Ella was wonderful! Ive had 3 back surgeries, last one in 2008 so my fusion is aging. Im dealing with numbness, shooting pain down my leg. After Ellas magic touch and knowledge of the muscular system the shooting pain is gone, the numbness is even better. Hopefully it lasts for a while. Atmosphere is relaxing. I will definitely be back! Tonight was my 4th visit here with my Wife. I always ask for a deep tissue. I am an athlete, and my needs are always exceeded. My Wife has never left unsatisfied. She is 8 Months pregnant, and she was still able to get a safe and comfortable Swedish massage. Love this place. Always clean, comfortable, and affordable. 5 stars.

This is my second time going. Both times I got the 90 minute Deep Tissue & Foot Massage. The music is relaxing, they had an adorable kitten when I went in, and my body popped soooo many times! I came in stressed as heck from work and left feeling sooooo much better. I will be back!

I had Annie as my masseuse. She was absolutely amazing. I dont get massages often because I usually dont get a great one. This was completely different then all the places Ive gone to before. This woman has a healing touch, and you can tell she cares and puts in genuine effort. She is strong and really got into all my pain and sore spots. My shoulders and right arm feel so much better. Dan was great. I was afraid it would hurt honestly. Haven’t had a massage in years. It made me feel a lot better. I highly recommend you go see Dan. Stress in my neck and shoulders was so tight I felt like my earlobes could easily touch my shoulders. I left after 1 appointment with less pain, improved posture and a little pep in my step. Best massage I’ve gotten in a while! My back had a kink in it after the gym and couldn’t move my head at all to the side. They got me in pretty quick and Amanda has God sent hands for real. Will definitely be going back regularly

As part of my self-care routine, I usually get a massage. Today, I couldnt visit my regular location and decided to try Good Hands Massage. I requested a 90-minute session with 30 minutes for a foot massage and 60 minutes for a Swedish massage. Unfortunately, Im not sure if the masseuse was actually certified. Throughout the massage, she mostly pressed her elbow into my back. I had to ask her to stop because she kept her elbow near my spine for a long time without any actual massage. Afterward, she hastily applied oil and just rubbed it in. I asked her to stop and paid for the time she had spent. She charged me for 30 minutes, even though she only sat with her elbow on my back for 10-15minutes.

Its a yes from me! Its not just a massage, they genuinely care about your wellbeing and how your body feels. Really nice people. Cupping service is great to add-on too.

As a Birthday gift, I received a gift certificate to Good Hands. I had a Deep Tissue Massage with Annie. Annie is friendly and has strong hands. The massage was Awesome! I will be booking again in the near future. It was also a pleasure to meet Scooty 🐕 as I was leaving 🥰

Great 1st experience 👏! Lily listened to my concerns and provided a lovely massage. Deep tissue, some back walking to loosen up some of my very tight back muscles and finished with hot stones. I cant wait to come back again.

Amanda did such a great job. She targeted my knots and paid more attention to areas where I had more tightness. They also offer to use hot stones during the massage. I tried it and it was a great experience. Ill definitely be going back again.

I got a deep tissue massage. Following I had a bruise on my spine and the same vertebrae was sticking out further than the rest. I will never go back.

Update November 8, 2022:After my last review, I received a phone call from the husband owner and he invited me to make an appointment with his wife for free massage. I saw the wife this evening and it was an amazing massage. She apologized profusely for the other therapist and stated that she trains all of her employees. After receiving the massage wife owner, I understand that the other therapist was trying, but she may have had a bad day. The owners really appreciate their customers and really want to work with them. I think I found my home massage location.Update November 5, 2022:Today I went again and saw a different therapist which was no the best.A month or so before:I made an appointment for a Swedish, but I think they thought that I wanted a deep tissue which I did inquire about. I went in and got this amazing woman Mia, who gave me a deep tissue massage, which I really needed because I was having a spasm in my back. I’ve been getting massages for over 30 years and I say this is the best one I’ve had. I’m Mia’s new client. See you next month!

I would absolutely recommend this place! Staff were very friendly and courteous!I work out very regularly, and because of that I have a lot of muscle tension. I scheduled a deep tissue massage and I definitely feel so much less sore and have more energy, having come here.At all times, the masseuse was asking if anything was too harsh, and was asking where the tension was worst. They put particular focus on the more tense parts of my body as a result.Overall, Good Hands Massage delivers friendly, quality service and I would recommend them to anyone looking to loosen tight muscles, or to just enjoy a relaxing time!

