Colleen has been my massage therapist for a long time. I always try to book with her because she knows how much pressure I like and knows what areas to concentrate more on. She has a great personality and is very friendly! I highly recommend her!

I’ve been a member for years. I’ve been massaged by many and facials by two. I seem to click rather well with Colleen; she is amazing. With that being said, I’m in no way taking away from the others, they’re all great!

Please be careful when choosing the East Brunswick Location. They are using devious business practices to get you locked in to their Facility. I went to get a massage and was sold an additional 3 massage package. In conversation I explained that I would be moving soon and was unsure about buying 3 more. I was told I could use them and not to worry. When I called to use my massages at another location I was informed I could only use them in East Brunswick. Now here I am in Florida and unable to use the massages. I called back to see if I could transfer them to a friend who lives near East Brunswick, and I was told no.I now live in Florida and have to let $300 worth of massages just go to waste. Doesnt sound fair or a good business practice as I wasnt trying to get anything more than what I paid for.After speaking with Reception and explaining my situation, I was put on an endless hold and had to eventually hang up. Come on! What about customer service. I recommend finding a better place to get your massage.

Colleen is amazing! She always does an excellent massage, I always feel so good after one. I also enjoy her facials and back facials. Highly recommend her to anyone!

Gina is absolutely my favorite! I book my facials with her because she knows what she is doing, she explains the products and is friendly. She also has really great recommendations that leave my skin glowing and healthy.

Denise is an amazing masseuse who does deep tissue massage. I give her a 5. She really is the only reason I am giving this a 4 overall.East Brunswick Massage Envy just move to a new location and I dislike the feel. There is nothing relaxing about the waiting area. The lighting everywhere is way too bright. The industrial modern feel is cold and unwelcoming. The old location had much more appeal.

Ebonnie is absolutely magical! Every time I see her, she works patiently and tirelessly on even the most stubborn knots. I always feel like a whole new person after getting a massage from her!

Worst customer service. Don’t waste your money to buy membership because you will never get what you ask for. Extremely disappointing. I have had multiple occasions where I booked my appointment with added services in advance and when you go to your appointment they tell you that the equipment is busy or not available. First for cupping with massage the excuse was cups are being used, later on they said they got lost during the moving process. Another time, facial was booked with dermaplaning. The lady who was doing facial told me she was not certified for derma. So I asked if she can do microdermabrasion, to which she replied that equipment is busy. So you always get bare minimum services. The manager ALISHA was very rude and unapologetic. When I told her that front desk girl gave wrong info about add on service and that service was booked wrong, she goes like there are a couple of new people rather than bring sorry. I mean what kind of manager are you? If your staff is untrained. Never going back there. They are just using a name brand, otherwise thousands of good places are around that give best services in less charges.

While the services were good, I agree that the management is the worst Ive ever experienced. I had been trying to cancel my membership since the summer of 2023 and was told I had to wait until my 6 months were up. When it was up in September, I was then advised I had to speak to a manager in order to cancel. The manager, Alicia, and I were playing phone tag for several weeks because shes not in all the time and when I finally got in touch with her at the end of the year, she was very rude and played dumb about them having a corporate number. She told me I had to speak to Francis, the franchise owner, in order to get a refund for all the months they kept charging me since I told them I wanted to cancel in September. A front desk person finally told me in January during a subsequent call after Francis hadnt called me back, that she sees Alicia left a note in the system to send me the cancellation form. Had they just done this in September, I wouldnt have this problem and be out 4 months of membership fees. Every time I went there for services to use up my initial 6 months of membership, I was told that theres a note in the system for Francis to call me back and they would leave a post it on his desk to try to put me at this top of his list. Clearly, they have a lot of issues. Needless to say, it is now April 2024 and Francis has yet to call me. The front desk finally got Alicia to respond to them today about someone calling me back, but instead of calling me herself, she relayed to the front desk girl that the best she could do is refund me for one month. She lied and stated that Francis has tried to leave me messages. Its unprofessional and pathetic that management will go months without communicating with their clients and then let the front desk associates deal with it. Alicia and Francis are the worst example of management and should be ashamed at the way they run their business. They are thieves and I highly encourage you to seek a more respectable establishment for spa services.

