Massage Envy

I wish the experience at this location was better. When being called to the back, the therapist let the door close and the front desk had to open it. I was offered water by my previous therapist Alma, but this therapist seemed in a hurry. The massage itself felt rushed and uncomfortable, like my skin was being rubbed too fast. I normally leave feeling rested, but this time I did not. The room and oil were cold, which added to the discomfort. I understand that all therapists are different, but given the price of the massages, I believe additional training is necessary. The front desk staff was great, but I feel my therapist lacked compassion and effort.

Lorene was perfect. From her glowing smile when she first approached me . To the min questions asked during the session. The medium pressure was just right she hit all the focus pressure points I needed taken care of. She is the best and I will be back. Also shout out to the manager Becky. She is very sweet and helpful and has wonderful customer service. This is a wonderful location. I promise I will be back

Lorene did a great job !!! The massage felt totally professional! I was comfortable at all times, my body felt better for it and I would recommend it. Lorene gave me a medium firm massage on the neck ,shoulder, back, thighs, legs, and feet. I feel brand new had a lot of tension build up highly recommend Message Envy.

Patrick is awesome. Literally the best massage I’ve ever had before. I wasn’t sure how comfortable I would be with a man BUT I’m so glad I just did it. If you like deep tissue Patrick is exceptional.

This a very shame and pathetic place . The receptionists are racist . I booked through the phone and confirmed with them. When I arrived they acted like Im invisible and not welcome. Im not sure, if its becuase of the color of my skin or the way I address that did not impress them . DO NOT GO TO HIS PLACE ... not welcoming place at all.

Alma is amazing!!! She focuses on the areas of concern that you discuss at the beginning of the appointment. She is considerate and conscious of pressure, asking throughout the session to ensure you’re comfortable. I feel like a new person when I leave ME after my session with Alma! .

Yolanda is fabulous! If I need help with achy muscles, she’ll get deep and work on releasing the tension. If I just want to relax, she’ll give a nice, easy massage. She listens well and always exceeds expectations.

I’ve been seeing Patrick for years now. He is so professional and attentive to my body and my needs. I always leave feeling much better and know that I’ve made a good choice for my body. I have never felt more safe and more nurtured than when I make time to see him. I highly recommend Patrick due to his professionalism and expertise.

Toshia is absolutely the best! She is careful to always ask if there are any areas of focus and then gives her full effort to your overall wellness. She’s a huge part of my ability to stay well and feeling great.

Jessica is very nice & easy to talk to. I can tell she is very knowledgable on skincare and cares about the condition of your skin at each visit. She listens to my concerns and together we cameup with a plan to reach my skincare goal. It will take awhile but she has encouraged me to stay patient with the plan and I cant wait to see the results.

Upon arrival I was greeted by all staff, employees were very friendly. It was my first visit so a staff member walked me through the process. Although I arrived 15 minutes early, finished all paperwork prior to the appointment, the massage therapist didn’t call be back until 10 mins after my appointment time. Once in the room she talked for about 3 minutes, she walked out the room for me to change, she was gone another 5 minutes. The massage didn’t start until 20/25 minutes after my appointment. However, she ended the session exactly at the next hour. I paid for a 60 minute massage but only received about 30/35 minutes. For the cost, I didn’t appreciate arriving early, as requested, and not receiving a massage for the time paid for.

Had wonderful massage yesterday with Neda. I have been seeing her for a few months and the massages have been perfect. She applies the right amount of pressure and spends time working out my muscle tension in neck & shoulders. She is the best.

Had the best facial with Khadija, she makes it an experience and I look forward to another one, thank you so much!

The massage was just average. Her hands were ice cold. My massage lasted 45 minutes. I pay for 60 minutes, then you deduct 10 minutes for getting undressed and dressed. So I definitely expect my full 50 minutes. 5 minutes lost may not seem like much to some but it’s what I paid for. Just like full payment is expected, full service should be also.

Jessica is always the best!!!! I love her she is very good at what she does, very calm, gentle, and when you’re with her you feel very relaxed and rejuvenated. You feel and see that glow after your treatment. Jessica simply the BEST!!!! Love her.

