I cannot say enough about this place. I would give it 10 stars if I could! I have gotten a facial and 2 massages here. However I have had facials and massages elsewhere but they do not compare to La Vida! I would recommend both the facial and the massages. Madeline completed my facial and she was very knowledgeable about the skin and recommending products without being pushy. She seemed very genuine and my skin was glowing when it was completed. I have had 2 massages here and both have been wonderful but I would highly recommend Janeane. She was fabulous! The pressure was amazing and will book with only her moving forward. The environment is clean and the receptionist, Emily does a great job of sharing promotions. Their gift card specials are great. The prices are reasonable and have already booked another appointment to go back!

Was gifted a 60 minute massage here and boy am I grateful for that! I’ve always had a tense lower and upper back and never really felt at ease. But after getting the deep tissue massage I can walk and feel pure silk all over my back! Was constantly asked if I was comfortable and wanted any change, incredibly sweet and reliable 🥰

Came in for the facial and came out feeling like 100 bucks! The esthetician was super sweet and considerate of my specific comfort and needs. Charismatic and careful 👌 Place was incredibly sanitary and set the mood perfectly, will definitely come again!

Recently booked a massage with Morgan & she was wonderful!! I added the CBD oil to enhance my massage. Definitely worth it! It helped keep my body/muscles relaxed during & after the massage. It had a nice smell to it, nothing too strong, almost a hint of eucalyptus. It comes in a small container, but I still had quite a bit left to take home with me & used the following day to help with any soreness. I still am using it to help with various pains and it is so helpful. If youre thinking about trying it, you should at least try it once!

Paula is amazing!!! Every 2 weeks I get an amazing medical and deep tissue massage! Paula listens to what is hurting and customizes the massage for what you need! I’ve been going to Paula for over a year and I am so happy with my decision to do so!

Lavida Massage has truly exceeded my expectations, especially when it comes to facials with Madelyne. She is a skincare magician! Madelyne transformed my skin, leaving it radiant and rejuvenated. Great experience! I have done massages and facials here and both have been excellent! Have to give a special shout out to Madeline as she is fantastic with facials and you can tell she LOVES skin care. Such a relaxing and beneficial treatment, she really listens and walks through everything she is doing and why.

Absolutely loved this location the staff was amazing from the woman at the front desk who was so welcoming to both my husband and I masseuses for a couples massage. It was peaceful, relaxing and needed. We ended up signing up for the membership after our experience so that should say it all. Highly recommend

First time coming here and it was for a couples massage during our mini vacation. Laura did an amazing job on my massage! I felt so relaxed afterwards. My favorite part was the scalp massage. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Charlotte! And ask for Laura!

The facility was very comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. My masseur, Angela, I believe thats her name, was just awesome. She gave me a great massage and I felt really good and loose afterward. I would definitely utilize this company again and hopefully, get Angela. I really enjoyed the service.

The receptionist was nice. The therapist, Paula, was also nice.Maybe I am just accustomed to a very different experience, but for me this was the worst massage I have ever had.I specifically mentioned my lower back as a problem area- she didn’t even touch it. She spent a solid 10-15 minutes just rubbing my leg/calf. No massage, just rubbing it. She would stop for a several seconds then start again. This was a total waste of time as my legs were not even marked as areas to focus.She spent a couple of minutes on one foot and less than a minute on the other when I asked for my feet to get more attention. She was using hot stones on my shoulders which I didn’t ask for- I don’t like the hot stones.She recommended CBD for my soreness, which I paid for….this provided zero relief. Waste of money.There was some sort of construction going on in the office behind the room where I was and the constant hammering and pounding was less than relaxing.Paula is nice and I am sorry for the negative review but I spent over a hundred bucks for a massage and I basically got a rub down which is good if that’s what you want and expect and pay for. I really needed more. I am still super uncomfortable, my lower back and hips are killing me and I have flights tomorrow.I did not leave a tip- again I am sorry but I was not happy at all with the service.Also, the facility itself didn’t feel warm or inviting or clean to me either.The people were really nice though.I will stick with Hand and Stone.

Makeisha is very attentive to the details of each sessions consult. She then remembers your needs going forward. She goes above and beyond, offering additional information and education on my specific ailments. Her service is fantastic. I highly recommend booking with her for any needs as she is skilled at many methods and is very knowledgeable regarding why we hurt where we do and how to treat it.Additionally, the remainder of the staff is also wonderful. They keep the vibe light and comfortable, making sure you know they value each of your calls, texts, and/or visits. Its a great team and I appreciate their dedication to their clients!

I recently had a facial and a 60 minute massage. It happened to be on Valentine’s Day. It was exactly what I needed. They are the best!

I like the personalized approach that Madeline takes with my facials. I feel I can trust her knowledge with my skin and every time I come she makes me feel welcome and creates atmosphere where I can unwind and relax. I love the result of the facials, and enjoy seeing my skin in such a good shape. Im still exploring massage providers to meet my needs. The front desk staff is nice and helpful.

A fantastic experience all around. The lady at the front desk was super nice, not pushy or sales-y. My massage was with Gina and she did a phenomenal job. She really worked through my problem areas and ensured that the pressure was good through the entire hour and a half.