ERICA is phenomenal. I cant recommend her enough! Shes patient and listens to your concerns and truly tries to help you feel better. Shes truly an asset to the company. Also, Belle from reception is very sweet and helpful. I needed information and she went the extra mile to help me get what I was looking for. Absolutely recommend.

I have been a massage envy customer for over 15 years and there is one reason I have stayed, Aneta! my current therapist. Aneta is the best, and she is just one of the most kind and wonderful humans I know. She has always helped me with various aches and pains whether exercise related or due to tightness from to travel, or constant sitting and working at a desk. She asks me what needs to be worked on and most importantly she listens and makes sure she works on those problem areas. She is great!

Ebonnie was amazing. she helped my neck and back pain with some amazing myofascial massage that helped release some major tension/pain. Plan to continue to see her as my range of motion and pain is much improved after one visit.

Just came from having an hour long gifted massage with Andrea & she was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I would very HIGHLY RECOMMEND Andrea! When I go again, I will request her.

I’ve been going to massage envy for years and always have an enjoyable experience. Gillian is wonderful for facials and always tailors my facial based on my needs. Moselene and Aneta are fantastic for massages. I always leave so relaxed and feeling great!

Ruth was absolutely fantastic! She applied the perfect amount of pressure, and spent time focusing on the area that was my primary reason for getting the massage. I felt so much relief after. I would definitely recommend Ruth, and will absolutely book her again!

I have been seeing Gina for facials for the past few years. She is definitely the best aesthetician there. She Is always very attentive to my skin care needs, and informs me of my dues and don’ts. She actually pointed out some changes in sunspots she had noticed which is a good thing because it turned out being skin cancer so I thank her for that. it’s always a very pleasant experience while I’m getting my treatment. I am looking forward to many more aggressive treatments as my skin ages. I am currently not a member I was in the past however, Gina did speak to me about some promotion that might be available and I was supposed to talk to somebody at the front desk on my way out but I think she had already left so I’m hoping to try and get that same deal or maybe some other better promotions that could be available the next time I’m in your salon

I have never had a bad massage at this location and I’ve had so many masseuses, but this recent 90-min with Erica was top notch! Highly recommend!

Ebonnie was my therapist. She is an excellent therapist who used the cupping process on my back. She worked with all my aches and pains. I will return for another session.

This place is very deceptive I had a gift card that expired in February when making the appointment and showing up to the massage, I was not told it expired until after I received services. I had to pay $155 for a massage I didn’t want I only used it because I had a gift card. The front desk is very nasty. Don’t waste your time going.

I have been enjoying facials from Gillian for years! The treatments are wonderful and her company is pleasant. It is a treat to visit.

Denise was fantastic! Was very communicative and knowledgeable during the massage. She was very attentive to my needs and knew how to relief the aches and pains using a relaxing Deep Tissue method… If you haven’t seen her, you need to!

Aneta is outstanding! She has been my husband’s and my therapist for many years. The East Brunswick ME has moved and I’m not impressed with the new location. The waiting area is no longer a quiet zen experience but open to a view of the parking lot. Dimmer switches in the massage rooms are set to return lights to full brightness after 1 hour. I had a 90 minute massage and was jarred from relaxation when overhead lights burst into my vision at the 60 minute mark. It shouldn’t be up to therapists to reset the lights before the shock of full brightness hits the eyes of clients they are busy trying to give therapeutic massages to.

Ruth is a world class masseuse! Feel like a million bucks walking out after massage w/ her! Thanks Ruth!

