Literally was just Im the store. I had to use a 50 to buy my smokes. Dude literally with me still in the store complained to the customer behind me about how hed like to slap me for having the audacity to use a 50 for a pack of smokes. Very poor customer service skills will definitely not be returning to the store.

I have been going to The Coeur dAlene Big Smoke for many Moons since moving my family to the CdA area roughly 25 years ago.They have an awesome selection of tobacco and vape products, real reasonable prices on loose pipe tobacco in a variety of sizes, brands, etc.. As well as portable cigarette rolling machines and tubes for folks like me who are looking to make their own cigarettes to save on the cost!I believe the primary reason I keep coming back to this particular Smoke shop, is the fantastic people who work for this fine establishment; the majority of their regular staff are great!Seeing (mostly) the same friendly faces year after year, tells me the owners of this local franchise are doing more than the average smoke shop to retain their hardworking valuable customer service expert team members.Thank you!!***Updated on 16 January 2024***Keep an eye out when purchasing tobacco/other misc items from this particular stores 50% Off bin thats displayed near back register!On two separate occasions, one this morning, and one last weekday afternoon; of course whilst I was distracted and in a hurry, thus NOT paying close attention; I added a tobacco product from the aforementioned 50% bin to my usual pack of smokes. I didnt notice until I was on the road back home, whenever my debit card notified me of the purchase, that I was charged The FULL PRICE instead of receiving the advertised 50% off! Keep in mind that I didnt purchase this item thrown randomly in this bin by some inconsiderate customer; the item I selected was one of several in a stack.Anyways, I did try to phone Big Smoke to innquire as to what I could do later on today to remedy this issue, but alas, NOBODY answered their business phone after approximately 20 rings.... No voicemail options either.Also keep in mind that due to the time of day and inclement cold weather or whatever reason; this store WASNT BUSY at all 20 minutes ago.So, since Im currently running important errands in my neighborhood and beyond; I will have to plan on making a special trip back to Big Smoke to see about getting the approximately $5.69 refunded to my debit card. For a person like me whos on a very tight & fixed income; the added cost of gas, time & overall inconvenience of going back to this store is really stressful. I let the first time this occured here (last weekday afternoon) slide-it wasnt worth the time etc and MYSELF BAD got nothing keeping hypervigilant whilst cashier rings me up!But this time, and The fact that it was 5 bucks versus a dollar last week; makes me very motivated to speak with their manager.Well see

Finally got some cigars in. Used to buy from this store because they offered good service and good price per stick. Ill be purchasing better product from cda pipes and cigars. The guy at the register was just a jerk.

It makes smoking more affordable. Especially if you prefer loose tobacco or to roll your own cigarettes.

Excellent atmosphere and prompt service. Kayla was the young lady who assisted us. She was really busy but got the line down quickly and has an awesome personality. 🙂

So they have arizona Iced tea for .99 cents, but rings up twice as much, then wont honor the marked price. Lame, wont shop here again because any other store anywhere else would honor the marked price and maybe fix it on the display. Bad business

Tim is very knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right vape for the right price. He was also very busy sweeping and doing his duties. Absolutely amazing customer service. Thank you Big Smoke CDA. I recommend you to all my friends and Ill certainly be back as a return customer!

Talk about Service with a smile. My husband n I almost always go here and will continue. Always has great prices for smokes (electronic or regular), incense, and you can always count on good employees that are down to earth n easy to joke with.

Friendly employees, fast service and clean. Pretty hot inside in the summer time. But, if you are a smoker its the best place in town. Have to drive 20+ miles to the Indian convenience store to save money and buy your brand names cheaper.

It was crowded crowded its a small parking area you got to be really careful around there that was the only reason I gave it a four star its just too crowded around there I mean its in the middle of the it aint at the corner its in the center of that line so I guess theyre like most of them. If i could give 5s I definitely would. For a local less expensive Smoke Shop, the is the place (aside from Fighting Creek, but who wants to drive there in the winter). Very reasonable prices, lighter contests, great customer service.Would appreciate HOURS to be posted, aside from that.... I will not pass on this one!

No complaints against products or service. My only disappointment was price. Several small gas/ mini marts are much less expensive. Prices are too high.

The ladies are so sweet there i love hellen! rachel is the most sweetest person ever she is amazing and have the hugest heart everr. Reese is nice as well. And the rest are sweet as hell. John is nice but i swear he hates me!

I will never go back in this store again. They are always out of American spirit roll your own and the supplies you need to go with ot....they are rude and always have some stupid excuse as to why they are out. Bad management to say the least! Obviously they are not very bright and have no idea what customer service means!!!

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this vendor. I am a vapor and have a quad. I had a business trip to take and discovered that lithium batteries are no longer allowed on airplanes. I stop by Big Smoke to see what I could substitute that would meet airplane travel standards. A sales associate assisted me with picking out an e-pen and a box of extra cartridges. When I got home I opened the cartridge package and tried to attach it to the e-cig. It was the wrong model. I went back to Big Smoke with the cartridges and my receipt but they refused to give me a refund, even toward the purchase of the correct cartridges. The stated that they couldnt sell the returned cartridges and that they werent willing to take a loss of $8 dollars and some change. I wont go back after their complete disregard for basic customer service and customer satisfaction.

Friendly atmosphere with a great selection of cigars that are stored in a walk in humidor, Beer at generally lower prices than anywhere else in town, cigarettes seem to be on the high side but the other merchandise related to smoking are unique and fairly priced for the area

The service is complete trash and lady working the register was very rude. Was of no help what so ever and had a horrid attitude. All I wanted was some mod accessories.Will not be going back in here again.P.S.Also I agree with the other guy had bad breath. Teeth also looked like pieces of corn.

Great priced smoking and smoking accessories. Also have convenience type products for a possible 1 stop shopping experience. If the checkers there where better trained and more customer service oriented Id have gone 5 stars.

I asked them what the best e cig fluid they have for my setup,(I showed them my setup when I purchased atomisers along with the fluid) I bought a very big bottle of fluid, atomizers and it turns out the fluid was not for my setup. Clogged it all up, was smokin wik, the same is lighting your shirt on fire and inhaling the smoke. I brought the bottle back, they admitting told me the fluid was not for my setup, admitting the fact they solid me the wrong fluid. I told them to exchange the bottle or you will never see me in here for anything again, and Im going to give a bad review so ppl know they will sell you anything to make money, regardless the fact they recommended you something, you thinking it is the best of their product, turns out you cant even use it, its like going to a restaurant, you saying what is your best meal, they serve you a T.V. dinner, that has been sitting in their freezer for a year, called a convenience store, that is not convenient to get ripped off. Ill gladly purchase my vaping equipment along with any other product they have elsewhere....I hope they lose business, should of just exchanged the bottle so the next time I go to cda,I would stock up on there vaping supplies.....since they couldnt do me right, and they have plenty of other customers they can rip off because of their prime location, Ill stock up elsewhere, either order online (cheaper anyway), or go 5 min up the road, next to panda fast food, there are plenty other places to go than rip offs like these ppl.....

The atmosphere of this place and the people who work there. Are not very cordial.

Good deals on several varieties of smokes, tabacco for you pipe smokers. As well as awesome prices on beer etc. Friendly staff and a free lighter if you guess the trivia question of the day.

I love this place they have a really good cigar area and the manger their knows his stuff when it comes to cigars Ill be going back again thats for sure

This is probably the best one stop shop for your smoking needs in CDA Good variety and many accessories. The only place cheaper for your smokes is at the reservation smoke shop 30 minutes away.
