Thursday night the 18th my friends and I came in expecting just another casual Thursday but WOW! The DJ that night was AMAZING!!! Was not expecting that but he made our night (12 of us). Great mixes, great energy, had a memorable night thanks to him. Not sure his name but definitely book him again (he was white, wearing a hat)

Terrible experience.I get there for my friends birthday, and get to the front to get in, as normal I show my ID, and was given a hard time about getting in because I did not look the part meanwhile I am wearing a nice button down shorts, and nice shorts to match. However, after agreeing to let me in because my birthday was a few days ago I enter and got stopped and had to pay a surcharge to go in, after my friends had all been there just a couple minutes before me and has no cover fee. Also, once im finally in, i see there are some guys in cargo shorts, gym shirts, I saw some in a ppen flannel and tank, and shorts. AND IM GIVEN THE HARD TIME!? I wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE.

Tall white new bouncer wouldn’t let me in with a government issued drivers license simply because he didn’t want a Chinese person in the establishment on white girl night. I offered a photo of my passport, my SIN number (private social security information of Canadian citizens); the police allowed the establishment next door to check my ID with their international scanner and the police led me back to Honey and explained the situation and gave him the go-ahead, but because I am Chinese/an Asian person the bouncer still refused me. Blatant racism!

I’m 24 and was turned down with my real id. Then was told I had to bring a cop to verify my id because he said it was fake. Florida id and actually 24 wouldt make this review if I wasn’t. Hope this finds management and they can’t talk to there staff because this was truly unacceptable behavior.

We went on a a Friday night, which was flash back to the 90s. We got there around 11ish so we missed the performance Young MC. The doorman, bodyguard, and cashier were pleasant. I liked the decor of the club. The sitting area in the back was nice with the tree inside. Two bars make it easy to get a drink. The DJ played a variety of music which was good. There is really not a designated dance floor so people who are not cognizant of personal space will dance all into your area. To be expected in a club, but a designated dance floor would help.

Club kicked me out for no reason. Didn’t give me a reason. Had a $200 tab was going back to pay & didn’t let me in with their own glass. Would never go back.After looking at more reviews it looks like it’s a common thing at this place. They should change management. Sorry but having crypto events once a month isn’t gunna help this place.

One of the best nightclubs around delray bay. The music and DJ is really nice, atmosphere is great, awesome lightings and most importantly the crowd is classy unlike most places in delray. The bartenders are very friendly. Highly recommended if someone is visiting delray beach and looking for a fun weekend

Ive been coming to this establishment since they opened their doors. Tonight was the last time Ill ever come back and the establishment should be embarrassed about how they treated a life long patron. A woman, who was highly intoxicated, who spilled and broke her drink all over the floor, felt the need to take my glass and drink from it and then proceed to spit it all over my dress shirt. This all occurred in the presence of a bouncer/security that worked there. The gentlemen witnessed the whole act and was extremely unhelpful about the situation. Not wanting to press charges against the woman, I politely asked the bouncer to have the woman removed or I would notify Delray Beach Police Dept about the assault. The bouncer said he would take care of it. Fast forward 15 minutes, as we are leaving the girl is with security and claiming I asked her to spit my drink into my mouth and for me to be removed from the establishment. Delray beach PD was called and PD refused to pull the establishments security footage. I was asked to leave the establishment and called a liar. Talk about double standard. Shameful for Delray Police Dept to downplay an assault on someone. And shameful for Honeys security to forcefully remove someone without probable cause. If this happened to a female, Id be going to jail. I had more than 3 witnesses who claimed they saw the act come forward. Good to know that clubs only protect woman!

We went last night for our friends birthday. We had to wait in line but wasnt too bad, normal club stuff. The guy at the front door was super friendly along with the bartenders. DJ was amazing, played a great mix and best weve heard! Will be back when staying in Delray!

The place is fine, but they need to change their playlist, sounds like radio from 90s. Security guy at the entrance openly collects extra from each person who wants to get in without line.

