Massage Envy

Mom and I have been clients at Massage Envy since 2008. Over the years, we have had wonderful therapists with varying techniques at several locations nationwide and from which both our health and well-being have benefited. Unfortunately, the pandemic brought all of that to a standstill. Now, four years later, I decided - on a whim - to call the Stonebriar Frisco Location. Kaylee efficiently handled everything over the phone regarding membership restart and scheduled our appointments with our therapists after asking us our pressure preference (I opted for firm and Mom opted for medium). She also explained everything from freezes to cancellations and took us through step-by-step to ensure we understood the terms and conditions of our contract.The massage itself was much needed and long overdue. It was also the best I have ever received. Bobby went right to work on my problem areas utilizing trigger point therapy. He applied firm pressure at all times and communicated with me throughout the 60-minute session. It is fortunate for me that he specializes in sports medicine. I tend to get migraines occasionally; oftentimes triggered by certain foods and/or scents or strong perfumes. It was refreshing to find someone after a 4-year hiatus that was well in tune to my requests on the very first interaction, and I do plan to return.Mom said that she enjoyed her 60-minute session with Jennifer and that she communicated with and listened to and responded to her requests.I am not a running professional by any means, but I do enjoy it in an effort to stay active and keep weight gain at bay. For a bit of background, I am a thyroid cancer survivor. I struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. In 2011, at the age of 27, I had a total thyroidectomy which resulted in the complete removal of my thyroid gland following a T2N1 Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma diagnosis. I had a 4.2 cm nodule just off the left lobe of my thyroid. Prior to my surgery, I weighed nearly 200 lbs. Three months after my surgery, I shed 30 lbs with a careful assessment of my eating habits and exercise regimen and ultimately transformed my lifestyle. 13 years later, I have reached 116 (80+ lbs lost) and only wish to maintain at this point. We eagerly anticipate our next visit (already scheduled with Bobby and Jennifer) and every visit thereafter.

Giving Chelsey the massage therapist 5 stars. She is a great therapist, caring, and kind. Easy to chat with. Always left improved physically and mentally. I have not been to her in a few months due to Massage Envy’s membership process being a nightmare and I ended up canceling it for that reason and because my wife and I had a baby. I am wondering if Chelsey still works there. I have been looking at the schedule and there’s been no availability on her schedule. Maybe whoever reads these for Massage Envy can check on that for me. See Chelsey, you won’t regret it.

Worst experience ever! I gave a 1 star review only because the front desk staff was very nice! The massage was good but the linens smelled like mildew. I let them know and they said others had complained but it was because they are using a new cleaning company who uses a cleaning agent that smells this way. The worst part of my experience was with the store manager Toby. I was out of town so this was a one time visit so I was advised to get a membership which I obliged because I was told I could visit any massage envy. I inquired about cancellation and was told I can cancel anytime as long as it was done 10 days before my billing cycle. Once I got back to my home town I realized the location was closed permanently. I called to cancel and Toby said I could not cancel for 12 months. I asked for corporate phone number and she said there’s no corporate office and that they are a franchise with their own policies. After doing my own research I did eventually find corporate in Arizona. I then phoned Toby again and she stated there was a location within a 25 mile radius so she will not be canceling. Who drives 25 miles for a massage is what I was thinking in my head. She then said she’d cancel if I paid $280 which equals a 4 month membership fee at $70. I said ok bill me $70 for four months and cancel the membership. She said no I have to pay the full $280 now. It was finally resolved after I sent her my electricity bill proving I live outside of 25 miles. I still ended paying $50 to cancel immediately. PLEASE BE AWARE of this bait & switch tactic they are using before signing any membership agreement with them. It is my fault for not fully reading all of the paperwork thoroughly and taking their word for it.

I love Massage Envy! The service and massage therapists here are great. They have nice knowledge, really friendly and definitely want you feel great again! They will meet your needs!

Sally was great. She listened and made sure that my problem areas were addressed. The pressure was great and she kept checking in with me to ensure that she was applying the right level of pressure. My massage was great.

Worst customer service ever. I called to make appointments for two of my friends as well as myself and told them I was going to transfer two of my massages to my friends and would pay the $10 transfer fee per massage. They said that was great they booked us and when we were done, they said I could only transfer one massage. After letting them know I was not going to pay for another massage because they told me I could transfer to when I booked the massages. They charged my friend for two massages at $120 each. Needless to say I will be canceling my membership, and I highly recommend .

I had the best massage experience ever at this place! Sherry truly went above and beyond. She attentively listened to my concerns and meticulously focused on addressing my problem areas. It was evident that she was dedicated to ensuring I left without the pain I walked in with. Her skills are simply unbelievable! Even after almost a week, I still feel amazing. Thank you, Sherry, for an exceptional and rejuvenating session. I cant wait to return for another outstanding massage!

