Always a welcoming place. There is only a handful of quality massage therapists that have great techniques, other therapists, from what I gathered are hired directly out of school so they dont have as much experience especially when it comes to massage techniques to help alleviate pain through pressure points and stretching. If you decide to avail of their membership, try and look for a good therapist first before committing to their monthly fees because its hard to cancel. Lately, a call center outside of the U.S. was hired to do appointments and because theyre not in the location of where youre calling at, the schedule sometimes gets mixed up and the operators are hard to understanding when I book for a massage...thats if there is an available slot which means that youd have to call weeks in advance to avail of the date, time and therapist that youd like. Very inconvenient to say the least.
Been coming to Cypress Massage Envy for years. And without notice, and AFTER my service, they tell me I have to pay a mandatory market fee of $20 on top of using a banked service because I signed up at the Huntington Beach store, meaning Im out of the area. They say this is outlined in my contract which I signed up like 12 years ago and this is the first time EVER this has been brought up. If in fact it is in my contract from 12 years ago, they have set a precedent, by not up charging me. Utterly ridiculous and extremely poor customer service. Who does that, changes the price AFTER service has been provided. The gal tells me they dont tell us when we book our appointment and its mandatory and I HAVE to pay. I told her if she charges my card I will dispute it with the credit card company. What a bunch of knuckleheads. And too bad for the therapists. I will never return to Massage Envy Cypress again.
I booked an appointment a month ago for me and my husband at Massage Envy in Cypress to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. When we showed up they told us they only had an appointment for me. I am so disappointed in Massage Envy for not giving me a call regarding my appointment. We were expecting to celebrate our anniversary with a couples massage. I will be canceling my membership as soon as possible and once I cancel I will not be returning to this location.
I don’t do massages, but I love facials. This was my first time at a Massage Envy and Shannon was awesome. My skin feels amazing and she was so sweet. Even incorporated a little neck massage into our facial session. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because my appointment was at 5 and I wasn’t called back until about 510-515. Other than that, very satisfied with what I received. They cut the cost by $30 since I was a first timer, which I didn’t know, so that was also a huge plus!! Already scheduled my next appointment!
Stephanie is awesome and always works out my kinks and knots. I come on a regular basis just to keep from getting too tight. The front office staff is nice but ever changing. It would be nice to see the same employees up front so Im not sure what the story is with that. I highly recommend Stephanie for a nice relaxing massage.
Annoyed that I had to pay out of pocket after I was told they accepted Spa Finder gift cards when I called to book the appointment. I specifically mentioned the gift cards two times.And the massage wasnt a full body massage. I asked that that one specific area get extra attention but I didnt get 75% of a full body massage and it wasnt a full hour. It lasted about 40 minutes, I checked the start and end times.
Love Gladys! My first visit, of course, is a little difficult not knowing what the procedure is. But the desk and Gladys promised I would get the full 50 minutes of massage and not just waste my time or waste my money. Clean, serene and fresh clean sheets make a difference. Soft music essential and Gladys answered my questions and just let me rest. I felt comfortable telling her she could use more pressure or what felt the best. It was a very nice massage from head to toes.
Great location. Chelsea at the front desk was extremely helpful and professional! She followed Covid protocols and made me feel very safe. Made the experience 10 times better! Will definitely be going back!
My first time here, to any massage envy. Wonderful place! Very friendly staff. Massage was perfect, most relaxed Ive been in years! Nice music, just right comfort with everything, all my stress melted away. Highly recommend!!!
Great massages, might think twice before signing up for the year. You have to use them all or you lose them if you cancel your subscription. Now I have a bunch of massages Ive paid for but havent been able to make time to go yet I cant cancel with out losing lost of money worth of massages
First massage here was out of this world. Second time I asked for deep/sports massage and was assured this therapist would be able to do it. Basically was caressed and pet the whole time. Asked multiple times during the session for him to rub harder and just never met the mark. Disappointed that we paid for something I really didnt enjoy. There isnt a satisfaction guarantee either.
