My massage with Sol was actually pretty good. However I agree with some of the other reviews that the place needs to invest some into the ambiance and quality of the items they use. What really kind of bothered me though was the fact that when I booked online it was under an $80 intro offer, as this was my first massage here or with massage envy. However it wasn’t until after my massage that they told me that this is a franchised location and they don’t offer it. Stating there was an asterisk online to that price. It just felt a little scammy, in my opinion they should be super up front about that. I wouldn’t have come here otherwise and won’t come back because it felt like they were trying to hide that…

The staff are very nice and helpful, the massage I received was very lovely. However, the facility itself is fairly rundown(raggedy blankets/sheets, towels that feel like dishrags, dirty walls/floors: generally just looks and gives a dingy feeling), and this makes it less of a relaxing, inviting experience in my opinion. The pricing is so similar to that of actual spas in this area that it makes no sense that the ambiance and environment should be so gritty here.

Please beware of their card promotions aka scams! My mom was taken advantage of and overcharged when redeeming her Mother’s Day gift card/promo with them. What was supposed to be a nice and relaxing gift turned into a stressful ordeal that has yet to be resolved. I have been placed on a callback list many times now asking for a manager to call me and no one has. It has been 4 weeks now! Getting in touch with a manager or owner is impossible. Stay away! They are unethical and need to better train their staff.

If you’re considering getting a massage I highly recommend to go with Tanisha!! It was my first time going to her and I’m so glad I did because now I know who to go with whenever I’m having back pain. Her hands are magical and knew the right pressure to use on me. I can say that I’ve never had a massage feel that wonderful before!

I have been a member of Massage Envy for a year now and always look forward to my next massage with Tanisha and I am never disappointed. While I am in her hands she takes away my troubles at least for a little while. I highly recommend pampering yourself with a relaxing massage from Tanisha. You may just get hooked like I did.

I had to cancel an appointment due to health issues and they took half of my deposit I had for it. They stated that if you cancel after 24 hours there is a cancelation fee. The kicker is I had made the appointment the day before, less than 24 hours before, and was never warned or told about this cancelation fee. This place is a scam. If I could rate it zero stars I would. I recommend finding somewhere else to get a massage. Screw massage envy.

Had my first visit back to Massage envy since the Covid shut in and boy I was SO PLEASED with Veronica and the work she did. My husband recommended her so I took the bait and made an appointment. She was very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable!!! I was also happy to hear that she had many years of experience as well. She’s a great asset and HUGE blessing for massage envy and all her clients. There should be masseuses like her. Great job Veronica!! I WILL see you again soon!! :o)

One of the best Massage envy’s in Elk Grove. Brandon and staff are so pleasant every visit especially front desk. A few hiccups but they always exceed expectations so kudos to this location on making me happy every visit. As I’m sure it’s the same for others.

For a one hour massage, Khang was ver, good. I’m not sure about massage thru the sheet and light blanket and the use of gloves but Khang found the hot spots and worked to smooth them out. Thanks, Khang!

Veronica is an amazing therapist and my pinched nerve issues in my neck, which cause pain and tingling in my back and arms, cleared up within days after a visit to her. She is also very personable and friendly, along with the front-desk staff. I appreciate that the front-desk staff are all knowledgeable and professional about the services offered.

Friendly staff, clean environment, prompt service. I receive regular massages from Maria. I am not a chatty person during massages. A good massage for me is one that you relax enough that you start to doze off. Mission accomplished with Maria. Plus she gets at my deep knots in my upper back/neck!

Kim was so good for my body she knows what you need and she’s experienced in her field. My 1st meet with her was so impressive and I look forward to returning for my next massage with her. I felt so good afterwards. I went in feeling so stiff and out of whack but I left feeling like I could skip around - so much energy felt. 😊

My massage therapist, Maria, was excellent. I definitely would book her again. However I was disappointed that I could literally hear the conversation that was going on next door in the other massage room. The wall is like a make-shift wall. It felt like they were literally in the same room as us. For that reason, it made my massage very much less enjoyable.

My first time and had a wonderful massage. Olivia was awesome, listened, and applied massage accordingly. I enjoyed it and became a member ❤️

My experience with Khang was great! He is very passionate about helping resolve your therapy needs and communicates throughout the massage to make sure you are comfortable with the pressure given.I definitely will continue with him!

My therapist was Kim. She did an excellent job, her technique were great. She paid attention to my feet, back, arms and it was a very good massage . I was relaxed. I highly recommend Kim!

