Kilo is great for designs and shape! He was attentive and quick. You can always tell a good nail artist by the questions they ask. Everything I asked for he executed to perfection.Mimi is great as well for pedicures. This is my new place to go for all my needs!

Onyx nail bar is the best! I love coming here the staff is so nice, they do an amazing job with my manicure everytime. I always have the perfect nail shape (which I’m very picky about). They do any design I ask them to do! Definitely recommend this place! ❤️ Alice and Ryan are the best!

Decided to try out a new salon this last weekend. Upon entering, I was greeted by a gentleman. He asked what services I wanted done and handed me a menu. The salon I think is still new, just made one year. It is very spacious with plenty of pedicure chairs. There is also a very stocked bar. Which I love!I chose the lavender and honey pedicure with gel. My feet has been very dry and rough. For a couple of weeks I’ve been using a cream to help get it back to what it used to be. So this pedicure was very much needed! Athena was my tech and she was very very sweet. Very shy, and made sure you were okay the entire process. She did a great job on my pedicure, took her time, and gave me a very relaxing foot massage. It’s been forever since my feet feel this soft. The last time I got a pedicure at another salon it was so so and my feet was not soft. I would recommend coming here and I will be back.

Cammy did an amazing job! I showed a photo of something similar I wanted with some minor changes and she NAILED it. (Pun intended). Excited to go back for another fun design. For reference I had an acrylic set with gel design

I am new to the area and this is the first nail salon I have been to since moving. I intentionally waited 2 weeks after my to review because I wanted to see how well they lasted. I was extremely happy the first day I had them done. But they did not last long at all. The very next day one nail chipped. By the end of the week they were all cracked and chipped. I did still give 3 stars though because they were professional and clean. I would go back and try a different nail tech. Pics are after a week and a half.

First time visiting. It’s was pretty, but metallic started chipping off immediately.. ok, but the chunks of the dip, started snagging then my actual nail. My natural nail ruined and short to almost the bed on the corners- as a busy professional finally had to go back to show them. They’re answer? We’ll fix for 10% off. Seriously? It was 10% off the first time? Hmm“Well it’s been 2 weeks it happens over time”- So BEWARE … your nails will snag and chip and look like this in 2 weeks and this is “normal”. I refused bc obviously it’s the product they use. I have NEVER had Dip do this no matter WHERE I went.Avoid, unless you like your nails chipping and have time to do every week.

This is my absolute favourite nail salon in Dallas. I recently visited and Ryan did an amazing job with my dip powder and cat eye nails, showcasing his meticulous attention to detail. Atena provided an awesome pedicure, making it a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Additionally, Jennifers great management ensured everything ran smoothly during my visit. I highly recommend this nail bar for anyone looking for top-notch nail care!

Vivian has been my go to for almost 3 years! I followed her when she moved locations because I haven’t found anyone else that does such a great job. My nails will go 3+ weeks before needing to come back. She delivers the best service and is very personable and professional. I send all my people to her! can’t recommend enough !

My absolute favorite salon. Vivian is truly the best nail tech i’ve ever gone too. They’re beautiful every single time she does them and last 6+ weeks. She’s also so sweet so you feel like you’re hanging out with a friend the whole time. You’re missing out if you aren’t requesting her.

When I’m paying $70 pre-tip for basic dip + tips, I at LEAST expect the nails to be straight and well-filed. This is worse than my last $40 dip manicure. I told the manicurist several times they weren’t straight when they were still in the stage where it could have been fixed, but she didn’t seem to understand. Thought I’d try a new, pricier place since I was disappointed by my last salon, but now I’m once again embarrassed by crooked, cheap-looking nails. One of them already has an internal crack going through it and I’ve only had them for an hour. I’d give only 1 star, but the people at the front were super nice. Go somewhere else!!!