Do not come here! Not the first, not the second time, not ever!! Management is a complete joke, manager thinks she is as important as the president of the US. I requested multiple times to speak to the manager over the last 2 weeks and requested to cancel an account via written request, and to this day they havent canceled the account and continue to draft my credit card. Its a joke, Jenicca or whatever is her name does not and cannot manage this location, shes way in over her head. Oh and the receptionists, incompetent, unprofessional, rude, and thats just the tip of the iceberg, I know that its not all of them but they do confront the customers as if they were waking out of the dollar store without paying. What a joke. never will I ever spend a dime on this gross company. I am disgusted at the way they conduct business here. People dont get ripped off here look elsewhere.
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE PLEASE READI AM A CUSTOMER AND A MEMBER OF THIS FACILITY:Theres an incident that happen during my experience as a customer, the first time I went was back in nov 2012, the receptionist became very pushy about a savings program called Our Membership I paid the for the first visit cash of $49.00 then the second I did not get the program I paid $98.00 then the third visit I became a member so I paid $59.00 cash then the receptionist requested my debit card to be on file for this membership program she said that each month my debit card will be deducting $59.00 and if I do not use the message in a month or month(s) I will be credited the $59.00 with my bank account . After that I didn’t even go anymore I tried Debra, Trina, and another therapist I for got his name, I asked to remove pain and give me relief on my back, my foot and even my neck. I kept trying different therapists there, I gave Debra a chance of 3 times to fix the problem I had from a fall I hadIm 30 years I shouldnt have to be in the same pain when I started this facility. I got worse, Debra and Trina and that other guy should retire there hands are worthless. they don’t hire well trained people here they hire student that just got off from school who completed their hours not their performance. its safer to go to a chiropractor and get a adjustment and a deep tissue message. there are many that you can trust and not have a contract with. so I stopped going to spa envy. the receptionist calls you every 3 weeks to schedule an appt and I still didn’t want to return to this facility. because I had the receptionist explain to me about the contract with spa envy as a memberI trusted this establishment not to take out any monies out of my bank account if I dont use thier services. I was suppose to get back the money of $59.00 each month since January 2013 . I notice on my online banking that this amount kept on removing from my bank account. therefore I called the manager Ashley and requested her to fix this and put the money bank into my bank account.(Ashley ) her reply was its in the contract you signed. I said I didnt know that your colleagues there told me that I would be reimbursed of all the money not used in this membership. Ashley replied Im sorry but that is incorrect then she said if you want to cancel your membership you have to buy yourself out I, said what is buy yourself out why? she kept repeating herself so I cancelled my member ship she said I would have to pay off my contract or it will go to a collection agency they use all the time and I will be forced to pay off the remaining balance of this membershipI was shocked and appalled at her answer. I am very angry with this manager and the receptionists that lie to me. face to face just lie to get numbers of how many memberships they sold in a month. beware reader please be careful not to even think about signing a cricked contract of lies with Spa envy. Ashley can play nasty with a member so watch out! they are only after numbers and lie to people. dont get a contract and don’t recommend your loved ones to a facility of unprofessional staff. spa envy owes me $295.00 this facility is not trustworthy, Ashley is the worst offender of them all she was unprofessional and rude. if I was the owner of this establishment I would of fired Ashley for being cricked misinforming clients. instead of resolving and listening to the customers concerns.Im going to dispute this with their corporate office to get my reimbursement like they promised me in the first place. or I wouldnt of signed the contract. if anyone is in the same spot and dealt with Ashley do the same dispute it its your money not theirs. if you dont get service you shouldnt have to pay to fatten the staff. dont let them fool you, their therapist are not any good
I bought a 3 month membership and forgot it expires at the end of June. I was so thankful to receive a reminder call from them at the beginning of June to redeem services before my membership expires. Btw, facial from Summer was wonderful!
Mel was amazing . 1 hour felt like 1 1/2 hours . He was gentle yet strong . Very nice . I would highly recommended Mel .Dimond was great as well she did my facal . I feel like a million buck .:) Thanks again
The ladies at the front desk are simply marvelous. The place is very clean. I have been to other massage envy’s and this one continues to be my favorite.
Ive never had a issue with a masseuse. But Ive had issues with conflicting information from the receptionist multiple times now. Quite frustrating. I suggest getting your questions answered by email so you can have evidence of what is being said

I’ve scheduled appointments for my husband and I and on arrival there different times than we’re scheduled and need to be rescheduled. I hate this place and have never even been treated.
