Clean, comforting, and calm used to describe the atmosphere of this spa. One of best massages is performed by Kiya for both pregnancy and regular body massages. She is easy to connect with, maintains a relaxed ora, and uses the right amount of pressure for targeted areas… always a pleasurable experience!!

I have been coming to Bambu for over 10 years, 10 YEARS!! Jeff has been amazing and always respectful - I have had some sketchy experiences in the past and am so thankful that I can trust Jeff. The experience starts when you walk in: relaxing atmosphere with beautiful decor, front desk staff that are extremely friendly and attentive, and the seasonal scents of candles that are also available for purchase (hand poured soy candles that burn clean). The space is always clean, always. The massage oil they use is great, especially the coconut oil they use in the summer. And, the essential oils available for aromatherapy are such a nice touch. Professional - exceptional customer service - a value that is incomparable!

Kia was absolutely amazing! Great personality and great communication. She also KNOWS what she is doing and made me feel so comfortable. This was my first ever prenatal massage and I feel so relaxed and relieved after my visit. I highly recommend!

Bambú Massage & Jeff have been my preferred massage therapist for over 10 years. His organic oils and tried and true massage techniques soften my skin and soothe my aching muscles unlike anyone else. His homemade, clean burning soy candles allow me to have the same relaxing scents at home. I always knew he had found his niche and that it wouldnt be long before his business expanded. Made an appointment online for a basic focused massage, 20 minutes, nothing fancy, I just needed my neck and shoulders to get a little relief from muscle tension. I selected any for the therapist because it doesnt matter to me. I was sure that anyone would be able to do a good job with that. They called to cancel my appointment saying that the therapist doesnt do that kind of massage and Im left confused. I would think in massage school you would learn neck and shoulders in your very first lesson. Maybe I was bumped for a more lucrative appointment? Because I just cant imagine that a therapist would not be able to do such a simple massage. Its disappointing as its in a great location and I would have liked to start getting massages on a more regular basis. Giving two stars because the lady was polite on the phone.

After cancelling my membership at another establishment, I decided to give this place a try. I booked with Shondolyn and I am so glad I did! She is beyond amazing and she is gifted with her hands! I also recommended my husband to start going here as well. The front staff is very professional and courteous. The atmosphere makes you feel relaxed and calm as soon as you walk in through the door. And I love the fact that they dont have a membership program. Highly recommended!!!

I purchased a gift card for my girlfriend online and presented it to her on her birthday so she could setup a future appointment. After use, the receptionist named ASHLEY did not know how to use/charge the gift card and told my girlfriend she didn’t see her name in the system (under my account because I booked the gift card through my account) and proceed to read other names from years past (2019/2020) which were females I’ve dealt with prior. However thanks to ASHLEY’s incompetence my Girlfriend & I couldn’t work things out after ASHLEY’S mistake and this company never reached back out or apologize for sharing Information that eventually costed me my relationship when everything was going so well.

Ive been a Bambu Massage client for many years. When I walk in Im immediately relaxed. The atmosphere is inviting and very relaxing. I get deep tissue and/or hot stone and the service is always amazing. I highly recommend Bambu.

Paid $45 for a 30 minute massage that lasted 15 minutes. They asked for payment and tip before it started and stated that they gave me two extra minutes.. I didn’t argue but won’t be back. 4.7 rating has got to be a joke.

Ive been here a few times and had two different massage therapists as well as a facial. Ive enjoyed every experience Ive had here, and plan to keep coming back. Every staff member Ive interacted with has been very nice and professional. The interior is relaxing as well. I will likely continue to come here for my massages even after we move to a different area of the city. I have nothing but good things to say.

I decided to give this massage place a try for the bamboo massage. It was an interesting experience. If you prefer deep tissue I would stick with that. The bamboo sticks do feel good but they dont work as deep into the muscles as a deep tissue massage. I did have some bruising on my forearm from the bamboo sticks but it wasnt anything painful. I got a massage from Matt, he did a good job and was professional. The front desk is polite and welcoming too.

If I could give Bambu Massage & Spa 10 stars, I would! I personally know the owner, Jeff, and all the massage therapists are amazing. If you need a relaxing escape, Bambu Massage & Spa is the place for you!

Tina was amazing and I was very impressed with her technique and knowledge and her presence. She really pays attention and she got rid of all my tension. She is very thorough and it’s not exaggerating to say it was probably the best and most therapeutic massage I’ve ever had! The prices are also great for the value. I had an appointment scheduled at noon this past Sunday… My therapist never showed up and no one offered any reason, though I was told my therapist would give me a call. I will say I appreciate how apologetic the lady at the front desk was. I have always loved you guys, I’ve been a loyal customer for a few years and have no interest in looking elsewhere for my massages. Any other day I’d have a 5 star review. That being said, I find the business integrity to be hypocritical. You can charge your client a no-show fee, but the client gets nothing in return when the same happens to them? Damage Control…. Businesses these days don’t seem to care about wasting anyone’s time.

