Love getting a massage here, can be a little noisy at times but the massage therapist are very good and the owner is kind. Overall a great option for an affordable, enjoyable and relaxing massage.

WOW! Thats all I can say. I was not expecting my massage to be up to my standards(I like a very thorough and heavy hand) but this place completely BLEW ME AWAY! Fantastic place, Id definitely recommend the 90 min whole body massage you will not be disappointed. I did not like how exposed we were for the first portion of the massage because anyone coming in can see you but to be completely honest the massage and techniques they used were so great after the first 5 min I completely forgot people could see me lol I will 10000% be returning and if you want the best massage of your life ask for MARY 😊

Not a very relaxing experience at all. The owners phone was ringing very loudly every 5-10 mins. Also, they gave me 52-min massage and charged me for 60 mins! Finally, my masseuse was pushing my spine super hard I was scared he was going to break it. Do not recommend!

Great massage place!! very nice and relaxing environment, super nice employees that listen to what you would like. prices are very low, would suggest leaving a good tip since you are getting a service that should be double what they charge! for the people complaining on here about tipping $10- i always tip atleast 50% because of the very low and reasonable prices, and how amazing they are! they always take walk-ins and they are open late which is a nice stop on my way home from school/work 😊 highly recommend!!!! the hot oil/hot stone massage is the best in my opinion

Came here since they seemed to have fantastic reviews. Overall massage was alright and good customer service. My only concern is how the business staff treat those on how people want to tip at the end. They have a sign next to their menu price of “tip suggestions” with amounts based on the service you recieved. Before I paid, a customer in front of me didnt tip as much as the suggested amount and a guy and lady that worked there basically treated her as she made a mistake and kept trying to have her tip more when she was clearly dissatisfied with the service. Then when it was my turn they placed the receipt in front of me and as I was about to write the amount the lady closely leaned over and watched what tip I was putting down to make sure I left the “suggested tip amount” which I did. This made me feel uncomfortable as I’ve gotten many massages done before at different places but this level of pushy-ness to leave a tip regardless of the service is something I haven’t experienced before.Note to business owner: I know you are very busy and try to accommodate as many people as you can, but please don’t be so pushy to leave tips. Even if the massage is excellent please don’t expect customers to pay what you want them to. You have a noticeable sign and that’s enough for people to notice and put according the service they received.

I had the worse massage ever from here the guy did a horrible job I was in pain the entire time . He used no lotion and dug his elbows into my back for an entire hour. My skin has bruising all over my body. Will NOT go back and will NOT recommend to anyone. I left a very small tip because I was not happy with my service as soon as I wrote something down the lady started speaking another language to my massage guy, I’m assuming about my tip, Rude !Train your employees to not be lazy and maybe the tip would be higher.

I can’t say I know how the massage is. I came in with unexpected neck pain after work today. I didn’t have an appointment so I knew I may not be seen. I was told to wait 30 min and then someone could give me massage. I waited in my car (my choice) and came back in 25 minutes. When I came back they told me they “forgot” they had another appointment at that time. I was told to wait another 5 minutes and if the client showed up I could be seen. The client showed up and I was told “sorry, have a good night.” People were nice there, but it was really disappointing to be told to wait 30 minutes and then be told I couldn’t be seen. My neck hurts so bad - brutal. I felt bad for the client too because he could tell that I had waited and that because he showed up I couldn’t be seen. He apologized to me (not his fault!) I was surprised they would make this client aware that by him showing up I couldn’t be helped. Disappointed all around. I told they poor client it was all good ❤️

I just had a high quality hour long massage for $30 and it was really relaxing! I would totally recommend this place and will absolutely be back! Staff were kind, friendly and skilled, and efficient at getting me in. They also have punch cards that gives you even more of a discount after you spend enough. I am a happy customer!

They did not know what they were doing I did massage professionally for ten years and the person giving the massage did everything my massage instructors warned me against person giving the massage ran his hands down my spine directly on the bones of my spine. After the massage the owner would not lat me go until I gave large enough tip to make her happy I will never go back.

Brought my sisters in for a relaxing one hour massage. The four of us enjoyed our experience. The prices are reasonable. $40.00 including tip for an hour massage was great. As a massage therapist myself I thought it was a very good massage. Ill return, hopefully soon.

My wife had been pleased with her two prior visits to Take Your Shoes Off Massage so she took me along this evening. All in all it was a good experience. I enjoyed the massage. It wasnt to firm or aggressive. The chairs were comfortable. Relaxing music played through speakers overhead with contributed to the mellow mood. As for ambiance the store is clean and thoughtfully decorated. I would give it an 8 out of 10. Its worth a visit...especially at $20 an hour for a thorough foot rub down. The one critism I have is that considering there were two employees if someone entered the store or the phone rang one of the two would be required to step away. This occured twice on our visit.

