This place is a mess! Tipped the bartenders good all night was respectful of this place, and some little girls come to the bathroom to jump my friend for absolutely no reason yet we get kicked out, mind you we were there for hours before with no issues.... keep the kids around that get free drinks from security i guess :) also super disrespectful the girls yelling at us in the bathroom (who were white) kept yelling racial slurs and the staff didnt seem to even bat an eye.

We loved Miks, it has a small town feel, but diverse and friendly, and has an awesome dance floor. Our bartender was Delaney and we couldnt have asked for a better one. She was soo patient, considering there was 5 of us, all deciding on the spot what to order and wanting different drinks plus shots. She made great suggestions and was accommodating and very friendly. We loved our experience at this establishment

Typically I enjoy coming here, but after being shoved and screamed at by security for kicking out a different individual, I’m not so sure anymore. I get y’all deal with stupid drunk idiots constantly, but that doesn’t mean you have to manhandle the ones who are being fine and trying to enjoy the night. I was hoping to find a sense of comfort as a young woman wanting to have fun on a night out with her friend, but nooottttt anymore.

I’m not sure how to rate this but I usually love going to Miks but someone has got to get a new DJ in there. The music was outdated and NOT in a good way; and his mixes were just really unfortunate and you could feel the lifeless energy of the crowd. I was really disappointed especially it being st paddy’s day weekend. Overall love Miks but the dj has GOT TO GO.

I will amend this and try a different day. I went on a Wednesday night around 9:00 and there was absolutely nobody there besides the bartender. she said that karaoke was permanently canceled due to a low draw. She said the weekends are way different. I was just basically on a recon mission to check out the vibe.

I went to Mik’s for the first time on NYE and had the best time! Such a fun atmosphere where I felt like I could be myself and not worry about anyone else judging me, BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS HAVING A BLAST! Athena was also very efficient with her service! She’d come grab our empty glasses and ask if we wanted more and would be back within 5 minutes!! Very attentive and efficient. Best experience!!

This is by far the best club/nightlife spot in Coeur d’Alene! There are awesome vibes here. You can shoot pool and chill in the back, or go have a great time on the dance floor. Bartenders are on point and floor service is great too.All the DJ’s here spin amazing music and play a variety of house music, hip hop, and top 40 that keeps a great vibe going all night. Also 10/10 management and top security. Super friendly to locals and out-of-towners!

It’s always great coming to this bar! Delaney puts a little fun into making her drinks! Heads always on a swivel to insure customers safety!

Dilamey did such a good job on getting drink made in a timely fashion. She also did some cool things while I was there. I will definitely be coming back.

They wouldn’t take my sisters military id.Edit because the line above is more of a heading.A group of about 15 of us came to this bar. We were celebrating because my sister was getting married the next day. Most of our party is from Colorado so we all had Colorado IDs, including my sister. Most of our group had already entered the bar with those IDs being sufficient. When my sister tried to come in they denied her entry because her ID was “fake”. We asked if they could scan the ID or finger print her to prove it was real and they said no. She then left to get her military ID. Our group was pretty frustrated at this point because we were here to celebrate her and she was the only one they wouldn’t let in. The staff were rude and unprofessional and unfair to my sister. We all decided to leave because they wouldn’t let her in and when she finally got her military ID and brought it to them they said “we don’t care we aren’t letting you in.” She was crying and we were frustrated. We did accidentally take a glass out in our hurry to leave to console my sister. Overall, very disappointed with this place. We did go to a few other bars after this and had no issue anywhere else.

Mik’s is one of my favorite spots in cda! Their server Athena is so nice and I always get my drinks quickly. The dance floor is fun and their dj plays good music.

Love love love this bar! Great servers, even better security and great music! Best, welcoming atmosphere, accepting of all and Ive never had a bad time here! Always a safe and fun environment. Im a regular and usually end up here despite the many other places I could go. I even go solo sometimes, but never feel alone or unsafe at Miks. Keep up the great work guys, theres a reason yall have been around for a quarter of a century ⭐️⭐️🤩⭐️⭐️

The place was not welcoming at all, the security is the main issue, they dont know how to manage a REAl bar. If you are used to real bars, this isnt the one for you, BS security runs a profiling agenda and kicks patrons out for absolutely nothing other than their own personal feelings towards guests having a fun time. Will never return or recommend to anyone in the future. Not worth the visit!

This is a bar I come to every so often. Lately, it’s all drama. They pick favorites and if you know the owners you can walk on any customer in there without an issue and that’s not okay with me anymore. I love many of the employees but a select few constantly pick on people (not just me) and I’m over it. There are only two bartenders that actually keep a smile on there face the rest look at you like your dirt to them and their better than everyone else. Tired of going in there to see people in my age group including myself get bullied by there staff. Do better & play fair. Enforce your rules for EVERYONE.

There are rumors this used to be a safe and inclusive bar, for everyone. It saddens me that this is the best our town can offer. Every time Ive gone here, I leave disappointed at how unwelcoming both the bar and the guests make my friends and I feel.I hope one day they will make more of an effort to welcome those of us that arent exactly straight. Its a really cool spot with good music.If youre looking for something similar but more welcoming of all crowds, maybe check out NYNE in Spokane. Its a drive, but at least its inclusive. You dont have to be secretive there.Miks has the potential to be a really nice club again with a little work. Like even just a flag or something to help draw in those of the Q+ community, or signs or something, it would really mean a lot.

My husband and I have been to Mik’s numerous times over the past few years. Last New Years Eve we dressed in drag and had a great time. Staff never made us feel uncomfortable for being gay or drag queens. They actually kept an eye out for us and when we were harassed by some unfriendly patrons security was quick to act to ensure our safety. Mik’s is the only bar/dance club I recommend to any of our LGBTQ+ friends. Thank you Mik’s we will be back this New Years Eve!!

