The staff is great and my overall experience was amazing!!! I joined for a 90 minute monthly massage immediately after receiving my massage. I felt amazing following my massage as well as several days later. LaVida is the place to go in Cypress!!!

I always leave feeling refreshed. Danilo has magic hands. He always works out all of the stress and helps refresh my body and mind. The customer service team is amazing as well. Very personable and professional. I will definitely keep my membership with LaVida and continue to recommend the Barker Cypress location to my friends and family.

The massage therapists at La Vida are great, but their front desk is severely lacking. Not once, but twice, I have not gotten the therapist that I specifically scheduled with 10+ days out. The front desk staff did not even apologize. Terrible customer service. She just said there was nothing she could do. Confirm, confirm, confirm every detail of your appointment with them.

Danilo is our go to! If you want someone who really listens to the body and will work out your troubles, hes your man!

Wow! La Vida has new management and you can tell! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Vida this past weekend and will rebook. Roxie is a GREAT job!

Alex is a amazing massage therapist, he makes you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. He is by far the best massage therapist I have been to. .He is attentive and sensitive to what your body needs, offering the right amount of pressure as needed.

I took my mom and sister with me to have facials and my sister and also had massages at La Vida which is near where they live. We were all extremely pleased with our experience! Easy to schedule with Savanah and Chloe at the front desk. Danilo was a great masseuse who worked hard on our knotted and stressed backs! Payton was a wonderful aesthetician who left us glowing after our facials. I’m from out of town but visit my family often so we’ll be back😁

It was a great massage! He even helped me stretch to get rid of some of the tension. He made sure I was comfortable and would make sure that the pressure was ok.

Friendly greeting when entered. massage was awesome! included some stretching and Himalayan hot stones. highly recommend the hot stones! will be back if we return to the area. (traveling)

I very rarely give a full 5 star review, but this establishment has always had (and continues to have) great customer service. Theyve managed to squeeze me in last minute, have been polite every single time I was running late or had questions and are extremely professional. Ive been a member at various other massage chains and I realize the turnover is high, however, each therapist Ive encountered here has done a great job and thats mostly because they really listen to whats going on with the client and try to offer a solution. Ill continue my membership here and may encourage my husband to start one as well. Keep up the great work guys!

Danilo delivered an excellent deep tissue massage! He is masterful in his art and was able to work out some knots and kinks that others massage therapists could not. I highly recommend for athletes and weight lifters that need sheer strength to provide deep tissue work. I will definitely be back.

Just recently had a prenatal massage here. This wasn’t my first prenatal, so I am comparing it to others (done at different businesses)The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming for my first visit. The masseuse was a bit awkward, and seems as if she was uncomfortable in conversation before the massage. The massage itself was great, but difficult for me to get comfortable being I could only lay on my side. At other places, I’ve had custom cushions to relax on while I receive a full body prenatal massage. I wasn’t given any scent options for the lotions or oils so for me that was a con. I’m not sure if it was just me or if that’s standard there.Overall it was a good experience and I’d likely return :)

I always enjoy my massages. The masseuse listens to your needs and caters to them. Only complaint is the room gets kind of hot. Which I think is better than freezing but lowering the ac just a notch would be nice.

Wow just wow, I needed lymphatic drainage massage after surgery and Im just floored by the lovely Danillo.He really has magic hands. After every session: I went home feeling so much better, my swelling gone down, my energy up my body feeling great! Im so happy I gave it a shot! You definitely have a customer for life! I have been to many different Massage places over the years, but Danilo at La Vida in Cypress is flat out the best. If you like a deep tissue massage and prefer strong hands that seek out those hidden spots, then try out La Vida Cypress. The staff and accommodations are excellent. Pleasant waiting room and bottles of cold water.

We had a great experience with our couples massage. The facility was lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. Making an appointment was SO easy. My therapist, Lola, was fabulous! She did a great job. I would highly recommend this location.

Rebecca was very informative and asked me what I wanted to have done and executed a very thorough massage. She really worked hard on my back and legs. This was my first massage and I already booked the next one because I felt great afterward!

I had a great massage, and felt so relaxed........then I went up to the counter to pay. I lost all of my relaxation as the lady behind the register would not run my card and let me leave, without signing up for additional massages. I had to tell her no about 7 or 8 times with her giving me a 5 minute lecture in between each no. I finally had to stop being polite and firmly say I would not schedule anymore massages. Instead of feeling relaxed I left feeling annoying and tense from the transaction. I get that subscriptions are part of their business model, but be willing to accept the answer no.

Ive gone twice in the past 3 months. Both times, Ive had Mark. He is very, nice, friendly and listens to his clients. The tables are nice and warm and the room is nice and relaxing. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and sweet. I saw a review saying that they have signs up for tip suggestions., Ive never seen one there, in fact, I always ask the front desk ladies how much they think is a good tip.

I had a great experience when I visited recently for a massage and a facial.. the front desk staff were very pleasant and efficient in checking me in & getting me to my massage, Dr. Danielo is a phenomenal masseuse. I have been going here every month for the last 8 months or so, and have always had a great experience. Amanda is great; friendly and polite, but quiet during the massage, which I love as I dont like to talk while Im trying to relax. Love the warm bed and hot towels and she applies the right amount of pressure. Great job!

