Grasshopper Club Logan Square Chicago Dispensary

Ive been coming to this location for a while now, but Im finally making myself write a review. To be clear, the personnel are always friendly, engaging and helpful, but I had a particularly great experience with Lanh. I hope I got that spelling right.I was taken aback by how much he knew about this stuff. I value informed recommendations very highly, and he really took the time and made the effort to navigate me to my best choice, while considering my rather pathetic budget. And I appreciate that!Working sucks, we all know it. So when you are good at your job, and youre cool, that deserves some credit. Credit to these folks at Grasshopper Club for just that.Highly recommending this fine establishment for all your weed needs.

Great dispensary. Very knowledgeable staff. Fast friendly service. Always smiles when you walk in as well as departure. I (highly) recommend researching the alternative of THC/CBD to pills or shots. Lots of medicinal uses. Must talk with lann, super knowledgeable about all the products, will walk you through any and all questions or concerns. Great experience. And they accept debt now, but of course theres always a ATM in the lobby.

I brought a friend here who was visiting from out of town and we had a great experience. Jordan greeted us when we came in, shared a lot of knowledge about different products, and helped my friend find the perfect flower to last through the visit. We had a great experience checking out too. Definitely would shop here again.

How is this voted best dispensary? I’d never pay these prices. Go half a mile down Milwaukee and have a much better experience. Ascend beats this place with both positive vibes and prices.

Really love the customer service, selection, and overall environment. Checking in is never a problem and once I’m inside it is always super easy to find what I want whether I’m discussing options with staff or looking through what’s in stock by myself. Always nice to go in and find out about a different deal or offer available that week!

I came here last week and the mixed girl at the counter pretended like she didn’t know me because she has a jealous issue. She saw me a few times at the dispensary in the south loop. I come to this location she is highly rude pretends like I couldn’t use my points from the south loop location at this one. When I said I’ll just stop smoking she had this evil grin on her face of satisfaction. Needless to say I will never come back and whatever points I had they can keep. They need to hire people with confidence or teach their employees that customers are not their competition. Teach their employees to control their ego when dealing with their money or they’ll be just like Medmen. Permanently Closed. ✌🏽

This is the only dispensary I patronize in the city. The associates are well-informed and so helpful. Ian and Lanh helped me the last time I was there and they were awesome. I can’t wait to go back!

Awesome dispensary and even better budtenders , Kay thank you so much for being amazing everytime I showed up. Honestly you were the reason why I kept showing up. Prices are reasonable. They have deals on a good selection and also a lot of different brands. Just not enough flavors or strains to choose from. But regardless good smoke , good weed , pretty fresh , stuff that been packaged with a month, which is not bad for a dispensary. Over all I enjoyed the store the products and the people. Love making them laugh and they we’re definitely laughing! Also I started trading pins so it was fun to be able to interact with the workers as well 10/10 definitely recommend checking out this place and asking for miss KAY 💚🍃💨

Overpriced and not enough kiosks. I dont want to talk to your budtender about their favorites. I want to order, get my stuff, and leave. It will be out of business by 2026 GUARANTEED

The staff here is super friendly and happy to answer any questions I have. There’s a large selection of different brands and products so there’s something for everyone. Last time I was in I found out they’re dog friendly so I can’t wait to stop by on a walk next time.

BEST dispensary in Chicago. Staff is always welcoming and very knowledgable. This store always has great products, especially their craft flower selection. If you’re a local or visitor, Grasshopper Club has to be on your list.

This place has the best employees hands down. Seriously from the door to when you are walking out it is consistently the smoothest, friendliest and quickest experience I have ever had at a dispo.But the employees deserves a better website / ordering system. Make sure the sales shown are accuarate, it has happened to me and my friends more than once. I would think it makes a day harder on everyone....But Im not even deducting a star thats how great this dispo is.

I’m an infrequent consumer who still gets confused by terminology, labels, etc. I need to be walked through products and talk with someone about what I’m looking for. The staff here are so friendly and they’ll take their time explaining anything, answering questions, and discussing options. They’ll even try to find you products that match your needs and are on sale! The music is always great in here too and it’s just a really nice shop. This will be my go to moving forward.

