This is my home location and I couldn’t be more grateful! The staff are really kind and helpful. Karmelita is very skillful and gives wonderful facials! She doesn’t push products on you but makes sure you know what treatments are best for you.Ben and Walter are also provide great care as massage therapist!Thank you Massage Envy Northlake for your consistency and top notch service!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting massage envy for a massage with Ben and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was soothing, and the staff were welcoming. Ben demonstrated a high level of professionalism and skill, addressing all of my problem areas with great care and precision. The massage was both relaxing and therapeutic, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and free of tension. I highly recommend Ben to anyone looking for a great massage experience. Ill definitely be returning for future appointments!

Im always happy with the service I get at Massage Envy. Benjamin has been my go to for almost 3yrs now. He applies the perfect pressure for my neck back and shoulder which is my most of my aches reside. He is professional, courteous and friendly. He talks when I am chatty and lets me sleep when Im not. He doesnt mind even if I snore a little 😀.The staff is great and super friendly. I wont go anywhere else. Massage Envy is where I experience my best ME time.

This location consistently delivers exceptional service. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making booking a breeze. On the rare occasion that an issue arises, they promptly address it. Ive had the pleasure of being treated by several therapists here, but my recent session with Tammy was outstanding. Her expertise and care provided a truly relaxing experience, and I will definitely be booking with her in the future.

I had a great experience at the ME-Northlake location. I was greeted at the door with a smile and the young lady updated the forms for me (with my assistance) which was great and probably much more efficient than me doing it myself. The salon (including the bathrooms) was nice and clean. Tammy, my massage therapist, was the greatest. I was apprehensive about massaging my face but she explained the experience and it was one of the best parts of my massage! Tammy made sure the table warmer was ok, the pressure was ok, and that I was enjoying my time there. I will be back!

Luke is my go to dude. A really great massage therapist for whatever pressure you need but his firm/deep tissue is what keeps be going back for more. I have had other massage therapists before, but no experience like I have had with him. I am not just an individual coming in for a massage. Luke really treats me as his personal client and that is what separates him from the rest.

My massage therapist (Ben) was awesome. I had a lot if tension when I went in, by the time my massage was over I felt like a new person. I felt so much better I signed a membership. Benjamin was fantastic 👏.

It was very relaxing I really enjoyed it 😊. Entering the office are very inviting. The front desk ladies noticed you once you enter. They make sure uou are ready for your message. Walter are perfect he asked, how are you feeling & what does he needs to work on. The over all experience I enjoyed it. Great location !!!

My master masseur Walter was fantastic. Although it has been a 6 months since my last massage and my 1st stretch session. Today, I felt less stressed. It will take a few more sessions before Im stress free. However, I highly recommend Walter of Massage Envy Northlake.

He was a very nice guy. Has been a therapist for 16 years. But his hands on were not great. The technique was not what I would expect.That’s the only reason why I would t come back. My focus areas were not targeted like my pecs that were the issue.Staff upfront were very nice.

This was my first time visiting this particular shop. The location and store is in a perfect place. My massage technician was Tammy, she is kind and considerate and is an expert masseuse. I came in feeling tired and a bit out of sorts, when I left, I was feeling much better and definitely more energetic, this is my new favorite place!

I always have a great experience with Walter. He makes sure that he takes care of all areas of my body that are of concern to me, once my session is over my body is relieved and ready to go again. I would highly recommend Walter for your massage needs.

Assisted Stretch Therapy with Jerkia has been amazing!!! I can really feel the difference in my joints since beginning sessions with her.If youve never tried an assisted stretch session...youre missing out on some of the best sleep youll ever have!

Jasmine is wonderful! She focused on my upper body just like I asked and let me fall asleep. I usually talk during sessions but I needed to relax today, and it was a productive and relaxing session!

Staff friendly. My 90 minute massage was not relaxing. My entire back is really sore! The pressure was adjusted but not soothing. The rapid tension gun was too much pressure and I would not recommend! Usually the tables have a warmer-but this one did not-pretty cold!

