Dont waste your money, its an empty bar the bouncers are scaring off all the business. The bartenders are great but the bouncers are rude and the main reason nobody wants to go here anymore. Its one thing to do your job its another to be miserable and spend your time harassing paying costumers. Not good energy here, no energy at all really due to everyone being banned and nobody wanting to pay to get into a place that watches you like criminals. Cant have a good time here.

Honestly the majority of the bouncers are rude. This place is going out of business because they keep banning people for the smallest inconvenience. It’s the bouncers for me. They hold personal grudges and take it out on the clients. Not only that if you make them upset the’ll put you in a group chat and ruin your whole night everywhere down town. I’ve also been Harassed by one of their female bouncers she was off duty came up to me trying to start a fight saying I was flirting with her girlfriend who also works there which is not my type. Her gf (butch bouncer female) also came up behind her arms crossed like she’d let her do whatever she wanted. This female off duty bouncer was drunk and Continuously approaching my group saying that she worked there and was trying to start problems and assert her Dominance in an unattractive disrespectful ignorant way. At this point I won’t be returning to the beach or any of the connecting bars I’ve been treated disrespectfully harassed and as a long-term paying customer I feel like I deserve better. Even the staff that I’m friends with have said the same thing to me

I like it but too much of one variety of music. I mean come one its St. PATTY day and it was just that one type of music. No offense, I like it but if it the last 2 hours of it. Im done. There was 1 song and then the rest is catered to only that one group. Im kinda tired of it. You guys need to change DJ or if not, change it up. How can the Univeristy bar have better music and its not a dance club.

One of my favorite clubs in all of Northern California! Amazing staff from the DJs to the Bar Tenders. Would recommend this place to anyone! Eclectic always provides great hospitality.

Me and my cousin had a fun experience in the VIP section upstairs on 10/29/2022. The best part was I got lots of attention wearing my Pennywise costume. Downstairs however was too crowded with everyone dancing.

Absolutely the worst experience with a bartender we’ve ever had. The blonde bartender we had was clearly high on some kind of stimulate, and was very unprofessional. We tried to get our I.D back to close our tabs when she completely ignored me and my boyfriend, then instead of helping us, decided to call security making a complete fool of herself and the bar itself in my opinion. Definitely not going back if that bartender is there. The worst part was that when we first arrived, the security profiled my friend saying he was “gang affiliated” which was complete discrimination.

The staff is absolutely amazing. However the vibes theyre going for are confusing. Its got all the works for a nightclub but no obvious dance floor. Theres pool tables and arcade games but I dont know if you can play them since nobody was. The bar was insanely busy, it seemed understaffed, and there were spilled drinks everywhere.

Fun place, great for dancing, mostly pop and hip-hop. Prepare to be triple-IDd, regardless of your age. Very nicely offer free water bar during dancing. Some of the bouncers are a little hostile, rest of the staff is polite.

I am so happy that the hip hop area was switched to the bigger floor. There was way too many people in that small area. In addition, the bartender the one that dances thru making the drinks is AMAAAZING! I also love Colin, he makes the best drinks ever. 10 out of a 10. I always have the best night out at the Beach.

Would give less stars than one if possible. I was simply resting my chin on my hands and I was asked to leave by the bouncers. Most people were dancing and I was not. It was very awkward and uncomfortable when they asked me to leave, they wouldnt listen to me and I was sober. I would not recommend this bar.

I loved this place but then apparently they changed the price of refills on the unlimited slushees by a lot more... then charged us with out telling us. And still made us pay even though the bartender realized she forgot to tell us. It was very in convenient since I only brought enough for that since I didn’t expect to buy anything else.

This place is super fun and very loud with music. Two bartenders and alcoholic slushy’s what more can you want. They have very fast service but there’s always a lot of people that go there around 1 AM. Have your IDs ready because their security at the front door and if you act up they will kick you out.

The remodel of this place is great! Much more clean than before - hopefully it stays that way. I wish they had some more interactive activities besides pool, and 3 arcade games. Its a good spot to hang out and grab some drinks with friends!

Quite simply not my scene. Im going to bump up the score just a bit for them being creative and making a way for people to smoke within the bar, mainly by having a pseudo outfit area. Expensive drinks and typical club music everywhere, but if thats your thing, go for it. I wouldnt go back, myself, even though the staff is generally pretty good people.

I just moved to California and the djs helped me forget about being home sick. Thank you gentlemen. Atmosphere was great.Security should let less people in 1 area to avoid elbows getting thrown. Im a bar securtiy specialist. Did it for many years. They happen but the security handled it.Good job guys!

The beach is part of Panamas and has more of a dance club vibe. I had a slushy which was lots of sugar and booze. Good music. Mostly older stuff from early 2k

Their ID scaning system is terrible. You have to have a state ID only and if you own a passport card with a bar code you still cant be let in even though you are over 21. They need to change that system or allow passport card.

Good place to come and dance! Love the different areas and music to go dance!

Cheap drinks and no professional Dj’s or shows. They just love to take drunk white college kids’ money & not look back. Simple really…

Chicos closest thing to an actual club. Bring several friends, have some drinks. Great place to take the ladies for some dancing. Slushie drinks are horribly cheap, or cheap and horrible, either way.

$15 to drink endless 7-Eleven style slushies with alcohol? Dance music and cool lighting? I dont see how you can go wrong

Ive been here 50+ times and never realized they had a VIP area... Definitely not a location youd expect to be sober at.

This place is trash and everyone knows it. You will only cach grenades and ugly people here.

Excellent ventilation for the dance floor area. Drinks are reasonably priced, and there is a wide range of selection.

Dirty establishment horrible kitchen. Bad service. Will never return. This review is from 2 years ago when it was at a different location. I remember clearly it was very gross.Did you guys change locations?

Great club if you want to take your girl out to dance, great drinks, normally good music, just depends which dj it is.

Oooh where do I start... theres so many good memories here. Staff here has been awesome I always feel safe here.

They have a ID scanning system that cant scan anything except for state IDs. No military IDs, no passport. Very inconvenient.

Depending on the DJ playing that night this place is a good place to dance and drink!

Great atmosphere, multiple bars, two dancing floors, one in one outside.
