OYO Hotel Cleveland, TN

Room was very dusty, lots of cockroaches. No bedbugs but didnt sleep much. Room had drugs (white crystal-like dust and residue) all over kitchenette cabinet. ( Half a straw, Razor blade and aluminum foil burned black, broken bic lighter)Staff was friendly

Ordered a king sized bed online on booking app when we got there they had a double room for us minus a remote for TV. also cockroaches and bedbugs everywhere. Asked for refund they denied me as well staff isnt so helpful at all

This place offered the single worst hotel room I have ever seen in East Tennessee. As it was best in class, I gave it an extra star!

All I can say is the service at this location was spectacular the rooms were nice and clean and comfortable and I would stay there again anytime yall were all great

The owner treats people bad . Will talk to you like your garbage. And they will go behind you back liying just to get their way, even liying to the law .

Worst hotel , steal your money ,managers threaten you and try to fight you , good luck if you stay don’t book online or they will steal your money and you won’t get a room or a refund

Would give 0 if possible. Run. Far away. Sleep in a truck. Completely infested with bed bugs and roaches, not just like one or two... they are INFESTED. The first thing I saw upon entering this room was a bed bug on the pillow. Called for a refund, they tried to deny it and tell me to prove it. Good call yall, because I ran out of there as fast as I could. No way was I staying long enough to take photos. Complete scam of a hotel. However, the front receptionist was very sweet.

DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL!!!!!!!! We stayed there a few nights ago, and were awaken by bed bugs biting on us. And when I told the front desk woman for a refund she only gave my deposit back then had the nerve to charge me 115 a night plus deposit for a room with bed bugs!!! She sent the, I guess maintenance man up there like this is the first time hearing about this. And when he came up he and I seen the bed bugs CLEARLY walking across the bed!!! And what made it even worse is that he tried to hurry up and kill it before I seen it!!! Nope buddy I have pictures of them already!! This place deserves -10 stars

This place is disgusting and unsanitary ‼️ After arriving I couldnt get anyone to the desk so I could check in here. Then I was charged an $50 for I have no idea what for and I had to give it as cash. Then when we got to the room the ROACHES greeted us, I have no idea how many I killed‼️ Then two or three days later the BED BUGS greeted us and left bite marks all over our bodies‼️I alerted management and he came up to the room and acted like there wasnt anything wrong. There is a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom where water leaks from the room above.Do not go to this place, it was the most traumatic experience I have ever had and will never be again ‼️

Well I didn’t find any bedbugs like everyone in the reviews say but omg are the roaches bad. If I had another option I wouldn’t be here right now but like the other people I’ve met here were kinda in a tight situation. I was in the bed for a few hours and when I decided to get up the floor had baby roaches everywhere. I found them folded into the corners at the bottom of the bed. From what the others have told me it was worse than this until pest control came. If it’s bad now I can’t imagine what it was before. I’m stuck here sadly until I hear back from the apartment complex I’m trying to move into. Sheets also have stains, gave my dogs that bed :( The fridge door fell on my foot when I opened it. The maintenance man had to break into our room bc the keycard reader on the door is broken. So I can’t leave without getting locked out. Luckily my bf can leave to get things and go to work while I just let him back in.

Front desk woman bullied me in to paying 10$ extra and reason was :you got room too cheap. She gave me a choice of paying 10 or 20 extra. That was nice of her. Room had no towels and no soap. Yes there is shower but no stuff you take shower with. I feel used and abused. Classic evil place where you get bullied for money because your room is too cheap.

I stayed two nights and when I got there I was told they required a $50/night cash deposit. They said it was on their website. I checked and it was not. Nor was it listed anywhere in any of the emails or on the third party site that I booked through. But, rather than lose the money I’d already paid, I stayed. The room was spacious and clean. I asked for a late checkout and was told it would be $20/hr. No thanks. When I went to check out, they told me I needed to wait 30 minutes for them to check the room so I could get my deposit back. Fortunately I wasn’t in a hurry. The people who run it are nice and friendly but all the little things like the cash deposit and making me wait to check out are just bad business. I will not stay there again.