Excellent massage at an affordable price. The facilities are neat and clean. When you say you want deep tissue, they mean business. I am built like a tank and they were not intimidated. They worked muscles that I didnt even know were tight but it was well worth the time. Be sure to try the hot stone treatment, it is included with the price and it is exhilarating. This place is legit and there is no sense of shadiness going on. I will definitely be back regularly.

The amazing husband and wife duo listened to my aliments and swiftly went to work targeting my problem areas. I have had constant shoulder blade and hip pains for over a year’s time, but this information did not intimidate these two. They accessed my pain levels, range of motion, cared for my affected sides by adding an additional support when needed, and provided sound advisement of activities to assist with correcting this long term issue. I had the best couples massage today with Dan and Annie. My shoulder was aching and now I feel so much more comfortable! I wish I could afford a weekly massage but will try to do a massage twice a month here! I will tell my friends about this fabulous place!

The team went above and beyond today. I planned a scavenger hunt for my fiancé where I scheduled an hour long deep tissue massage for him. I needed the staff to hand him an envelope after the massage to tell him where he was headed next and they completely came through and delivered. Very professional place. This was my first ever deep tissue massage but as Dan called it,“More of a dweedish massage” 🤭 the shop is ran by a husband and wife who were both great! They make you feel very welcomed and the massage was AMAZING!! Dan put a lot of attention where I’m having trouble the most (my neck and shoulders ) and he gave me good insight on where some of my issues are stemming from and things I could do at home to possibly help ease the pain .I think it’s nice when someone gives you some helpful knowledge that comes from there profession.10/10 highly recommend!!

Reasonably priced for the quality of massage/experience you get… I was asked what I’m comfortable with throughout the whole process. 30 years old and Ive never had a massage before! The past couple months stress has overwhelmed my life so finally I scheduled a massage here at Good Hands Massage. First Pro: I loved that they had availability the next day.When I arrived I was pretty nervous, but they warmly greeted me and took me back to my room. Once I was dressed down Annie came in and introduced herself. Originally I had asked for a Swedish massage but once Annie felt how tight my muscles were she recommended the deep tissue.Oh my goodness she was amazing. Shes so intuitive to the stressed muscles. Its easy to understand why she has so many amazing reviews. Shes an EXPERT ... so good I added 30 minutes to my massage!

Amazing! I have got a couple massages there and had a different masseuse each time. I tend to get deep tissue and wow have they helped with my aches and pains! Unfortunately I have not got the names of each masseuse, but in particular there were two amazing massages by Mia and Lily. I highly recommend getting a deep tissue massage from this place and in particular those amazing masseuses.I just got another deep tissue massage today for my birthday. I believe my masseuse name was Annie, she was amazing! Highly recommend great massages for a great price!

I booked my appointment online, it was very easy. I chose the 60min Swedish massage. When I arrived I was greeted by everyone and immediately taken to my room. My massage was done by Annie, she did a great job! She talked me into getting the 90min Swedish massage and added hot stones for free. It was very relaxing, affordable and it was a great experience. I highly recommend Good Hands Massage. I will definitely be going back.

It was a good experience overall. They got me in right away and the massage helped my back and shoulder feel so much better. I was pain free for almost 3 days which is unheard of due to chronic injury and pain Ive been battling for years. It was more expensive than what in was quoted on the phone but still within the normal going rate.

Annie is a strong and competent master. I have done Thai massage for the last 5-7 years every week. Its rare when you can get an intense massage, and Annie is great at that. She’s at the top of my list 💪

This is my favorite place to get a massage! They are very professional, and very skilled at massage. I always ask for Lili, because she’s amazing and also just a great person ☺️ My muscles are always so much better the next day, and no bruising. All in all, the perfect, professional massage! 💯

Came in for a couples massage, they honored the Groupon price for us when we arrived we were greeted and placed into the room. I was pretty comfortable as heating pads were provided and you can add on hot stone without an additional cost. This is normally a $15 add on at most massage places. The ladies were nice and I would come back and see Mai in the future. Hope to be back soon. The only thing I would ask for in the future is to not focus so much on my back but also my arms and legs which is all personal preference so I will share next visit maybe need to go for 90 min instead.

Although the massage was good it was quickly ruined by the woman yelling No tip! While slamming her hand on the counter. Ive never in my life had someone demand a tip. Tipping is optional. I used a group on for the service but no need to buy one since the price was the regular price anyways. I was so relaxed that all I could think about was going to sleep and a tip wasnt on my mind. I was considering returning on a regular basis but after this experience I will never return. Its so disappointing when you think you finally found a new massage place but quickly ruined by lack of good customer service.