Walter is fantastic. Listens to my needs and does his best to make a difference. I leave each appointment (monthly) satisfied and excited about returning.

Jasmine is phenomenal! Hands of an angel. She’s the reason I’ll drive past a closer location to get to Northlake. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because this location bugs the heck out of you if your 1 minute late (text your phone & calls you to make sure your still coming) after 1 minute. I could understand after 5 mins. We know what time our appt is. Sometimes traffic makes us 1 or 2 mins late.

KARMELITA was my esthetician, she was great. She explained the products she used on my skin throughout the visit. I hope she stays with the company. Its so hard to find a good esthetician these days. I will definitely come back next month to see her once again.

She was wonderful. I had a very stressful week and asked her to concentrate on my back and shoulders. She did release so much! Then I got it back at the front desk.

I had a massage this week with Tammy and my entire experience was amazing! The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming and Tammy made me feel so comfortable even before my massage. The massage itself was excellent. I had a lot of pain and she was able to help me relax and feel so much better and I feel amazing today. Do not go here. I have been a paying customer for as long as I can remember, and while in for my last appointment informed the receptionist I needed to update my card. She said I could do it at my next appointment. The day before my appointment I got a vague confusing text saying I needed to update my card or my appointment would be canceled. Since my appointment was the following day and I was out of town at the time of the text, and considering I was told I could update it when I came in, I proceeded to call the following morning and was told my appointment was canceled despite the fact I had already paid for that appointment. “Manager” was unprofessional and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Will never return. Calling corporate and the BBB over this horrendous experience. Don’t give them your money - I’ve literally paid for this appointment already and they canceled it!

Had a great massage with Jocelyn today! Thats the only reason for the extra star. She was amazing. Found out after my massage that I had been misinformed by the person I had to spoken to the day before. I had been told that I had a credit on my account so my massage would be covered. After I finished my massage, I was told I had to pay. The manager stated that she couldnt help me out even though her employee had told me the wrong thing...because the employee was new. I dont think its professional to make a customer pay for an employees mistake. Eventually, they just took a credit from my moms account to pay for my service. (I was told I wouldnt be able to return if I didnt choose this option or pay up.) I wouldnt return there even if I could, honestly. Im a big believer in good customer service, and the management at this location really didnt deliver it for me today.

I had a wonderful experience here for a 60 minute full body massage! The music, lighting and general feel was very relaxing. My massage therapist, Amber, did a perfect job on all of my trouble areas (neck, back, and shoulders). I walked in stressed about wedding planning and other daily life stuff and left relaxed and feeling much better. I would highly recommend her and will be back again soon!

This was my first experience with Massage Envy. Scheduling was easy - I scheduled online and they called afterwards to confirm. Front desk staff was courteous and professional. My massage therapist Tammy was very kind and put me at ease. She made sure to do extra work on the places I told her were trouble spots and was perfectly willing to vary the pressure she was using when I asked. Overall it was a great experience.

If I could give them a zero I would. I made an appointment online for myself and a friend. I checked that we both wanted female massage therapist. A lady called back to confirm the appointments had been made and during the conversation it was confirmed again female message therapist for us both. The day of our appointment I was called back first. When I finished and walked out my friend was sitting there. She did not get her message because they had her scheduled with a male. She was told she could rescheduled and it would be comped. Brianna called today to confirm her appointment but said it would be $49 and she could have an additional add-on for free. They also said they would go ahead and charge my credit card. An action I did not give them permission to do! The massage I received was very good. However,their front desk is the first thing a person sees when you walk in the door. This company needs better training for their front staff. If you dont follow through with promises made it makes you look bad. We will never be back to this business nor will we recommend it to any of our friends.

This is the worst business ever!!!I was charged full price because I got sick during the day of my appointment. Due to me not feeling well, I accidentally slept through my appointment time. I actually slept until 9:00pm. I called Massage Envy the next day to explain my situation and they advised that a manager would call me back because they’re sure they can refund my money. I’m not sure if I spoke with an actual manager today but this person stressed the “policy” and the “therapist” need to get paid, and I should’ve canceled 24 hours in advance. Ok, well I “the customer” was sick and definitely didn’t plan on being sick the 24 hours prior. They refused to refund my money. I disconnected the call but I’m not going to stop here. I’m very well connected and you just never know who you’re treating poorly.