I read an excellent Chicago Sun-Times article today about the Brewer family and them opening Grasshopper Club so that’s what brought me in. I absolutely support black owned businesses but I especially wanted to support a dispensary because of the racial disparities with marijuana and people of color ✊🏾 Dan was my budtender and he was AWESOME, I loved his knowledge on cannabis and terpenes. He made really great suggestions and because I was a new member I go 20% off! 🙀🫶🏾TIP: you exit on a different street you come in on so if you’re looking for Milwaukee Ave, make a left when you come out 😄. I’m not familiar with Logan Square and I started walking in the wrong direction looking for the street where I parked my car 😅

This is such a great place! Me being a family orientated individual, I couldnt ask for anything more from this incredible dispensary. Everyone is so knowledgeable and will steer you in the direction that youre trying to go wether youre a veteran to the industry or just spreading your wings. You can feel the family vibes in this place, and if were talking quality, you dont have to look any further. Do yourself a favor and visit. its definitely an experience that you can be happy about. The best dispensary experience. So happy I don’t have to go to Sunnyside as much…the staff at this place is top tier and the location is amazing. Very happy this is part of Chicago.- update 6/10 - not sure why customers can’t use the bathroom anymore but ok, here $200 for overpriced products. Can’t stand places that will take your money but can’t accommodate basic human needs. Also a few of these new employees seem miserable.

Entrance blends in with the neighborhood aesthetic, you might miss it. Knowledgeable staff, decent selection of edibles. Can pay w/ debit card. More of a chill atmosphere from what I could tell (compared to stoners).

Small menu, majority overpriced, weird experience with staff, and to top it off your website is down over half the time I try to click on itIm done checking yall menu, Logan square sucks anyways. Hit up Cannabist in Jefferson Park for WAYYY better deals

Very helpful staff. I’m an less experienced consumer and the person who helped me set me up with exactly what I was looking for. As for the store, it’s as clean and as professional as it gets, and located conveniently to public transit. It’s also an independently owned store and I’d almost always rather shop local when it makes sense. Only complaint is the prices, but welcome to Illinois. It’s like that everywhere!

I was very impressed by the staff and store at Grasshopper. Skyler took very good care of me. She was friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I met the owner and was appreciative of the time he to to speak with me and share the story about the business. The entire staff starting at the front door security were so welcoming. They have a wide selection and everything is displayed so nicely you can see what they have. Thank you Grasshopper, I will be back.

Nice! Cool hidden gem in Logan Sq. next to an escape room with good vibes and friendly staff. They were filming for a tv show on N. Milwaukee the day I went, so parking was kinda funny lol

The manager lied on me said she asked me something twice when I was asked once and I came back two more times afterwards spent money with no problem but today the light skin security lady started saying I was banned out something I didn’t know about then I asked her how she said I kept being asked I told her I was only asked once the black security guard man would tell y’all so they kept acting rude I snatched my id and left I’ll take my business elsewhere since the manager lied on me!! I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person she ran off she’s running off your customers making up lies!!! I came everyday spent $50 or better but now I go to the one on Roosevelt the workers are nicer and they have better deals!

Dispensary has great stuff. The only negative things are the long line waits with only 1 cashier. I also don’t like the fact that a pre order is only an order they don’t reserve your items so there is a chance you come in like I did and my order was no longer available. This is a problem for specially during sales.

Haven’t tried the product yet, but I’ve only heard good things. The place is nice and there are plenty of people to help out customers. This place gets 4 stars because of the exit situation. The entrance is off Elston, but you have to exit through a different door at the back and either walk around the corner of the main streets or walk through and alley to get back to elston. I didn’t like that because I struggle with directional orientation and if my phone was dead, I would have for real been lost. I feel like guests should know before they go and there should be more direct signage.

Amazing and friendly experience! our budtender was focused on getting us the most amount of products for the least amount of money and she really did a good job. I will definitely be back the next time Im in town.

First and only time that I’ll be buying from here. The woman that “helped” me was cold and unhelpful. When I asked her questions or for suggestions, she simply would tap on the tablet screen to different parts of the website so I could scroll through the choices. I was disappointed in the customer service that was given.

Love this place, its so much better than the other dispensary in Logan in terms of service and speed. Friendly, welcoming environment with plenty of products on display to browse. And the location could not be any more convenient (for me at least).The only things they could improve would be more sorting options on their website and gaining a medical license. Id love the ability to filter out shake products or only view specific weights. While you still have to pay recreational taxes as a medical patient, they WILL provide a discount (20% I believe) for med card holders, which almost cancels it out.

The budtender Amanda L was not only a very cute sight but she was very helpful with my order and even threw in some free stickers and a free stash jar!!! This is such a straightforward and solid dispo, I will be coming back!! This is also Chicago’s first Black Owned Dispensary and I couldn’t be more satisfied!!