The staff was wonderful , as was Tanisha. I asked for the best deep tissue masseuse and that is exactly what I got. Tanisha took the time to work the areas I wanted her to concentrate on. I walked in there on a friends transfer of credit and walked out being a member because I knew I would be coming back to this location and to Tanisha.

My therapist was I believe Tanika, (spell check) I probably spelled her name wrong, she was awesome. She deserves a bonus. Very satisfied with her. Maybe it’s spelled Tanisha, anyway, she was awesome.

Khang continues to do an amazing job. I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated when I head out the door even after 3 days in a row of 16hr shifts. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Front desk team members are pleasant and attentive and Olivia (massage therapist) was great! Her pressure was firm and she was able to massage all of my knots out!

This was a great experience. Thought I was going to have to go the chiropractor, but by the time Khang finished my pain was gone. The staff was great, the establishment is very clean and everyone was friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back!

Kim is the best. She has magic hands. I started there by doing a full body stretch then been doing bi weekly massages after that. Thankful for everything she does to help my body heal from my workouts.

I am currently in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. I have been going to Veronica for prenatal massages for more than half my pregnancy now. She is absolutely amazing. She is very knowledgeable about what to do and not to do for a woman during pregnancy. If you need a prenatal massage or just a massage in general, book with Veronica!

I have been going to the Elk Grove Florin location for two years now because of Angel. He is the best massage therapist I have ever had. I’ve seen a lot of massage therapists at different Massage Envy locations and he is by far the most talented. He listens to what you need and he also tries new techniques that you may not have thought of. He is extremely knowledgeable about how muscles in the body work and what areas need more attention based on certain pain points. He just seems to know exactly what to try and every session is a little different depending on what I need. He is the best. Tanisha is my favorite, her massages are so relaxing I tend to fall asleep and wake up feeling so refreshed.I have tried other masseuses at this location but ultimately came back to her because she provides the best full body massage.

I’ve been going to Massage Envy for years ever since it was located at Elk Grove and Franklin. The new location is awesome and is right next to my gym (total convenience). Robyn, my masseuse, is awesome! She is polite, very receptive to my needs and targets key areas that need attention (shoulders and back for me). I was so relaxed I fell asleep! I am a long time customer and will definitely continue my membership.

This location is easy to get to and easy to park and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Veronica is an awesome massage therapist! She continuously listens to your concerns and really reads what your body is telling her! Hats off to Veronica!

Ive been having pain around my elbow & down my arm which Dr. diagnosed as tendonitis. Tanisha worked on my arm and I left feeling so much better. My arm is still bothering me but the pain is not as intense. I will continue to see Tanisha, shes awesome!

Ive been going here for 4 years. I love Ge... he is great and works those deep tissue spots without making you sore the next day. Some times when a massage therapist does deep tissue you can barely move the next day but Ge is the opposite of that. He finds all the knots and tense muscles and works them out without being sore.I also love the manager Marissa! She is so friendly and genuine and knows you by name! When you walk in, she makes you feel like an old friend.

I had a Cervical Fusion. My muscles are consistently tight, stress only makes it worse & I’m in pain most of the time. I was told I would need massage therapy for the rest of my life. I’ve been to several different areas to use Massage Envy. I’ve had several different therapists. My favorite is this facility! Most of all, my favorite therapist is Khang! His technique is unique & has given me the most relief from my pain & helps relax my muscles. I would highly recommend Khang to anyone but, if you have had any kind of spinal surgery, I’m confident that Khang will be able to help you feel better. I had 60 minutes appointment with Khang, I didnt realize that i would love it so much. It was amazing , I didnt want to leave. Felt like a newborn baby after. Highly recommended!

Not even sure where to start! I have no complaints against the massage itself, but everything that happened afterwards. I made an appointment over the phone for a 60-minute massage, and was quoted $70 for being a first-time guest. This pricing is also listed on their website. After my massage, they proceed to charge me $120 because Im not a member and they do not offer introductory rates at this location. How was I supposed to magically know this when the person I spoke to AND their website both stated $70?!The assistant manager kept me on hold for the longest time and then proceeded to tell me that he remembered talking to me and quoting me $120. You literally dont even know my name yet you remember talking to me? Right. This location is exactly what customer service is NOT supposed to be about.Please take your hard-earned money elsewhere as this location likes to swindle you if youre not a member. Absolutely ludicrous.

Maria works very hard and is comprehensive. She helped me get a lot of mobility back to my frozen shoulder, as well as my back and legs feeling better.

