Spavia Day Spa - Greenwood Village

Ive been going here for 2 years with Elliot taking care of me. By far the best massage therapist Ive ever had! As an athlete, a monthly deep tissue massages has been the best thing for my recovery. Its been a game changer to have a massage therapist that is extremely skilled but also very knowledgeable about the body in an athletic context. Unfortunately Im moving away, but I couldnt be more thankful for him and the team at Spavia.

The spa itself seems nice- nice products in the lobby and a friendly face at the desk checked us in. That’s where it ends. When I made my appointment, someone typed in my phone number wrong, so I was unable to complete my forms ahead of time because they could not find my file based on the fact that my phone number was in the system wrong. Not very helpful. My massage therapist, Scooter, did ask me about my concerns, And I truly believe he meant to address them. He just completely missed the mark. We were probably 10 minutes in and I kept thinking- “okay, now he is going to start rubbing”. Never happened. He told me that he could feel my muscles reacting and calming down, but all the while I never felt like he had is hands in the right places to release my tightness. There was no stroking, only deep pushing on areas that seemed to completely miss any pressure points. I actually had to ask him when we would be done. Such a bummer.

I guess, for one, you are not a member of anything if you think you are a member of a spa.The lingo in these reviews can be misleading.We dont use Groupon or any other membership discount when looking for a good service to try.Gift cards are great, but when the UPS store is right next door, we just pack and ship.Next.

My new favorite place! I received a gift card for Spavia over the holidays and tried this location. Now I’m a repeat customer, love it here! Management and estheticians are so talented and professional. I desperately needed a facial and my microderm results were PHENOMENAL. Comfortable, relaxing, and effective. Thank you all so much for your amazing work

For a first ever massage, this is a great place to go! The atmosphere, staff, and the experience all come together.

Every time going into this place and call to schedule an appointment dont have any time available at all. Amanda said she cant schedule any appointments. I did forgive Amanda for myself because I went to another Spavia Day Spa it was excellent working. God bless this company and pray for Amandas communication skills. Im not the type of person that normally posts reviews, but the experience I just had needs to be heard.I got two treatments - a massage and a facialThe massage 1/5 stars - it was done by Vanessa. Right off the bat she was a little abrasive in the way she talked. Before the massage began we talked a little bit about the details of my massage and I felt like she was annoyed the entire conversation. The massage was sub par and not relaxing at all. She yanked on the sheets and blankets every time she moved them, she was not gentle when she moved me, when I was to turn over she threw the whole blanket over my head and then barely lifted the blankets to help me turn over. When she put the bolster back under my legs, the sheets and blankets got tangled in it so one leg was on the bolster, one leg wasnt and the worst part...SHE FELL ASLEEP, not once but TWICE while she was giving me my massage. How does that happen you ask? She was sitting down and massaging my neck (which is normal) when her hand started to slow down and eventually came to a stop, for more than a few seconds, I opened my eyes, looked over and I kid you not she was asleep. I thought I was being crazy, but then she moved to the other side of the bed to do the other side of my neck and it happened AGAIN. I wish I was joking, but I should have been clued in when during the first half of my massage she couldnt stop yawning. I have never had such a careless, thoughtless, rough massage.After the massage I went back to the relaxation room (which is freezing by the way) and waited to go for my facial. I was nervous that it would be similar to the experience.Facial 5/5 stars - done by Molly. I cannot say enough good things about Molly. She was kind, gentle with her words, and my experience getting a facial with her was one of the best Ive ever had. Her hands are so gentle and incredibly soft, I love all the small details she put into the facial (like touching the side of my head before she touched my face so that I wasnt startled). Explaining what she was doing and making sure that my experience with her was great. Thank you Molly for doing what you do, you definitely made a difference in my experience again.Overall, I would only go back to see Molly, she was amazing, beyond amazing.Im shook by that massage. Thank god Molly came in to save the day.