I’ve worked here as well as being on the other side as a patron. The bartenders are phenomenal, the bouncers make you feel secure and the DJ’s are on point! Loved working for this establishment and now I love visiting as a customer!! Kudos to the owners for getting it right 👌

Fun bar and dance club. The drinks were cheap and strong. Met a nice fellow dressed like Steve Irwin who tried to sell me cocaine. Would definitely go back again.

Best bar in town by far! Love the staff and the drinks are fair priced. Music is perfect and the whole place is very inviting. Ive never felt more comfortable in a bar than I do here!

Everyone here is amazing, bartenders and security alike. You’ll be cared for and safe here as you enjoy a night out drinking, and really there is nothing that can beat that when going out.

I have been to this bar several times. I know the owners and many of the staff. This place is the place to go if you want to dance, hang out, meet people, feel welcome. Support our local dance club in CdA.

I finally ventured to this bar for the first time last night! I wish I’d come here sooner. The vibe was super fun, they had really kind and diligent security I wish I could remember the names but they are awesome! Bar tenders were super nice as well. Music was great. I’ve had more fun here than I ever did at any of the other downtown cda bars, I will be coming here to drink in town again and again!

For over 25 years, Miks has been a welcoming space and supporter of good community causes. The owners and staff are amazing people, and there are fun events that happen on a regular basis. There are beautiful murals on the wall. Miks regularly has dancing or entertainment on the weekends in CDA.

Come here all the time but won’t be returning. Last night my friend and I waited for two and a half hours by the beer pong table then somebody claiming they knew the owner wrote their names before us. We were upset but we still let them go first then after they lost the game it was our turn to go and then they claimed that they signed up for two games and that we couldn’t play. How do you tell somebody they haven’t been waiting that they walked away from the table? Also how they can do whatever they want because they know the owner absolutely ridiculous the bouncers came up and forced us out just because we were saying how do you lose a game and then don’t leave the table after you already butted it in front of us? IF THERE IS AN ISSUE RESOLVE IT DONT KICK SOMEONE OUT FOR HAVING COMMON DECENCY!

My wife and I had sooooo much fun here! We definitely plan on having more date nights @ Miks. The atmosphere and the people were awesome and a lot of fun too! Good vibes the whole time... karaoke was a blast!

We brought our wedding group here for the after party and had an amazing rest of our night. Rita the owner is so friendly and DJ Jason was on fire! Good drinks, quick bartenders, fair prices, comfortable seating, fun stage/dancing area.

Was refused service because we informed them of a creepy group outside saying inappropriate things to us before we entered. Not sure how that warrants us getting our drinks poured out in front of us. But there are plenty of better bars near by, try them out!The moose, even the beacon is better!(Ps I agree With the gentleman below, unprofessional, and ugly bartenders.

Visited here as we were passing through and had a wonderful time! Shannon really made our night. She was attentive and knowledgeable and seemed to have a great attitude all night! Drinks were consistent and had great flavor as well. We will definitely return if we have the chance!

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Drinks are weak and staff is horrible!! I was in the club and my brother showed up a while later. When I went out to get him I tried to get them to just let him in. Because of this, the staff kicked me out of the bar and called the police on me for being a nuisance. ! I work in the legal field, I know the law and I certainly know how to act...I have never seen anything like this before in my life. Completely disappointed with the staff, the service, the music and the weak drinks.

This bar is so trashy and the employees are even trashier. They are always on a high horse/ act better than everyone. You should all be taught that customers keep you guys open, treat people better!!!

Semi decent bar. Bouncers are friendly and take care of issues fast. Bar tenders are very biased. They will server all their friends prior to looking at someone new. Very open to all views and lifestyles.

Such a great bar. They even are having drag shows again one Saturday a month. The staff has been super kind and accepting to all guests.

Definite a bit of a dive, but in the best way! They have a dance floor, well stocked bar, and pool tables. Something fun for everyone! Also love the message of inclusion and acceptance! Highly recommend if your looking for a fun and safe place to be yourself and have a great night.

Good drinks and the karaoke is fun. Only downfall is that it doesnt have food, but it does have some pool tables and Beer Pong!!! Thats right: you can play your favorite college game while waiting to sing karaoke. Only place I have been to that has Beer Pong aside from a Frat party.

I will no longer go to this establishment. The bouncers are extremely disrespectful. 2 of them were clearly high on something. They treated us so poorly. I will never come to this bar ever again. I remember when miks was the place to be, not any more.

Miks is one of the few establishments in CDA that lets people feel comfortable in their own skinIgnore the bad reviews and give it a chance, it’s definitely worth checking out!

The bartender on 12/8 was extremely rude. We told him that there was weird men on the street driving a van while he was pouring us drinks then said he would not give them to us and poured them down the sink. It was very bizarre all we did was tell him about people being weird outside the bar and he acted extremely unacceptable.

Ive never had a better time going out. Everyone is so friendly and personable. They dont care about who or what or where you come from.

Great ambiance, great staff. lots of fun. My only complaint could be the pool tables taking space, and maybe some of the seating. Barbies 9, Kens 7.

The DJ didn’t care about customers likes, asked for songs to be payed and he just refused even though the music playing at the time was horrible and nobody was dancing, looks like you go to a place where all it matters it’s the djs likes not the customers!!

Terrific times are always had here. Staff is friendly, efficient, kind, energetic, and fun. Come in as a party of one or a group...countinually fueling our need/want for safety and a great time💚❤💜💙💛

Only been here a couple times, gave it the benefit of the doubt second time, still rude because Im latino. Security kept buzzing me, clearly a racist establishment. Not surprising for CDA, but I expected more.