Honey is a staple of Delray. Great music, great drinks, and great service. Stephanie is one of the best bartenders you will ever interact with. One of the owners, Dave, makes every visit a personal experience. Verna and Ang will be sure to show you a great time in bottle service. If you want to get some fresh air at the back bar, Celine or Megan will surely quench your thirst in the process. The staff is one big family which allows the business to operate seamlessly. Highly recommend visiting Honey if you plan on experiencing Delray nightlife.

Worst place i’ve ever been!! The security at the entrance is a real jerk and racist! He let all of us in except my friend who spoke Spanish just because she started speaking Spanish to him, in return he yelled at us!! Just because we were begging her to let her in, the worst place Ive come to enjoy my vacation.

There was a line next door so I came in for a drink with some friends. We got in right away, bartenders were friendly. The DJ- DJ Collision was absolutely killing it so we stayed almost the whole night. Loved it and will try to come back soon!

Worst place ever they made us drinks and almost every restaurant and bar takes Apple Pay made are drinks kicked us out cause we couldn’t pay with Apple Pay didn’t even drink the drinks yet wow asked to go talk to the gm couldn’t even talk to him very unprofessional will never go back. I recommend salt 7, throw social, tin roof……. Or even racos tacos at this point what a shame

4/22/22 was the 1st time that I visited this club. This was the 2nd club I went to after coming from Club Throw. Although Throw was crowded, Honey had the better music. Good beats! There were 2 bars located inside the club. One in the back and 1 up front when you come in. Although there was no formal dance floor, people danced more up front in what looked to be a hallway shaped dance floor. The patrons there knew how to have fun! There was also a portion behind the DJ that could be reserved. Big UPS to the bouncer who let me & my daughter in for free that night!

Always a good vibe and my favorite bartenders alway give us great service !!

Remodeled club lacks basic intellectual design. We stopped in to dance on a Saturday night. All good. Doorman was friendly. Clientele were dressed to the 9s. Lots of things to look at. All good. Now, we get a drink at the main bar and it is WAY watered down. We ask the barmaid about it and she wants to charge $5 to bring it up to normal. Very unacceptable. We go to dance and the dance floor is totally used as the main hallway through the club. They moved the DJ to the center of the room, with the area bwhind reserved for VIP and bottle service. Try to dance and every 4 seconds you have to stop to let someone pass. Totally not a good time. Look elsewhere if you want to dance or have a drink.

I sent my mother to Delray Beach for a getaway and recommended that she visit Honey Delray. Unfortunately this location required her to open a tab and the bartender lost her Debit Card. Our credit union has no locations in Delray so my mother was stranded without money. I had to drive from Deltona to bring my mother money due to their neglect. They were unapologetic. I would not recommend spending your money at this location. You may never see your card again and who wants to be stranded without money.In response to the owner- while I appreciate you helping my mother cancel her card the fact remains that your staff misplaced her card while it was in their possession. Now while you may have been able to locate the card an hour after the event, the fact remains that she was directed to cancel her card as a result of the card being misplaced. She was left stranded in a city hours away from our home without money. My mother had to ask for the owner/manager directly because the woman who served her and she was not being empathetic to her situation. In fact she sent my mother directly to the bartender to figure the situation out for herself. So while you may have helped to try and amend the situation by telling her to cancel the card, we can not ignore that her server did not handle the situation correctly. We also can not ignore that she was left stranded without money.

Been all around the country partying over the years and Delray/ Honey is a good time. Great music and fun atmosphere that is cut off at the knees by a terrible bar design. People go there to drink and expect some kind of roomy dance floor vs a hallway. Why even play good music , get people into it and then crowd them into a narrow passageway. Please get your money back from the bar designer and do it over!!