Aneta is the best!!! I worked for years as a bedside nurse and I developed chronic back and neck pain. I visited many locations before I hit the jackpot and Im so fortunate to have found her. So much so, that I drive 25 miles and past 3 other locations because shes the best :). Shes so good that Im afraid that my life will change dramatically when she decides to retire, but until then Im grateful!!!

Gina is an amazing aesthetician! I’ve been utilizing her services for the past 6 months on a monthly basis, and my skin is noticeably improved. Gina is very attentive to my needs and always offers the utmost in professional service!

Jacqueline is an exceptional massage therapist! Wonderful for working out normal wear and tear on the bod(medium/firm), all the way up to sciatic pain(deep tissue)! I dont usually write reviews, however, she absolutely deserves recognition. I had a wonderful experience with Erica. It had been some time since I had visited. To be honest I was in a great deal of pain (shoulder/upper back) and unable to fully move my arm. When I left, I did NOT need assistance with my coat, I could raise my arm and bend at the waist with minimal pain. Needless to say, I would recommend Erica and Massage Envy for your massage needs.

Thank you Gina for a wonderful facial ! Addressed all my skin concerns … the exfoliation was much needed! My skin feels wonderful today! Also pleasantly surprised to have my arms and hands massaged as well … looking coward to my next facial !!!

The session yesterday was very good for me. I needed a massage on my upper back and neck. I received a great massage for those specific areas as well as my lower legs. Thanks to Kassy, I felt great after my session.

I have been a member at Massage Envy East Brunswick for some time. The staff is accommodating however the highlight is Moselene. She is an amazing therapist!!! If you can get an appointment with her I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience. Check-in felt intrusive and my privacy was not maintained. The front desk person read personal questions out loud in the lobby. I should have been provided the device to enter my information privately. The facial was cut short because the technician was late. There was a long pause in the middle and I was told notes were being taken. When I was leaving, there was pressure to purchase a package. Overall, it was not relaxing and was overpriced for a mediocre facial. I will stick with spas and not return to that location.

Denise was fantastic! She asked what I was looking for and tailored my massage to provide it. She was excellent with deep tissue. I will definitely be going back!

Yolanda was truly amazing and I enjoyed my experience 100%. She was very accommodating with the pressure of the massage, always made sure to ask me how I was doing, and asked me multiple times if I needed more or less pressure. It was my first time getting a massage with her and she was so nice!

Just last year I stopped going to massage envy because after my year contract expired, they raised my rate from 60 to 75 in three months. I was very upset especially since Ive been a customer for at least 4 years. Aneta was my therapist and she is the very best!! She knew where I hurt before I even told her. I always left feeling soooo relaxed. I really miss Aneta!!!P

Ebonnie is the absolute best! She always uses just the right amount of pressure and if I go in with a headache, I walk out floating on a cloud.The front desk staff are super helpful in checking my balance of remaining sessions and helping me reschedule if I need.The only thing I would love is for some gentle shades in the front entrance along all the windows because when I walk out after a session where it’s been dim lighting for an hour, it’s sometimes really bright when I check out.

I just want to say Moselene is one of the best massage therapist I ever experienced since I started having massages, and trust me its been a while.Its to the point that I would say she should be a instructor on how to give a proper massage. She has a gift. Im already booked to the end of the year just to make sure shes available. Its a shame I could only give five stars because she deserves 10, keep up the good work

Massage was not as expected, super low pressure even though I requested more pressure to be applied, and super expensive for somebody lightly tapping on me. Definitely Not a deep tissue massage! Would not revisit this location.

Charged me for a session I never booked due to an error on their website. I was looking at appointments built never confirmed anything, never received a confirmation email or anything added to my calendar and was called saying that their massage therapist was waiting for me for a 4:45pm appointment. Their website did not even have 4:45 appointments available! They only had sessions available on the hour - 4, 5, 6, etc and refused to acknowledge it was a mistake with their system and charged me anyway. Massage envy’s business model is predatory and there are plenty of other good massage therapists available with quality reviews in the area for cheaper.

