This place is poppin and the girls are beautiful love the atmosphere. The bartenders are the real heroes here. The doorman are amazing as well and they really do their jobs well. My favorite bartender there is Jen she’s amazing and does such an amazing job! The whole stuff there all do an amazing job to make sure your having fun and have a safe environment while at it.

I was a DD here on Saturday night, completely sober. They added a 29% tip to the cover, I guess so it wouldnt be a rounded number. I wouldnt have noticed if I had a beer or something there but literally just paid the cover and thats it. Im going to contest the charge with the cc company so they know something shady is going on too. I wonder how many people are getting ripped off like this, probably everyone. The bar seems fun and high energy.

I love the Crazy Horse Saloon! Ive been coming to this place since I was 16 back when it was called The Temple. It has changed a lot over the years. My parents, relatives and siblings have frequented the Crazy Horse Saloon well over 20 years making memories, enjoying dancing and good drinks.I came back to town and came down with my sister. It was a Friday night and maybe a dozen people. My husband and I came back a few months later to bring our daughter who just recently turned 21. We had hoped to show her the exciting place where we used to go together but instead they were not playing country music and there were only three other people on a Saturday.I have been by a couple more times and Im not seeing the crowds I used to. The staff is friendly and the drinks compared to other bars are not unreasonable or bad. I do think the old place needs a good cleaning or a little update here an there. My younger sisters dont want to come here with me because they have had the same dead experience in the recent years.Ill be back again later this year. I truly hope to see the Hey Dayz I used to. 🥰

A group of friends and I went to the crazy horse on Saturday, we had the best time ever. Staff was friendly, helpful, and timely. Service was fantastic. The vibe was wonderful ,met a lot of good people there. I would definitely go to this bar again.

Sometimes the music is good. Sometimes the music is atrocious. They really need to catch up with the times. Instead of playing line dancing music all the time, how about playing some other stuff? I have nothing against line dancing, but if youre going to make your whole bar about that, at least teach people how to do itEdit: music is only getting worse, the DJs are really 😞, its like being at an 8th grade dance recital

This western themed bar is alot of fun. They have a mechanical bull a shot chair and a large dance floor ( that generally full). Tons of staff and multiple bars so you never have to wait to long for a drink.

Had a blast here on Saturday with a group of friends. The atmosphere was fantastic everyone was just looking for a good time. The staff were amazing we were well taken care of. I will definitely be going back to the crazy horse

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at The Crazy Horse. Not only did they charge a $10 entry fee, but they also added a $4 service fee for using my credit card, on top of the initial $0.49cent charge. This meant that my first beer, which cost $6, ended up totaling $24. The accumulation of these fees made for an unnecessarily expensive and frustrating visit. I would not be coming back to this place. There are way better options to have a beer than this place. BELLAS SPORTS BAR. PARK SIDE, THE DOWN LOW to name a few. AVOID THE CRAZY HORSE!

If you are visiting from out of state, DO NOT come here.I grew up in Chico and always wanted to check out what the Crazy Horse was all about. After recently moving back down from Oregon, my cousin and I decided to go check it out for her 32th birthday. We waited in line for over an hour in the cold assuming that it was a popular night and that there was a reason for the long wait. We come to find out from the person ahead of us that it is a new bouncer that was causing a hold up. By the time we got to the front of the line, the bouncer compares my ID to the pamphlet since he isnt familiarized with Oregon IDs. He seemed confused and had his coworker who was passing by glanced at it, stratch at my face on the ID and then said no. In shock, I asked if they could just scan the barcode on my ID since I have never had my ID refused. I also have done bartending for over 5 years, reviewing many state liscences and am competent to weed out fake ones from real ones. They response was extremely rude and left a bitter vibe. I was willing to spend big at the Crazy Horse for my cousins birthday but will unfortunately not be coming back due to incompetence and rudeness.

I’m guessing the owner gets a big share of the tips. Doesn’t make any sense that there’s so many reviews about getting overcharged yet it is still going on in March 2023. I’ve called multiple times and no website for any other contact info. For anyone that plans to go here, do not use card. They will overcharge you

One of the bartenders somehow found my venmo sent me a venmo request for $10 at the end of the night after I tipped him $5 on a $6 cash tab on buck night. I do not trust the bartenders. I double checked my credit card statement and the other charges I made there all went through so I definitely didnt owe them any money.

I love everything about this bar, from the atmosphere to the food. I must say, the DJ was excellent

Only worth it on buck night on Wednesdays. On Wednesdays its great the vibe is there, lots of dancing, etc and I had a good time on buck night , the girls are also very nice (hence the two stars). BUT watered down drinks (Im not a big drinker anymore, I also have friends who are bartenders so I know how a good drink is to be made). On buck night I had a single vodka cran which was mostly just cran and soda water, so I ended up just downing a bunch of long drinks and white claws. I went on Saturday and it was absolutely dead. We decided to go because of my friends birthday. She wanted to ride the bull. We went up to the bar to get drinks. I asked one of the male bartenders for a black superman, which is basically an AMF, just switch out triple sec for tequila (to get a black superman , use triple sec instead of tequila for black superman) , bartender straight up told me NO , my friends then proceeded to ask for an AMF ,I watched him make it and the drink was 90% sweet and sour mix , a shot of blue curaçao , and a shot of vodka which is not an AMF, the drink was so sour my friends said it tasted like they were drinking a warhead candy. They said they felt nothing from that drink. Ive been able to get PROPER AMFs & black Supermans from down lo, Madison bear garden and the beach. So the fact that the bartender told me no and proceeded to make an AMF incorrectly was a huge red flag that I shouldn’t drink from the bar or I just would’ve wasted my money. So I just proceeded to buy a white claw from near the entrance from one of the girls who was very nice.Only worth it to go for the cheap $1 shots & $2 beers on Wednesdays . More people are there, its cheaper and the dancing is better.