I brought my friend - who was a first timer - to this clinic and they were very good at explaining the whole process to her and making her feel very comfortable in a slightly nerve-wracking situation for her. She loved it and wants to go again as soon as possible. both of us felt that the messages were tailored to us and that we were so well taken care of.

Had a 90 minute massage appointment with Janie this morning. I was about 5 minutes early for my appointment and, as a new customer, I was asked to fill out a simple medical history. The front desk receptionist was polite and friendly. Just a few minutes later I was introduce to Janie, my massage therapist. She was cordial and escorted me to her room. The massage table was heated and I was given a few minutes to undress. My session was actually a little over 90 minutes and Janie asked about any problems area. She was able to hold a casual and professional conversation throughout my allotted time. She provided warm towels under my neck and around my feet throughout the service. For anyone that has complained about too soft or too firm pressures being applied, please communicate this to you therapist. Janie gladly changed pressures if needed but saw to it that any tight spots were properly soothed. Upon completion, I was allowed a few minutes to change and met at the door with a bottle of water (that she offered). I will be scheduling another appointment with her in the future.

I have never regretted our decision to sign up with LaVida. The fact that my husband and I are able to share the membership is what sold me. We love the therapists...and especially Danillo and Mary Luz.... Location is clean, private and just a wonderful retreat for when we need to relax.

Ive been a member here for a few years and have seen a whole host of therapists come and go. There have been some decent ones and some horrible ones that did nothing more than rub oil on my skin and even one that suggested I should drink my own urine! This month Ive had Jimmy, who Id never had before. FINALLY a therapist that totally understands the musculoskeletal system and how they all work together. If you have back pain, he works to find the source and does the appropriate body work to repair it. And he not only knows his craft, he shares his knowledge educating the client of exactly what is happening. He also gives you homework of things you can do to help it. He is truly a very rare gem when it comes to bodywork and massages. But, unfortunately, this experience is brought down by the receptionist - Andi. If it werent for her, this would be a 5 star rating. If I could rate her alone, this would be a zero star rating and I would never return. Her customer service skills are non existent from the moment you walk in the door, she is rude and looks at you like you are bothering her when you arrive. Any situation or conflict that arises is a huge issue for her and she has no clue how to find solutions or problem solve. She may be great at some other career, but customer facing positions are not the right ones for her. If it werent for Jimmy, Id be canceling my membership and looking for a new spa.

The inside has a beautiful and peaceful ambiance. I could feel the tranquility. This is my fist time there. I came because I got a massage gift card from a friend with a recommendation of requesting for Leon as my massage therapist. The massage experience was absolutely amazing. I wasnt sure what area in the back needs the most work. Leon knew as he massaged my back. I felt very comfortable and relax. His massage technique is just amazing. I am so coming back here again!!!

Danilo was great! I was visiting from Canada and stiff from my flight so I just read all the reviews and everyone was talking about Danilo so I decided to request him - not disappointed. He knows his anatomy and biomechanics and actually read the form I filled out (Ive seen many RMTs that dont...), and adjusted his pressure based on how tight my muscles were. Great therapist!

Let me begin by saying I hate writing negative reviews, but sometimes it’s just necessary. I was so excited about trying this place because it’s so highly rated, but our experience sucked. The customer service was sub par from the girl at the front desk to the masseuse. There were moments I actually relaxed but they were always short lived. It was so apparent my therapist wasn’t into doing my massage so I tried not to take it personally and just review her skill set, and it was basic at best. I tried giving feedback to the girl at the front desk but she could’ve cared less herself 😂. Either way, we won’t be back so no need for a follow up email or call. Do better for future new customers.

I have had outstanding service every time I have been here! Tracy has been my go to therapist and takes excellent care of me. She has listened and paid great detail to my problem areas. I have also had a peel with Stephanie. She done an outstanding job also. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I will continue to return here

I’ve been a member here for many years. I don’t think they have enough therapists that can do deep tissue. If you like the feeling of kittens walking on your back then this is your place. The last five times I have called to try to get a deep tissue massage they have said they have no availability for that day or the next day. I’m giving up on this place.

I got a prenatal massage from Amanda and she did SPECTACULAR! She used such care in every part of the massage being sure to focus on the areas that get really worn down during pregnancy (back, hips, etc.) Highly recommend this place! Thank you Amanda!

I had a very relaxing time at LaVida, I went in with back pain that was able to be relieved which has not returned in these last two weeks, so glad I came here, would highly recommend. The atmosphere was very calming and the staff was very polite and patient.

Me and my husband went in for a couples massage on valentines day weekend, from scheduling the appointment to the actually appointment day, everyone was beyond friendly and professional! I had a nice experience for the most part but I was there paying for daughter to have her first massage. My daughter needed to attempt massage therapy for a neck injury, she did not get a full body massage, the woman could have talked as she was doing the massage, her arms were never treated, her back was someone lightly rubbin it and briefly the rest did not improve as it was completed.

We received a couples massage gift card. We asked for a deep massage but received a Swedish massage. The ladies was nice but we won’t return it seems that more training is needed to give the type of massages that are requested.

The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Neces was my masseuse. She took excellent care of me and even gave me advice on what stretches I can to help improve my physical health. Ill be coming back very soon.

Inez and Danillo are very skilled with releasing muscle tension and listening to what I need. I don’t seek a massage for relaxation. I get a massage to workout painful issues, to recover from a hard workout, and to address back pain from scoliosis.