Ruth is the best, especially for back pain. Stretched me out after the massage! Highly recommend

My Massage Therapist Aneta is AMAZING and Francis, the Manager, does a wonderful job managing the staff and seeing to the needs of the customers. The staff is also very pleasant and accommodating. I called to make an appointment yesterday, the girl who answered basically told me she didn’t have anything available and to look online. I looked online and there were slots available. I call back, no one answered. I left a message no one returned my call. I don’t think the East Brunswick location is for “certain” people smh.

Mandy was very knowlegable about my condition. I suffer from piriformis issues and she knew exactly how to treat the issue. I highly recommend her.

Ruth is very knowledgeable and gives the best professional massage. She knows where to focus and gives advice for home care. Always very happy with her.

Go see Ebonnie! I went to her yesterday for a 60 min customized full body massage. She was super nice, really pleasant, and out of all of the massages I have ever got -this was my best one yet.

Moselene is truly one of the best therapist I have ever experienced. The treatments are the highlight of my month. She is wonderful at knowing exactly what you need and also is very professional.

I really appreciate Aneta helping me with my frozen shoulder. She accomplished in two sessions what physical therapy and acupuncture couldn’t accomplish in 6 months! She’s the best out there!

She takes the time to listen to your needs and she doesn’t rush her sessions. She makes sure that her clients are happy and satisfied with her service. There isn’t anyone else I trust with my face than Gina. I Highly recommend her. Try for yourself and you’ll see.

Daniel did an amazing firm to moderate massage focusing on my tension points. It was 90 min of pure relaxation I would recommend him for anyone who is looking to release stress

POORLY MANAGED LOCATION. Member of 12 years here. Not sure how long this current manager has been at this location, but there has been a steep decline in customer service and accountability. If I had a problem in the past (pre pandemic) it was always solved in reasonable amount of time with a solution that made me want to stay for so many years.This location has always had a problem placing me with a therapist that does deep tissue but eventually they would find someone good for me. Wanda, Juan and JT were fantastic therapists. However over this year in particular, this location has cancelled my appts 6 times. Twice while I was on my way in and one after I already arrived! They are struggling to keep staff and the staff they do have is poorly managed. Front desk manager Alicia acts like shes doing you a favor by rescheduling your appt after it is cancelled by them. Said what just happened is unacceptable referring to not being notified that my therapist was gone until after I had arrived for my appointment, that being the 3rd or 4th time Id been cancelled on in a 2 month period. She said let me get you on someone elses schedule who does deep tissue, you dont have to wait here, well call you. Still waiting on that call (Its been 2 months and in which time 2 more appts cancelled including today). I called to speak to the other manager, never received a call back. Even if I do cancel my membership, I would never be able to exhaust my sessions in 60 days because they keep cancelling my appts and not doing anything to try to get me on the schedule with someone else, still charging me regular monthly fees. Alicia said let me make it right by getting you on someones schedule Not only is that not enough to make it right, she didnt even do that.Although there are other locations that I could go to, and thank goodness there is national reciprocity between the franchise, I cannot simply transfer locations because Im told that you cannot transfer home locations in state.

Moselene did an outstanding job, i have been a member for a year and she gave the best massage i have had so far. Highly recommend booking her whenever she is available.

My husband purchased a gift card for a facial, massage and left the tip. I called to schedule an appointment and they would NOT schedule an appointment without me leaving a credit card on file. I left a message for corporate as no one answered and that was the only way to receive a call back.I should not be required to provide a credit card.

The massage itself was great the masseuse was really attentive to my problem areas. My only issue is pricing I was given a gift card of $100 as a gift and because I have visited this place prior I had to pay an additional $73 including tip. Essentially I paid for additional service which is why I dont frequent here the pricing is a rip off.

