Spa Space has everything you can need and more! This visit I came in for a seasonal massage and infrared sauna session (discounted when combined with massage). Hannah performed my massage and she did an incredible job, I was so relaxed! The sauna was a nice addition and the changing area is well stocked with products to clean up with afterwards. Second time here and will definitely be back for more treatments!

As a woman who absolutely loves self care days and relaxation I take it very seriously where I spend that time and of course money! Ive been to Spa Space a couple of times and both times the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Reasonable prices, relaxing and a calm environment. Praises, go to massage therapist ,Javier!!! I will be returning soon!

Spa Space is always amazing. I never feel rushed or like I’m a burden. They all go out of their way to ensure your visit is blissfully peaceful and enjoyable. The young lady( so sorry I can’t remember her name) at check in/out is always so calm and welcoming. She’s amazing at helping you get full use of your membership and scheduling. I can’t say enough about how extremely impressive Marina is! Can’t go a month without her. Just an overall great experience!

Javier is the best massage therapist I have ever had. He has the perfect touch and the special work he does with the crystal is amazing. Ive been getting massages for over 20 years and this was the best one Ive ever had. Hes been working for 19 years and you can tell. Hes an expert. Definitely request him.This spa is really nice. Its clean and comfortable. Lots of little extras make it special and the staff is all really amazing. Michelle gave me a facial as well and it was really relaxing and she was fun to talk to. My skin looked amazing.

I’m traveling on business and walked my legs off all over the city. Hannah was extremely professional and intuitive. The spa is not too formal and not too casual. A great experience for seasoned spa-goers and people new to massage/spa treatments. Not at all intimidating as some places can be. A perfect balance, super nice amenities and a phenomenal massage.

Wow!! I had a wonderful massage with Reuben! It was so relaxing! I also had a steam shower afterwards. The staff was polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to spoil themselves! Thank you.

Wow. I never thought I’d say that I had an *emotional experience* at Spa Space. I was dealing with a 3-day migraine and Javier’s massage was the healing care and energy that I needed 😭😭 what an amazing human. I love pairing my massage with the infrared sauna beforehand, and eucalyptus steam shower after. I feel like a new person! See you soon, Javier 🙌🙌

Such a lovely little gem. The staff is wonderful. I have the unlimited infrared sauna membership and it’s worth every penny. The steam showers are also a big plus.

Loved my experience! I was in town for the Chicago Marathon, and I visited Spa Space the day before the race. Javier did a fantastic job with the one hour full body massage, while also devoting more time to more sore areas. I felt so refreshed, and I ended up running my best race. Highly recommend Spa Space, especially for runners!

Javier was amaze balls! For my first deep tissue massage, I was more than satisfied. He was very attentive and has magic hands. I was so sad when I had to get off the table LOL! I definitely made another appointment for myself and my mom. The spa is beautiful and serene. The staff are kind and professional. I’ve been a few times over the years for hot stone massages (those are great too!), but never thought to leave a review because I’m always in a daze when I leave. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

The Spa Space is a lovely space, however, they are not accommodating. There front desk is not empowered to provide customer service. I would not recommend this Spa for a group.

Javier was absolutely fantastic. If you would like a healing massage please consider choosing him when booking a your service. He was very attentive to the needs I expressed before my session began. Nice ambiance and facilities. Oxana was AMAZING. I came in with 3-day back pain and I feel like a new after her massage. Left me with tips to keep the pain away as well.The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is my husband and I had a couples massage, and my husband has had new back pain in the days following. I forget the name of the man who did my husband’s massage, but if you just ask for Oxana you will be in great hands!!

This is one of my favorite spas. Javier is the best masseuse I have ever had! I travel a lot and my muscles are constantly tensed up and I feel so great after his massages. He really pays attention to the areas that need work. Can’t recommend enough!

My daughter planned this Mom & daughter Spa Day a while ago. She found your spa from walking to work. I loved the comfy ambience and the wonderful smells upon entering. The changing area was clean and efficient and had a wonderful, peaceful waiting area.Hannah was a professional and well informed massage therapist and enquired about areas that needed special attention. Hannahs technique was perfect, I like a deep tissue massage and have tight neck, shoulder & upper back & Hannah got all the knots worked out amazingly well! I will definitely make a visit again.

I had a massage by Kimberly and it was amazing. She found all my tight muscles and knots and was so knowledgeable to tell me things I could do to avoid pain outside of a massage. Super professional and focused on making sure I was happy. 10/10 recommend.