My husband and I went here last night. It was our first time coming here but I read about this place online and we made the thirty minute drive from Pompano to check it out. The best thing about this place was the DJ, DJ Bonkers lol, he was very animated and was really playing it up for the crowd, which was very mixed since it was a St. Patricks Day celebration. He played a mix of pop music, hip hop, dance, and some other stuff I never heard of lol.The disappointment of the night was with ONE of the bartenders. We ordered from two different bartenders, the first of which prepared a cranberry vodka for me and Heineken for my husband, no problem. But the second woman who prepared the same drink for me gave me a glass of tasted like straight cranberry juice. You could tell by how dark the drink was that there wasnt much vodka in the glass, and the drink cost $11. I approached her again and asked her if she could add more vodka because the drink tastes like juice. She promptly told me no, that all the drinks are prepared the same. She then prepared a new drink in a short glass, I guess to demonstrate her she makes the drink, held it up to show me and then poured that drink out. That was quite unnecessary, but even that wasnt the issue.The problem was that she didnt stop there. From there she continued to rant, as she stood working the register, about how Im not special and shes not going to make my drink different from anybody else and If you dont like it you can go somewhere else. She said this with a shrug and a nasty look on her face, and that was what killed the vibes for me. Why are you telling a paying customer who was dissatisfied with the service that they should go somewhere else? Totally rude and again completely unnecessary. I said nothing disrespectful to her, didnt complain about her, just about the drink, which is within my rights as a paying customer, and this was the response I got.My husband then approached a male bartender and requested to speak to the manager. The bartender said the manager wasnt available at that moment, but he quickly and simply diffused the problem by preparing us a properly mixed drink and exchanging it for the one from the other bartender, which we appreciated very much. I dont know if the manager reads these things, but please retrain the bartenders about how to speak to customers. We had a good time, but we dont feel welcome to come back.

Went to Honey in costume, the Saturday before Halloween and had a great time. The DJ was amazing, they played old school the whole night. I danced for four hours straight, without sitting once. I had never been there before, so I dont know what its like the rest of the time, but we had a great time that night!

Honey is a large bar/club with excellent drinks. It always has a good friendly crowd and music going by the DJ. The menu is limited but the food they have is above average and well priced. The drinks are what makes this place worth the visit. They have unique cocktails including great bourbon drinks. For a good night out this is a top choice.

Just don’t go there. The head of security committed a hate crime against our friend based on his appearance then proceeded to instigate a situation where we were forced to leave our VIP table. The bouncers physically attacked several of the ladies in our group, punching one in the face. This was a group of RNs, medical and health care professionals. Not the regular crowd of party animals. The police showed up and immediately empathized with the bouncers and failed to make a report about the attack. It was an incredibly unjust and dangerous situation. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are a lot of creeps hanging out and for the LGBT community this is not a safe place.

Came here for my sisters bachelorette party, the bouncer kept letting people he know in before the line, and I’m not talking about 1 or 20 parties he at leastLet 50 people in. We waited over an hour and then he yelled at the bride saying she was cutting the line. If I was the owner of this place I would definitely fire the bouncer and hide one that has stop type of professionalism to him. This person has no manners and thought he owner the club. It ended our last night in delray pretty horribly. We ended up at another club and I spent a couple k on VIP and we had a blast. I give this place no stars if I could.The picture posted is the “ VIP” line. Aka bouncers friends.I own a restaurant and multiple business and It would be imbearsing to be the owner of this club/bar.

Had a fabulous time at the Old School Slick Rick show last night! This was our first time visiting this club and when I saw the demographics of the people walking around and at the restaurants nearby I wasnt sure what to expect but this club had a very diverse crowd and a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I saw one reviewer complain about the throwback black music that was played when she visited the club but there are a million places on Atlantic and all around S. Fl that play every other genre of music so go there next time. The old school music was fantastic and all the patrons of every race and background were dancing, singing along and having a great time. The only thing that kept me from giving them 5 stars was that the layout of the space could be better. Couldnt really get to the stage area to see the show with the main, crowded walkway right there. Other than that, everything was great! Keep it up Honey and well definitely be repeat customers!