So my boyfriend and I scheduled a couples massage on Sunday evening. We were running slightly behind and arrived 15 minutes late. They made us stand in the lobby to fill out the intake form completely as they informed this time will be deducted from our 1hr massage. On the intake form they specifically ask what are your focal points, out of the 25 minutes massage we ended up getting 20 minutes of it was focused between both focal points. Why let my waste my time to give information on a form you are not going to read. I specifically asked for my neck and shoulders and my lower back to be massaged and they werent touched not one time. Even though our time was cut in half and we paid for a full hour, they still wanted to collect the full gratuity for 25 minutes of massage in the wrong area. We book a full body Swedish massage medium pressure and my boyfriends legs or arms was not touched once.

I have been coming here regularly for about 3 years. I am part of the Wellness Program which allows me to have a discounted massage rate. Scheduling is always easy, I just use the app on my phone. The staff is also very friendly! The massages themselves are wonderful. I get deep tissue and it does wonders for my back and neck. Highly recommend!

I visited LaVida for the first time on yesterday and had an amazing experience. Jamie was great and very catering. She hit all of my core spots and I feel extremely relaxed today. She was able to immediately identity that I worked out (Crossfit) by the tendness of my body which says a lot. I would strongly recommend trying out this location. The staff was nice and friendly from beginning to end.

I received one of the best therapeutic massages of my back & neck ever. I have scoliosis and my muscles are always in knots and spasms. Tom, the massage therapist was able to diminish & alleviate most of these knots and muscle spasms. His years of experience & knowledge are the essential element that many other massage therapist lack. I highly recommend Tom for those who have scoliosis, kyphosis or lordosis.

My bi-weekly refuge. My happy place. My me time. While LaVida is a franchise, there is always differences between locations. For me, this location of LaVida has it all. The staff is VERY friendly. The therapists are VERY knowledgeable, VERY professional, VERY good. The facilities are VERY clean and in a great location. Ive been a member for almost three years and have never had a bad experience. I cant say that about other massage locations I have tried. You cant do any better then LaVida Promenade!

I have been going to LaVida at the promenade for several years now and have always had a great experience. I enjoy extremely deep tissue massage and have been able to find several massage therapists who have been excellent. Rachel and Sarah are two I highly recommend if youre looking for deep tissue.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I was in a car accident 6 years ago when a truck hit me from behind. Ive suffered a good deal since then due to damage to my neck and shoulder. Ive been to other massage therapists, but none like Gina Canzano at LaVida. Shes incredible. I am enjoying significant improvement by going once a week. Also, the manager there sat down with me first to discuss my reasons for massage therapy and she recommended Gina as the ideal Massage Therapist. I highly recommend LaVida Massage at the Promenade, and Gina Canzano!

A couples massage that was anything but relaxing. First, they cancel our initial appt. the day of due to a sick employee. Fast forward a month or so, and we show up for our massage. After filling out our forms and selecting (overpriced) add-ons, we head back to the room. On the way, my therapist points out we were late to which I disagreed. She argued as its now 5 minutes past the time she was supposed to start. I explained we arrived 10 minutes prior to the (second) scheduled appt. I wanted to walk out right there. I suffered through the massage, clearly interrupting her lunch hour or something... Once complete, I went to the vehicle so the wife could settle up with her gift cards, she sent me out as I would have said something, unpleasant. The final blow came when they would not accept a $25 bonus gift card because it was expired. Of course, it wasnt expired on the date our original appt was scheduled. (Gee, thanks for your incredible hospitality)Though, I will never return, I will always share my opinion of this place. Garbage.10/22 - Well, Im not sure what shortly is but Ive not heard anything back. This must be how they resolve things.Garbage.

JoNina is the absolute best. I struggled with my leg for 4 months and she was able to get it straight in 2 sessions. She is patient and really helpful with the whole process.

My husband and I both had massages here back to back with the same therapist. Bad massage, only lasted 45 minutes and we paid for an hour, offered us both hot towels and didn’t mention it would be an up charge then took 5 minutes to go microwave them in the break room. Not going back.

After cancelling our reoccurring charge in September we noticing the charges continuing and contacted LaVida. We were told that due to, once again, new ownership they would not be providing us a refund on falsely charged services. With the final direction why dont you dispute it with your credit card company. Which we have now done. Not what we would have expected from a reputable business. Word of advise pay as you go.

Had a massage today here. The massage itself was decent, however when you enter the first time you have the option do add ons. I opted for three of these, including Hot towels, a scalp massage and turmeric for some sore muscles. I got none of these although it was given to the masseuse. I made sure they were taken off the invoice, what is the point of having this option if they are not given. Was a huge disappointment to say the least. I wont be going back.

Christopher did a great job on a deep tissue massage. I have had a lot of pain and back spasms, and I am feeling very relaxed. Clean, soothing environment.

Bought 4 credits for $60 each = $240 in 2020. Little thing called a pandemic stopped my wife from going there to use those credits I bought for her. Now theyre telling me theyre expired because she didnt use them. Really? Ive left messages for the manager to call me to reconcile and they refused to call me back and when I called the store no one picks up.
