Very relaxing! I did the one hour float with a friend and it was so soothing! Service is great and you leave feeling relaxed and with smoother skin! Loved it.

Came here this weekend with my boyfriend as a birthday celebration and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish the staff was so amazing and friendly . Marija was very informative and accommodating throughout the booking process. The spa itself was beautiful and clean, and all services that both my boyfriend and I had done were phenomenal. We both agreed that we had an amazing time and will 100% be back to this location.

AMAZING! A group of 12 girls came here for a spa morning and we all had nothing but amazing things to say about the staff, services & overall atmosphere. Since starting to coordinate, the Freeze & Float team had been so easy + accommodating to work with. At the spa, they ensured everyone was taken care of + satisfied with their experience. This team went above and beyond - if you’re looking for a great spa in Chicago, try this one out. You won’t be disappointed!

So clean and pleasant environment. I didnt realize theyd have all the amenities I could ever need. I brought my own bag with hair products etc for my shower after and I didnt need any of that. My first time doing the float so it took some getting used to but I liked it enough that Ill be back. I slept really well that night.

I tried floating to use some credits from ClassPass. The service and ambiance were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the floating experience and am coming back for more. Each floating tank is connected to its own shower. You have full and complete privacy. You need not pack anything for the experience. The spa has thought of everything. So just show up a few minutes prior to your appointment and enjoy!

It will probably my favorite Spa in Chicago. Ive been to over dozen different floating places in Florida and California and this is hands down my favorite. All the amenities are superb! Very well designed and thoughtfully made. I love the overall atmosphere as well. Ill be back for their other services.ClassPass users: I booked my floating through ClassPass and apparently they have scheduling issues with connected systems. They do accommodate everyone to the best possible way they have but it might not be matching what shows in ClassPass.

I recently visited Freeze & Float and experienced their IV services and I must say, I was very impressed with the options they offered to cater and customize to each individual. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the best IV for me. The session was very comfortable, quick and painless as well. The space was clean, and had a great ambiance to it.The attention that each staff member gave me was amazing as well, I felt taken care of throughout the entire experience. I will definitely be coming back to experience other services !

My partner and I were in town for the holiday, and we decided to treat ourselves to a mini spa day consisting of a 60 minute massage followed by a 60 minute float. They had a package for the two services together and that was a great deal. We both really enjoyed our massage therapists, Maya and Helen and would recommend them if you are new to the spa! The float was great as well, and the facilities were extremely clean which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

This place is a hidden gem. I took my wife there for her birthday, and we had an incredible experience, including Sauna and Floating. Mladen walked through the experience in detail; he is very kind and professional. The floating experience was phenomenal; we completely disconnected and enjoyed a peaceful moment with our souls. The amenities are fantastic.Everything is perfectly done in this place.We will visit again soon.

Visited this spa twice with their new-comers package for float & hot/cold therapy. It was very relaxing. I would definitely go back, and try more services.

Been here for lymphatic massage. After introducing to the process, i got a chance to enjoy true benefits of this massage. My body felt immediate difference and felt so good. This is my first time and won’t be the last for sure. All personnels are professional, polite and sweet and I really felt good energy since the first moment. This spa is clean, relaxing and I will definitely will return to try out other services they are offering!

This was my first time-floating. I had heard about Freeze and Float from some friends and decided to try it. The staff is super friendly and nice, Karolina is super knowledgeable! The space is gorgeous, clean and modern.I’ve been stressing out at work and wanted to relax. Let me tell you this worked! You get into your private suite, shower, and hop into the tank. You have body wash, shampoo, conditioner and ear plugs. They used Verb products which is amazing! And there’s a beauty room where I was able to get ready.

I had my first float here months ago and immediately signed up for a membership. Compared to other floats in the city, its very reasonably priced and the atmosphere is probably more relaxing and chill than any spa Ive been to. I look forward to trying their other services soon!

I went for the signature lymphatic drainage treatments and had Kate. This treatment was incredible and i feel like i am floating. I havent felt this good and relaxed in years and it was insane how my body quickly felt so much lighter. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable who helped in the beginning with administering the magnesium scrub and charcoal wrap, and guided me through the infrared sauna, this is worth every penny and highly recommend.

Freeze & Float...I did exactly that. I had never done Cryotherapy before, and it was so refreshing and invigorating. In my next visit I tried the floatation therapy. Again, something I never tried, and was always sketchy about the small coffin tanks I saw at other places. Freeze and Float has entire float suites and makes the entire experience super comfortable. The spa is very clean and the staff is very helpful. I will definitely be making this place and their treatments a regular part of my wellness regiment.

