Massage Envy

Used a gift card. Massage was generic but I was comfortable. When leaving I got a sales pitch for a membership and told my next massage would be almost twice this cost. I felt like just another appointment. Individual therapist was good, the front desk made me not want to come back.

I have been a member for over a year, and have had the best experience here. My massage therapist is professional, attentive, and always is trying to better my health. Great team from the front desk to the therapist team. I highly recommend.

I am a previous Massage Envy member of over 10 years. I canceled my membership because the monthly fee kept going up while the quality and availability of therapists kept going down. Worst of all, I only get deep tissue massages and finding a therapist that knows how to give a deep tissue massage was going from slim to none. Fast forward a few years, and yesterday, my wife surprised me with a birthday massage at this location; off the bat, I was skeptical and nervous, given my previous experiences I just shared, however, my wife made it clear that she made it crystal clear when booking that I needed a therapist for a deep tissue massage. At my appointment I was met by a therapist named Ginger. Immediately, she was giving off racist vibes, but I shrugged it off telling myself, if the massage is great, that’s all that matters. The initial press from head to toe was good, but that’s all Ginger could deliver for me. For the next 30mins, she was just rubbing her fingertips and knuckles against my spine, no hands/forearms/elbows, or squeezing, or long strokes on my muscles. I stopped and asked her if she was going to get into a deep tissue massage or if the entire massage was going to be like this. She informed me that what she was doing is a deep tissue massage, and that’s when I ended it, THANKFULLY! No need for my wife to waste A LOT of money on this useless massage. My wife also had a massage that was about to begin, but she quickly backed out; they initially were charging my wife half for her massage/cancelation ($90!!!) but I asked nicely and they canceled her massage without penalizing her (will have to confirm with her bank transactions). Once again, Massage Envy strikes with their low quality and skilled therapists. I at least appreciate the front staff for doing the right thing and not penalizing my wife for her canceled massage-Thank you. We were there, together, for a celebration, and when I canceled, my wife said bye too, she’s an amazing wife! Thankfully, my birthday celebration continued as I was able to quickly book 2 massages at another place and we both absolutely loved our deep tissue massages elsewhere!

The group party was successful, and the food was slow to be served. I liked that they gave separate tickets to guests. I had a single chili relleno, rice, beans, and salad.

I have had a membership to Massage Envy for a year now and I have been going to the Concord-Clayton location the whole time. My first massage therapist was Wendy and I went to her for most of my massages. She does a great job on the back and works out kinks in your back you I didnt know. I always felt better the next day and my body felt looser and more flexible. Thank you for the great work!Also, I want to give a 5-star review to Mirela at the front desk - shes sincere and friendly and does a great job with scheduling!

LOVED IT!!! Got a wonderful massage by Britney and an in-depth facial from Niko, who were amazing and caring, leaving me with health and facial care tips. Mirela is so sweet and a great help (she will give you the BEST treatment recommendations) and the front desk staff, Michelle and Jema were amazing too! Everyone really cares about their clients, and you can tell that they are knowledgeable about what they are doing. Definitely recommend, and can’t wait to come back!

I value individuals that have excellent customer service and sincere care as it is very important especially in a client facing environment such as a massage clinic. Mirela has provided excellent service to me from the get go, since she was a Rep at the front desk. She truly deserves her promotion as part of management. She exudes confidence as a leader and seems to value her employees and customers. Big kudos to the owner for seeing value in investing time and money to talented individuals like Mirela. She is truly a gem and an asset to the Concord/Clayton clinic and the company as a whole. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I would also like to give big kudos to Niko for a job well done. Hey so I just had to make a shoutout to my ladies over at ME Clayton. First and foremost, Gloria, my massage therapist there in Clayton, is one of the best therapists that I have been to. She is helping me retrain my nervous system with certain techniques and I cant be more grateful. Also the ladies at the front desk, Lauren and Mirela, who always use my name when I walk in are sweethearts and always make me feel welcome. Overall, great people, great atmosphere, great work.......much love ME Clayton. See ya in a couple weeks!!!

My crazy work schedule has prevented me from getting my massage, I called to finally set up an appointment and the front desk worker, Jemalyn was happy to help me. She took the time to find the right therapist for my specific needs, and an appointment time that fit my crazy schedule, she was extremely friendly and helpful.With Jemalyns help, I saw Kaye for the first time. Kaye was very professional, and focused specifically on the areas that I mentioned were troubling me. Ive now seen Kaye twice and have my next 2 appointments booked already.