Wonderful location in Citrus Heights. Very clean and welcoming. My masseuse, Mia, was excellent. She checks the pressure regularly and has wonderful technique. The owners are very friendly and care about creating a good work environment for their employees and their customers. I have been twice already and plan to return again soon.

My 1st massage in over 10 years, and they really worked on all my pains muscles.. I felt so light, limber.. The owners are wonderful people. My massage therapist was one of the owners ( wife). Like I said amazing, she listened. My husband massage therapist sorry cant remember her name. My husband said she did great also and was able to get out his knots.. I just went here today for my first time. My first time ever getting a professional massage. Lily was friendly, nice, and accommodating. The business was clean and the sheets smelled good. I hurt my neck last week and have not been able to move it since. She was very gentle but firm enough to alleviate some of my neck pain. Definitely will be back to see her again and thinking of bringing my husband with me!

She was able to get rid of some very tense muscles without me wincing, I think I may have even snored unintentionally lol. She was very nice and considerate as well. The atmosphere is just welcoming and relaxing. The prices are great and WELL WORTH a visit! The owners are husband and wife and they are the nicest and most polite couple! Ill start off by saying as soon as you walk in you a greeted with the biggest smile, soothing music and very home-like feeling of the inside of the shop. I was then taken to a room were I was able to get undressed to my comfort level. I let them know that I was in a bad car accident a few months back, and had lost some flexibility in my right shoulder area. With this information she paid a lot of attention to where my pain was. The entire time she made sure that I was comfortable and if she was applying too much or little pressure. I was extremely tense, she was able to get all the knots out of my back and shoulders. I mean I the end I was able to pop my back FINALLY! I walked out with a hug and smile. If you are In need of a Massage i recommend you come To Good Hands because it was just awesome!!

I didnt have any major body aches or pains other then some irritating calve pain. Figured I would stop in the closet place to my office on lunch and get a massage. I wasnt really expecting much but let me tell you what...WOW. That was the most relaxing massage Ive ever had. I honestly thought it would be a one time spur of the moment kind of thing but Sunny changed my mind with her skill. Excellent experience; we had purchased the couples massage and were welcomed by name when we arrived and taken right back to a nice room. The massage was great; very thorough and both masseuses were very communicative, making sure nothing was uncomfortable for us throughout the massage.The location is not super fancy or anything, but everything is clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and funny, joking with us, and the couple who own/operate the shop are quite nice!

My masseuse was very nice, recognized I had a bunch of knots in my back and offered me a free deep tissue massage. My wife loved her masseuse and Swedish massage as well. We both will be returning. Felt great while I was getting the massage but not at all after. I have spinal issues and needed to lay on a heating pad after I got off of work for nearly two weeks. Also, I have spinal issues and needed to get chiropractic adjustments nearly every day to try to correct the issue. All of the staff are very kind, I feel like its more my own back problems rather than the masseuse. My only complaint about the masseuse is that I asked her to not massage my neck and she did anyway. If you dont have any spinal issues I would definitely recommend, if you do I would be wary.

Massage was just okay but being chased down in the lobby because they wanted a bigger tip was not acceptable by any means. Will not recommend or return. Dan, no need to request a call from me as you were standing right there and bore witness to the entire thing. Not a way to do business when services were already paid for! A tip is and always should at the discretion and satisfaction of the client. Two employees were standing at the exit of the building upset over the tip left and demanding more money. I honestly didnt have any more cash on me. I paid using my credit card to add additional tip in order to put the harassment and awkwardness to end. After reading other reviews Im glad I did. Not surprised one bit that this isnt the first time this has happened. At least I wasnt chased out to the parking lot.

I wanted to share my experience.First off I love these guys here. So very welcoming and they treat you like you matter, ask about my family and my life. It’s sorta like a second family here for me. I go to them to help me destress from my chaotic life.When I first went in, Oct. of 2021, I had a very bad back pain that I’ve had issues with for years. Off and on it would come and go. But I tried this place and they have the options of walking on the back :) my goodness what a game changer. I haven’t had any back issues since!! I’m truly blessed to have found this place.Each massage therapist I’ve had, has always been great. Always asked me if the pressure is ok and check in with me during the massage. I like that.Of course I always tip at least $20!! It’s only respectful to tip these wonderful people.