Just had a massage here with Aneta today - probably one of the best massages I have ever gotten in my life. She is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to how your body responds. Very rare to find a masseuse this great - truly exceptional and glad to now be a client of hers. She can elevate an entire business with her skills and demeanor - hope she is offered a partnership. I surprised my wife with a 90 minute massage and foot scrub for our anniversary and she was shorted 20 min. When she inquired about the 20 minutes, she was told it was for getting dressed and undressed. 10 minutes is understandable but 20 min is ridiculous, ESPECIALLY for the price I paid. I will not be returning. She also said the massage and foot scrub was OK, she has had better at other places.

The manager is the WORST! Fees went up and no one was told. He claims “emails went out” but weird how both my wife and myself never received anything. If I love something my family and friends know all about my experience and many will try it out for themselves. I’ve always thought sharing is caring. I rarely post a bad review. Francis of Massage Envy of East Brunswick does not value my business. I typically get a facial every 2 to 3 weeks. I typically spend more than the average person because my esthetician, Gillian, is amazing. She’s been my esthetician for at least 10 years now. She knows my skin and takes pride in her abilities. As she should. So today I had a 90 minute facial with add ons as Gillian saw fit. When I was checking out, I asked for a product Gillian held for me the last time I was there. They couldn’t find it. Okay no worries. I need another product that’s on sale according to the 20% off sign on the display. I’ll get 2. The manager tells Gillian to take the sign down and tell the woman checking me out the sale ended yesterday. Really?! Ok so I’m not thinking at the moment. I tell the woman I just want one since it’s not on sale. I’m late for an appointment, so I don’t have time. I ask her to charge my account and I leave. As I’m driving, I start thinking about how much money I spend at Massage Envy not monthly but annually. I think about how much business I’ve brought to this location because of Gillian’s expertise in aesthetics. I know my worth and I value the relationships I have built. Francis does not value me as a client or Gillian as an exceptional employee with a vast following. He chose to ignore a common courtesy due to an internal error (no blame placed on any one individual as they are a team) of not recognizing the sale sign date ended the day prior to my visit. It was 2:30PM on Wednesday, December 1. The sale ended November 30. Fact is I’m a loyal client who praises the work Gillian does. My feedback has always been positive regarding the entire team. Today, I’m extremely disappointed because Francis did not value my business enough to honor a drop in the bucket 20% off promotion. It’s unfortunate that Massage Envy of East Brunswick will lose my business as well as a few of my friends because of Francis’s choice. Gillian, please know if you ever decide to relocate, I’ll be your first client.

I signed up for a six month membership. I’ve been getting massages for years and at this point it’s pretty easy to tell who a great therapist is. Over the course of this membership I’ve found that I only liked the massages from Erika. Unfortunately, it’s been quite difficult to schedule appointments with her as her slots book rather quickly. I’ve tried other therapists and they are not as skilled as she is which becomes incredibly frustrating. Some barely massaged me despite asking for increased pressure. Some slathered lotion on me and barely touched me. Because of this I canceled my membership. It’s not worth randomly picking therapists and receiving subpar service. I managed to find another spa with skilled therapists. The place offers 60 minute massages (as opposed to the 50 that you’ll get here) and free massages after 10 visits. Stay away from Massage Envy.

I had Laurie today (she works on Wednesdays and weekends I believe) and had one of the best massages of my life. I suffer from chronic pain, especially in my lower back. She was obviously listening to me when I told her that Bc she focused a lot of attention to that area. She was really wonderful and I will be back again to get a massage from her. This time 90 minutes ❤️

Called in in desperate need of a massage, not expecting much from a franchise. Was so impressed with the front desk and my therapist, Anna, that I joined and return each time I am in the area visiting my son. Recently have become more familiar with their product line of fragrances and feel happy about that. A great place.