Went there on Friday night to see a band and bought tickets a few weeks in advance to see them. Aside from the band not coming on for over 3 1/2 hours, the doorman out front kept letting people in the exit for free! It was so overcrowded (most likely a fire code violation) that we left before they even came out. There was literally no room to stand inside and he kept letting more and more in! What a joke. I hope the band wasnt paid by attendance. If so, they were ripped off too! Plus, the only friendly people there were the women at the entrance and what looked like the manager. All of the bartenders looked like they were being bothered when people spoke to them. Just awful.

I came with my boyfriend last night after we bought early bird tickets on Eventbrite advertising free drinks till 11 pm. We got there early and they started letting people in around 9:15. No problems getting in. One complaint I have was that it wasnt made clear that the free drinks were for students only so I didnt bring my Student ID. Thankfully I could pull up my student account info to prove it. Then we actually did get free drinks for the whole 2 hrs! You had a choice between rum and coke or a vodka mixer. They did not skimp on the liquor. All together had a great time for only $40 total (we tip our bartenders and the staff that help out in the bathroom). If we come back to Delray Beach we will be sure to visit again!

Traveled the whole world as a Proffesional tennis player but the atmosphere, energy fun and amazing customer service is the very Best of any place around!!! Love the drinks, DJ and staff ! Honey is honestly the place you should be every weekend in Delray Beach !!!

Went to Honey on Saturday (02/23/19) night with my friend. Requested a table ($250.) and when we were about to enter, We were informed by the bouncer that we were not allowed to enter. We were never given an explanation as why we were denied entry.However, I would like to tell you what happened the prior evening... My friend and I are walking to get the car and as we are waiting at the crosswalk for the light to change, there was a police officer waiting as well. We said hello to each other and as we were casually talking I made a comment about his weight and that he should workout. He said to me that I was rude. I said nicely, sorry I was just being honest. Then, he said: I could tell you a lot of rude things, but I won’t. I replied with a very nice and cordial tone as from the beginning of our conversation: I guess you could. The light changed and we said good night again. As he was leaving, he stated that he runs 3 miles every day. We kept walking and said goodbye once again and that was the end of the conversation.Apparently, the police officer took offense and was the reason behind why I was denied entry at your club on Saturday night . I believe he used his authority to personally try to humiliate or embarrass me and my friend. I have been to your club numerous times without any issues. I have been a member of your sister club in WPB for the past three years. I am appalled at the disgraceful treatment we received.This police officer has taken his ego a little over the top. Does this mean that I am not allowed to enter the club because of a comment he felt was inappropriate? Well I feel his behavior was inappropriate.Sorry, but this is very immature on the part of the police officer and totally unprofessional for your Club and staff members in handling this matter. The two matters are totally unrelated. As a loyal customer and member of Camelot at Palm Beach (same owner with Honey), I will consider taking my business somewhere else and never recommend the Club Honey in the future. Also, I will be canceling my membership with Camelot. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Very disappointed.

How sad. This place was iconic to Delray. Now they wanna slam you a $10 admission to listen to some amateur DJ yell over the loud speaker like a run-down miami club. Avoid this place until the owner gets a grip.

Ordered Patron & it tasted like water. Granted, it was a busy night but when I signaled the bartender after being ignored for a while, she responded rudely. I left no tip on my card, & I later seen on my bank statement that the bartender later added it herself! I got in personal contact with Dave, who claimed to be one of the owners, multiple times and he said hed take care of it. Never did.

Went on an event night 2 tickets were 20$ if your college students unlimited drinks for 2 hours. Get there at 9 to avoid the line. Only vodka and rum drink mixes. My Gf had 6 and I had 8. Had to uber back but music was good. Strong security plus 2 cops showed up to help keep an eye on the bar so very secure and safe. Would defiantly go again. Smoking bar section in the back also muy bueno.