The massage was good and the place was clean.I just didn’t like the way the owner likes to force you for more tips.They charged me $20 and wanted $10 tips! Thats 50%Its better that they increase their price and stop forcing clients for tips.Tips are supposed to be optional not forced!!

I dont even want to write a good review so no one else can go to the place lol. I love it and its my favorite massage parlor from sac to reno. It has the best prices, will always try and fit you in if you dont have an appointment scheduled, and I feel like a new woman since I have started going weekly.

Amazing service, I only did the 30 min foot massage, but it felt like I was there for hours. They hit all of the right spots - including a face and scalp massage. I can’t wait to go back! The prices are really good too!

My husband and I went to this shop for a massage. During the massage, the owner of the shop suddenly asked a boy to give my husband a massage. The girl who gave my husband a massage was replaced. The guards in this shop were very poor and the sheets were dirty. , I feel a lot of oil on the bed sheet, it is very uncomfortable, the bed sheet should have been used several times without changing, I will never go to this massage shop

This place and service provided is awesome! Very professional and courteous. The gentleman took his time and provided a very relaxing well needed massage. The ambiance is great! Im an out of towner and wish we had a service Ive this thats so affordable! I definitely recommend everyone to go and take their shoes off! They provide full body massages, not just foot. Saw the ad in Chico’s coupon books so gave this place a try. Called and she said we needed an appointment because they were busy. I get there and there was not a single customer, just three employees. The place was nice and had a very relaxing vibe. The language barrier between the person who I assume is the owner was a slight issue as she freaked out when I came with two other people. I told her it wasnt a big deal and we could reschedule but she said no she’ll make it work. My friends got their massages started right away, but i had the owner do mine and she took 15 minutes to start on me. Paid for a hot oil body massage but barely got any oil on my body. The warm they has us keep our feet in was luke warm, wasn’t even a decent warm temperature. Even though they had curtains between each chairs none were pulled. This didn’t bother me until she made me strip my top half and left the curtains open when there was a male masseuse next to me who wasn’t even the one working on my body. And i get the pants need to be pulled down a little to adequately massage the lower back but she has my pants almost all the way below my bottom and she didn’t care at all. The curtain was left open the entire time and we were right next to the door where anyone could have walked in at any moment. Near the end of massage multiple people walked in, and she kept leaving me to attend to people. And kicking them out because she said she was busy. Told them to return the next day without even trying to set an appointment. She also rushed the end of my massage.At the very end when we paid, she criticized that I didn’t tip her $10 per person and tried to guilt me saying everyone does. This was very unprofessional.Overall i didnt get what i paid for, i was exposed to the public. The massage was decent. Environment is nice but could be a little bit more private. They need to hire a designated receptionist and schedule better. I thought about giving them a second chance but after her remark about my tipping, i definitely will not.Hope this review helps others.

I visited the “Take Off Your Shoes” shop at the Mangrove Shopping Mall across from the Cemetery, and close to the New Natural Ice Cream store. The business has opened recently, it was clean and uncluttered. My massage was very good, the staff was very responsive to my requests for attention to problem muscles. I will gladly return, and have no problem giving a “decent” tip. My experience was positive and productive.

I work 12 hour shifts all week, I came in so much pain my skin felt like it was going to fall off. I havent stopped smiling since I left! Their services are absolutely amazing, I recommend the full hour, I went for 30 minutes and wish I would have stayed longer. Ill be going back every weekend🤗

Zero star, if I could.Went in for a quick relax because the massages were advertised cheap.A guy who doesnt understand and speak English at all massaged me.Bad massage, more like pinching my skin and flesh. Painful.Obviously he doesnt know what hes doing.When checking out, the woman tells me theyre going to add $1 just because Im paying with a credit card. Nowhere in the store stated such a (illegal) policy, but I said okay. Nevertheless, I left a 20% tip. The woman saw the amount and told me I need to tip at least $10, which was more than a 50% tip. I told her Im already leaving you a 20% tip, and youre demanding for more? Also told her Im not obligated to tip at all, she doesnt seem to understand. She was unreasonable.The whole experience could have ended well, but I was unhappy in the end.

Very unhappy with my service. I was not impressed by the massage and when I went to tip $5 I was told people usually leave $10 and was harassed to leave more. I thought I was being more then fair given I was not happy with the service. A good/professional business would not pressure or make you feel bad for the tip that you leave.