I went with a friend and signed up for their membership. I didnt really utilize the membership much because the therapist I had for my first massage just wasnt a good match for me and it somewhat turned me off to the experience. Then, I realized I had about 4 months to use the all of my massages or I was basically going to be throwing away my money. I started going to see Juan, who is a male masseuse there. He is great. Then I switched to see Marc...he is absolutely the best. Very knowledgeable about pain/muscles, etc. and teaches you how you can feel better overall between massages.Unfortunately, I needed to cancel my membership due to unforeseen circumstances.Peter, the manager there was a great help in helping me utilize my remaining appointments without losing my sessions and even helped me save a little. This is a great place with friendly and helpful employees.

In the past the customer service was perfunctory. In 2015 it started to become quite amazing and has continued to do so. The front desk always greets everyone with a smile and they go above and beyond. I was especially impressed with Sara, who called me after an appointment which I had just been looking for opened up.They have a few exceptional therapists, and it may take more than one visit to find your personal preference.

I live in Chicago and am currently visiting my family here in the east brunswick , nj area. My husband last week signed me up for a massage for my birthday ....I had Ebonnie ....who was amazing ....I decided before I left to book her for the following week , which was yesterday. God knew I would need it....I ended up pinching a nerve in my neck and was in desperate need of a massage. Ebonnie was amazing!!!! She totally understands the muscles ...she happily will stay targeting the area I ask ....let me tell you ...I had a level 10 pain before going to her yesterday ....due to it I hadnt slept in a few days because the pinched nerve hurt and caused my arms and hands to fallasleep ....after I left my 90 min massage with her....I felt so much better and relaxed....pain and handling my active 3 year old and no sleep had me in almost tears ....last night I was able to finally sleep thanks to Ebonnies amazing work. I have already booked an appointment with her next week again and will do so one more time after that until I leave back home. Ive already referred her to my sister that lives here and will look into seeing her availability for my husband . If ebonnie worked at the massage envy where live ...I would have never ended my membership. Add an extra plus for how nice she is. 10 stars for ebonnie!!!!

From the limited reviews it seems as though their massages are worth while. However, after scheduling three weeks in advance, and with a confirmation the day before, they call/text me to cancel my appointment 3 hours before Im supposed to go in to tell me they had to cancel because my scheduled massage therapists came down with the flu so they unfortunately had to reschedule. I understand things like this happen, plus they upgraded me to an aromatherapy massage which I appreciated. I rescheduled for another appointment about 2.5 weeks after that. I get a text confirmation the evening before and I think Im all set to go! Again, on the day of my appointment, 3 hours before, they call/text me to say that now ALL of their massage therapists have the flu and Ill have to reschedule again. This is just poor customer service. I dont know whos handling their schedule, but you cant keep using the flu as an excuse. Not only did I not make another appointment, but Id be wary to go them anyway if their staff just consistently gets the flu. :/

Maybe dont schedule people over someone who books in advance massage envy!? I will never book another appointment, or recommend them to anyone. I will be sure to share my experience with everyone!

Ive been trying a new therapy, cupping, which is recommended by Ebonnie. I feel better and adjusting to the skin discoloration, since I have sensitive skin.

Very Unprofessional Place!I applied to Massage Envy about 52 days ago. I went on my first interview soon after I applied then they asked me to come in for a second interview about 2-3 weeks later. They apologized for taking so long to bring me in for the second interview and they said they would be in touch with me in a few days. I waited and I did not receive not a call or email so I called them myself and they said they would contact me within a week because they were still doing interviews. I waited a week and still did not hear back from them. I believe I called again the following week and they told me the same thing again so again, I waited a week. I stopped calling because clearly they were not going to contact me and I did not want to work for a place that is so unprofessional. They didnt even have the courtesy to contact me letting me know that they hired someone else or something. I was actually very excited for this job but now Im glad I chose somewhere else to work. My current job gives me higher base pay and I dont have to work weekends or nights like I wouldve at Massage Envy.