I had a massage here yesterday evening, with Sunny. Today I was able to resume my stretches and exercise routine, and get some housework done; I havent been able to do these for days because of intense lower back pain and muscle spasms when I bent over. Im extremely grateful to her for making it possible to get my life back on track. 100% would recommend.

Disappointed won’t be returning. $40 extra for “hot stones” that aren’t even hot. + mandatory 20% tip +$3 charge to use your card… it’s just getting ridiculous, there are many other better options for much cheaper.

Amanda does a fabulous deep tissue and hot stone massage. She worked extra hard on the areas of tension in my back. I really think it may have been the best massage Ive ever had! I booked another appointment for next week.

This was one of the weirdest encounters I’ve ever had. I’ll start off by saying that I was extremely taken aback by the fact and I wasn’t asked if I wanted a male or a female, therefore I undressed to my comfort for the person who roomed me. I’m face down and I hear a man come in - I hadn’t seen this man but without saying anything he starts massaging me, and I would not say he is a licensed massage therapist as listen on their website. There was no communication whatsoever still to this point.Service ends and I am on my way out, this was a gift therefore everything was already paid. A tip is demanded from me , for which I came totally unprepared for as the service was a last minute gift. I didn’t have sufficient cash to their request (for the tip) therefore they suggested the ATM in the front area. The card declines and they now suggest swiping their card on their payment machine (still for the TIP) the card still doesn’t go through and at this point the amount of pushiness leads me to just want to leave. I offer the only cash I have in my purse, and I was laughed at. I walk out get into my truck - and I WAS FOLLOWED OUT!!!! OUT TO THE PARKING LOT WHILE STILL DEMANDING A TIP - this killed the whole experience for me, for a mediocre service.

Really disappointed with my massage. Wish I just spent the extra money and go somewhere else. They left the room about 7 or 8 times to go answer the front door. I had to ask her 3 times to go a little softer and I asked very nicely and she would start laughing hysterically. They were chatting with each other, taking phone calls. She started asking me about a kid that I never told her I had, made me feel a little uncomfortable about my mom bod. She said my husband was drunk and started laughing.. we tried to giggle and play it off but it was weird because he wasnt. Ive never been to a worse massage. Shes married to the owner apparently.. I dont know. Seems like more go on here. Would not recommend.

Friendly and professional. They were considerate of our comfort levels and very mindful. Overall the experience was relaxing and enjoyable. My husband and I will definitely be back!

I don’t often get massages and wasn’t sure if the pain I was experiencing was normal for a deep tissue massage but when I left with upper and lower SPINE bruising and pain I knew something was wrong. The next day I had to take pain medication as my upper and lower spine hurt too much for me to bend over. The masseuse had put his body weight on his elbows on my spine and when I left two staff were waiting at the door requesting 20% tip before I leave. I don’t think this place is safe to go to.

Amanda took great care of me with her firm massage. Similar to what I have experienced in Thai and Shiatsu. I am a Massage Therapist and need good work done so I can keep working also. Thank you Amanda. Found you guys through the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce website.

The place is amazing and Amanda is the best. If you really need a good deep tissue massage she is THE BEST! Ive gone to plenty of places for deep tissue but none were as deep and/or better then Amandas.Ill be going back for as long as I can!🥰

This place is so good. I just went there for the first time today and I accidentally left my wedding rings and necklace and realized it a couple hours later and called and they put it away for me! Not to mention the massage was so relaxing! I would definitely recommend this place to all. Great prices!

Deep tissue was nice but was less than half the time .. the other half was stretching and thats not what I was paying for. Really awkward. Oh and she answered a call during the massage?never had that happen before. And the most awkward and very off-putting part was the gaint poster board sized signs (yes multiple) thats said they expect NO LESS THAN 20 PERCENT. I normally tip 10 to 15 anyways but putting no less than 20 percent and then not giving the service asked was off-putting. Also at the end I was asked mutiple times by the lady and someone random asking if I tipped and if it was enough?! Like what? Who does that! It was already 80 dollar for half our of stretching and half hour of deep tissue wayyyy over priced and then to be harassed at the end after trying to be relaxed killed the vibe. Def. Never coming back.

I wanted something very deep in my massage, and I got it! It was wonderful. She checked in periodically to make sure it wasnt too hard, and that the temp in the room was ok, etc. I will spread the word of this location and for sure be back!!

Worse massage ever. When in to help with back pain that started 2 months ago. When I went to get off the table could Barely move. Needed up going to the the ER…. Never will I come back again or Recommend this place.