Although my massage with Maritza was wonderful, the customer service experience was absolutely terrible. After having a difficult time retrieving a gift card, I was charged for something that I CLEARLY (receipts and all) had a gift card for from the get-go. 60 min massage and 50 min in the front lobby… Luckily they were able to retrieve my gift card and refund me, but I never received an apology what so ever. If this is how a manager handled things, I don’t even want to know how other employees treat the clients. Beyond disappointed in my experience here.For a business that provides high end service I am absolutely stunned -- and severely disappointed by the lack of communication here. Of course, they have no problem taking my money, but they can’t respond to an email.

As a local guide I love sharing both positive and negative experiences Ive had with regards to holistic healing and therapeutic massage.Let me start of by sharing all the POSITIVES first! Im extremely grateful 🙏 that I arrived here today inquiring about a last minute massage service because this morning I woke up in extreme pain. I suffer from TMJ (BRUXISM) and sinus issues so I felt positively awful today and after visiting the French Market on Clinton I walked into this location and asked if any service was available. Id have been delighted with either a facial or deep tissue massage. I just needed a pick me up.The receptionist was extremely gracious kudos to her 👏 she was kind, a great communicator and had awesome style 😀She told me that within 5 minutes a therapist was definitely going to be available for a full hour and so I grabbed it and helped myself to a tiny packet of M $ M peanut candies. The front desk receptionist inquired if Id been there before and I said most Definitely but years ago when I used to live in the west loop.Id like to say the space is charming and immaculate and they have wonderful items on sale like candles 🕯 and beauty products. You will definitely be tempted to buy something special here either as a gift to yourself or a friend.Once my therapist was ready she escorted me up the lovely stairwell and took me to a dimly lighted treatment room. The room is extremely professional and simple.Cristina was my therapist and she did a lovely job but now comes the feedback.I did tell Cristina that Im also a Therapist and that I suffer from chronic sinus issues, allergies and Tmj. I feel like I was quite clear that my goal was to release sinus pressure, tackle neck and shoulder issues, focus on my scalp and that my feet were also important to me. My spine can use a bit of work due to the physical nature of my job.I didnt like the fact that she had me lay face down for so long because it wasnt good for my sinuses. I also didnt appreciate 😕 her chatting and asking me pointed questions about my job etc...I just met her and she was prying. I regret that I told her Im a massage therapist too and yes Ive been practicing chakra balancing, reiki, alternative healing and therapeutic massage for 30 plus years.Her pressure was good but not as effective or as deep as I typically prefer. I am very particular about touch and prefer myofascial release which Cristina had minimal at best knowledge of.I felt the $165 price for the hour long massage was over priced because I am still in a bit of pain and my main areas i needed addressed were not focused on enough.The gratuity of 18% is built into the services and 2% is given to the other staff members here.I am not in agreement that Cristina deserved this price because Ive had outstanding massage services before from holistic healers where I left glowing, radiant and completely pain free. I dont like talking during a paid service and so going forward I think I will mention this to all my future Therapists because I cant fully relax and let go when Im talking and answering questions.Finally here is my feedback to the owner. Please reconsider your built-in tip policy. It simply isnt fair to force your guests into a tip if a service is mediocre. My neck is still stiff and sore.I hope this review will be taken to heart and I wish only the best and that my feedback will be considered honest and not malicious.If Im going to spend $165 per hour I want a medical grade massage and I expect to leave completely free of pain.

Have you ever had a massage that almost made you cry?I really wish I can give 10 STARS to Javier! I have tried so many massage places over the last 10 years Mexico Bali the US and I must say Javier the massage therapist here is one of one!He has an amazing professional character and an awesome way to connect with people. In minutes of meeting him I told him my problem areas and he went to start the session and was incredible with hitting and pointing out any painful areas that I had in my body.it was just something about his energy.This guy has magical hands he deserves all the recognition!! The room was clean , the lavender aromatherapy that HE placed on the face pillow was perfect for the setting. His techniques were awesome he goes according to the persons body and personality Ive never seen that before. He used hot stones, I am now going to book my boyfriend and a few other family members to check out SPA SPACE! However back to Javier give this guy a raise because hes the best masseuse that I have ever had in my life!!! I will be buying a package massage plan.. PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE

Visited spa space for my boyfriends birthday. I had booked a couples massage and from the minute we arrived until we left it was all perfect. Super clean. Outstanding staff. Complimentary cucumber water. Well definitely be back!