The worst massage I’ve ever had. Chaotic is the best way to describe the technic used by the therapist. She was all over the place, starting and stopping, applying way to much pressure to sensitive areas. My neck actually hurts from the experience and I have had a tension headache due to it.It was also incredibly hard to book an appointment. My first one had to be booked weeks out, then it was cancelled same day. They offered two free enhancements for the inconvenience however I tried calling 4 times through out the day to book them and could never get through. On the day of my massage I attempted to call twice and still couldn’t get through.Also for those interested in their COVID-19 practices. They have you sign a waiver to confirm you do not have symptoms or have had contact with others. However this is a stack of forms that were copied with the answers already entered “no” for each and you are asked to just sign the bottom.I went to this location because I received a large gift card for a birthday. I still have money left on it after this visit but I will not be using it.

The people at the front are always lovely, and Luke is simply the best.

I went to the massage envy in northlake, nc . I went for my birthday… when i say Tammy did her thing. I did a 60minute massage and also i did the muscle massage also with the machine i can be saying it wrong but the 90minutes was worth it extremely fast but definitely worth it

Team all needs to be on one accord with communication but, from now reading the reviews I see that’s something they clearly lack. “Management” is laughable, super dismissive, & trying to cancel a “contract” that end but, doesn’t auto-renew lol is the most worsesome thing you’ll ever go through. Maybe it’s just this specific location but, it’s definitely not anywhere you want to do business.

Really think they need to be understanding with clients who want to continue coming monthly. Missed my appointment due to getting stuck in work meeting, offered to pay a smaller fee, and they still charge full service fee no matter reasoning. I was happy with the therapist here but the customer service was very frustrating. I will not be going back needless to say, makes me sad.

I called the Northlake Massage Envy location back in August to cancel my membership. With the current situation regarding COVID 19, Im just not comfortable receiving massages any longer. I received the cancellation form and sent an email with an attachment the same day. I realized a couple of months later that I was still being charged monthly for the membership fee. I called back to inquire and was told that I would receive a call back. I did not receive a call back. I saw yet another membership fee charged and called back again. They said they did not receive my email. I forwarded the email I sent in August and was told the manager would give me a call. Still no call back. I called them again and was told that the attachment I sent was blank. So instead of calling me to let me know that there was a problem with the attachment, they did nothing and just continued to charge me monthly fees. While I acknowledge there certainly was a problem with the attachment, good customer service would have been letting me know that after I have called several times to get this membership cancelled. They have received months upon months of membership fees from me that I have not used. The least they couldve done was shown a bit of integrity and called me to let me know that the attachment was blank. I would have gladly recent the email and corrected the problem, but that would have been too much like right. It was much easier to just continue to charge me monthly for services I havent used since before the pandemic started than to give me a call and inform me that my form had a problem. This certainly solidifies the fact that after the pandemic is over, I definitely wont be coming back.

I had a scheduled appointment I was unable to keep. Massage Envy then withdraws $95 out of my account using the excuse that’s their policy for a no call no show. I’m so sorry me being at urgent care during the time of my appoint caused me to forget about a massage. I spoke with Chantal over the phone who assured me repeatedly that she could not refund my money because of their policy. I repeatedly told her no one informed me of the no call no show policy and she said there was no way to verify that. I told her if I could not get it done over the phone I would come to the shop to talk to the manager. Then the lovely Chantal told me if I showed up she would call the authorities. So you steal my money AND call the police on me?! Wow unprofessionalism and poor customer service at its finest. Chantal eventually put me in hold to “reach out to her manager” who told her to go ahead and issue me a refund. Needless to say I will never use Massage Envy again and will do my best to deter anyone/everyone I know from patronizing them.

The actual massage was great, but when I called to schedule it, I asked for a $55 massage to use my gift card. I booked it and got it, but when I got ready to pay, I was told that they dont do $55 introductory massages and my total was $95.I was actually thinking about becoming a regular customer until that happened. No, thanks!

