I have been a member for a decade, and I have up to 87 massages on my account, and they keep changing the rules on transfers. Also lost about 30 when transferring between locations, most likely franchise money issues. I can never find a therapist I like, and they all never have the right availability, hence the reason why I have so many. So, while they have enjoyed my many thousands of dollars in their accounts, they make it impossible to utilize or transfer.
So disappointed, this is more of a buyer beware. Find a better place that is more understanding.We were moving and so my wife scheduled an appointment after our move to R&R. The night before her appointment she was unpacking and injured her back significantly.They were closed so we left them a message saying, hey, she’s at the ER, she can’t make her appointment at 9am (when they open). It was a complete freak accident.I even called at 8:45am and 8:55am trying to get someone because she was the first appointment of the day. Crickets.While she was seeing a doctor, around 9:15am, she gets a call and they told her they were charging her $60 because she no showed. She explained what happened and what we tried to do, but they said sorry, but policy is policy.I even called the corporate office and left them a message. No call back, no email, no refund.For a company that states that they believe in the health and safety of their customers and that they are compassionate, and not follow up with a customer complaint is beyond me.
Worst customer service in a long time, Im legally blind and had an unfortunate circumstance in which a ride share canceled on me more than once and I had to get a new car much further away. I called and explained, instead of being gracious and understanding about rescheduling, I was met with a very cold, terse response of youll have to purchase another one. I too run a small business and know time is so valuable, yet compassion is as well and you cant discriminate against people for things out of their control. I was neither ignorant nor careless, and this business treated me with not just apathy, but disdain.
I signed up for my friend Sophie and her mom a monthly membership and they went out of the country after a few months of service. I was told I needed to come in every 2 months to put the account on freeze so they would not be charged and so I did. After the 2nd time, the owner told me she will put it on freeze until dec 2023 or when Sophie came back so I dont have to come back so often. Its now august and reviewing statements, I was being charged 2membership pricing since April 1st. I stop by the salon 3 times and call multiple times in hopes to speak with the owner to resolve this issue. I wanted to find out whats going on from the owner since the front desk do not have any authority to help me. Its been 3 weeks now and not even 1 single call back from the owner. They even refuse to take my credit card payment info off recurring charges until the owner lets them. Worst experience from a business ever. Now I see why all the previous years ratings were bad.
I went for a Lymph nodes system drainage massage with Peter B. He was very knowledgeable, gentle and soft spoken. Gets the job done!
The worst massage experience ever. Got zero pressure and the masseuse said no pressure was required as he had learned some ying/yang healing technique that other therapists didnt know. Could give them zero stars if I could. Additionally paid for an hour massage and barely got 35 mins most of which was spent talking to me and not even massaging. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
I gave my daughter a massage as a Christmas gift. She kept it and saved it for the week if finals. She called me very frustrated afterwards because she said it was the worst massage she has ever had. She has had numerous massages over the years, so she had a lot to compare to. She said there was zero pressure, it was kore like he was just sweeping his fingers over the area he was working on. She even told him during the massage she had knots she needed him to apply more pressure and work out the knots and he said no and that other massage therapists didnt really know what they were doing and that his method worked better. She said she almost got up and left in the middle of the massage. I called right after her massage, just because I felt the manager should be aware of it. I wasnt angry when I called, just wanted to inform. The receptionist was very nice and said the manager wasnt there and woukd call me and my daughter the next day. Two days went by and still didnt receive a call so I called again. The same receptionist assured me she woukd have thr manager call me in the morning because, once again, she wasnt there. Although, she had been given the message. Again, no phone call. We werent wanting anything but to inform the manager of thr poor quality of thr massage. They obviously do not care about their customers of they cant even call to find out thr details or make an apology. We will never use them again.
When they first opened, they took great care of their customers and offered great services. I have used them twice and the second time the customer service felt hurried and poor. Ive been trying to three weeks to schedule an appointment for a 90 minute massage. I finally gave up on that this week and finally arranged an appointment for 5pm on a Tuesday. I was called the Monday before and the therapist that was supposed to handle my appointment had to cancel and they promised to call me back to set up another appointment the same day. I never got a call. Then I try to call again today and the phone just rings or goes to a voicemail box that promises they will call you back again. After all this I am giving up on using this business. I can be tolerant but this just gets to be too much when Im trying to pay for a massage. I wont go back even though the facilities are nice and its close to my house. I also wont recommend them. :(
This is such a peaceful place. They keep it very clean and the atmosphere is soothing and relaxing with music and low lighting. My massage was AMAZING. The amount of pressure was just right and relieved all the tension in my neck and shoulders. I would come here weekly if I could. Highly recommend.