This place was absolutely amazing! One of the best experiences Ive had at a nail salon. The space is large, nicely decorated, clean and inviting. The front desk attendants were very kind and professional. Alice my nail tech was one of the kindest people Ive ever met. I expressed to her that I was feeling some anxiety about having nail extensions, as I havent had any in over 12 years and I had not had any nail services in over a year due to a more than painful experience. She was so patient and explained the entire process to me, she checked in on how I was feeling throughout the entire process and if I didnt like something she would accommodate me without an issue. I am so happy with the way my nails turned out and I experienced no pain. Will did my pedicure and I couldnt be happier with the results. He also gave me the best foot massage with the package I purchased. He was also very kind and has a big personality. Everyone in the salon was so friendly, the bartender was even really cool as well. I dont live in Dallas but if I did, I would be here and ONLY here.

I’ve been to Onyx nail bar twice already and each experience I’ve had has been amazing !!! My nail tech Vivian has always put her best foot forward and given me exactly what I wanted and I’m always satisfied when I leave ! She’s very professional and detailed and always trys her best at pleasing me !!! I’ve referred my coworker/friends to her and they love her as well !!! 10/10 recommend seeing Vivian. Absolutely love the environment and I never leave regretting the finished look ! ❤️

They are very friendly and inviting. They serve great drinks in glasses and music was calming. I will return it’s finally spring. Time for fun colors.UPDATE: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TICKET !!!Although, they do have great service. They over charged me twice. The first time I was charged for gel and I received a regular polish. I returned and had the gel polish applied. Today they charged me for long nails and well you see the photo. I’m convinced this is part of their daily practice. But it’s unethical. So just on principle I’m changing my review and will not be returning.

My experience here was 10/10. i came in nervous with a detailed nail design and left fabulous and within 2 hours AT THAT. when u get a mani/pedi u receive 2 free drinks that they’ll kindly and dutifully remind you to use. i will say it is a bit pricey, i got medium acrylics with a gel design and it was 110$ but in my opinion worth it, especially if the nails last which i expect considering my nail tech (KYLO) took great care in handling my nails. my experience with onyx nails was very comfortable, hospitable, and for the most part, sophisticated.

I have been here several times for my design nails. I came to many nail salons but they are not like Onyx Galleria. Every set I got from them are always last long and never break. If you like design then go for Alice or Ryan, they are both good with acrylic set and design. Love love this place. They also have very nice pedicures too. Staffs are friendly and personable 💕

I will not be returning again this is my 2nd time going and 2nd time being disappointed. The only reason why I have gone is because it is near my house and I loved the onyx Dallas location, but the onyx galleria is not the same. I will not be returning I can not keep wasting money. My toes look like this leaving smh

I have never been to this place before but decided to stop by here last minute to get a pedicure for my beach vacation. Service was good, everyone was nice, but the quality of the nail tech’s work was not good at all. She cut my right big toenail so crooked and was going to leave it like that. I don’t think she noticed how bad it looked, but it looked terrible. It didn’t match my left big toe nail shape at all. I had to have her fix it twice, and it still looked bad. I ended up having to reshape it myself. I didn’t even bother reshaping my left side because at that point I was ready to go. After all that it still didn’t match my other toe. I don’t even think she clipped my last two toe nails on either foot. On top of that, she missed a part of my toenail when she was painting them! My middle toe in the left is partly painted and the bottom part was missed. I’m pretty sure I’ll just stick to my usual nail salon by my house. Overall, the place was clean, everyone was friendly, but the nail tech was not good.

Ive been to Onyx Nail Bar several times, and the service is consistently excellent. Pat did an amazing job on my nails, and they turned out beautifully. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I appreciate the great brow services. The drinks, especially the espresso, are a delightful addition to the experience. This is by far the best nail experience I’ve had in Dallas. If you’re looking for relaxation, this is the place to be. My mother and I walked in without an appointment, there was no wait time and were treated like royalty! Jennifer was the best! I will be asking for her next time. I had a wonderful experience at Onyx. I got a classic pedicure and a dip manicure. Kylo did an excellent job with my manicure. He made sure it was the exact length and shape I wanted and that my nails were all even! I’m a little OCD about that lol. He took his time to make sure they were perfect and didn’t rush. On top of that, he’s super sweet! I’ll definitely be back and will be requesting him again! I wish I asked the technician’s name that did my pedicure because she was great as well!