Nice atmosphere , friendly and attentive staff from the receptionist to the masseuse . Only negatives were that an area that was requested not be touched was . It was the scalp only because I didn’t want the oil in my hair because I had places to go after and that my massage time was 45 mins instead of 60. Other than that she was really great, very accommodating to me being pregnant and was great at working out my knots.

My experiences at the Northlake location caused me to discontinue my membership with ME: Several months ago someone elses session was charged to my credit card; I was told it was due to the patient having a similar name as mine (= NO EXCUSE!) Today I booked my chosen therapist for a same day appt, but several hours in advance; When I arrived I was kept waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled time, THEN a different therapist was substituted without asking or informing me in advance. I received absolutely no benefit from this session for the $65 that I paid.Addendum: As of this date both incidents that I have described have been resolved to my satisfaction. Hopefully ME procedures at this location have been revised to prevent future occurrences.

The massages were pretty good, but the rooms are cramped and dreary. This means high humidity during the couples massage my wife and I had detracting from the relaxation portion of the massage. Its not as quiet as Id like either due to how many rooms they packed into the place.

The last review was great based on my therapist ONLY. This week is totally different. I knew something was different....and it was confirmed. Changed massage oil and its terrible ! Feels like a scrub😡 They debit your acct monthly for a 1hr massage which is not ever 1hr, it depends on when they greet you, wait for u to undress and decide to enter the room for massage. At first it was great but Ive seen service decline and the benefit to themselves increase. Even though u pay 65 monthly for service they still charge u additionally for u to gift YOUR massage to a friend or family member including spouse. If u cancel your appt less than 24hr prior but u reschedule when u call to cancel they penalize u and take away a 30min massage from your acct. Really becoming frustrated with them. Cancelling my membership and Im sure they will give me a limited time to use what Ive accumulated or take them away, even though theyve been paid for.Signed:Longtime Client No more....

Decent location. Nothing special. Not the first location I would recommend for a deep muscle/sports therapy massage. I have tried the most highly recommended masseuses for deep/sports as well, so I did not form this opinion on just a single encounter. The front desk receptionists have all been very friendly and helpful and sad to say the best part of each of my visits.

Had a wonderful experience a few days ago. Staff professional and very friendly. I will add this monthly massage to my budget as a Must have item.

Their membership is a joke if you try to cancel. I sent in 2 times to freeze my account and nothing was done was charged the following 2 months. Go to cancel it and of course there’s a “10 days processing”. Not only that but it’s a game of chance on who you’re going to get for a massage. The good ones are booked up all the time and you get stuck with someone who is new or isn’t the pressure you want. Go somewhere else. It’s like this at all their locations.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this Massage Envy location. The therapist that I worked with did a great job working with my troubled areas and it was very easy to be relaxed around her (thats the whole point!).I would definitely go back to this location and recommend it to friends.

The ladies at front desk are not friendly at all. I had an appointment and when I got there the African American lady said she was busy and I should go to talk to the other lady next to her. That lady never had a smile on her face, and told me I lost my appointment because I never call back to confirm. First, I was never told I had to call back if I wanted to keep the appointment, I understand I have to do that if I need to reschedule or cancel not to keep it. This doesnt make any sense. I was looking forward to having my facial after a long day at work, but instead I felt mistreated. This lady was rude and never explained why the company does this, never apologize. I will never go to this location.

On October 20, 2020, I spoke with Alexis, Manager for Massage Envy at Northlake, 9733 Northlake Centre Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28216 regarding my membership at her facility. I requested my monthly membership of $55.00 at Massage Envy be cancelled and a refund of my accrued fourteen (16) sessions be made back to my account as soon as possible. According to Alexis, their current policy prohibits this. I can only cancel and forfeit all monies and sessions, or continue to pay $55.00. This is not an option for me due to extremely poor health, being a senior citizen, and disabled veteran. Additionally, my physician has informed me not to take the Covid vaccine until further notice. I have extensive allergies to medicine and certain foods. During this pandemic, it seems Massage Envy should make those decisions on a case by case. Ive already tried the 6 month and 30 day suspension of the membership fees. However, since I cannot use this facility in the next several months to potentiallya year, Ill never get a chance to use up my unscheduled sessions so that I can cancel under Massage Envys policy.