Ladies were great with walking me through getting a manicure for the 1st time w the gf for her birthday. Nice atmosphere, offers coffee, tea and water.

I went in for a facial and I couldn’t be more satisfied. From the ambiance to the professionalism this place is top notch! Gigi was my esthetician and she was very knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. Not to mention my skin feels AMAZING! Definitely recommend.

This is my first time coming to Spa Space. A friend of mine gave me a gift card to come here because I have been going through tough situations in my life and she said it will help to relax my body from stress. Mind you I haven’t had a massage since the pandemic started and my body really needed it. Like really need it, like I have been suffering from chronic back pain for YEARS!My massage therapist was Javier and OMG he had such a beautiful personality, I instantly felt welcomed and his energy made me feel calm. I know from the start I was going to receive an amazing service. Javier explained to me he has been doing this for over 14 years, and he enjoys to customize the sessions. He told me he incorporates energy work and crystal healing which I never experienced! He explained the different benefits of each crystal and I was super excited for my session to start!Let me tell you! The moment I felt his gifted hands and the crystals I immediately felt a release of tension on my back, a sense of deep relaxation, and most definitely the BEST massage I ever had! This is such a relaxing place to be! I love starting my massage in the women’s locker room, that is tranquil with couches, magazines, soft music and cucumber water.My husband and I go (or try to!) once a month and we LOVE Brian and Julie. Brian has been doing my prenatal massages since I was 5-months pregnant (now at 8 months) and I could not see doing my pregnancy any other way.My husband has chronic tension in his shoulders and neck. Since coming, we can see a significant difference!I love it here and would recommend it to anyone I knew.

All the staff is very polite! I got a hour custom massage, focused on my sciatica lower and right leg. It helped me so much the next day! Massage was great! Most likely will come back!

I have had great experiences at Spa Space in the past, but this last massage was super deep tissue and he went in so hard - I thought it was the good kind of painful at the time - but then last night, I couldnt turn over in my sleep without wincing, and today I cannot lean back against a chair. Had to take an Epsom bath and still in pain.

I just had a pedicure Rx with Melissa Let me tell you, this was hands down the best, most intense pedicure I have ever had. I have problem nails and Melissa made my feet look and feel better than they have in a long time. Melissa was friendly and professional. Her tools and work area were sanitary. Her attention to detail and to my comfort exceeded my expectations! Melissa has a new loyal customer!!

We had an organized corporate event for “Galentine’s” and it was fabulous! Highly recommend, and I’ll be coming back!

Had a really wonderful massage with Javier; he really dug in and stretched out my limbs in a way that left he feeling super refreshed and relaxed! He was great about listening to what I wanted too. The space is really nice as well, so overall a great experience.

My colleague referred me to spa space and I must say I was impressed! I was hesitant due to the location being downtown, but there was plenty of street parking. Im assuming because theres really no other businesses near. Their establishment was clean, friendly staff with a peaceful atmosphere. The locker room was beautiful and cozy. My service was an hour long Swedish massage. I fell asleep, but I woke up once she got to my head. I couldnt have her disturbing my hair extensions 😂 🥴She laughed 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

This is by far the best spa experience Ive had to date. My masseuse Mike was tremendously amazing. I simply told him the area of my body that need the most work and he literally removed all the knots, stress, tension, and pressure built up from months of working. I would highly highly recommend. It is very professional, Ashley was SO kind the entire experience. I would make this my repeat spot everytime I come back to Chicago.

6 stars if I could! The space, music, massage, steam/rain shower and people make this place so lovely. I came in with terrible tension in my upper back and neck, and left feeling better than I have in weeks. Javier gave me the best back/neck massage I’ve ever had! Thank you and I’ll be back!

The spa was nice and the receptionist that booked the appointment was very friendly. Would have been a 5 star until after the massage was over. As it turned out we were the last appointment. When I went to go shower, it was running, and I asked the employee if someone was in there. She said she was cleaning the shoes in there. As she was removing them she said “ Are you going to be be quick because we are closed?” Shortly after, she came back in and turned half of the lights off. If you close at 6 and take an appointment at 5 for a 50 minute massage the customer should have the same courtesy as other patrons to shower afterwards and get dressed. We were told when we made the appointment that there were steam showers for after the massage. If you schedule an end of day appointment you should inform the patron ahead of time when they need to be finished and give them time to shower and dress.