Such a nice lady.Liz helped me locate the hotel, which is the Lincoln Hotel.She gave me the best room.Gave me a set of her own towels.Changed the bedsheets.To the owner, Liz is exceptional, and should be well compensated for her kindness, knowledge, and professionalism.And likewise for her amazing husband.

Bed bugs infestation.Bed bugs were observed within the first 15 minutes after walking into the room. When manger t was notified, they apologized and said they would move me to a different room. They shortly thereafter receded that offer. My assumption is they could not find a room without bug issues. They then refused to refund any of the two nights I had paid to stay there.Save your money and buy a tent if you have to, but save yourself some trouble and look elsewhere for lodging. .

This place is a zero star first of all I went in around like 1 something after court then I get in there wait until 2 for my man to call me and I been crying so after we get off the phone I fall asleep then I wake up and I felt like bugs was bitten me and I look and there bed bugs!!! And I call and tell and see if I could get half of my money back and he wouldn’t give me nothing and I only been there 6 hrs bc when I seen the bugs I left and just slept in my car so I wasted 102 dollars on nothing he wouldn’t give me no deposit or half of what I paid back he was so mad and yelling at me then says he is going to call the cops then turns off the lights😂

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! Yes, I know you get what you pay for.. but seriously the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, even when we requested a non smoking room.. the bed linens were flat out GROSS! Pillows were a dingy yellow color, pet hair on the sheets along with stains from only god know what.. and to top it all off, the lady at the desk couldcare less.. I was even nice enough to ask for clean linens and was told they only had two rooms.. ? I’m sorry I asked for CLEAN SHEETS and you tell me you only have two rooms.. we changed rooms.. and SURPRISE the second room was just as bad as the first one.. We ended up leaving...

The people in the lobby were polite, the hotel was quiet and the rooms appeared clean, but the hotel does have bed bugs as other reviews have said. It also isnt an OYO according to the sign out front.

This is an absolute sham of a hotel! Read the reviews and TRUST them.My BF and I were traveling through and booked online with an app. We should have known when no outside pictures were shown.The sineage to locate is awful. The parking lot must double for the city tow lot. Very dim lighting and not inviting. We didnt feel safe approaching the hotel as we arrived after 10pm.Before deciding the next steps we went online to read reviews. Cockroaches, bed bugs, dirty, nobody at checkin, etc. Nothing in the reviews gave us any additional confidence. We looked in the windows of the lobby from the car and saw nobody.So we then called the distributor and explained who called the hotel and we were advised to book elsewhere and the next day to call to get charges reversed.We booked another hotel that was in a safe area, name brand, and with better reviews.When I called the next day the manager said, too badWell thats a mistake I will never make again!Please read the reviews! They arent laying. The hotel owner knows the true story about the property and they dont want to have anything to do but take money for less than adequate accommodations.

It was dirty, the towels were stained or dirty, the blankets on bed were stained or dirty, curtains stained and headboards were dusty and there were bugs. I will never stay here again. my friends room one blanket looked like it had a huge blood stain on the blankets. It smelled like cigarette smoke. No service came to the room; however, checking in and out the staff seemed nice. However the place was not nice! Had it not already been paid for by my friend and not sure where else we could go we would have left.

Do not book here!!!! The OYO no longer exists. We stayed there a couple of years ago and it was above average for a cheap hotel. We were in town again and booked it through the Oyo website. Get to the hotel and it is now the Lincoln Inn a monthly flop house. Guy at window told me they are no longer affiliated with Oyo.

I am currently still in my room due to nowhere else to go at 1am. There is bed bugs like crazy, roaches everywhere including the roof, stained curtains from cigarette smoke, the windows and mirrors are disgusting, the fridge has dead roaches and stuff spilt all in it, microwave dont work, and last but not least there is absolutely NO smoke detector in our room which is a fire hazard and against first codes!!! This place is the absolute worst hotel Ive ever stay at they deserve to be shut down. We would rather sleep in our vehicles!

Well i stayed 2 nights here and couldnt get comfortable because of the bug problem they have especially when you turn off the lights they come out everywhere. Disgusting it reslly is. On top of that they wsnt a 50 dollar deposit, the bed covers stink, the cable sucks the stairs and entry are very difficult the doors doesnt lock well, people outside all night and at motel beside them doing drug deals and reslly drunk messed up people walking the parking lot all night.