My rating is not a reflection on the Massage Therapist at this location, but a rating of the office managers and the company as a whole. I signed up for membership after my son purchased me a gift card for my birthday. My schedule didnt allow for me to visit at least once a month and when I reached the end of my 1 year contract I had a visit that I transferred to my husband. My husband decided to sign up for his own contract and provided his credit card information when he signed up. When his bank changed the card number this location decided they would revert back to charging my card without my permission/consent. A notice was never sent to my husband, instead they charged my FSA card for 6 months worth of visits all at once. REALLY PROFESSIONAL - NOT!!!!!!!!!!! I will tell any and everyone I know NOT to patron this business starting today.

I’m furious! The lack of customer service here is ridiculous! I called last week to schedule an appt and was told my therapist doesn’t work on Fridays. Ok, that’s fine, but the receptionist said she has tues the 15th anytime between 11 and 1230 open and Wednesday she has openings as well. I chose tues at 11 and then called my babysitter to book her for the day. Today I show up for my appointment at 1050 and check in. I gave the manager my full name first and last twice!! She says ok you are checked in and have a seat. Knowing my appt is at 11and it was now 1115. I went to the front to verify my appt was at 11 and she said oh sorry we scheduled it for 1130. I said well I booked a sitter and was here by 1050 bc they told me my appt was at 11. The manager apologized. At 1140, the manager comes in and says miss Jennifer, I’m so sorry your appt is scheduled for the 22nd not today, we have another Jennifer booked in this spot and she just checked in. I said what? I have been sitting here for over 45 min. I go back out to the front desk and ask how we can remedy the situation and she said I’m sorry there are no appointments available for you to be seen we are completely booked. There is nothing available until next week when your appt is scheduled. I said I never scheduled for next week as I’m a nurse and have a full schedule and my time off is limited. The manager says there is nothing they can do to remedy the situation. She said she would credit back my prepaid to make sure it wasn’t used. I said how can we remedy this situation, this is your clinic mistake not mine!! I specifically got a sitter for my Massage today and now I’m out of pocket for something I couldn’t even get done. She said I’m sorry we can’t help you. I said you can credit me a free session back to my account and she said yes I can do that. I called corporate Ron Brooker who of course didn’t answer his phone to report the lack of customer service and lack of remedying the situation. I then called southpark massage envy which is the base clinic where the membership started to see if sessions had been credited to my account. It was reported to me that sessions were not credited to my account and they were going to call Northlake to verify, however southpark called a few times and they did not answer the phone nor return their messages as if 1240 when writing this review. I again called Rob Brooker who did not answer his phone. So not only am I outchildcare fees for the day, but no Massage, and no sessions credited to my account and it was supposed to an hour and half session today!!! So irritating! I would give this a zero rating if I could!!

My birthday massage wasnt fulfilling.. the music and atmosphere wasnt soothing at all. My massage therapist couldnt do the deep tissue massage I requested.. she didnt do a good job.. totally unsatisfied. She apologized for not knowing how to do deep tissue massages and gave me a referral card for my next visit .

Scheduled an appt online this morning and got a call 30 minutes later that they were booking that slot by phone at the same time and they were cancelling MY appointment! Even though I was confirmed to have the appt! Terrible customer service! Tried to push me off to another time that was hours later or the next day. Offered no kind of compensation or real explanation other than they scheduled a “new” client so I was out of luck. I’ll never go to this location! I have a monthly membership which apparently means nothing to them!! This is Bad business Northlake!