Came in to purchase a cartridge. Price was not reasonable for this purchase. Cartridge looked dark when I opened the packaging. So I was quite hesitant to even use it. Didn’t even last a week! And it finished. So I’m quite confused what this dispensary is selling to customers. I will not be coming here. Hope you all stay safe and look thoroughly about what you purchasing

Where’s the 10 stars out of 5 stars option?? No seriously! As someone who frequents places such as this, this one ought to be by far my favorite. Someone immediately greats you and helps you upon entering. Everyone was very nice and helpful, giving lots of options and asking questions to help you best. Never felt pressured to buy something. This is my new favorite shop and will continue and recommend.

Love this place! The shop was decorated beautifully and had a great vibe. I walked in and was greeted right away. I have fibromyalgia and all of my questions were answered about good pain management. I got 4 things! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. By the time I was done, I felt like I had new friends!! I cant wait to come back!!

The staff was nice and their store vibes are cool, however, thats where the compliments end. I went in and told them what I was looking for, which was something to help manage pain while keeping me alert; I ended up with two items that left me feeling like a foot heavy, 400lb. zombie. So, thats a bit odd since Im not overweight and not what I asked for. In the end, Im not happy or impressed. Honestly, go somewhere else that knows their product, what theyre doing, and actually wants to help you.Edit:After speaking with another place I confirmed my suspicion... I was given completely the wrong stuff. So, thanks for stealing $60 from me because I didnt know any better. Youre supposed to help and teach people, not take advantage of them.

Top notch experience from walking in, to walking out. This location is so dope on the inside, definitely doesn’t feel like every other dispensary with their sanitized decor and setup. Sick mural inside done by a local artist I believe. Seeing all the diverse staff made me realize just how different this experience was going to be from the jump. Also really cool to see diverse brands being featured. Cant wait to come back when I have more time to chill by the bar and check out the whole lineup. Keep it up Grasshopper Club!!!

Best dispensary in the neighborhood but their debit card system has been down for weeks (the past three times I’ve visited in the past two weeks it’s been unusable). Has resulted in a lot of ATM fees as I was expecting to pay with a card and it’s a huge hassle to hit the bank first. Not a great experience.

Grasshopper club is by FAR the best dispensary in the Chicago land area! Amazing inventory, friendly and welcoming staff, and a trendy shop that brings back the nostalgia of the 90’s! You’re missing out if you haven’t checked them out yet!

Beautiful new dispensary inside a historic bank building in Logan Square! Its so cool! Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and excited about the products they carry. Overall the experience and location is great and I will definitely be back!

This is my second time coming and it made me decide that this is MY official dispensary of choice. Zack was my budtender and he was extremely knowledgeable with Paul being super helpful. Monika and Taylor made my checkout experience extremely pleasant and even went above and beyond with a souvenir. 100% recommend!

Wow! I’ve been to quite a few dispensaries and BY FAR, this is my favorite! The menu includes most of my favorites and the staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I also got a first time buyer discount! Unfortunately 5 stars is the max rating… They deserve a 10!

I’ve been to a lot of dispensaries in Chicago, Vegas, AZ, Cali, and beyond and this is by far the coolest! First, amazing selection of unique products and brands which I haven’t seen anywhere else. A lot of Black/Women/POC owned brands. Second, friendly and cool staff. Prices are comparable to other dispensaries in the city. Third, very slick, warm, welcoming space. Def need to check it out! This is my new dispensary!

This has to be the best experience I’ve had at a dispensary in a decade. I walked into what seems like a sanctuary for an army veteran. Angel was, in fact, just as his namesake. He was more knowledgeable than even myself. He asked my preferences and how I wanted to feel. I suffer from chronic migraines and the pain has pushed me to unimaginable limits. He helped me put together a profile that would actually help me eat, relax, and finally get a good nights rest. I’m not normally the type for a review but he truly deserves more than just a review. Me and my father came into the city over the weekend and stopped into the grasshopper club. Angel helped us and did a fantastic job. We got home yesterday and almost want to fly back just for grasshopper!

I’ve really wanted to like this place. I’ve given them multiple tries and there’s just too many mistakes to bother with. I’ve had preorders cancelled and was sold a cartridge that required a special battery that I wasn’t informed of. Just today I went to pick up a preorder only to be told they were sold out. Why wasn’t my order reserved?

Used to be my favorite dispensary, prices don’t make sense when you can walk to ascend and pay half the price.