Veronica has the memory of an elephant…remembers everything I shared about my health, varicose veins, pain points and not once has hurt me during treatment. She pays attention to detail and checks on me with a soft voice during the session. What a great spirit she walks with. Alma listens my suggestions on where I had pain. She went over the area severals times it really made a difference.The person at the desk noticed I have lots of massages to use. She recommended it add 30 mins. That extra time was really great. I think will continue with 90 min sessions. Also, I will be scheduling facial as I have never had one in my 63 years.

Toshia is an excellent therapist for firm pressure/tension relief!I’ve also had Jessica for a couple facials and she is great as well!

As always, everyone is so friendly and your facilities so clean. Not to mention the best therapists in Houston! I love my ME folks.

**update. They redeemed them themselves by offering a massage by a more experienced woman**I usually go to the Tomball location, but my schedule conflicted.Jose was not good! I went in thinking it would be good to have a male, with firm pressure. But it was the worst one yet!! I got the impression that he didnt want to be there, I was his first appt of the day. Im not sure if he was falling asleep, but he was rubbing in one spot the entire time. Im in so much pain today from that!! I started on my stomach and that was nothing special, he was just rubbing to justify it as a massage though it was the bare minimum of that. My son who is 12 does a much better job than a trained professional did.I hope hes not like this all the time. Please dont allow him to give massages, he needs to be evaluated!!I have a lot of knots in my back from having a desk job all my life and today I feel like Im in worse shape than when I went in. I will never be back to the Cypress location ever again, Ill drive the extra miles to Tomball where I know Ill be treated well and get my hard-earned moneys worth!! I didnt get it this time! It was such a waste!! I should have canceled!!

Patrick is the best massage therapist there is. True professional who’s mastered his craft over the past decade & a half as a therapist!

Michelle is the best! She can actually get me to relax, unclench my jaw, and relax my shoulders. As someone who is always in a state of tension, my sessions with her are a life saver. My sleep has improved, neck isn’t always sore and my tension headaches are becoming infrequent. Thank you, Michelle!

Patrick is one of the best deep tissue massage therapist anyone could want. Ive been with him and Cypress location for a very long time. Hes consistent and highly recommended...except for my monthly appointment time, of course, hah!.

After I finished treatment for breast cancer I began to look for a knowledgeable masseuse and found Neda. Her hands are magic, strong and gentle at the same time. She is intuitive, and very knowledgeable about the body, specifically the lymphatic system. I see her weekly, and just had my first facial with her was also wonderful. My pain has decreased significantly in my neck and shoulder areas. Very grateful to have Neda as a part of my healing journey.

Yolanda was my massage therapist and she was amazing, she listened to all my trouble areas and focused on them to the fullest. I left feeling so much relief and I haven’t been able to feel that after a massage in a while! I will be back for Yolanda she is the best!

I started out concerned because the previous appt ran long. My appt didn’t start until over 15 minutes past my scheduled time. BUT, the massage therapist gave me my full 1 hour massage and she was fantastic! Pressure was great! I would definitely recommend her.

Alma was amazing. Solved my issues in one appointment while I was on vacation in Houston. Targeted exactly the areas I needed work on and intuitively figured out what to do. Perfect firm pressure. And very personable but extremely professional! Thank you, so much.

Looking at all of the recent reviews, I hate to say that my experience with Jose was the worst massage ever. I requested a male, hoping that I would get firm pressure, but that was far from the case. There was no technique, rhyme, or reason with how he was massaging or excessively using the massaging oil/ lotion. Ive never cringed so much. He did ask about the pressure in the beginning, increased pressure for about a minute, and went back to no pressure. I kept hoping that it would improve. At the end, he simply stated the time and walked out. He didnt ask how it was or state the session was over.

Veronica was great. Very nice and right to the point. She took her time and i could tell she knew which parts were bothering me based on my massage. I definitely recommend her!

Khadija is the most talented esthetician I’ve ever worked with. Her technique, consistency, natural talent and knowledge is incredible! She takes my skin and makes it look amazing every time I’m with her. As someone who struggles with rosacea, adult acne, large pores and combination skin, I 100% trust her to take the best care of my skin possible!

Besides coming 10 mins before the start time and then ending up not starting till 10 mins AFTER my start time kind of made me annoyed and frustrated. But then Veronica did amazing at focusing on the concerning areas and still had plenty of time visiting other areas that needed attention. Great firm pressure.