Home location is Davis, CA but can never get evening appointments there. I decided to book in Elk Grove. My masseur was Kang, for deep to firm pressure. That dude intuitively knows the areas in your body to get your locked up energy and blood flowing. I felt actually GOOD physically when I left. Tipped that guy $25 for a 60 min massage and I do NOT do that! The facility just needs a face lift inside, this has nothing to do with Kang.

The therapist wore latex gloves without telling me and 1) it was a very uncomfortable and loud massage and 2) I have a latex allergy and went home with a rash all over my body and needing medicine. I’m now itchy and uncomfortable for the Christmas weekend. I called to notify the location when I got home and they said they couldn’t refund my massage because I have a membership. Needless to say I will be canceling my membership and not returning to Massage Envy.

Front desk staff is very friendly and quick. They are helpful and knowledgeable about their products.My favorite therapist is Charles! He listens to my needs and applies the perfect pressure...medium-firm. I always feel rejuvenated when I leave.

I have been a member for 5 years now, and have been worked on by many different massage therapists during those years, but the best therapist Ive had is Khang. Now, I only see him. I understand that by mentioning his name, it will be harder to get a booking with him, but I want to share him with you, so you could also experience how wonderful he is.

I went in December the 4th and I had Tanisha as my message therapist she was extremely kind and was very good at listening to my needs. But Danielle and the other receptionist were very rude and completely unprofessional to my Fiancé. They were not clear on the price when we called and after we got there He tried to communicate with the receptionist about his price. ( trying to charge him 115$ for 35 minutes). Then when we did not come to a resolution the manger told us “ we can just go somewhere els “. This was not high end quality service.

Tadario was amazing! He asked and then LISTENED to what areas of concern should be focused on. He made sure I was comfortable and the pressure he used was just right!!

I have had the best massage there by the massage technician named Ge Yang. He does great therapy (deep tissue) work for problem areas of the back and neck that are really sore. I live with chronic pain from serving and being injured in the military; and Ge is a professional massage technician who is very courteous, respectful and friendly. He is the best therapist that has worked on my back and neck. I would 100% recommend him to everyone!Robert

Lisa Jackson is my go to girl. If you see my yelp, I hardly write reviews but when I do...its because I really just need to recognize an individual. I AM VERY iffy about prenatal massages, but Lisa delivered! Call ahead because my girl gets booked out fast so I always need to book weeks in advance. Try Lisa, she will alleviate those knots and unwind your body!

Khang is a superb therapist. He always tailors my massages to how I’m feeling and where I need the most attention. I don’t go to anyone else anymore!

Got a massage for my birthday. My masseuse, Khang was awesome. I felt comfortable and he talked me through the session....asking if I was ok, too much pressure etc. I had so many stress knots everywhere that I had no idea were there. Even gave me tips on purchasing certain equipment for my chair to help with my back while working as Im on the computer all day. Great experience. I plan on returning.

Khang is amazing!!!! He listens to all of your needs. He is attentive, passionate and truly takes pride in his profession. Ive been going to him for about a year now and he has never disappointed me yet. I love deep tissue massage, he works on every knot as though its a challenge. My experiences have always been A+ from my masseur Khang to all the support staff!! I highly recommend booking a session at their Elk Grove-Florin Rd location.

First of all, the staff is Awesome. They call to remind you of any accrued visits. She was able to fit me in that day. And then there was “B.” He is clearly passionate about what he does and he worked deeper in areas that needed it. However, I felt no pain. I have never felt disoriented after a massage like I did after “B” and I’m ok with that. That just means he did what my body needed.

Have been seeing Kang for the past year or two. His deep tissue massages are amazing! Kang and the team at Massage Envy Elk Grove Florin earn my highest recommendation.