I have been going to the Concord-Clayton location of Massage Envy for about 1.5 years and must say that the service I have and continue to receive is outstanding. What really drew me into this establishment is my masseur, Daniel, Id follow him just about anywhere. I am a chronic pain patient, have an old injury that effects my neck/shoulder/back areas and nothing had seemed to work except for going in for regular (twice per month) sessions with Daniel, hes truly amazing, professional, knows exactly what to do and doesnt give up until hes found the source of the problem. I also ventured into facials and must say that I found Nikos work to be quite exceptional, and added to my overall experience ten-fold If youre looking for a knowledgeable and professional esthetician, look no further, Niko is your guy. I found my time with Niko to be invaluable to my skin care/health and will continue to book sessions with him, hes a gem in skincare. Lastly, the entire greeting/appointment staff, Jem and Tiff, are always pleasant and willing to go the extra mile ensuring your services are what youre looking for and done in a timely manner! Lastly, this group shines with a manager that is dedicated to overall service and excellence...Mirela has a very special team and operates this location very well! My advise is to try out this location and services, youll be back after your test drive!

Malissa and Jema are the best! Jema is so friendly and super helpful especially when it comes to booking my next appointments. It is always nice to walk in and see her smiling. Malissa is AMAZING! Her massages are so unique and effective. I sit at a desk for long periods of time and her technique is the only therapy that I have found to help my neck and back. I highly recommend!

I have been coming to this location for roughly 2 years now. When I started I had a lot of sciatic nerve pain as well as intermittent pain in other areas of my body. I feel very blessed to have been referred to Kaye, my incredible massage therapist! She has quite literally changed my life by almost completely eliminating my pain & educating me on even more ways to have ultimate health. She is very warm, professional, & always goes above and beyond. I as well have been lucky enough to have been referred to Mr. Niko who is the facial and skin care master! He is amazing. I always look forward to my visits with him. He has educated me on the importance of taking care of my skin, including preventative maintenance, and has helped me get into a really good routine and recommended some amazing products to me. I was originally very skeptical to switch my current products because my skin is so sensitive. But everything he has recommended from the PCA line has been transformative for my skin. Niko and Kaye are my All-Star team for my body being pain free, and my skin looking fabulous!!! I cannot say enough good things about these two! As well its very refreshing to always be greeted personally by Mirela and Jema, they always remember me by name. And are so sweet, and accommodating. Since Ive been a customer for roughly 2 years I have witnessed this particular location being under new management. And I have to say their new team as well as aesthetic improvements are excellent! Thank you for always making my experience the highlight of my day.

I have been a member here at Concord Clayton for years and I love the massages and facials I get from Gloria and Daniel. I had injured my wrist and Gloria showed me how to do stretches and my wrist felt so much better. The facials I get from Nikko are wonderful. The ladies in the front are friendly and I always get awesome service, especially from Mirela

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Mirella is the assistant manager and she is wonderful!! She really listens and sets you up with the perfect masseuse - Gloria is AMAZING!! She is really helping with my back and sciatica issues. I highly recommend this place.

I love Mirela, Jema and Jackie. These ladies make it easy to keep appointments based on my crazy schedule, always wearing a friendly smile. In addition, Jackies therapy is among the best of the best!!

Friendly and helpful front desk staff, newly remodeled facility, easy parking, Peets coffee in the same mall, overall a wonderful experience! Quite a few therapists from the former Pleasant Hill downtown location now work here, they actually called me to help set up appointments, otherwise I would not know where to find my therapist again!

Great location - never any problems here. I see Cassandra, who is the perfect mix of incredibly friendly and professional. Oh, and she is excellent at what she does - especially the deep tissue! Be advised, book her well in advance.

Havent even gotten an appointment because they keep calling me telling me my therapist called off. Ive tried 3 different times. Tonight I Showed up and they told me they called me to tell me another worker called off on our appointment but my mailbox was full to leave a message. Then I was hung up on when told I could be be put on a wait list. Dont even know what that means!!!

Ms Jackie did a great job with the deep tissue I had requested. And the front desk greeting was warm and welcoming.

Highly recommend. Each massage therapist has a specialty. May take a couple trips to make the best match for your needs.

Service was good. It was relaxing and the pricing was fair. I was able to get an appointment last minute over a holiday weekend where everyone else was full. I would come back though it wouldnt be my first option.

Was awesome. Ive had bad ones there but found a guy who is phenom. Luck of draw. Chris is best masseuse Ive ever encountered for deep tissue at a ME.