Massage Envy Cypress location is great! I love getting facials done once a month with Jessica and massage every three weeks with Alma! They are very courteous and great at their job!

You shouldnt charge someone for an entire service if due to an emergency her babysitter canceled and I confirmed a reschedule the following day. A flat cancellation fee of courtesy for a first time customer would have been the appropriate business practice.

Called here needed a deep tissue massage for my back. None available until tomorrow by a woman. However I was willing to settle for a medium pressure massage as they said it would be $150. I hung up the phone. Used to think this was the best place to go, however, now I wouldnt touch this establishment with a 10 foot pole.

Very nice therapist but he talks wayyyyyyyy too much and is too opinionated. I have a lot of history so I wanted my therapist to get a good overview and pay close attention to my problem areas. Well I suppose he took that as me wanting to converse through the whole 90 minutes of my massage! I dont like treating people cruelly so I just listened because he cut me off if I did try to comment. Also, there were a few inflammatory comments that were quite offensive but I took the high road. He did work out some of my knots but he completely forgot to focus on the areas of which I stated to him were the most bothersome. I checked out without saying anything because like I said, Id prefer to take the high road. I just dont ever want to run into him again. I mean, I felt like I was in a counseling therapy session where I was to play the therapist. I got to hear very personal things about his life that I didnt want to hear. For the few kinks he worked out, he just sprinkled more stress on top of my big heaping pile! I left a bit more stressed than when I arrived and paid handsomely for it!I am updating my review because the owner contacted me personally after seeing this review and quickly offered a resolution. Stacy cares about her clients! Stacy, the owner, was so east to deal with. Once I sent an email of my personal grievances in a little more detail and described my areas of pain, she quickly suggested another therapist to suit my specific needs. I must say now that I’ve found the right therapist, it completely changes my review of the place but I believe in candor. I am now a regular client because my current therapist gives me great relief from my physical ailments and she doesn’t talk my head off. It’s a relaxing and awesome experience now, so much so that massages here are a part of my wellness plan. Again I can’t express how grateful I am that the owner genuinely cares. We were able to quickly move past my grievances to a resolution and I got a credit for another session. Reviews such as these are important not only for the clients but for the businesses. I love that Stacy didn’t try to make any excuses. Like I stated earlier, there was a genuine caring response to my original review that led to a great resolution. I hate to name the said therapist whom I didn’t care for because he may be great for someone else. He just didn’t satisfy my needs. I’m more focused on the resolution that I’ve found the therapist who perfectly targets my areas of pain.

First ever deep tissue massage...PAINFULL but she explIained every step and the results were worth it. Great experience. Fantastic staff

Albert is my favorite massage therapist out of all of the Massage Envy locations Ive visited. Hes very attentive to all of your individual needs.The membership is a bit pricey but definitely worth buying if you plan on coming in regularly.

I am a chiropractic newbie and I went for treatment on a leap of faith.Today was my second visit and I believe I felt improvement. While it is too early to tell if todays visit was also beneficial I will say that last night, the night in between, my two visits was the 1st night in a long while that Ive been able to sleep through the entire night.I will report again after a few more visits!

Great service but stopping forcing to tip high amounts theres only soo much people can afford be grateful they joined, also please note if you buy a product from massage envy it can be returned with receipt this is something this branch never told me and I got stuck with several expensive products they push expensive products on you without telling u details

The best massage in a long time!!I just finished up a 1.5 hour massage with Nohemi at the Cypress location. She always does a fantastic job. I like a strong/deep massage and only a few therapists can deliver. I will continue to book my massages with Nohemi!!

Location near 290 and Skinner. Professional and knowledgeable massage therapists. Membership is good if you use it. I ended up losing out on 5 massages because I didnt use them within 60 days of my membership cancellation. 😕

Every time I try to set up an appointment they say they are booked (but doesnt even feel like the look they say no so fast). So, unless you know your schedule months in advance, dont bother. Plus, they arent open on Sundays.

They will charge you extra and say the website is wrong and then condescend and be rude to you. Apparently if your a member they get to charge you extra for everything! It’s supposed to be the opposite! Manager is rude and horrible to deal with unhelpful and so much attitude. Good luck if you go here.