I called Saturday morning and made an appointment for a facial massage for 4 pm on the same day. Kristi answered the phone and said that the introductory offer was $55. However after the massage at the checkout a young male associate informed me that the introductory rate was changed 4 days ago and now it’s $65. Seriously???? Kristi didn’t know that? Are you scamming and misleading your customers just to get them in??? He didn’t even bother to adjust it and make it right! Very disappointing!!
BEWARE!!!! I purchased 6 massages in December for $390 as a Christmas gift for a friend. While checking my recent credit card statement, I was surprised to see a $65 charge for July. I contacted the manager and was told that after 6 months, you automatically continue getting monthly charges. I told her I did not approve this and never intended to continue paying for monthly massages for my friend. I was told that my friend would have to complete paperwork to discontinue services and that I could not do this. WHAT?!?? I am the one getting charged. I reported this to the Better Business Bureau and am seeking a $65 refund for July and no further charges. I will never use this business again!
I am re-reviewing my experience because they exceeded my expectations today and they are working towards bettering their services! I recommend that if you have had a bad experience with them in the past, you try them again! Great therapist, customer service and atmosphere! I highly suggest that you try them since its the best value for an hour massage in town and its under new ownership. Stay blessed!
I have been 1 time and although the visit was good, trying to get an appt here is ridiculous. I dont know if theres not enough employees or what. To get a microderm Id have to book at least 2 wks outs and for a message, I have looked on the calendar all the way for a month out and only person I ever see is Peter with light message. Not sure if he is the only messus or what but I need firm to deep, would like some kind of choice in people and certainly cant book a month in advance. Ive had my membership for years but guess I will be canceling as its completely useless here.
Friendly staff and relaxing environment. So far, my massages have been as good as those from fancy spas and massage places. In fact, I recently decided to get their monthly membership as it saves you a good amount of money if you plan on getting a massage every month or two.
I actually give this Massage Envy zero stars but, it will not let me post with zero stars. We have been members of Massage Envy since 2009. We have been members of the College Station store since they opened. We have had nothing but, problems every since we stated going there but, it continues to get worse. We have so many hours on the books because they are so short staffed they never can get us in. They have even told us on numerous occasions that they would call us when they opened up the new appointments. They never call us back. When we call they still do not have appointments. It is funny how you are quick to take my money every month but, no service is ever paid in return. At this time I have made multiple phone calls and nobody will even pick up the phone. Therefore, it only leaves me with one option and that is to call the BBB, Corporate and my credit card company.
We booked a couples massage for Valentines day and enjoyed it very much! David and Ingrid took very good care of us and made sure we where comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The girls at the front desk where sweet but far to pushy with trying to sell additional services. Would come back again!
Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Went in for a first time chemical peel and the esthetician was great. Asked about my skin care concerns and routine. The whole time during the chemical peel she kept me informed and asked how I was doing. She was very informative about post care which was amazing. Can’t wait for my next chemical peel! My skin is look amazing and it’s only been 24 hours.
Extremely short staffed. Front desk person was nice but booking is so far out in advance which is fine for people who work a regular schedule but not for those of us who don’t. Signed up for a membership in Corpus knowing I was moving up here shortly after and that I am able to use it at other locations but now I’m paying for something I can’t even really use. Canceling it as soon as my contract is up!
Love my 80 min deep tissue massages with Jasmin! ME has really stepped up their game in the facial department too! They are handling the covid situation very well. I feel very comfortable while checking in and receiving my service. Front desk very friendly.
My daughter gave me a gift to have a spa day with massage and facial. The attention was poor from the beginning, they did not invite me to sit down but to fill out the forms standing up until I asked her to please provide me with a chair for my comfort. Later they made me wait because the masseuse was late, my robe was without a slipper and the massage was not relaxing or healthy. I felt pain. The facial was ok, but today I woke up with very sore shoulders. it was a bad start. Im sorry that my daughter wasted her money on Envy massage in Cstat.