Made a quick appointment for a sauna and cold plunge on a visit from out of town. Nice facility, friendly and knowledgeable staff and overall, a very positive experience. 100% would return.

The amazing owners have created a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in you are warmly greeted and feel relaxed in their beautiful and calming environment. The wonderful spa therapists are so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have had several treatments here, but my most recent was a massage with Catriona (Kate). It was so relaxing and melted all the tension away. I highly recommend Catriona for a Swedish, deep tissue, and or a lymphatic massage! She’s thoughtful, strong, gentle, and so kind! She’s perfection!

Freeze & Float is amazing! My favorite services are the hot/cold therapy and deep tissue massages. I see Kate for my massages; she’s amazing and I always leave feeling totally refreshed. This place is quiet and very clean, which I value in a medspa.

34 weeks pregnant and feeling it, or at least I was until I did a float for the first time. What an incredible experience of pain relief, peace, and guest care. Lucinda welcomed me at the door and carefully explained the whole process. I enjoyed a full hour of peace and quiet during my float and after had a cup of tea while I dried my hair at the hair station. I met the owner, a very welcoming and kind lady. It’s not a question, I’m coming back. Clean, relaxing, good location, fabulous experience.

I believe I’ve just had one of the best massages of my life (granted I can count on two hands as many as I’ve had). I came in with a bit of a stiff shoulder and a need to relax for the business of the day, and I received nothing short of a miracle. An hour with Kate for a deep tissue massage was akin to playing the role of a harp plucked by the most delicate and firm hands ever known. The attention to detail untangling the knots in my back and shoulders was extraordinary. The essential oils and peaceful atmosphere only added to the feelings of total and complete ease. The infrared sauna is the best. So relaxing and fun to go with a friend too. Also had a massage with Lily the other day. She was amazing, 10/10 would recommend her!

Freeze & Float Spa is a tranquil hideaway in River North. I’ve had regular signature lymphatic massage sessions with Lilly and she is incredible!!! She is truly knowledgable and focuses on results. The transformation of my body is nothing I’ve seen with any other treatment. The staff at F&F is wonderful and the spa offers a large range services making it truly enjoyable with every visit.

Very relaxing spa, I had my first lymphatic massage and it was great. My appt started 10-15 minutes late, but I understand that can happen sometimes. The massage felt very effective and I immediately noticed less bloating. I already booked my next session.

Love love love this place! Super clean and luxury spa! It offers salt floating which was amazing! State of the art machines! They are big and it didnt feel Closter phobic. The cyro tak was chilly of course! All in all I will be back!

Great place for an isolation float. The first time discount is significant so give it a try. Staff is friendly and the decor is nice. There’s a few waiting areas if you come with a friend. I also recommend the sauna and cryotherapy. The only tip is to not buy gift cards as they do not follow Illinois law and threaten to expire them after a few months. In Illinois once you buy a gift card they cannot expire. This is the law.

This place is an absolute hidden gem in River North. I’ve used it mainly for floating and sauna/plunge, but have also done cryo and IV drips. The couple who owns the place are great people and their quality of care flows right down to the staff. The services offered here will have a great impact on your life and Freeze & Float does it better than anyone! Highly recommend!

It was my first time at the spa and all I can say is I cant wait to go back there again and try more services!Right from the start I was greeted by the front desk lady that showed me around and provided with instructions on how to get the most benefit from the service I booked.I did the float and had an amazing experience floating in the dark that made my body so relaxed, I didnt want to leave! I felt rejuvenated, pampered and healthy!The dry bar had high end different hair and skin products and Dyson hair dryer that I absolutely loved! The tea station in the relaxing room was impeccable!Living in a big city is so important to have a space where you can relax and rejuvenate. This place provides that and more!!!!Thank you!

My favorite spa in Chicago! From the minute you step out of elevator you are experiencing the tranquility of this place. I tried their signature treatment and after 2 sessions I could see my body transformation. Also, I did a few IV sessions to boost my immune system and felt great. As an extra bonus from IVs my skin was well hydrated and glowing. Highly recommend this place !