The location is across the street from the galleria where I work so it’s a great location for me. Did dip with chrome and white she was extremely detailed with shaping and cuticle area and layered the chrome on very evenly, one of the nails had a bad dip on the apex and and broke within a few days. i came back and the manager fixed the nail for me and another nail that was shorter than the other but I noticed in the car that one of the nails still has a little dip in it. Weird because this has never been an Issue I’ve experienced in a salon and it happened twice. Cant be bothered to go again lol. Nice quiet atmosphere and the salon smelled way less like acrylic than other salons. However I probably won’t be back because I’m particular about my nail shape and smoothness

SO excited to have Onyx Nail Bar walking distance from me! I got my nails done here a few days ago and Bella did an exceptional job on my nails AND she was quick!The salon is beautifully designed and they have tons of stations to accommodate larger groups.My favorite part of the salon is their bar! This is not the typical nail salon that offers beer/wine when you visit. They have an actual cocktail menu with a fun list of options. I got their lychee cocktail and LOVED it! The best part? They serve their drinks in real glasses. Such a nice touch in my opinion.Super excited to become a regular here!

Not that great of an experience. I called ahead before walking in to make sure that there was availability since I didn’t have an appointment and it was an hour before close. The person on the phone said yes, so I arrived there by 6:05pm. However, Gigi, the lady who did my nails, kept mentioning the fact that I arrived late and it seemed like she was trying to make me feel bad about the time that I arrived. The shop closed at 7 that day. She finished my nails by 7:01 and I left by 7:04, so I don’t understand what the big deal was. And if it were such a big deal, why would you tell me that there’s still availability for walk ins whenever I called ahead? The quality of my nails seemed rushed and unfinished, from the consistency of the shape I got (almond) to the area under my nails that would normally be filed and smoothed out (which was not). If I ever did go back, I would definitely go with another nail tech. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because literally everyone else was nice to me except the person who did my nails.

You do get what you pay for, they have complimentary soft drinks & alcohol🍷 a little strong so drink at your own risk. Cosmo pictured, atleast mine was a little steong. My nail tech was very sweet, please ask for Niki if you go on a Sunday or Monday. Very attentive and didnt have a long wait if you call ahead for a same day appointment. Got two services at once, so while my pedicurist was working simultaneously so was the nail tech but they were both very positive and upbeat. Whole crew here had wonderful energy so I will be attending again. They have earned my continued business!!! 💅🏽 *Do keep in mind they charge $5 if you have natural SHORT nails so they add a nail tip + $5 & $5 extra for pre-existing polish removal which I was glad I read before since they didnt mention before, during, or even after service at checkout.*

Top notch experience!! My nails look amazing (natural nails with regular polish), and the whole staff was attentive and kind. One of the best nail salon experiences I’ve ever had in Dallas. Jennifer, the manager, is so personable and is on top of everything, and her husband Hiep was great to chat with as he whipped up delicious cocktails and took care of all the details around the salon. Stopped in to get a mani and pedi after shopping at the galleria mall. It was very clean and I loved the modern decor and pretty bar. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have so many cute colors to choose from and they served me a complimentary drink while getting pampered! Gonna start coming here regularly cause I love how convenient the location is.

Horrible. These people are dumb and blind. Had to correct the shape multiple times on my toes. Still not satisfied. Almost bled from the aggressive filing on my fingers. Then I tried to correct the nail tech Pat on the shape I wanted for my full set and he decided he no longer wanted to do nails and I was sent out with only tips on my nails. Would not recommend and wont be back!

A few days ago I came in for a regular dip manicure, I had wanted a white frenchie with the chrome over it. I had my natural nail grown out and had let them know prior to the removal process of my last set. After she began the new set she started to cut all of my nails and asked if I wanted tips. Although I had let her know before the service that I wanted to keep my fairly long natural nails that were healthy enough for the acrylic, I can understand mistakes happen. Proceeding with the service the nail tech had left the acrylic uneven and my nail beds are extremely thick as there is too much product. I understand this is their job and they are trained for this service, but paying $120 before tip for a set that had looked nothing like the picture I will not be coming back. I would not be opposed to a high price for something that was achieved correctly but for this service and cutting my natural nails added to the total that I did not plan for.