Ive gotten two 80-min deep massages with Angie and really enjoyed them. She was attentive to the areas I told her I have issues with. The prices of the services are very reasonable and the staff is professional. I would recommend this spa.

Hands down most professional...contrary to other reviews...and BEST massage experiences Ive EVER had; and Ive had a lot. Jeff (owner) is outstanding and my favorite therapist however all therapists and Melissa (aesthetician) are knowledgeable and provide excellent services. As long as they are in business I will be a loyal client. 😁👍

Pretty insensitive. Scheduled a prenatal massage for my wife and we ended up going to the ER instead. They had no compassion, they only cared about their cancellation fee and called and texted my phone numerous times in an hours time while we sat in the ER worried about our child.

Matt Arnold is the best massage therapist we’ve ever experienced. Where they lack in ambiance, they make up in value.

I have had several facials and massages from three different people and I can give this place nothing less than 5 stars. They are always fantastic and provide such a calming atmosphere, even in the waiting room. Different masseuses provide different amounts of conversation so if you enjoy silence that is an option while others are happy to talk to you. There are so many different options and I very highly recommend this place!

I always have a good massage here! Haven’t done any of their facials or other services, but their deep tissues are always helpful and relaxing. Tina is really good and is not shy about getting those tough knots out!! Aroma therapy is good too, but I don’t always get one. Make your appointment in advance since they are very popular! Tip-stock up on their gift card deals around the holidays and use them over time to save some money.

I go to Carolyn and she’s great! I have been going to her sense I moved to Charlotte a couple years ago. She’s always very nice and makes you feel comfortable. You can tell she is very knowledgeable about what she does. The place is nice inside and it’s a good price.

Bambu Organic Massage is hands down the best. I’ve seen Matt several times and always have an incredibly relaxing session. He’s professional, has great communication, and is always sure to focus on any areas/issues I am concerned with. The location is super convenient and the waiting area is always clean and calming. I am new to area and was looking for spa that was comparable to where I would go when I lived in Maryland. I was surprised to find this one so close to home. I decided to take advantage of their monthly special but without the $15 discount off the Swedish Massage, their prices are still very reasonable. I was assigned Kiara and she did a great job. She was able to tell me what areas were tense, she was engaging, making sure that I was comfortable at all times. It was understandable to see why her customer before me was eager to find out her hours. Needless to say, I made another appointment before leaving. The only reason why I didnt give it 4 stars is because although calming, the waiting area is small. Im looking forward to my next visit.

Great place to get an affordable massage. I have been following this group of Massage Therapists for over 10 years! I have been to multiple therapist and never had a bad massage. Meghan is currently my favorite therapist, but seriously no matter who you go to, you cant go wrong!

I visited here this past year and booked myself for a massage. I am not too sure if I will return because It was a very disappointing experience. I felt as if I could have never really enjoyed the massage that day. Overall, everyone is always kind, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere itself has always remained clean and peaceful however, I just may have to find something different this time around.

I had a great experience here, but unfortunately the facial I received made me breakout horribly. I received the Be Pure or something like that facial. I hate to leave a bad review because I genuinely had a great experience. The staff was so friendly and I felt so comfortable and relaxed while I was there. I will probably go back for a massage! I will not be going back for a facial though. Im already so self conscience of my acne and it has been so much worse in the week following my facial.

I started seeing Tanisha a few weeks ago. We could not figure out why my pain was recurring. After I was diagnosed with spine issues and I shared with her she put me right on track. She is wonderful, easy to talk to and so empathetic. She really knows her stuff!! I haven’t fell like this in a long time. Go see her if you need to be fixed, you will not regret it. 😉

My masseuse was Michael. He did a fantastic job 👍. I will be returning here for his services since I have decided to get a massage monthly. The environment is clean and calming. This place is also very close to my home and that makes it super convenient.

Very nice atmosphere. Very relaxing. Of course the massage is never long enough. It takes 50 minutes for me to stop being so tense and finally enjoy it and then BAM!! Its over. Ugh. I would suggest getting 120 minute massage. Its worth it here. Cant wait to go back and try a facial.

The facility itself is very nice. That alone earned it one star. The massage itself was so light and fluffy NOT the deep tissue I requested. I have a lot of problem areas and really need the massages. I was branching out today as my old massage therapist moved out of state. When I complained about the service I felt like I wasn’t heard at all.

Today was my first visit to Bambu Organic Massage. My expectations for a pleasant and professional experience were met. The spa itself is warm and inviting and Matt my therapist gave me an awesome 90 minute deep tissue massage. I was holding lots of tension in my neck and shoulders which he successfully released. I highly recommend Matt to address your therapeutic or relaxation needs. I will be back.