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The lack total customer service, and lack of understanding and have a confusing and difficult front desk. My fiancé purchased a gift of a signature lymphatic massage for my birthday, and gone to this place previously, he thought it would be a great gift.They charged him on September 18th, for a signature lymphatic massage, and surprised me on September 24th on my birthday with the appointment. I happened to call to check the hours of operation, and they said they don’t have me in the reservation YET they charged him for the full reservation. They never called or texted him for the reservation, and the front desk was screaming at me and said it was our fault for not calling sooner? Who calls to reconfirm the appointment for a gift? They said they called and he has no record of them ever trying to confirm the appointment. Yet the woman at the front desk said he replied to an alleged text that he said no to cancel the appointment and stop to receive messages from them on 9/19? What she said doesn’t make sense BUT they will still charge us for this alleged appointment that was allegedly never confirmed?? The woman at the front desk was unhelpful and difficult, she said it was our fault even when we have no record of her alleged contact to us. She ruined something that should have been easy to work with, instead of enjoying a surprise massage on my birthday. I’ll be on the phone with our credit card company disputing this fraudulent charge. I’ll be booking a spa day at the peninsula, and I’ll make sure to never go back here or recommend this place to anyone.

Ive really enjoyed coming here. Ive done two float tanks and an infrared sauna. Theyve all been cool experiences and looking forward to more. The place is incredibly relaxing to be in, it feels like a mediation center! And it always smells nice; I like their scented candles by the front desk. The staff has also been very friendly!

I’ve been here a handful of times and it just keeps getting better. The infrared sauna on its own is wonderful, a great way to rejuvenate. But then I tried the lymphatic trio (with the wrap and sauna) and it was gamechanging. Such a nice treat - I even went back a week later for another lymphatic massage with Maya. She was awesome - new to F&F but so knowledgeable and sweet and it was a great lymphatic massage. Note: I get these massages for aesthetics, not for a medical condition, but I’ll be going back regularly. Love Freeze and Float!

This spa is very clean and luxurious. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are a few things to know in preparation for the trip. The saunas are smaller, so you are not able to lay down and relax in that way. The sauna is very nice and well kept, but I feel that’s a big thing to know ahead of time.

My sister and I came to Freeze & Float for a pre-wedding day of relaxation and the experience far exceeded our expectations! The staff was kind and made sure we knew what to do when we entered the infrared sauna and float rooms. The space is absolutely serene and the sauna followed by float (which was the most deeply relaxed Ive felt in months) was truly special and left us both feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommend and we will be back!

When you talk about feel refreshed, Freeze & Float is where you need to be. My fiancé and i were looking for a nice relaxing day together so we gifted each other a service for Valentine’s Day. He enjoyed the infrared sauna and wrap, followed by a lymphatic massage. The whole rest of the day, he bragged about how light weight he felt and couldn’t wait to go back! Meanwhile, I floated in their zero gravity salt tanks! And wow! My skin & body needed it. As soon as i was done, i sat down enjoyed some tea abs focused on my breathing! I will definitely recommend this super cute and relaxing business to everyone over and over again.Bonus - their hair products are amazing!!!!!!

As a floating enthusiast, I was thrilled to learn about the opening of Freeze & Float. Its in my neighborhood and easy to commute to whether Im by car or on foot. The overall ambiance is warm and exclusive and I love how welcome the staff made me feel. The float suites are incredibly clean and fully stocked with what I needed during my float experience. I cant wait to come back and try infrared sauna and also a cryotherapy session. This will be my first choice on all self-care days.

My time here at Freeze and Float was incredible. The serene atmosphere when entering made me want to just sit down and relax all my troubles away. Doing my first float session had put my body and mind in a state of tranquility, for what seemed like only a few a minutes, eventually my session had ended and I realized that an hour had passed. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed to know about Floats, Cryotherapy, Infrared, and Skincare services that they provide. After doing the Anti-aging Infrared sauna and facial(Amazing), I was taken to my own personal Float room and given instructions of how to float as a first timer. I was very skeptical of how I was going to float for 60 Minutes which seemed like a very long time! But, I was oh so very wrong! The time felt like it was 15 min and I had an out of this world experience that melted all my stress and muscle tension away! Unbelievable! I felt like a new person and ready to take on the day with so much energy and a fresh mind! I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family! Its is the perfect mini-vacation getaway to the busy Chicagoan!

You know youre in good place when the owners welcome you in with open arms! What an experience! Every little detail was sharpened to perfection: The scents, the water, the decor, the music, everything was thoughtfully researched and pieced together for human optimization. The Infrared Sauna was so nice and comfortable, the float tank was unreal (its the 4 seasons version of Float 60), and to top it off with the coldest cryo therapy possible. We cant stop telling all our friends about this experience and cannot wait to return!

Great first floating experience!I went and took advantage of their grand opening special and the staff was great, friendly, and very informed about the spa treatments they offer. The general ambiance of the space is very relaxing. I had an amazing and relaxing time! Definitely would go again and most likely will sign up for a membership. I have moderate shoulder and back pain and tightness due to standing for long periods of time for work and after a 60 minute float that pain just floated away (pun intended :D). Recommended it to a friend who has chronic back issues and they too had a great experience and felt that it helped a bunch. If you havent tried it you should!