My overall experience was lovely. The employees were all very sweet and accommodating, and I thoroughly enjoyed my pedicure and express facial. My only complaint is the aftermath I experienced after my facial. As someone that doesn’t experience many breakouts, I got two large pimples and have dark marks from scarring on my nose and chin from the extractions that were not there before. I don’t know if this is normal after a facial since this was my first one, but I can’t imagine that my skin looking worse than what it did before is something to be expected.

This was my very first time here and the entire atmosphere was welcoming. It also was my first time getting a massage EVER and it was wonderful. Joseph (my masseuse) and Gina (waxing) both did amazing jobs and made me feel extremely comfortable, I HIGHLY recommend this place❤️

Surprise facials for my gf on her birthday. She had Michelle and I had . Both were amazing and we made appointments for another facial before we left. Everything smelled good and was super clean. Beds are heated A+++ Highly recommend and can see why they are rated number 1 in Chicago 😊

I love this place sooooo much, words cant even describe it! Whether its a pedicure on a Friday night because I need to decompress from work (its BYOB here) or indulging in a massage or wrap for a special occasion. I will never go anywhere else for these spa treatments. They always treat me well and provide great services! Ive been coming here since I moved to the city 9 years ago! I’ve been going to Spa Space for about six years and I truly cannot think of a single less than exceptional experience I’ve had here. Cheers to some exceptionally consistent hiring on managements behalf. This may not be the place for your designed nail extensions, but it’s the place to truly have a spa experience and that is rare to find.

I took my daughter and granddaughter for an afternoon at the spa. We each had a massage, facial, pedicure and manicure. Booking the appointments was flawless. The three of us were very happy with all the services we received. I would say this spa is professional without being pretentious. The cost was reasonable. I will definitely go again when I am in Chicago.

I had a groupon for the Red Carpet experience for 2. I had an overall good experience, but was surprised that extractions are not part of the standard facial done here. I had a great lady who went ahead and did some extraction work as part of my service, but it isnt a standard offering. My massage was great and well done. However, my plus one didnt have the same experience- so it does seem like you want to go through reviews to pick the right person for your experience.

Please note: 17% gratuity is automatically added regardless of how well you enjoyed the service. If driving, you have to pay the meters everyday ($9 for 2 hours on a Sunday). I started going to Spa Space over 20 years ago and havent been as much as I used to before covid. Obviously spas are doing things differently than they were before COVID, but I was really disappointed by the custom massage + dry brush exfoliation I received today. Typically, add on services add an extra 15 minutes to the existing service, but both services were done in like 50 minutes. Even though I told her the areas that were the most sore, I didnt really receive a full body massage she mainly focused on my arms and shoulders. It mainly felt like a dry brush and rubbing in the oil or lotion vs. dry brushing (both sides) and massaging for 60 minutes. My back was just as sore as when I came in, there was little to no attention on my feet and no rubbing of my neck - she did some sort of accupressure type thing but no actual massage. The manager was nice and adjusted the amount a little bit but that gratuity was a lot more than I would have given.

I LOVE this spa! Ive visited many spas in the city, including the top notch Spa42(which is great) but spa space is so wonderful! I get a facial and massage every couple months andIve never been disappointed. The staff is professional and well informed, the bathroom/locker room/waiting area is clean, relaxing, spacious and full of top of the line products. I enjoy having tea and a steam before my services. The set up is lovely.

Scheduled the July special which included a complimentary manicure and massage. Massage was great and had some serious muscle issues that needed work. However, the manicure was absolutely the second worst Ive ever had. The young lady was so unprofessional, my nails are different shapes and lengths. Very poor paint job and I felt like I was in one of those shops that rushes through everything--

I hadnt heard of Spa Space before until my sister gave me a giftcard for Christmas. I was able to utilize it this past weekend and it was an amazing retreat from my daily routine! While there was some confusion regarding the package I reserved, thankfully senior management was able to quickly resolve the mix-up and went above and beyond to ensure I had an enjoyable and memorable experience. My companion and I each enjoyed an hour and a half Swedish massage (previously Ive only had hour long massages and I highly recommend the extra half hour as it allows ample time for a full body massage with special attention to need areas) and my masseuse was great! She listened to my needs and was very kind. We then freshened up and relaxed in the lounge until our pedicures, in which the ladies were also very nice. It was the perfect start to my week and I look forward to returning!

It’s always a great experience at Spa Space! Most recently my massage was with Mike and I wish I could give more than 5 stars! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and deep tissue. Can’t recommend Mike and Spa Space enough!

