdoor seating and open air space. Was nice but polish boots for some scooting and had to step over scooters. Will go back tho.

Came to Iowa from Washington for a wedding. Only spent 24 hours in Iowa and 6 of them were spent here! Best bar/saloon Ive EVER been to. Amazing nightlife. Amazing drinks. We felt very safe here thanks to front door & walk around security, Chill dudes. Weve already talked about coming back to Iowa just to go to the Hazzard County American Saloon

Fantastic bar! Definitely the most popular of the Cedar Rapids area. The staff are friendly and the security is always on the look out to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time! The bartenders make really good drinks that are fairly priced for what you get, and there are various DJs that come and really spice up the country atmosphere! 10/10.

The place is great! LOVE this club!!!!!! My friend Mikey Z is there wed n thurs nights 9 ish to 1:50 bar time doing karoke! fri n sat nights theres dj skittles there! Check their website or pm them for the times of the dj! 😁

Would love it if they changed the songs up at least a little bit. If you go there Thursday-Saturday nights, you will hear the same songs every night. Gets kinda monotonous. Im sure theres been more than 20 country songs ever made. Other than that, I have a good time most of the times Im there 👍🏽

This is the #1 spot for 1 year high school reunions, three 19 year olds walked right in without getting IDd in front of me. This place would be out of business if it wasnt the only place in cedar rapids that played loud music. Cant wait for that rooftop bar to open up

If you have a license that is issued by any state other than Iowa, be sure to MEMORIZE every date on it before you go to this bar. Or better yet, no matter where youre from, go to any bar in Cedar Rapids other than this one. My daughter and 11 of her college friends have gathered at our house this weekend for a little reunion before they all head off to grad school. They asked my husband and I to give them rides downtown so they could go check out Hazzards and a couple other bars. The bouncer at Hazzard County IDd them and let them all in, no questions asked, except the one girl who had an out of state license (MN)....and the reason is because he asked her WHAT DATE HER LICENSE WAS ISSUED and she was off by 1 year!! I completely understand scrutinizing an ID, but how many people know the exact date their license was issued?? The funny part is...if the license really was a fake, she would have certainly had every date on it memorized! My husband even talked to the bouncer a few minutes after the fact to vouch for her and assure him that the license is not a fake and the bouncer was having none of it. He didnt care if she was of age or not - he didnt want her business. The entire group promptly left and took their money elsewhere. Hopefully, anyone reading this review does the same.***Judging by the owners/managers snide responses to any poor reviews left here on Google, he/she could use some serious customer service training. If I had read any of these remarks before taking this group downtown, they would not have stepped foot in this bar in the first place.

Was here on St. Patrick’s Day. I’ve never been in a more crowded place. It took, no joke, about 10 minutes to get from the door to the back corner of the bar. To get a beer? Even longer. It was a mostly white dude crowd and it seemed half of them were peacocking around looking for a fight.I don’t frequent Cedar Rapids bars, but there has to be a better place to go.. unless you like squeezing through crowds bumping into douchebags looking for a fight and waiting 15 minutes for slightly above room temperature beer.

Wife celebrated her Birthday at Hazards. It was awesome to see they prioritized people celebrating B-days/ Anniversaries. Reasonably priced drinks, and good atmosphere.

I really do like this place. Im a fan of the country atmosphere, and the bartenders take care of you if you take care of them (the same as most places). Overall a good place to bring a group of young people from the country if they are up for a good time that night.

No place like it In Cedar Rapids. Lots of room, tvs playing live sports and food served. The staff is amazing and their barback is the best Ive ever seen. I dont know how one person keeps everybody stocked. Ill def be going back there and I suggest everyone do the same.

Went on a Friday, staff was very rude, bouncers very unprofessional. Bathrooms very dirty. There was feces all over the handicap stall. Puke all over as well. I will not be going back! Owner made a very petty response and checked on the bathroom a month after my review....yikes.

Cheap drinks, good music, great stage for dancing. A must-visit bar in downtown CR if you’re into loud country music, drunk & fun-loving folk, and dancing. A go-to bar for most of the college kids in town, but a good hangout for people of all ages (21+ of course).

Hazards usually has a good crowd. They also have pool tables and dart boards if you want something to do. If you’re not into loud country music though, you might want to try a different bar.

This the most racist bar in Cedar Rapids. Kicked me an my friend out because we were light skin? They wouldn’t tell us why we had to leave, they kicked us out an called the cops??

Security removed the men who were harassing me and my girlfriends. Then a guy who appeared to be the head of security came over and talked to us to reassure us! Good vibes.

Had fun judging a Karaoke contest. The bartenders were nice. Great stage to do karaoke and sound system.

This place is absolutely terrible when it comes to cleanliness, hospitality and simply everything else. The staff is the most unfriendly Ive ever encountered. I would highly suggest not stepping foot in this establishment unless you enjoy ruining your shoes, buying over priced drinks and being treated terribly.

They have some games to play like jenga, cornhole, darts, and beer pong. The music is usually pretty loud so prepare for ringing ears. Staff has been helpful and fast each time weve gone

Its always fun at Hazzard county if you know what you are in for. Its the trendy young people club of CR. Decent wait staff and crew move drinks pretty quick in this sometimes crowded bar.

Only bar in town where you can set your watch by what is playing. DJ hasnt played anything new in the last year. Doesnt even switch up the order. Only reprieve is when theres a band with is 10x better.

Hazzards Country American Saloon is your stereotypical small county bar - and it couldnt own that label any better. Hazzards plays excellent country/country derived music that is perfect for dancing and drinking.Hazzards is not good if you are looking to sit down and have a conversation. The venue is more geared to dancing and is usually very loud and crowded.

We love going to hazzards when we go downtown. Great atmosphere, great music, fun games inside and great bartenders. (Alysha is amazing, go check her out and give her a great trip😄)

This is a nice bar in the middle of downtown. Good place for large crowds. They have ice cold beer and great mixed drinks and lots of gorgeous women.

Its just ok. Its set up very weird. I could see it as more of a place for a rave but used as a country bar doesnt fit it. It gave me an uncomfortable vibe so I couldnt really enjoy myself

Definitely different from the rest. When the DJ puts on the line dances the place comes alive. The drinks are as expected and the prices are reasonable.

Definitely not a place for the older generation. Too loud and too crowded for me. But from the looks of it the younger generation was having a blast.

Such a huge space with so much going on! They have a dance floor, DJ, large bar, darts, pool, beer pong, bags, outdoor seating, bands, food truck, etc.

DJ plays same 20 songs every single night. Love the food truck outside though!

Great party place before and after the night life starts wished they had food rather than a food truck.

Looks country, feels country, smells country, but I heard a lot of rap music?! Im confused. luckily i was pretty buzzed and had a great time anyway!

Have been to this establishment and spent a lot of money have ignored a lot of drunk people but recently was physically assaulted and then made to leave I wasnt intoxicated they obviously were I was made to leave and they were allowed to stay even after physically assaulting me .