I have done the signature lymphatic massage for 3 years with Lana!! She’s a magician and the sweetest person ever everytime I have done massage with her I come back relax and positiveThe more I have done the more I have seen results when it comes to my cellulite and weight loss. I gave birth 2 month and 3 weeks ago she advised me to come 3 time weekly and I have seen a big improvement for my stomach and cellulite!!

The environment is very inviting and relaxing the moment you step off the levator. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Had couple float sessions. Best to just turn off lights and music for true experience. Sauna was also great. In both types of experiences you have a whole private room for yourself.

We really enjoyed our float in salt (Epsom salt) water. It was very relaxing. The place was very clean and provided towels, robes, slippers, a hair dryer, and any other incidentals we might have needed.The one thing that I would say is to figure on a good hour and half to two hours for the one hour experience. The time in the water is an hour. A shower before and after with instructions, and there you go.

Float & Freeze has quickly become my favorite spa in Chicago. From my very first visit for a floating session I was in awe with the space, the energy and the staff there. Every little detail has been thought out to perfection and it’s guaranteed you receive the best experience. Besides the float sessions I most recently tried the lymphatic duo treatment and I must say it’s truly one of a kind. The treatment was in 3 steps; magnesium body wrap, followed by infrared sauna followed by the lymphatic massage. I mean, it doesn’t get better than that, right! And to add to the experience, the massage therapist I had was extremely knowledgeable on the “madero” wood tools used so she was able to explain their purpose and efficacy which I found so interesting. I am 100% hooked and have recommended the spa to all my friends. Please do yourself a favor and go check it out, you won’t regret it!

I suffer from severe anxiety and the float sessions really help me clear and calm my mind. I go several days a week as it is a wonderful meditative tool that has improved my clarity and my productivity. I also use the infrared sauna and it has done amazing things for my skin. The facility itself is very calming, extremely clean, and very high quality, and the staff (who are all very friendly and unpretentious) is very thorough in making sure that you are well educated about what to expect the treatment experience to be like, as well as providing a wealth of information on the benefits of each treatment. I keep bringing friends with me because this is now a self-care tool that I will continue to religiously use. I love it!

Love this place! super clean, the owners are amazing. Floating has changed my life - i personally do the package deal. I float once a day. Nothing in Chicago can compare to their float tanks - ive been to other places and i was definitely not as impressed as i am with freeze and float. Polite and professional employees offer service with a smile; Karolina is incredibly accommodating and dedicated to ensuring you receive a 5-star experience. The treatments are amazing, and complimentary tea and ice water are provided in the tastefully arranged meditation room for a complete immersion in inner peace. You will never want to leave, but when you do, you will feel refreshed, relaxed, and ready for a new start.

This was The Most Amazing Experience! I actually thought this was better than a deep tissue massage because most times you are sore after a massage. After the float, the pain in my shoulders from carrying my heavy school bag, was gone - plus it was Unbelievably Relaxing. I think its best to do in the evening because you are too relaxed to function, past eating and sleeping. Ive already told family and friends, cant wait to come back!

My wife and I did the freeze, sauna and float. We were there for about three hours total. Walking out we felt like we had just returned from a three day vacation. I had floated once before but, it was mediocre by comparison. This place is immaculate and the staff are lovely people.

FIVE STARS!!! I have been seeing Lana for Lymphatic Massage along with Sauna and Magnesium Wrap, and she is helping me so much. I had a bad reaction to the Covid vaccine in my left arm that swelled for months. She has been helping me drain it. So thankful for this place and Lana!!

I am a disabled combat veteran, I am in pain 100% of the time. I am lucky enough to have had the opportunity to float, and for about an hour I was able to relax to the point that my pain was secondary. Ive been going to Freeze and Float 2-3 times a week for the past few months, and cant say enough about the owner Karolina who goes above and beyond to make your experience as relaxing and restorative as possible. Her attention to detail and design (e.g. chilled water, a thoughtfully curated relaxation space, fluffy bath robes, an array of beauty products to use post-shower, spa-like music and scents, etc.) is incredible which creates a much-needed soothing oasis from the city. Ive tried other infrared saunas in the city, but prefer the one at F&F because its in a soothing, spa-like room all to itself and has the luxury of facilities to take a post-sauna shower. I rave about it to all my friends!