Front desk staff was extremely welcoming and sweet; the dressing room and waiting room were very cozy and comfortable. I have been getting massages from Jess for years now and I absolutely love her. Even though I am quite young, I have very tight muscles, everywhere, and she is always super patient with them. First time I had been to a spa to see Jess, and I was not disappointed in any way at all. I had an amazing time!! I will definitely be going again soon.

This used to be one of my favorite places to relax. I don’t know what happened, but I ended up canceling my membership because I pay every month, but I can only get an appointment every 2-3 months lately. The last facial I booked got canceled less than 24 hours before the appointment. The previous facial almost got canceled on the same day, except I put my foot down and they somehow miraculously found an available aesthetician. An attempt to book a couple’s massage with my husband ended with us getting appointments on two different DAYS two months from the time I called, and a suggestion from the lady who helped me to use the website for booking next time. Sorry what? Isn’t it her job?Not wanting to deal with this, I am going elsewhere.

Always have a great experience at Spavia. I have had several massages and facials there, all have been fantastic. Nice relaxing atmosphere and friendly people. They have a great monthly membership as well!

The team here is wonderful. I had a couple issues making it to my appointments and they accomidated me to the best of their ability with empathy and understanding. Ive only had one other facial in my entire life and left feeling heavily caked in stinky product that did not make me feel good, refreshed or cleaner. This experience was SO much different. Melanie was so sweet and warming, she didnt use products that made me feel heavy and they werent stinky. She cleaned up my blemishes and made my skin feel so so soft. I will definately be back as much as I can. Very very happy, will recommend.

I came in with my partner for a couples massage and it was a wonderful experience. The facility is very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The masseuses were nice and well trained. We had a gift card and also purchased a membership, but we couldnt purchase the membership with the gift card, which is understandable, but the receptionist charged both our massages and the membership to my credit card instead of putting the massages on the gift card so that was kind of a pain to get sorted out. Luckily, Lisa, the manager there was very helpful and understandable. After a couple days of looking into the problem she was able to get me my money back. Even with this minor issue, I would still recommend using Spavia. My partner used to belong to Massage Envy and we had a terrible experience there. My partner has highly commended Spavia as the better spa :)

Had a fantastic experience! Love the ambiance and service, and really enjoy that they have both a changing area with robes as well as a lounge until the masseur is ready for you.Also, Jessica is incredible and will definitely be back!

I have been a member for many years. A lot of changes over the years, but have always had good experiences. Elliot is an amazing therapist!

Called Spavia to see if they could squeeze me in quickly. I was in severe shoulder/neck pain and am 34 weeks pregnant- the severity was rising and I was trying to find a place that could help ASAP. They got me in immediately which was so awesome. I saw Oscar- I was reluctant to have a male do the massage due to some past trauma, but I ended up giving it a shot and he was incredible. The day after the massage, the pain was completely gone. He also showed me some techniques for maintenance on the area since I guess it was pretty messed up. Oscar was very kind, warm hearted, and made you feel at ease and at home.At the end of the appointment, I went ahead and scheduled another massage but for an hour this time. At the time of scheduling, the young lady up front failed to inform me there is a $44 fee for no shows- which I understand the fee completely. Well, I had an emergency the day of the appointment and had to go to the hospital because my doctor thought I was in preterm labor with severe contractions; couldn’t even drive. Unfortunately, because I was in the middle of dealing with the chaos of this emergency, it slipped my mind to reschedule the massage. They went ahead and charged me $44. I called them to tell them to check their cameras from when I was in last time scheduling this appointment and they will see no one told us about this fee. Not only that, but I was in the middle of a pretty serious emergency. I felt I was a pretty easy going client and even tipped Oscar half of what I paid for for the massage, and was planning on being a regular and getting massages weekly-bi weekly. Extremely disappointed by this service. Super bummed because I really enjoyed my massage but won’t be coming back due their lack of sensitivity to an emergency situation.