Called to make an eyebrow appointment same day. The woman I spoke to was friendly enough and they were able to get me in within an hour. That being said, I was told I had to give my credit card number over the phone to hold my spot and they have a fee they will charge if you cancel within 5 hours. The woman promised I would not be charged unless I didnt show up, but Ive never heard of such a sketchy practice and immediately told her no thank you and hung up. Keep in mind who you want having your phone number before you give it out just to book an appointment!!

Spa Space is an oasis in the west loop. I found Spa Space looking on the internet for somewhere I could get a complete pampering: massage, manicure and pedicure….on a Sunday. It was important to find a place open on Sundays, because that is when I start preparing for the new work week. Before I would write a review, I wanted to make sure my experience was consistent. Whether it was the front desk staff, manicurist, or massage therapist, each have been very professional, friendly, and gone to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. What a find! I enjoyed it so much that over the past four months, I have regular dates and times for manicures and pedicures. I will do the same, set regular dates, for massages in the new year.

After a gnarrrly spill from a horse in 2009, Ive been slathered in Biofreeze and getting frequent massages for hip/shoulder issues ever since. Ive had some stunning experiences, but Javier blows them all out of the water. Ill take his massage over any of the uber-luxe ones Ive booked in 5 star hotels over the years. Hes easily THE best (Im talkin turn-you-into-melted-gummy-bear-hands, here).I need a lot of pressure and the Force is strong with this one; he gets it exactly right, with amazing attention to detail. Also, hes got a really soothing presence; very healing energy.I tried his 60 minute hot stone massage a few months ago and immediately re-booked for 90 minutes afterward. Ill be booking regularly from now on.Do yourself a favy and go straight for the 90 minute; trust me.

I am so disappointed with my interaction with Spa Space. Weeks before the pandemic hit, I purchased a Hydrafacial package worth about $500 and was able to use one before the shut down. I never received any communication (maybe it went to spam) about what actions they were taking regarding packages, but I never thought they would take money from me without providing any service. I am saddened and really so shocked to say that is exactly what they did.I have been called back to the office which is next door to the spa, so I went in on September 1 to get back on the schedule, fully expecting them to say I would have to pay additionally due to change in prices or that we would have to figure out a creative solution where both parties could feel good about the result. I spoke to the manager who told me she would look into it and get back to me. I recieved an email shortly after stating that the package had expired and there was nothing that she was willing to do to help me. I sent an email back asking her to reconsider hoping we would be able to work something out. I have never recieved a response. I was really looking forward to coming back downtown to get my routine back on track after a long 2 years. I was going to take my team there for mani/pedis as a welcome back to the office. I had hoped to have a good experience after all this mess.

Joseph was really professional and knowledgeable and spent time to effectively help with my neck issues. He always checked in to make sure the massage was comfortable and effective, and I would go back to him in a second. I highly recommend!

Javier was absolutely fantastic. There was a point where my I was awake but something in my mind was asleep. I was literally snoring. Ive never known how important massages are to your health, I wont keep cheating myself. Thanks Javier!!

I love Spa Space....Ive been going here for over 14 years....Always Clean, relaxing & friendly staff! The newly renovated nail area is great! I always ask for Kennise but all the girls are great! Well trained and very sanitary! They dont re-use nail files or buffers they are brand new and you can take then home! If you are looking for a relaxing spa this is the place!!

2- for the managers response to my issues5- for the actual services received and the spa itself.I went to this location with 2 of my friends last Saturday. We are all from 3 separate states (New York, Wisconsin, Missouri) but decided to Meet in Chicago for a girls weekend. We only had 1 full day together and chose to spend it at Spa Space. First off, the facility is beautiful, calming, water and snacks are located all throughout to stay hydrated. The Massage, manicure, and pedicures were amazing. Everyone working was so friendly, always offering us something to drink, etc. The steam showers after & products available to try were fantastic. We were there 11:30-3:30pm. :)My ONLY complaint: Even though we booked 2 months in advance for the same 3 services (massage, then pedi, then mani) my 2 friends were called back for their pedicures without me. Then while they got their pedicures together, the spa decided to do my mani. So then I had my pedi alone as well. At payment, we voiced our opinion that we were frustrated to be separated (essentially they either took walk ins OR double booked an appointment) so I could not be with them. The women working the front desk seemed genuinely concerned, but her manager just said she would note the account for next time. I told her I dont live in Illinois, but she didnt seem to care. I know this could happen at any salon, but for what we paid, I would have hoped for a better solution.Overall the salon is AMAZING! I would go again, but it would need to be with a new expectation.