I had Robinson today not really friendly and not enough care in the massage. I felt like he was rushing in the areas I needed more attention. He spent a lot of time rubbing my head and shoulders then my back thats very tense and my legs which I stand all day everyday. He shoves the roller under your legs and he never wiped the oil off my body very upsetting. Its hard to swallow 50 bucks for a massage I didnt like and I dont want to be rude. Very difficult experience from my first time, I had Daniel O my first time he was great.

I went to this place on Mothers Day 12th May 2013. The reception has bunch of mean women who try to sell you the membership. Since I didnt want one, I denied straight away and when you do that, they will make a strange face as if you have really disappointed them.The massage was less than average and the therapist massaged for less than 50 minutes. She started at 2:20 PM and ended just before 3PM. I understand that for an hour massage, its only 50 mins but why cut that short as well.After the massage I was asked whether I wanted to leave gratuity which I said yes - 20%. My massage was $50 and they charged me $20 in gratuity!! When I saw this, they said its standard. The women at the reception started to giggle which made me uncomfortable. They kept on saying that the next time you come, you will have to pay $98 since you are not a member. The tone was rude which really put me off.Since I will not be visiting this place ever and surely would never recommend, I thought to hell with these unprofessional women. Its not like I will see them every week.IIn my opinion this place is uninviting, the therapist tries to steal your massage time and the overall experience was just poor and uncomfortable.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I received a massage as a gift and signed up for their membership. I did not go much and ended up moving out of state. I called to cancel after the 12 month agreement and they said no problem you have 60 days to use or lose them. that was in Novmeber. Then they charged me in December, January, February and now March. Every month i call and say you did it again, they would blame their SYSTEM. I just called and said listen i have called every month since Dec and is getting to be ridiculous. Again the girl said oh its a system glitch or error. She said a refund would be coming, at this point i said i want the account wiped from your SYSTEM and i will waive the remaining massages as at this point i dont care to ever use the services again and surely wont refer anyone to do so. If you like headaches and money taken out from your account after you cancel your services by all means this is for you.

I froze my account due to Covid. They unfrozen it and charged it without my verbal consent. I called twice in August stating I do not want my card to be charged, I havent used the service ONCE this year and they continued to charge my card. Its pathetic and embarrassing that they resort to these tactics to stay in business. SHAME.

First things first - poor to fair is the lowest ratings that one can give on this site so please be cognisant of the other ratings on this site.Here are the main issues that I had:1. The membership that they offer is like quick sand - for those of you who dont know what that it - the more you try to get out the more you get stuck!! You get locked in a period of one year to pay the dues that you owe PERIOD!!!!2. They wont lie to you before you become a member but they wont tell you the whole truth either i.e. when you sign up you will never realize that you have signed on a piece of paper that says that you are liable to pay the membership (almost $65) every month even if you dont think that you need a massage every month.3. The most exciting news comes at the end of the prison term . You think you have paid every month for a whole year but guess what.......once you cancel your membership you cant avail of the massages that you already paid for!!!4. But hey, here is the bright side, you can....at this massage center....but here is the problem...they will work with you on a case by case basis!!!5. If you are the kind of person that keeps tabs and the end of your 12 months of sentencing you will get out....well guess not.....if you didnt let them know immediately the day after your payment....you pay for the next month....because you have already initialed againt a line that says.....you need to give us a 30 day notice before you cancel your membership....after you have been a member for a year of course.6. If you are a person truly in need of a massage every month then this location is ok....but I have another experience to cite in that regard. The first few months that I was there I got the sugar coated Hello Mr. M how are you today followed by a We are ready for you. You have a prepaid massage. Would you like to leave a tip for your therapist today A tip before the services is something that I have never heard of but this is another money making tactic.7. There are number of spas out there who offer excellent care at a much lower price....see your local groupons and livingsocials.All in all....in my honest opinion....please avoid this massage envy. I cannot comment on any other massage envys but hopefully I gave you some points to consider.