I made an appointment for therapy and arrived there 15 minutes early as they requested. While in the treatment room and after explaining my symptoms, the Therapist determined that my lower back was the only area that had to be treated, and because of that she told me to remove only my shirt before the therapy. As soon as I started pulling my shirt over my head, the Therapist started to leave the room. When I asked her where she was going the she said, The rules require her to leave when the patient is getting undressed, and then she closed the door behind herself.After waiting in the treatment room by myself for about 5 minutes, the Therapist returned to only say, I had to go to the front desk, where I was told by Alyssa that I could not have the therapy because I had made the Therapist uncomfortable. I was shocked to say the least, and ask Alyssa what I had done to cause this, but she refused to answer that question at least 5 times. Finally after I had asked Alyssa several times for the number of her district manager, she told me she was the district manager. I then the asked for the Corporate phone number and was given what I hoped was the Corporate number. After about 20 minutes of standing about 4 feet across the counter from Alyssa while asking what I had done to the Therapist to make her uncomfortable, Alyssa reminded me that I had not put my mask back on after taking it off to remove my shirt earlier. Once again I was shocked that they did not remind me of this important requirement, and when I asked her why she had waited so long to remind me, Alyssa said that she could see how upset I was of not getting my scheduled therapy, and that she did not want to upset me any further. I told them that Im 65 years old and that my safety from covid is much more important than not getting my therapy. She didnt seem to care very much with that statement. Finally after asking one last time about how I made the Therapist uncomfortable, Alyssa told me it was because I took my shirt off in the thereapy room while the Therapist was still in the room.. At that I explained again to Alyssa that the Therapist asked me to remove my shirt, and never explained the rules untill my shirt was almost off my body. It did not matter apparently, because not only did she still refuse to provide me therapy after I had taken the afternoon off, but she also put me on a (DO NOT SERVICE LIST) for all of the 172 Massage Envy stores in California. Which I only found out when I tried to set up an appointment with another Massage Envy Store in Mid Town Sacramento. That Mid Town Store gave me the right number for the Corporate office, which I submitted via voice mail a complaint. Still here I am with back issues and a wasted afternoon, plus Im on the ( DO NOT SERVICE LIST) of any California Massage Envy.

Always have such a great experience with any of the staff at the Calvine location. First time for a chemical peel. Christy was awesome and explained the entire process very thoroughly. She was patient and did a great job of reducing my anxiety. Scheduled another appointment for four weeks out. Looking forward to it. Wish it was a little longer for two credits. Even a credit and a half.

Tanisha is wonderful. I recommend everybody go to see Tanisha. The perfect pressure and got my knots out I left relieved of the back pain I came in with.

Chang is excellent! He is a wizard with the tension relief device and can sense exactly where the tight muscles are. He is friendly, professional, and courteous. The receptionist, McKenzie, was equally proficient and courteous My experience was stress less as I had hoped for!

Used a gift card I received from one of my clients. got a 60min body message and to be honest it felt rushed! This was my first message ever and I still feel tense in a lot of areas! I will try a diff therapist next time in hopes that I can receive a more relaxed and intense message! :( unfortunately I’m not happy!

I get massages in world class spa’s when I travel. The massage I received from Hannah today was as good or better than any $250 massage I’ve ever had. I immediately booked a second massage and regret that I live in New York City and not Elk Grove just to have access to such a talented therapist.

5 stars for Khang, but price and other factors diminish the rating.

Back I December I needed a gift for someone who was coming to visit unexpectedly. I thought the store closed at 10 pm. When I called to confirm I found out it closed at 8:30. It was 8:15. I wasn’t sure if I could get there in time. I told Natasha and Aneesah that I was still coming (maybe I could make it in time). I was on my way and I got a call saying to come down they would stay open. I was so pleased. I did make in time to the store (by minutes) but now they still had to do the transaction.I want to say thank you so much for staying😊😊😊. Went yesterday for a 60 minute massage and Kim was my therapist. She was amazing and I couldnt recommend her enough!

Booked an online appointment. When I got there the lady at three desk could not find the appointment, she was rude and rolling her eyes. I showed her the confirmation on my phone and she said sometimes the online appointments dont hit their system. I went down the street and was seen right away for half the price. Im glad that happened as I found an amazing place to go!

Good place for relaxing your mind and body. I have been here for few times Angel is the best massager lot of knowledge about human body and muscles, I have back and neck pain for some time. She is the best.

They continue to try and charge my card on file.I have cancelled my account with this location twice now.The first time I was understanding of the mistake and paid for the four months they had continued to charge my account after I closed it.The next time they called saying I owed I had my dad go in to the location and cancel in person since I no longer live in the area.Today they called again saying I owe two months. I never had an issue with any of the massage therapists, but the management at this location is obviously incompetent.

Saw Robyn today. She was great. Right pressure and did a great job working my neck, back and shoulders. Booked another session with her.

Management at this location is terrible. Ive tried to cancel my account and they freeze it for me.They say I have 4 months of overdue charges now. I got ZERO NOTICE about these charges... no call, no email... nothing for 3+ months.Going to cancel my account in person this time and report them to the Better Business Bureau if they try to charge me for all 4 months that I got ZERO notification about.

I had a facial 2 and a half weeks ago and Ive been using the murad products that they recommended (Clarifying cleanser, Lightening gel, and Oil control mattifier). Im not really sure if Im purging (when your skin gets worse before it gets better) or breaking out because I read it somewhere purging occurs after 3 weeks and it clears up after 4 weeks. My skin is full of bumps and acne right now :(