There is no Oyo Hotel, it is a scam. When I arrived at the address online, there was a dirty, run down Lincoln Inn and an abandoned Chateau hotel behind it sharing a parking lot with a faded Rodeway. The lobby had no one in in it and the night window was not lit up. People (? Unhoused people? Just let them sleep in the hotel rooms and use the showers, then) were lounging in the 80F evening heat on the upper stairs on mattresses. This is a ghost hotel! When Expedia called three different numbers on file for the Oyo trying to find out what was going on with deceptive marketing, no one ever answered the phone, so Expedia gave me my money back. Do not believe the photos!!! Do not book directly through Oyo! I had to drive another hour to find a hotel with a minifridge under $100. You could not pay me money to stay somewhere that would rather let unhoused people languish in the heat than unlock a couple unused and CLEARLY abandoned hotel rooms. There is no remodeling of the Lincoln. It is visibly dirty, clearly closed, and DEEPLY sketchy. Please dont book here.

Room are bigger then I expected... An the room was clean

This place is pathetic. Two separate times they refused to give me my full security deposit refund. The first time they told me that I had taken the bathmat (there never was a bathmat) But that wasnt a deal breaker for me until today. When I walked down to check out (Check out was at 11) it was 20 min till 11. I waited on the woman for just a moment or two. No biggie there but she took 15 or so min up in my room checking it out. When she came down she told me that I would be charged an additional 20 dollars for checking out late... This is honestly not the place to go. I recommend going to another hotel or Walmart to sleep in your car if you can help it. Stay away from these thieves

I woke up to a roach crawling on my face! Then I ran to the bathroom area with my glasses on and saw another big one and baby roaches crawling on the floor.No refund ,no trying to make things right for this horrid experience, and I’m still cringing at the idea that they could have gotten into my clothing or luggage.Besides that it was hard to fall asleep in the first place because I saw someone looking in between the curtains into my room at around 2am.Never again never ever will I even dream of coming here

WORST hotel experience Ive EVER had and Ive stayed at cheaper hotels that were way nicer and better service. When I tried to check out they wouldnt come to the front desk to give me my deposit and disconnected the phone so I couldnt get ahold of them. Cockroaches all over my room! If you ask me I think this location should be closed for good I will never stay at another OYO ever again. Customer service all around sucked

Horrible, BED BUGS and roaches in hotel room. When I tried to leave at 3:30 in the morning there was not a rep at the front desk. Left and came back to inform the staff and was told it was my fault for not waiting on an associate. Pictures and video of bed bug bites, roaches, my attempt to check out. Only willing to refund half of money. Contacting the health department.

Very rude. Did not want to accept my reservation from Booking.com. They did not want to even look at my reservation. After I called booking.com they did find my reservation. They they said they want cash not credit card. Again after intense discussion they accepted my Visa card for the room charges. They require a $20.00 deposit and will not accept a credit card for the deposit. My objections about this place is they have zero customer service and if you have to pay a deposit in cash their website should say so. You would be better treated at just about any other place.

Only 1 towel, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. Cable supposedly. The same movie was on like 10 channels. They took 5 dollars of the 10 dollar deposit because the back of the remote was missing. It was like that when we arrived. The lady said we should have told them when we noticed. I wasnt going to go down there and be an a hole over something as trivial as a missing remote back. We did sleep good. There were no bugs or anything like that. We tried a few times to get extra towels in the morning but nobody was in the office. So as we were getting ready to leave, the lady calls to tell us we will be charged if we arent out by 11. We give her the keys and she checks the room. Apparently, she was upset that we had trash next to the trashcan. We just didnt have anymore room. We had trash from the restaurants that we had eaten from the night before. There were 5 of us. So we put it in a bag next to the can. I meeeaaan... Im not taking it anywhere else.

The room was nasty, we had a cup of some some else’s urine behind our toilet, they made us pay for toilet paper, they only allow 2 per week apparently, then we only got 1 room key and we locked it in the room and had to pay $1 for a replacement, the lady was rude about it, they also wouldn’t give us clean towels or trash bags. The most horrible experience we have ever had staying in motels and we travel a lot for work. Disappointed to say the least. I wouldn’t even give it one star if I had a choice.