I cannot say from personal experience what a massage here is like, I dont get them. I have purchased several gift cards from here though, mostly as birthday presents. The recipients have had nothing but nice things to say, and have really appreciated their experiences here. For my part dealing with the staff at the front desk is always nice. The swedish is apparently a good entry point for folks getting their first massage, and for more experienced people looking to get the knots out, their deep tissue massages are great gifts.

This is the only site for me. I usually get a deep tissue massage and Ive never been disappointed. Due to double quad surgery, Ive been immobile for months. So, I decided to try a lymphatic massage. Carol explained the procedure and the benefits of the technique. She is awesome and the massage was on point. I booked another session.

This was my first visit and I left very disappointed. I had the bamboo stick massage with Matt and although i explained what I needed, that didnt happen..he briefly used the sticks on my backand the rest of my massage, he just rubbed me lightly with a lot of oil.so disappointed. I asked for deep tissue

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! The BEST massage I have ever gotten!! Make sure you get Matt!I have had many massages over the past few years (prices ranging from around $30 to $70) and have at least moderately enjoyed all of them, so when a LivingSocial deal popped up for a 50 minute deep tissue massage here at Bambu Organic Massage I figured Id give it a try.The lobby area is really small, but the massage rooms are spacious and relaxing. The massage table had a heating pad and lots of blankets, so I was comfortably warm the entire time. My massage therapist was Matt (mentioned in a previous review), and he was absolutely amazing! I arrived early but didnt have to wait because he was already there at the front desk. Matt talked to me ahead of time about what kind of pressure I liked and was very responsive when I asked for a harder massage. Halfway through he even asked again how I felt about the pressure because he wanted to make sure he was right on target (he was!). Afterwards, he let me take my time getting my things together and met me outside with a glass of water. He was very positive and friendly throughout my experience, and I would 100% DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM (especially if youre a fan of deep tissue massages)!Full-priced deep tissue massages are $60 (with $10 off if you have a business card) which is very reasonable for such an amazing experience. I am definitely coming back to get all of my future massages with Matt!

When I tried to call the day before to rebook or cancel due to not feeling well. I asked for someone to call me back. Instead, I was hit with a cancelation fee. When I called Asked why what would they prefer me to do? Jeff the manager threaten me and lied instead of being professional. I would never go there again. My husband was upset and couldnt believe how he spoke and handle it. With covid would you prefer for her to go to her apt when she tried calling and canceling the day before. No one picks up or returns your call. Done...never again.Reply: you are absolutely lying!!... I never threatened to come down with covid why would I do that! 😡Nobody calls me back the next day. I got a cancellation fee first! Without a return call. I called again to ask can rebook because I wasnt feeling good and didnt want to come in sick. Doing the right thing!!!. You charged me with a fee and your staff person said I cant help you! I ask who can help and would you prefer customers to come in sick instead of trying to rebook? That what I said!. You reply dont threaten me with covid and I never did!You are dramatic, overreacting, insensitive, and unprofessional. There was Nothing peaceful about this experience! If you have a customer sick and try to reschedule so they dont get other sick wouldnt you prefer that????? You were rude from the gate.The professional thing would been I am sorry youre not feeling good lets rebook we wouldnt want you to come in sick. You have no choice cone in sick or $25 cancellation fee. That is what happened!!!. Especially a returning customer...My husband who has a client he referred was disgusted by how you were talking to me right off the gate. I was on speaker when you called and returned your call. Be careful to not lie! I will never come here nor my clients or husbands again. Be professional Jeff. I have been going to Bambu since before they changed locations. I use to just get whoever was available. But once I got Brianna I now only book with her. She is great. Very relaxing and pleasant. Always a great experience.

Since going to Michael Mendez for my massages, my outlook has been great. It’s a totally relaxed feast. Meaning mind body and spirit. The removal of stress, pains and worries. Treat yourself at least once a month. It is totally worth it!

The environment is clean, spa like and most importantly RELAXING! The staff is supper friendly, helpful and well trained to answers any questions that may arise. No doubt this is one of the best places in Charlotte for massages. I have been here few times and totally love them. Clean place, courteous and very friendly. At the end of each session I come out feeing relaxed and de-stressed.

MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN. I was so disappointed. My husband got me two gift cards for my birthday for deep tissue messages . I guess no one had any training on deep tissue messages. The sad part is that I had to go back because I had another girt card and I didnt want to waste his money I was so mad. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK . YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED .

Poor poor customer service before booking my appointment i told them female therapist only . booked a couples massage for july 3rd then it was switch to july 2 then to july 1 all in a matter of 4 days Due to no female therapist available for my time slot. The male receptionist i spoken with yesterday was so incompetent sounded like a college student i got so frustrated i just cancelled my appointment