I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first, about floating. I didn’t know what to expect. I’m very claustrophobic so the thought of being in this tank for 60 minutes scared me a bit. The whole float experience was unlike anything I ever expected. The tanks are very big so my fears of being claustrophobic instantly diminished. My whole body and mind was in a complete state of relaxation. After the float, I did the infrared sauna for 45 minutes which I absolutely loved. It didn’t have that overly hot feeling that feels unbearable like a traditional sauna does. It was very relaxing. I also felt like I sweat 10 pounds away, which is always a plus to me! ;) But the feeling I felt after both experiences, was even better then I could imagine. I had this burst of energy that I could not explain and I felt like I was on cloud nine. That night I slept like a baby. I can’t wait to go back and do it all again. And next time I’m going to try the cryotherapy!

Freeze & Float spa is a beautiful serene spa right in the heart of Chicago in the River North neighborhood. It exemplifies the best in the health and wellness trends today. They offer 5 float rooms, a full spectrum infrared sauna and both whole body cryo and local cryo. The owners (and founders) are very knowledgeable about the modalities they offer and their attention to detail sets them apart. I have tried several other sauna/float places and I can honestly say that Freeze Float spa offers the most peaceful and overall the best experience. And if you havent tried floating or infrared saunas or cryo then you are potentially missing out on something that could have a huge impact on your health (as it does on mine). I am so thankful that we have such a place in Chicago. I honestly strongly believe that everyone could benefit from it.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO FLOAT IN CHICAGO!!!! Please go there! Just the nicest people that run it, and the ambiance is very relaxing and more attune to an actual zen feeling, unlike many of the others places I’ve tried. The float tanks are roomy and spacious, and cater to people who may struggle with claustrophobia! There’s also a room for facials and waxing, and a lovely sauna... plus cryotherapy! If you’re new to floating or do it all the time, please give this place a try! ITS THE BEST :)

The place is terrific!! It is beautifully decorated and the owners are very nice people. I go there for facial treatments with Marina. She is very, very good and her facial room is also very nicely decorated and very clean. I have been with Marina for more than a year and highly recommend her.

My husband and I both go to this wonderful place. It really is as good as it seems. My husband has been playing soccer his entire life, and the Cryotherapy really helps with his joint pain. This place has a relaxing atmosphere and I am going back tomorrow. Probably the best freeze and float in Chicago.

I was looking try a float spa / tank somewhere in West Loop, this spa popped up and I immediately booked an appointment the same day. I had never been and didnt know what to expect, I thought I was literally going to be in a bathtub with some salt. This blew my mind, this is next level type of stuff, I was lucky enough to see how everything works as I asked one of the owner/managers how the process happens. This place is extremely clean and everything is on point. Ill be back.

This place is amazing. Its cozy and romantic, super clean. I took my wife for birthday spa and wanted something unique. Experience we got was way above any of our expectations... she was thrilled. Thank you for the amazing experience. We highly recommend this unique SPA to anyone.

The tea is amazing. The float was an incredible experience. I slept for days! What differentiates this place from others is the great service and friendly staff. They will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

Very tranquil setting. Was greeted by lovely receptionist as soon as I exited the elevator. I was taken to a room where I could shower before and after my session. Soap, slippers, towel, robe provided.Afterwards, I was greeted with tea, lemon and honey. I sat down and felt at peace. I broke away from the hectic life we’re expected to live and probably shed a tear.The float session was a reminder that I can’t forget to love myself and pause for a bit before reentering the concrete jungle we call Chicago.

We came here for a bachelorette party and they were very accommodating and managed to fit us in in spite of a scheduling mishap. Super clean facilities, amazing and relaxing treatments, and other cute little amenities like delicious tea and a little hair drying/styling station in case you have to leave the spa looking work/date/etc ready.

The ambiance of the space it-self is beautiful and calming. The hospitality is amazing! And the services offered are so helpful! Love how I felt after my float session! Highly recommended!

Didnt know much about floating but now understand why people love it so much. Karolina was so helpful and made my first float flawless. After float meditation room with teas and alkaline water is a must!

This place is absolutely beautiful, the owners and incredible people, and every detail was considered when designing this fantastic spa. I called for a last-minute appointment and they accommodated me, even staying past closing time and making sure I didn’t feel rushed. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in Chicago!

Ahhhhh I love love this place!!! I love the floating, massage (Lana has been my therapist long before this place), infrared sauna, everything. This is my sanctuary in the city.

I don’t recommend the IV therapy there. The nurse tried twice and failed… they only have 20 G needles there?? Like what ??The wait time was long too.

Pristine facilities, top of the line equipment, and hospitable service. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They even accommodated my request to utilize the facility on New Years Day. :) Highly recommend.