I LOVE onyx nail bar. I have been going for months and the experience and atmosphere is the same everytime. Jo always does my nails to perfection and Jennifer is so nice and welcoming. Actually, the entire staff is nice and creates a positive experience. I highly recommend this place!

Onyx nail bar has luxurious modern and very clean. Jo was my nail lady and she did a ready great job and was very friendly. Jo also does eyelash extensions and she did my lash extensions was professional, kind, and patient. I will come back for the next time and put it on my favorite list. They have cocktail menu and the cocktails were made at the same quality as a high-end bar.

I found my new favorite nail salon! Everyone is respectful and professional. The salon is clean and spacious. The owner Jennifer cares about every customer, will check to make sure you are doing ok, and even remembered me from last time. Beautiful salon with beautiful people.

I’m not sure if it was an off day for this particular person. Maybe she was tired and wanted to go home but the entire pedicure was NOT IT. She should wear an apron because she was more concerned about things getting on her clothes than the pedicure itself. The massage portion? Terrible. I didn’t like this service at all.

Awful experience today. Have been before and this was not what I am used to. Not offered drinks, had to ask. Pedicure finished and staff said nothing, left me sitting there. Went to put shoes on, toe got messed up. Asked staff for help with second one, they bumped that toe. Then tried to paint over it, polish was so thick it was dripping off. Asked for it to be re done. Painted second time, staff was fanning it, hit toe and messed it up again. Had to be painted a third time. Was never offered water or a second drink. Was never asked how the water was for the pedicure. Had to ask two separate times for it be hotter. Had brought a new friend bc previously loved this place. I do not think either of us will return ever again!

I have gone to this salon twice, and will not be back. I went in recently to get a mani pedi and the girl at the counter kept trying to upsell me into gel for my toes, then suggested a more expensive pedicure when I stated that I just wanted a basic one. I get wanting to upsell, but it was overkill.The girl who did my nails was super sweet, but I like them short. I told her this a couple of times, but they were still too long. I went in today to see if I could get them filed down and they said that the girl who did them was out, so they would have to charge me. They could see that I just came in, and I spent over $100!The first time the girl butchured my cuticles during my pedicure. It hurt for 2 weeks!I will never come back to this nail salon. They don’t appreciate their customers. I will make the drive to 3311 Nail Bar on Oak Lawn.

I’ve come to this nail salon a few times now (35 min from where I live but still like the service so I made the drive) and came back today to get the same set that I got last time telling her too that this is for my engagement party this morning. She saw the set I had and said she can do the exact same, it took the nail tech took 3 tries to finally get the correct color. When she finished there was still leftover color (gold for reason idk cause I asked for white 😵‍💫) from the previous tries which I asked her to fix. I told her I’m getting henna done in a few hours and wanted help getting all the residue off my fingers since the henna won’t stick. She did not help get it off but started picking at my nails bed and I asked her to stop she continued and made me bleed and then I said I’m done, don’t need anything else and she proceeded to pour cuticle oil on both hands again when she was only working on one hand, made my clearly bleeding finger burn really bad. She said there was so much residue cause my hands were in acetone for so long and I told her my fingers were in acetone longer cause she forgot to take off the top layer for 15 min I said hey this isn’t working cause top layer wasn’t taken off and finally the tech working on my pedicure took it off. Probably a one of situation with that tech but at the end she was unprofessional cause she was getting frustrated that I wasn’t happy with her not the best effort in fixing her mess up. I won’t be coming back to this salon.

I went and got acrylics done yesterday and went to Vivian. She did a decent job on my nails, and she asked me to follow her instagram page to post my birthday nails she had done so I did. At night - hours after I had left the shop she started sending me several DMs while I was out celebrating to come back to the shop and pay for a $25 service she claims she “forgot to add” to my bill. I told her no because that was her own mistake that should have been addressed at the time of service. The service was paid for and she was tipped so the audacity of her to DM me was appalling. She caught a major attitude and blocked me because she was upset, but as tech why are you asking me for money? That’s very unprofessional.Once I informed Jennifer the owner of the shop about the incident she handled it very well, and very professionally which I appreciated. Definitely wouldn’t recommend Vivian but the management is excellent.