I spent around 300 dollar in this spa for facial and waxing and i was thoroughly disappointed. First of all, I made the appointment 2 weeks in advance but when i reached the spa they told me they had not booked my waxing appointment. I was told i would have to wait around 30 minutes after facial for waxing to start. After pushing a bit i was told that an arrangement has been made but i still had to wait 20 minutes.I did the facial. It was strictly okay. Next day i woke up with a face allergy. The most disappointing part was back waxing done by Mary. She did it very quickly and i was impressed by her speed. but when i reached home and checked in mirror, she had done a rally shabby and half baked job. She waxed the center and on both the side there was nothing at all done. I was so so disappointed. there are mch better spas which are less expensive. I will definitely not return and neither would i recommend this spa to anyone

The absolute best customer service in the world from the nail team! I switched from pedicure to no chip manicure and while I caused a headache they were kind, understanding, and amazing. They reminded me while I always go here and will always come back. Thank you!!

Got a gift certificate here and decided to try it out. First of all, its definitely way over priced comparing it to other spas in the area. We ordered 90 minute massages and they told us to arrive at 6 pm. We came at 6:10 due to traffic and what I wish I was aware of before I came was that 6 pm was the massage start time, not arrival time. After we changed and got our stuff together, we got only a 60 minute massage in but were charged for the full 90 minutes. Other spas that are roughly the same price have pools, hot tubs, and nicer facilities and rooms. The massage room didnt really give off a relaxing vibe but the massage itself was great.

Been going to Spa Space for massages, on and off for a few years. Had different massage therapists work on me as I tended to book last minute sessions. I happened to be assigned to Doug and after that I make appointments in advance to ensure Doug is my therapist. He does remarkable work regardless of the type of massage I request. Actually fell asleep during the Indian head massage. Always walk away feeling every cent was money well spent.

A lovely space. Had a mani pedi with just the right vibrant no chip red color that I like and had a bikini wax. This place always is inviting and serene... a perfect get away in the city. Treat yourself here!

I have frequented Spa Space for a few years now and have been satisfied with the service. Today, my 1 hour massage lasted only 35 minutes and cost me $108 + tip. They would not accommodate me because I arrived later than scheduled, even though they lead me to believe they would (or I never would have started). They would not issue any kind of credit for 1/2 hour of non-service. Needless to say, I wont be going back there nor will my friends that I have recommened. Its time to try another spa salon; one that knows how to appreciate its customers. Goodbye Spa Space!

I’ve been seeing Latrice exclusively for my waxing needs the past two years and idk what has taken me so long to write her the review she deserves! She’s absolutely amazing! Very thorough, nice, and makes the experience very pleasant. When I get my brows done I don’t even want or need to fill them for at least the first week because they look so amazing. I really like that she informs her clients on home care and maintenance as well. Great esthetician in the downtown area for anyone who’s looking!!!

First time going and it was EVERYTHING🥰 the sauna and facial was more than amazing but it was the massage for me💯 Javier touched places I never knew I needed massaged lol I got up feeling like a new person. I cant wait to go back next month

Several weeks ago, I booked a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure package fo myself and my two adult daughters to use after running a half-marathon. The spa day was scheduled for yesterday, July 22. Our experience was wonderful. There was a slight communication error between spa technicians that was going to result in one of my daughters losing her full pedicure. While the technician that was to complete that daughter’s pedicure was not going to correct the problem and was not very friendly; the other two technicians (I am sorry but I do not remember their names) were extremely helpful and kind and made sure to correct the problem to ensure that we had a very memorable and relaxing afternoon to complete the great services that we had already received. They are definitely to be commended. Thank you all for a wonderful and relaxing afternoon.

Bianca F. is the best!! I request her every time I get a no chip manicure and I am never disappointed. She is speedy but you dont feel rushed. While Bianca is working, you have her full attention and she makes you feel like you are her only client.Bianca will help you pick out what color is best for your skin type and makes sure you are not just satisfied--but love your nails. I always leave feeling pampered and more beautiful then when I walked in. Ask for Bianca and you will be happy you did!