ZERO stars do not go there!!! they let terrible people in there. i got my phone stolen out of my purse the first night I ever went there, there were 5 other people next to me saying the same thing. Went back the next night because all my friends were there (bought a brand new phone) put my phone INSIDE MY PURSE and someone took it my friend had hers in her pocket and we both got our phones taken. Ridiculous.. and management dose nothing about it. Went on find my iphone both nights as soon as my phone was taken and both times the location showed last known location honey but my phone was turned off by whoever took it. Im very responsible, very sketchy place, never going back.

Theres a long wait to get in here and the most you get is an underwhelming night club that has no space to dance. The DJs were alright but the bartenders had a serious attitude problem just because you cant hear them and its difficult to hear them. Honestly, this place isnt worth your time at al and Id pass.

Had so much fun at Honey! went with a bachelorette party - Great music good vibe and super attentive staff I don’t know how they did it but they have spidy senses any time we even slightly spilled a drink someone materialized out of thin air and cleaned it up and made sure we were all good and the owner Dave is very nice and helpful! Will deff go back when we’re in the area

Came for my friends birthday door guy was soooo rude yelling at my party and we had a table. Once we got in D.J was not good but then it got better. Place was packed. We ended up having a great time.

DJ wasn’t good and the “hype man” was even worse asked him twice to say congratulations to my best friend and her husband for her wedding and he said he would and he never did even though he knew he never was going to. Would never recommend this place.

The door girl is beyond rude. She makes nasty comments about women as they walk in. It’s such a shame that women feel the need to put down other women. When we arrived that night the door girl body shamed me as I was walking inside. She ddont know my friends were behind me, they all over heard her making comment about my body and breast’s. I’m return they were all very upset and told me about her comment as well. I do not and will never suppprt this establishment again. Having someone at the front door be so open and willing to body sham is vial and inappropriate. Such a shame.

Mike and Julio are amazing! Service was amazing and Mike was friendly and attentive. Julio was extremely clean with servicing the bartenders and sanitizing bottle toppers. Overall great first time experience.

Great DJs, great music great crowd, great drinks, everyone dancing & having fun. Only complaint was that it was so crowded that it was hard to move..but I was there on a popular holiday party night so I cant say its always like that.

The music, the ambiance, Fantastic! The back bar has a nice open nook with a view of the night sky. Perfect place for Date Night or to Dance the night away. Enjoy!

I saw a group of girls being denied entrance because ONE guy felt threatened by a group of girls. The girls did absolutely nothing, they tried reasoning with the bouncers and police and no one did anything. Looked like discrimination to me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. My group and I left and so did other people.

What a Joke! $10 cover, then as soon as you walk in, they installed a long wall that splits what was dance floor into a hallway and vip. Opening for a Circular DJ booth in the middle. So the dance floor has become a 5ft wide hallway pressed up against the giant rectangle bar. So youre cramped and bottlenecked the whole night unless you get a bottle. The crowd is 40+ Dull-ray Yuppies and busted cougars. It defies all logic. The logo looks like a college student designed it for free.So this place used to be be Delux. The only nightclub in Delray (Dull-ray). A decent open dance floor and vip. $5 cover. Reasonably priced drinks. Now its $10 cover. I get it - they wanted to get rid of the college crowd. But they blew it overall. Real smart move in such a hard economical time.

Stopped by here for drinks with some friends. We went for drinks and ordered shots of patron. After we took the shots we all looked at each other and said this is water at the same time. I asked for he manager and he tells me because we ordered it chilled it just have tasted water downed LMFAOOOO. I’m 33 years old and have had my share of chilledPatron and this WAS DEFINITLY NOT PATRON. Stay away. Straight thieves!!!

The bouncer (same guy that other people have posted pictures complaining about) was extremely rude for no reason, me and my 2 friends were the only people waiting to get in at about 1:20 he Let the people in front of us in then told us they stopped letting people in which was fine, then 2 minutes later a group of 5 walked up shook hands with him and they were let in he said it’s about who you know here because it’s a private bar lol so I guess your moneys only good if you know people here

Cool spot right on Atlantic. Played a gig here about a week ago, had a great time. Very friendly bartenders. Indoors and outdoors, both very nice. Good beer selection.