There was a bartender who was incredibly rude to me, she took my newly bought drink away from me and denied me water when I asked for a few cups for me and my friends. When I asked for a refund on my drink that I just ordered she screamed at me from across the bar. The rest of the night was fun, but she alone made me mad enough to actually want to write a review. -2 removed because of her. Otherwise it was a fun club.

I was warned by one of the servers who is an old roommate to not come here. That when they scan your drink with their “gun” they automatically tack on $2 per drink if you pay with card.EDIT FOR OWNER: I may have misinterpreted what she was saying about the scanner or “gun”. But I was most definitely told they tack on $2 per drink when paying card. Only reason I never came. If you have an email I will let you know who told me and change my review.

Not only are the drinks watered down to the point I was sober after 8 whisky cokes, they charged me 40$ on my card on buck night for 2 drinks (paid the rest cash). Super disappointing would not recommend unless you want to hang sober in an establishment that smells like cigarettes.

This bartender was super rude. I tried ordering two tap water and she trying to charge us $12. After confirming the price, I told her we are good. Then she gave me only one water…she then proceed to chewed my friend out for wanting another water cup. Why is such a hateful person works here?

Fun place! Beautiful ladies, big dance floor. Electric bull riding, outdoor patio. Kamikaze Chair. Good music. Male bathrooms could be cleaner and not smell like piss so bad

Great place to dance, learn some line dance, with some beautiful sweet waitresses, who also perform there own dances on stage. They also teach swing dancing! They have buck night on Wednesday night where you can order drinks all night for just $1. They have a mechanical bull that is tons of fun. The bartenders are super fast and friendly! I love the staff and the atmosphere is awesome, this is a country bar but the DJ plays all kinds of music depending on the audience. All together great night!

By far the worst bar in chico. Imagine a fantastic bar setting with everything you could ever want in a bar being ruined by bartenders adding their own tips to run up your tab. Both of my roomates we charged 40$ or more for one drink because the bartenders tip themselves 😂😂 not only that but they have a cover charge at the door for buck night, so you can spend 7 rounds of drinks just on the entrance

I witnessed an act of blatant homophobia by the door staff the other night to an associate of mine. It was disgusting to watch it unfold. Im pretty sure that it was recorded by another group too, it was so bad. I would of thought the staff would be trained better...

LOVE LOVE LOVE The Crazy Horse Saloon!!! safest bar in town!!! They have hot crazy horse girls and they teach line dancing, they also have pool tables,mechanical bull ride contests and a shot chair!!! Not to mention great music and dancing! If you want to feel safe and be around awesome fun friendly people and staff...its the Crazy Horse Saloon all around!!!

Wednesdays are the best here! good drinks and a super fun dance floor:) not to mention the nice little outside patio to get some fresh air without having to leave the bar:)

Fun night. Dance floor was too sticky to really dance on. The pretty manager did try to fix that though. The cocktail waitress Sarah was awesome!!!!! Best reason to go to Crazy Horse. Lots and lots of young college girls. Which is another good reason. The only bad thing I have to say is that the new girl did pick up my shot of Cuervo 1800 before I had drank it. But all and all. A good night.

This place is dishonest and should be boycotted. They charge you full price and claim they are serving you Red Bull when in fact what they serve is a cheap mix. Am I mistaken? Are my taste buds confused? Absolutely not. The bartender admitted it when I asked and was told that his boss told him to lie or go look for another job. They are also the most expensive bar in town and charge $4.50 for a well drink when the place is dumpy and tired. Save your money and have fun in a place that deserves your patronage.

This is an amazing bar to head to if youre looking to have a great night out. Great staff and great drinks. Take a shot in the shot chair or ride the mechanical bull. Even if you just want to relax and listen to great music, this is the place to be!

I use to hype this place up to everyone i know had lots of fun but felt really disrespected tonight. I spent way to much money and tipped the guy just to get ice thrown at me and tell me i couldnt get another drink all because i didnt tip enough. Rude and horrible service will not being telling anyone to go there anymore.

Honestly the wait outside is horrendous, they purposefully wait till 9:30 to hurry up to charge people the fee, been here since 8:45 and didn’t get in till after 9:30

DJ sucks, honestly dont know how they even have a job or any business at that place. A bar called Crazy Horse Saloon should be playing country with some rock thrown in there all night, not that rap garbage.

I really liked this bar until last weekend. The drama that is inside the staff of this bar is unreal and unprofessional and many of the cocktail waitresses are scandalous. I personally wont be back again.

Staff was incredibly rude. I get that they have to deal with drunk people all night but i ask them politely a question and i get treated like an idiot and try to shoo me away as quickly as possible. Not coming back here again.

Friendly staff, awesome prices, security is on point with any situation, and the mechanical bull is a must when you visit The Crazy Horse.

If you want to dance to country music, this is one of two options in town. But you are going to pay more, for small drinks, pay to get in, and its kinda dark and dirty.

Got skipped twice at the bar and then moved to the other bar and proceeded to be skipped numerious times and got the wrong drink.. in total waited 45mins for one drink. Do not recommend

HADNT BEEN THERE FOR YEARS, BUT WENT LAST WEEK. KINDA DINGEY. HARDLY PLAYED ANY COUNTRY MUSIC. PEOPLE WORKING THERE WERE REALLY NICE ONCE WE TIPPED THEM GOOD AND THE UPSIDE WAS THAT IT WASNT CROWDED FOR A SATURDAY NIGHT.