My name is Ebony Gilbert. My husband and I had massages scheduled today at 2pm. We arrived at 1:30pm to complete the forms. After speaking with a young woman about our session, we wait until 2:10pm and a male/female came out to invite us back. We requested two females prior to the appt yet we were told they only had a male and a female for us. I shared w them that we scheduled and waited for this appt for 2 weeks. They didnt have any additional slots open for the day and offered me to take the male and my husband to take the female, then offered me to take the male when I already told them twice we wanted two females and werent comfortable w a male. Just awful experience! Not accommodating and an error that shouldnt have occurred since it was scheduled two weeks ago! We ended up not getting any service and they tried to reschedule to Monday. The worst experience ever and seems like they value members more than customer service!!

I really do enjoy going to Massage Envy. I was very hestiant about having a male therapist,but Walter informs you of everything he is going to do. Walter is amazing. Every time I leave I feel like a new person.

I had a very good experience at Massage Envy Northlake. They took me on time and the therapist asked questions about pressure to make sure I was comfortable. I had a good massage at a fair price. I would recommend trying them out.

Appointments are repeatedly canceled and then they don’t have any available openings to re-schedule. I made an appointment at Northlake and it was canceled. When they had no available times they suggested I contact Huntersville. Had to get an appointment a month out and then they canceled the week before. They keep processing those monthly payments but never have time for you to come in and use them

My Therapist was good and this isnt a reflection on her work, however DO NOT SIGN A MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE if youre not able to utilize a monthly massage. I signed up for it, after 5 months of not using it, I went in to cancel my membership, the lady at the desk advised me to suspend my account to try and use the months I had not used, I did just that.Since then, my card on file was invalid and I got a call to update it to start charging again. I told them I didnt see the purpose of spending $49/month on a service I wasnt using & to cancel my account. In doing so I was told I lose the $ I had already paid and not used AND they were going to send it to collections. She told me I couldnt cancel my account and when I told her to do so anyway she HUNG UP ON ME. I called back asking why she did so, she claimed we got disconnected (but I heard the desk phone crashing to the base) and that she was calling me back, very unprofessional.The moral of the story is DONT sign a membership with them if youre not prepared to use it monthly. I simply dont have the time to get one monthly and will be penalized for that.

After trying several different therapists I highly recommend Walter. He is thorough and knowledgeable about stretching and relaxation techniques to help eliminate stress and discomfort.

Recently me an my husband came for a massage it was the most awful experience they didn’t remember we was a couple massage they tried to put us in different rooms I asked for 2 women ! They gave me a male therapist , then we had to reschedule /wait 30 mins bc the girl in the front didn’t schedule a lady !! the front desk always mess up the scheduling it’s a very young staff An not organized, the front desk needs training !!! Very playful no customer service !!!

This place, for the THIRD time now, has given me no courtesy call the day before my appointment as a reminder. No voicemail. Every time I try to call here they NEVER answer the phone or return voicemails. Just like the reviewer above me said. For a place that is supposed to relax you, it is certainly adding a whole lot of stress to my life. I will be cancelling my membership.

I went to Massage Envy today..my first experience. I was highly impressed. It was excellent customer service. Talvin performed an outstanding massage. I signed up for membership and I would definitely recommend Massage Envy.

Long story short, very unprofessional supervisor, chantel, charged my card a total of 150after they allowed someone to call in and book under my account and use my debit card that was attached to my profile! And not willing to fully correct their mistakes but did advise me to contact my bank I have never seen such craziness!!!!

My massage today went really well and I also received a facial. The esthetician was professional but its obvious the company pressures their employees to upsell. You dont *need* to go to Massage Envy to tackle your biggest skin issues for 780 bucks a year (minimum). Go to the dermatologist. My husband had what was supposed to be an hour massage. It lasted all of 35 minutes. The masseuse didn’t even touch his arms, feet, chest, or scalp. I’m so dissatisfied. Go somewhere else.

The biggest problem I have with the Northake location which is very close to my house is that they NEVER answer the phone or someone is purposely shooting me to their voicemail. They have no problems with charging my card every month but to get an appointment and have to leave a message during business hours is insane.

Love my massages there, but impossible to get in touch with because the reception desk never answers phone calls and no one responds to online requests. Great service from the therapists and terrible service from reception desk...not to mention no hot tea like other location have...but I put that in the suggestion box when I go, no avail.