This bar is located on the Ave in DELRAY. Such a fun place. A bar in the front and back so youll never wait long. Bio area available. Great place for fun and dancing. First date worthy.

Nice atmosphere. Clean. Great service in the rear area which is open. Roomy. Good mood lighting. DJ plays good music nonstop. Will visit again.

It was a friends birthday party in the Vip section. Very crowded small narrow space. Enjoyed the company but not to impressed with bar/club. I would not pay a cover charge to get in.

Ok I just moved here from Seattle 2 months ago and finally I went to this place first time,,,,,, first of alll they charge me 10 dollar cover charge for guys really?than here comes the kicker I ordered Johnny walker black label whiskey and the charge me 14 dollars for that and charge me 2 more dollars for get ice in that really?every where else in Delray Beach bars drinks are 6 .25 that’s it no cover charge,there’s drinks are double the price,,,,, very bad place to go t don’t go to this place,,,and this place sucks it smells so bad that I left after my one drink and they over charge you for everything,,,,,,,, save your money and go somewhere else in Delray but don’t go here ,,,, please these reviews are here for to help public... Had the best time ever this past saturday when Dj sum and yaz were there. 10/10 recommend Honey.. if these two are dj’ing.

Wrap around bar in the front, VIP to the side and it is separate with a DJ. In the back there is indoor/outdoor seating with another bar. Dancing in the front and more cozy in the back.

Good service. the VIP area is really cramped though so if you have a large party and are celebrating there is not much room and you may stand back to back with another party

A fairly typical cocktail bar. The drinks are good, the ambiance is nice, the music is loud, but theres nothing particularly unique or special.

Drinks are expensive and the alcohol is really cheap. They pack the place beyond capacity. Not Safe, doesnt meet fire code.

Great lounge. Stop by after dinner for some dancing or just relax in the out door courtyard. Nice that they have both indoor and outdoor seating.

The valet parking staff is beyond rude.This Hispanic bold guy was so rude. The bathroom were awful only 2 servicing tons of people.

Great place, good music but the bar manager was rude with no customer service skills at all, i asked for a drink and his answer was, when i will look at you than you can order your drink what kind of answer is it, you working there your job is to serve the customer, that really pissed me off

Over priced place with a stupid dress code.Rude bouncer and cop standing outside .I see people so drunk in there they cant even stand up and are not kicked out while other people who are not to drunk are kicked out because they are not a hot looking chick.At the same time,people in there are doing lines of cocaine while this is all happening and no one seeing anything.The music is so loud and it is dark in there that I bet there is alot of cocaine being sold in there and being used without the bouncer or cop seeing any of it.I went here once and I had enough of this place .I want to be with regular people then these stuck up types that are attracted to this place.

I seem to always end up here when the group feels like dancing at the end of the night and we always have a good time.

Really bad, the staff treat you so bad, and there was A LOT of hair in the drinks and i told them they were being super rude abt it also the drinks were rlly bad.

Such a great atmosphere!!! We loved it!!! Def going to be regulars. Gabrielle at the bar is wonderful!!

Stay far away from this place!! Bad vibes, bad management, bad environment, dark, people in there have bad vibes. Just walk past this one.

I was just here and I literally got kicked out of the club in a very very rude and disrespectful way... I’m never coming back here ever again. So disrespectful the security people are disrespectful and unprofessional....

Bartender gave me the middle finger when I tried to order drinks.Note to the owner: He was the only Male bartender on staff in the main area.

A bar that charges $10 cover for no reason. No drink specials, nothing special inside that Id pay just to be present. Dont you make enough off drinks? Stop being greedy.

Four stars because its clean spacious and they serve nice drinks...but annoying that they mostly play throwback black music...luckily most djs here take requests