This place is a joke we told customer service where we were headed and they still booked the wrong room in the wrong state. So we cancelled that reservation after paying for it and was told it would take 7 to 10 days to get our money back. If your a truck driver or anyone of that nature dont book at any oyo they are horrible and wont make it right either.

This review is mostly for short stay travelers who are choosing this motel for price. Do yourself a favor and sleep with peace of mind by spending the extra $15-30 at another motel. You can stay at the Douglas Inn for around $15 more a night which includes great rooms and complimentary breakfast. I stayed here for a night, because my motel was full for the final night needed in Cleveland.I was placed in a non smoking room, but when I walked into the room it was like a giant ash tray with yellow smoke stained walls. It was very difficult to breathe in the room with this smell. Also, in the place where there should be a outlet cover it was just open wire. I have heard that the location of this hotel is known for prostitution and even the location itself was sketchy and dark.

I usually dont review but I read other reviews and wanted you all to run away as fast as you can. They charged for a missing remote back and a dirty towel they gave me. I was going to make it my weekly stop but I wasnt born last night.

Asked for a non smoking room but the room was a smoking room with a very strong smell. Bedding was stained and didn’t look clean. Staff wasn’t too friendly. Will not be staying here again.

Because they make you do a cash deposit I bet you dont get back till you go down turn your key in and then they go up inspect the room and then come back down and give you your money back so if theres a chance you might have to leave in a hurry you definitely do not want to stay here

Mrs liz and mr Bobby has made our stay last few months feel like family they are wonderful people and run everything great make sure we felt as its home help with anything and everything thats needed i would highly recommend staying here as them in front office and keeper thank you both for treating us as family and not just another renter

Place was clean room was nice did not like getting 3 phone calls about smoking in room. Let for a couple hours and room was not made up when I got back. Hole strip of road under construction.

It has false advertising because the room was dirty it didnt have a pool or a coffee pot they only gave us one towel and one washcloth for 6 people it was very uncomfortable for us the promised cots for my 2 children when we got there they said they didnt have any my boys had to sleep on the floor its a horrible place to stay so when u see that they have great prices just pay a little extra to stay someplace else I wish I had and next time Im in Tennessee I will definitely be staying somewhere else!!!!!

I were eating by bed bugs. It was absolutely the worst place Ive ever stayed at. On top of the bed bugs they had roaches as well.

Charged my card TWICE, had to escalate the charges claim, still had to pay bank fo correct their attempt to steal, Stay away from this roach infested place.

If I could you would get a negative 5 we got to the hotel and was told no rooms was opened asked about the money we paid was told to call the booking line when we done that they would answer and when told what happened hang up on us for over 3 hours would not recommend at all

Worst stay ever! Cockroaches, bed bugs, blood stained mattress! 2 nights never stayed refused refund even with OYO escalations department given proof and verifying that the hotel was at fault. As a heads up its been 2 weeks still no refund!

The rooms were nasty had to clean ourselves went to get my deposit back that was $50 and they only gave $25 back the people at the front desk are very rude they dont clean they are roach infested the people at the front desk will do and say anything for extra money there criminals like the people that stay there

This is the most horrible place Ive ever stayed the owner is rude and very unfriendly and she talks to her customers like trash I have a service dog with proof of registration in my Gmail and it shows everything you need to know and she wont take it and told me to either pay 70 dollars a week on top of 315 a week or check out anybody with some common sense dont go to the oyo they will try to walk all over you

Its an ok place. Big rooms. Heater doesnt work to well an you dont get but like 10 channels on cable.

Nice big room; 2 queen beds, fridge, microwave, extra towels; friendly staff and clean plus it was quiet!!!

This place stinks literally and the wifi is slow service is horrible I stayed for 2 weeks not once they cleaned my room as I asked dont go here its dirty the light was falling from ceiling I asked for different room he said not its ok it wont bother you like really dont go period

Horrible ... Mold in the bathtub black soap scum on the soap rack and the floor outside the bathroom for about a foot was soaked because the toilet leaked also I was given one cup for water and it wasnt even sanitary wrapped it is a waste of money to stay at this hotel

Place is a crack den. I do not scare easily and just picking up a friend from the place my adrenaline was pumping. Do not reccomend.