PATRONIZING A BUSINESS ON PURPOSE? Soooo, I have been coming here for several monthsss... I knew it was a new shop gave them several chances some experience good some not ( coming back every week for a month to get issues broken, missed aligned nails, paint, peel corrected at one time cause people always looking at making compliments on my nails asking who and where) but nothing like decent costumer service! Very sweet manager friendly and all..... BUT, DIDNT have a polish I wanted ( glow in the dark ) my next trip back still didnt but I had brought the gel polish and top coat gel myself $$$ which they used but charged me like they had it because the same work was completed? IF IM WRONG CALL ME OUT PLEASE DO! But after all the poor nail experiences and deffects and many trips back to repair never once time was discounted even though each time I was advised I would be the next time because the cashier had ring it up before he could be advised differently 💔 😔 so I stop and say why after all Ive been putting up with is this the case. because everyone is on commission? which had nothing to do with me, you didnt have the polish, your nail techsss messed up one even said i didnt know what i was asking hes been doing this too long to take my suggestion on what i wanted ( the paying customer whos been getting her nails done for more than a decade doesnt know what works for the user at a job shes being doing for not than 13 years? Since when? Fact remains your the boss you come out of your pocket you take the loss when its this deep ( monthsss ) just for the record the nail salon should have known how to use the glow polish which still wasnt right the color glows and so does the top coat. So the nail art which you pay for each finger and I bought 6 ( I always get clear didnt know that was additional ) nail didnt show its glow cause they put the top coat on them and the entire nail glows purpose of getting it failed. SO THERES THAT!

Finally found a nail salon that provides high quality services at a reasonable price and is clean! I got dip nails done and they turned out perfectly-not overly thick and look natural!!

Got dip nails done with chrome and they were VERY thorough. As I walked in, the atmosphere was fresh and clean—a very beautiful salon. The person working on me accidentally forgot to do my chrome but caught on fast and fixed it PERFECTLY without a problem. I am extremely satisfied with the service.Only takeaway I have is that the salon is short on techs but it has SO MUCH potential! When I walked by the salon later that night, they were still tending to a customer 90 minutes after the closing time! The dedication! We need to help Onyx hire more nail techs because it is such a great shop with limited help! even with a small amount of techs, they still provide satisfactory quality service! It was worth the 45 minute drive!

This was the most painful pedicure I’ve ever received. The pedicurist cut both of the cuticle beds on each of my big toes. She also scratched the back of my leg with the pumice stone, and soaked me with the hose. I received a basic manicure which was fine but the polish was not applied well. Looks like I did it myself and not salon quality. My husband enjoyed his pedicure. So I guess it just depends on who you get. Overall it’s nice place. I’ve gone to the uptown location before and was excited to try this new location, but didn’t feel like it lived up to the original. Safe to say I was disappointed and in pain. :(

I would highly recommend this business. They consistently offer courteous and professional services in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

I had my nails done last Wednesday but four of them have already come off. Its the second time this has happened. Even though I enjoy coming here and the nails looked beautiful, they just dont seem to last.

My wife and I have been here multiple times and love the experience and service. We just left the Salon and saw that the Manager was a bit stressed, which is abnormal to us because shes always in a happy mood.She told us about a review they received today and the review was irrelevant to the experience and quality of service you would receive at Onyx. My wife and I took a look at it and the review was from an individual who wasnt even a customer, it was just based off pricing.They received a 1 star review from Atalie Uribe, whos review wasnt based off actual experience of the Salon but rather the price being too expensive.There was no consideration by that individual or thought, that maybe the price is based off the quality of the service, product and also environment/atmosphere. My wife and I would rather pay more than sit in a Salon thats old, not maintained and uncomfortable.I personally think Whole Foods is expensive and rather shop at HEB or Kroger. But I dont leave a 1 star review because they are overpriced.Also, being a business owner as well - with inflation impacting costs of inventory, labor and RENT. They have to adjust their prices to survive without impacting their quality of service.CUSTOMERS leaving reviews based on their actual experiences helps ensure businesses to be mindful on maintaining high standards for their service.REVIEWS based off no experience on the establishment or not even being a customer there, makes no sense to me. Its just folks who have no time on their hands and/or offended by pricing? You obviously were attracted to the Salons beautiful aesthetics for you to walk in and look at the pricing.Next time just go to an older Nail Salon or a less aesthetic Nail Salon, these folks put in their life savings to make this Salon beautiful and have to make back their money on that investment.And customers like my wife and I, appreciate the thought they put into the design and upscale atmosphere. So their pricing makes sense to us, we are willing to pay for the experience, as the saying goes you get what you pay for.And btw, this is all love and support for the business owners and constructive criticism. My wife and I want to promote love and happiness amongst all.Also, fyi to all - they have Happy Hour specials/discounts during the weekday. Sending love and light to all.