Rhonda was excellent giving massage and stretching for my back and hip. Rachel the manager was very knowledgeable and helpful about facial products and Jasmine at the front desk staff extremely friendly. Recommend visiting this location for massage services.
Very disappointing. The massage was more of a body rub with oil and very little effort. When I asked for more pressure, the therapist said that this was the only type of massage she could give me. When I complained to the front desk, I was advised to come back and pay for another massage with someone else. What a waste of my $55.I was offered a replacement massage at no cost and had Ingrid as my massage therapist. I was impressed with her massage technique and highly recommend her if you go to this location.
Had a massage with Leslie today! Very impressed with her knowledge, skillset, flow, pressure and communication. She took her time to work through all of my aches and pains and asked questions because she genuinely cares about helping me. I’ll definitely be back to see her in the very near future :)
Friendly staff, good facials they talk you into a pig deal and you pay monthly. When unable to come and you cancel your membership they dont reimburse you. So becareful and make sure you get your moneys worth. They took me for around $140. Just be aware of what you are signing.
I have been having terrible headaches and body aches for several weeks with no relief in sight. Made an appointment at Massage Envy and today I feel amazing! He knew exactly what to look for and what to work on. I will definitely go back again! If you have had a bad massage in the past, try Massage Envy and request Shane. It will change how you feel about massage therapy!
I go as frequently as possibly. Everyone here are pleasant and the the massage treatments and facials are excellent.
Horrible experience. Ended up with more discomfort than when I came in. Dug into my back while barely any pressure elsewhere. Massage therapist seemed untrained and unprofessional (with rough hands?). Im 31 weeks pregnant and they did little to make sure I was comfortable (ended up feeling nauseous from laying on the wrong side too long). I had to wait 25 minutes while being the only one there and they didnt even touch the parts I asked for special attention. So upset. Never again.
This place was warm and welcoming from the time I walked in to the time I checked out, and my massage was exactly what I asked for! I had read some reviews before going and was skeptical, but I was more than happy with my experience. The new ownership has completely turned the place around. If you’ve been before and didn’t enjoy it I definitely recommend trying it again!
Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever experience. I booked my appointment a week in advance and when i showed up they forgot to book it in the computer. The girls at the front desk refused to speak to me and wouldnt even give me their names! They pretty much told me that it wasnt book so sorry and to have a nice day!
Requested my appointment a week in advance and was never contacted by a representative to schedule. When I called to ask why I hadnt been contacted, I was told that it was better to book over the phone rather than online. As a first time guest, how am I supposed to know that?!?
You need to make your appointment for massage well in advance. I have never been able to get in for an appointmentwithin a 3 day time frame. Other then this they do good work....

This will be my first time attending. After reading reviews Im kind of not looking forward to it... so I went and the staff isnt great. Massage was okay for my first but I expected better....

Its hit and miss. Not all the masseuses are great for deep tissue. Its better to go for deep tissue in the morning when the masseuse is still energized. The front staff is also hit and miss. I do like the broad range of services.

Went out there about a month ago had a facial with a girl named Rene really nice girl love the facial I called last week to get a facial and was told shes no longer there this is the second esthetician that has left within a month, not sure why she left I thought she did a very good job this is why I dont get a membership because you the people you like all of the sudden leave
Shane is a top therapist here. So much more than just massages. Most of my lower back is metal and I live in pain. Shane is a huge part of my pain management.
So disappointed, I showed up for my scheduled appointment and was told they did not have my appointment because my updated card was not on file. However, I had updated my card the month before. The person I spoke with was not helpful, refused to get me back on the schedule and then tried to charge the card that apparently was not updated!
Clean place. Good massages... Yet their website says theyre open... and their phone number says theyre closed? Its very frustrating not being able to get ahold of an establishment that claims to be open, or that hasnt opened their phone lines 3 hours into the day.
Warming and inviting environment. Love Jessica, she is always so attentive to the areas I need work on and my favorite therapist there.
Excellent franchise of Massage Envy. They offer massage, stretching, etc, but they really excel at facials.