I went there as a Mother’s day treat & was so excited to check this place out but I was underwhelmed. The front desk receptionist is very friendly. I went to the mani/pedi place to find that there are only four chairs and two are connected by a table. Which doesn’t really call for ultimate peace bc the woman beside me was snoring and had a horrible cough. Which was no ones fault. The woman doing my pedicure (Anka) could be spelling her name wrong. Did a good job! I was expecting more since it was $99. The happy feet pedicure but my toe polish is fine and she was super friendly! THE WORST PART of this experience came when it was time to get my manicure. But another woman, unsure of her name. She rushed my entire manicure. And left my nails looking as if one of young children did them. She also made a comment about the right way about when to have children is when your older which was a little offensive to me because I am a young mother. The lotion she used for the two minute hand rub she gave she brought out in her own hands opposed to the Petri dishes I seen everyone else using. She was rushing me bc she had a pedicure after me. Before she even had polish on my nails she was running the pedicure water and steadily looking over there instead of focusing on my service. I understand it was a jam packed day bc it was the day before mother’s day but still! I did inform the front desk of my ill done manicure and they had a lady redo them but because the day was so jam packed. I had to wait an extra 20 or so minutes. Where the lady basically re did my manicure. (Anka) I so appreciate them taking the service off my bill but I’m not satisfied with my overall experience. And my nails have already chipped two days later. Granted I did not get no chip polish but regular polish usually last me more than two days! There were a lot of repeat customers so I’m giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just too busy for them considering the holiday.

I tried the Happy Feet Pedicure - which was advertised as being for someone who loves massage. I do! The one complaint I usually have when getting pedicures is how little time is spent in the massaging of the feet.In any case, while a lot of products were used and there were multiple steps to the pedicure, I didnt feel like I was getting an uber-massage experience. It just felt like she was rubbing in the scrub or lotion. Even when I asked for more pressure, it didnt feel anymore intense or relaxing. It was okay, but definitely not worth the extra money.This was surprising because I have only ever had 1 bad experience here - years ago with a facial.On another note, if you book online and dont get a confirmation call, CALL THEM FIRST to be sure they have you on the calendar - I arrived and my name was not on the calendar.

Every time I come here there seems to be some sort of problem. I live really close, so this place is super convenient. I wish I could love it, but they’re just not that great. I left my Brazilian recently with several hairs still there. I went in for a parafin wax pedicure, and recieved a standard pedicure instead. I got a manicure, and the girl doing my nails accidentally broke my nail while trimming. I had very long nails, and they wanted me to pay for half a manicure again to redo my nails to trim them all the same length.. Also, my boyfriend and I both have had this foreign-speaking lady - not sure what her name is, but she gives the most painful massages. If you want a good massage, go for the older white American lady with curly hair - she’s the best. Anyway, with all of my complaints, they NEVER bothered to do anything about it. I will not be coming here again.

Being at this spa was like a dream! It was decorated beautifully, the ambiance was amazing, the staff were very nice and accommodating! My bestie and I got massages, facials and some amazing pedicures! I highly recommend getting a pedicure there! Make sure it’s one that includes the parifin wax! My feet have never been this soft!

My Son and Daughter in-law treated me to a Spa day and it was absolutely phenomenal . The atmosphere was so tranquil and my Massage therapist was the best. Im definitely going again.

My first experience here was great. I decided to come back today and also bring a friend. However, I am utterly disappointed. The facial included a blackhead extraction. When the technician did it, it was painful and she recognized that. She said it was a bit stubborn. I thought that was a reasonable explanation. She was able to get it out, and I thought it was going to be okay. However, when I got home my face in that spot was agitated and it became a red bump. Now my face looks worse than before that facial. I went because my face needed hydration and now I have to deal with this. This is not okay. I thought I could trust them to be professionals.

Jackie did an AMAZING facial and Kayla did an AMAZING massage. This was my 1st time but surely will not be my last. My mom also enjoyed her services as well but Im not sure who serviced her (sorry). Great place!