This spa lived up to the reputation. Very relaxing, clean, professional staff who are experts at what they do. I got a massage and facial and they were just what I wanted and expected. They have so many options of treatments and products depending on any need or skin type. Due to Covid, they aren’t allowing as much as normal (using shoes, sauna, robes, etc.) but I was lucky they were even taking appointments at all. I can’t wait to schedule another appointment soon as another personal treat.

Ive been a Spavia member since 2011. Its the best thing I do for my body every month! Sean and Samantha are our favorites, but all the massage therapists there are awesome! Membership is very affordable, about the price of dining out. Go see the folks at Spavia; you wont regret it!

This was my first visit for a massage and facial, and Im in my 1st trimester of pregnancy. After I filled out my paperwork, indicating that I was in my 1at trimester, the massage therapist took me back but didnt mention anything about my pregnancy - I thought nothing of it. When the gal took me back for the facial, she discussed facials during pregnancy, and was very informative and helpful. After my services were complete and I was checking out, the receptionist informed me that my massage was comped because they do not provide massages for women in their 1st trimester. She didnt explain the reason why, so after I left I researched the implications, and found that most therapists dont provide these services during the 1st trimester because of the increased risks of miscarriage. While I appreciate the massage being comped, this in no way compensates for the destructive way of operating the business. Neither the receptionist nor the massage therapist read the paperwork, especially as a first time guest, as neither of them made any mention of my condition and the potential effects of massage. This was completely irresponsible and destructive by all parties, including management. While management approved the comp for the massage, I didnt see or speak to the manager. They didnt even explain their reasoning - I had to research it after the fact for myself. Absolutely dissatisfactory and unacceptable.

Ive been employed here for about 1 year, and I can genuinely say - in my almost 5 years in the industry I have never been happier!Our managers and owners are respectful of us and our needs, our team works incredibly well together, and I can tell that my fellow coworkers love and commit to their work. I feel lucky to be a part of this Spavia location

My 1st time ever getting a massage and this place was awesome! Everyone is so nice and Samantha was great she worked out a lot of tension and pain that I had from my pregnancy. I will definitely be back to see her!!

Tara is the best massage therapist I’ve ever gone to! She works out all the tightness in my neck and shoulders and I feel so much better after seeing her. I would recommend her to everyone!

I absolutely love seeing Jess at this spa. I have gotten many massages in the past from various people but Jess is definitely THE BEST!! She truly has a gift in what she does and I will continue coming back over and over again to get my massages from her.

I was super excited when I got my gift card for Spavia . I booked my appointment for a one hour signature massage.The actual massage was very unsatisfactory. The masseuse asked me what areas to work on, and really didnt work on those areas. her time management and spendingtoo much time on certain parts. and I had to remind her to actually massage my feet.for a spa that specializes in massages and other features, I was blown away by how little my masseuse had a knowledge for an actual full body massage with in 60 minutes.I will not be recommend a massage at the spa.

My wife has a membership here and booked me a 1hr full body the day I arrived in town (after 20hrs of driving). Oscar was great and it was nice to have my body not tied up into one big knot. Two weeks later I also had a facial done and was extremely pleased by the service.

ALWAYS a wonderful experience. Warm, clean locker room and plenty of great smelling shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Very comfortable wait area and hot or cold water for yummy tea. I LOVE the piano music!

I scheduled a couples massage for me and my husband and hours before the appointment they called and canceled. They stated a therapist called in sick. I understand that things happen, but how do you not have someone in call in such instances. Very disappointed

I love this place. The tea, robes, relaxation room, abundance of services, different smells to choose from, and variety of music to pick. It offers a great relaxation in the city. I have recommended the spa to friends and family time after time for over 10 years.

First time I went it was a great massage. So I went back expecting the same. But it kind of felt like a waste of money the second time. I felt like the massage therapist didnt know what he was doing and was just guessing. What a bummer...

I get a weekly massage to maintain my mobility. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to accommodate me. I am always treated like royalty at the Spavia in Greenwood Village.