I have been coming here for months now! Love having a nail salon that’s consistently doing a great job with my nails - dip, gel x, and pedicures. Have recommend to several friends! Great customer service, great selection of colors, and a nice bar in the salon!

Although the staff was nice, however the application of acrylic is horrible, I asked for a simple design of French tip and it was crooked, she left residue on my nails, the shape was crooked horrible experience and definitely not worth the money. Will not be returning!

They did exactly what I asked for literally copy and paste. This was my first time but I will definitely be back.

For the price my nails are damaged..it was filed all the way down to my skin..and they hurt.I cannot put any nails back on till my nails are healed..they also were not filed evenly.Sorry Im never going back...not to mention one of their drink had me in the restroom the entire night at my home...

I’ve been here a couple of times now, the nail experience has been great (Nee, if I got the spelling right, is pretty good). The owner, Jennifer, is really pleasant to talk to. Also, they have some fun coffee!

This was my 2nd and last time coming here. The nail tech was super rude and needs lessons on how to interact with customers. She asked me if I was pregnant and I said no! So she replied oh “it’s okay I have a big belly too.” I promptly told her “I don’t think I have a big belly.” Then she made awkward conversation the entire time and asked me if I’m single then said “oh are you available?” And it was weird. She tried to omit part of my $80 treatment because she said “oh, I figure you won’t want this because your feet look good?” The overall results aren’t to my liking and I was asked about it at the checkout and the rep was expecting me to not like it. I said oh, you know? And she nodded. The person before me appeared to have problems too because they were getting a discount from service. I got nothing - not even a better coat of polish. I really hope the nail tech gets additional training. A peaceful happy afternoon turned downward really fast.

I had a great experience at this location! I’ve been looking for a place to get pedicures as my nail tech doesn’t provide them. The service here was excellent and Nicole listened to my needs. All the employees were nice and they were so kind to me! I will definitely be back and recommend others!

I came back here for the 2nd time and it was not a good experience. The lady that did my nails claimed she didn’t speak English. Any questions I had no one could answer. How do you specialize in nails but couldn’t answer a question regarding the health of the nail? Then when she put on the polish on was clunky. She didn’t buff my nail and kept cleaning continuously around the nail and it still wasn’t right and half way did my pedicure. I don’t feel like they should have charged full price because of the lack of experience of the nail tech that did my feet. Then when I go to check out they want to tell me it’s a charge for my polish take off, don’t you think the customer should know that before the fact. This is crazy. Because of my experience today I will not be back. Lack of communication, Laziness, and no empathy when issues arise. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Came in for a soak off and overlay. Was told the tech I wanted would only be 18minutes before she would start on my nails . I waited for over a hour and a half before the tech was actually ready. Told the lady if the tech was going to rush my nails I would rather come back she stated that the tech wouldn’t rush. Immediately when the technician sat down she started rushing. Told the tech I changed my mind and left.

I got a gel done here for the first time with friends and they effortlessly can copy the nails u show them from Pinterest! Im extremely impressed with their service as a new business and the interior was so clean and beautiful. Highly recommend

My friend recommended I try this new place for my nails, got in and the energy was weird with gossiping, the man who did my nails cut my hand in the process while filing, no apologies just him trying to apply one of their liquids which I told him I didn’t want to avoid infection, for a first time customer I’m definitely not visiting anymore going back to plush nails around the corner with better services, the nails just looked dirty then they offered 10% like they weren’t already giving that discount!