I was given a gift certificate for a one hour massage. Id never been there before so I was a bit overwhelmed by what to do. I checked in at the front desk, and the clerk seemed preoccupied, but got me checked in and then gave me a brief tour of the womens lounge along with a cup of chamomile tea. She did educate me about the lockers, but not about the rain/steam shower or the products available for use; another client happened to be in the lounge and showed me what I could use, thankfully. A robe and flip flops were provided - but pro-tip, bring your own flip-flops because the ones they provide are quite beat-up and actually hurt my feet where the thong portion connected on the sole. My massage therapist, DeeDee, was AMAZING. Easily the best part of the experience. Communicative, talented, and really listened to me when I explained where I felt pain or discomfort, even educating me about what specific things I may be feeling and suggesting additional stretches and at-home treatments to help me. When I was finished, DeeDee brought me more tea and said to take my time checking out, which I did. Unfortunately, not very long after I began to decompress with my tea, an employee walked in and shouted that she was shutting down the area and they were closing. It felt really rude, completely stress-inducing, and like anyone who was still in the lounge was impeding her end-of-work-day. So, SpaSpace, if youre going to close up shop right exactly at a certain time, it might be a good idea to prep your customers well enough ahead of time, perhaps even prior to the appointment start, so that theyre not shocked at being kicked out of a post-massage relaxation period. I may or may not return, but if I do, Ill make sure its early enough in the day not to piss off an employee whos ready to go.

I had the best spa day!I received a deep tissue massage to work out some of the pain I’ve been experiencing for the last month. I can’t tell you the relief I felt after the massage. Jenifer applies the right level of tension and asked my for feedback along the way.NAIA’s facial did not disappoint. I was so worried about finding a new aesthetician after my former moved out of state, but after today’s facial, I now plan to be a regular.Tesha killed it with my nails and the conversation and giggles was a great way to relax on a Sunday.Thank you ladies! Was in town for the weekend and my husband surprised me with a spa day. Booked myself a massage, facial, mani and pedi. Everyone was so pleasant and so nice. Prices were reasonable for a 1/2 day of pampering. I will definitely come back the next time I am in town. Only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 is they are doing a little remodeling so mani and pedis were done in a cramped space. But the service was awesome. Im sure it will be 5 stars on my next visit!

Less than impressed with this place. The prices are pretty over-rated for the types of services. My friend rented out a portion of the place for 20 female co workers one day - paying well over $1500 for the entire event and yet they werent exceptionally nice or helpful. The manage that was on duty that day (Monday) was incredibly rude and offered terrible customer service. Disappointed would be an understatement.

I can only speak for their nail services which are top-notch and a bit overpriced. Its right down the street from my place and usually not that difficult to get a nail appointment. They have a great collection of colors, they dont reuse their files and the service easily lasts 10 more minutes than the standard mom and pop place.

Slow and Outrageous charges.It took 2 hours for a pedicure! On top of that, I get suprised at the checkout counter by a $20 upcharge for having to remove no chip nail polish. I would not have minded paying for it if I had been informed previously. There was no signage and the lady who did my nails said nothing.

My friend and I got no-chip manicures there and were in and out of our chairs in 15 minutes... They didnt even put lotion on my hands. Not worth the money. Theyre just trying to turnover customers quickly, and they really dont care about customer service.

Ruben is amazing. He knew where I needed more work, without me telling him and he varied stretching and massage perfectly (the stretching was as spot on as that provided by a good chiropractor).

I scheduled my pre-vacation pedicure way in advance only to have it canceled the morning of the appointment. I should get the 50% of the service price cancellation penalty that they demand of their clients. Terrible customer service.

This place is so beautiful! We loved our couples massage with Reuben and Hannah! Felicia’s pleasant voice and demeanor was sooooo soothing as well!

Our last two trips to Spa Space have been great. Massage therapists have been able to provide relaxing or deep work massages and my fiancee loves the pedicure treatments.

Im from France and while visiting Chicago I wanted to go to a GREAT spa. Beacause of the good reviews, I chose Spa Space. Wow... What a good choice !!!When I arrived, I had a warm welcome. They offered me tea and a glass of water. Then, they showed me the ladies lounge. Amazing. You have everything : lockers, hot robes, towels, 2 showers, sinks with mirrors, hair dryers and good products (hand and face creams...).Let me talk about the showers : very big showers with rain shower head and normal shower, soap, shampoo and conditionner. You can even make your shower a hammam !!!I had booked a 30 min deep tissue massage. The therapist came in the ladies lounge to found me. The massage was really great. Heated table, candles, dim light... Everything was perfect.Overall, couldnt expect a better experience. Its really an amazing place. I highly recommand this spa.

No chip/gel didn’t even last a week. Went about 4 days before one nail got chipped and then the second one chipped a few days later. Nail tech didn’t even bother to cap the nails or do any of the exfoliating you’re supposed to get with the manicure. What a waste.

Been here twice and both experiences were positive. I wish the steam room was set up better, but for the city the massage was much better than any other high-end weve been to and prices much lower.