Signed up for a membership through our corporate benefits for my wife. I had to cancel the membership due to my wifes job change as she was no longer able to make any of the sessions.When cancelling, I examined the cancellation acknowledgement and clause. It mentions nothing about my wife no longer being able to use the credits since the account was under my name.When i signed up and spoke with their rep, this wasnt an issue. Also the membership was not location dependent. I was allowed to use this in any location and my wife was able to use my account, but when I called to use my 2 remaining session credits for my wife, they said I am not allowed to transfer those credits to her because I cancelled my membership. I asked very nicely if anything can be done as a workaround since I would be loosing the paid 2 Sessions since I was unable to go either and reiterated that this was not in the cancelation clause. They said no. The Manager then said that because I was signed up with the San Francisco branch, i should call and complain to them since they are just a franchise. At this point I hung up and contacted by companies benefits department.Massage Envy would not provide the service I paid for by honoring the 2 remaining sessions to be used by my wife and again, the cancellation acknowledgement does not state that it can not be transferred. It only states that we have 60 days to use the remaining accrued sessions.Very disappointed at this place. Ive requested my companys benefits department to remove this establishment as an option.

Tobi and her team were completely amazing and very helpful. Tobi personally lead me to add enhancements that tailored to the problems I have been having. 10/10 recommend this location to everyone.

The masseuse, Joe, was awesome. Was not happy with the people at the front desk. We had $240 worth of gift cards that were purchased at the same time which were also checked to confirm the balance prior to the massage. When we got out they said that two of them expired and we owed $40. Pretty sure the back of the gift cards said that they did not expire. Seemed to be a pretty shady experience for a first timer.

I loved the positive atmosphere and excellent service provided by the front desk when booking my appointment! I have never been to a massage envy before but I can definitely say I will be going back after my massage!

I have been going to this location for almost 2 years now and have been seeing Chelsey bi-weekly. Shes been awesome. Focuses on the areas that need work, and specializes in deep tissue, which Ive found over the years is really hard to find. (Seen 10+ therapists prior to her) She is hands down one of the best. I will continue going to this location for as long as she is employed - she is that good.The front desk staff has also been great. Quick to check me in and out and has a good sense of humor.

Absolutely love going to Massage Envy. Ive been a member for years, but Ive called the Stonebriar location home for about a year now. The services and customer service is always great.

I had a Microderm service by Emiley. She was amazing! She was so kind and sweet through the whole session. I definitely would recommend her for your facial services. My skin was glowing! I will be booking with her again for sure!!

I have been a loyal Massage Envy customer for the past 16 years and the front desk of this location is by far the worst. Love my massage therapist, but the front desk has no clue how to communicate to customers. Drove 20 minutes today and waited in the lobby 15 minutes just to be told my therapist called out today. Why couldnt they call and let me know before I wasted my time and gas?! Find another location to join. Youll regret this place.

I have had my share of frustrations with this location over the years. Ive even moved locations to Craig Ranch and North Frisco. Had a time issue and had to go back here. What a blessing as I had the privilege of working with Chelsea. Shes amazing! Very professional. Very thorough. She can provide a real firm massage that I havent been able to obtain from other therapists. Incredible human being as well with great personality and sense of humor. Im a little worried this review will hurt my ability to schedule with her but shes that good! If you prefer a firm massage, Chelsea is your answer.

Originally had a membership and a therapist I really liked, but she has cancelled last minute ON THE DAY OF for the past 2 months. So unprofessional and frustrating. As for the business, Don’t let them scam you into a membership because they are very aggressive about any changes to it (even due to health reasons). The management is never there and during the interactions we’ve had where she actually responds, she’s extra rude. I won’t be coming here again and recommend others don’t either unless you’re satisfied with wasting your time month after month when you can book at a place more reliable and with better customer service. Requested a call from the manager and have yet to hear anything, but they sure are quick to email me about cancelling all my unused credits!

Didn’t text or email reminder for appointment and charged me $180 without discussion. They don’t want to work, they only want to collect money.

I have been to this location I think 3 or 4 times. There’s always an issue. The first time my appointment was on a Saturday and they called me Saturday 4 hrs prior because my therapist wasn’t going ti be there. I was told they’d give me 30 minutes free. Didn’t happened. They rescheduled me for Sunday with someone else. I went Sunday and the therapist was great. I scheduled with him again. At my next appointment another reschedule. Then today I get a call that my appointment for tomorrow has been canceled because my therapist won’t be there. I told them I don’t want to reschedule. I am DONE with massage envy. I would highly recommend going elsewhere, and do not buy the membership either, just pay when you want a massage. It’s overpriced

Sherry was AMAZING! The deep tissue massage worked wonders for my body. She was attentive, kind but focused. If you are in need of an experienced massage therapist find her!

I visited Massage Envy Frisco location and my therapist was Karen and she was amazing! Shes very personable, listens to ensure shes fully aware of your areas of concern and offers suggestions to ensure your visit is a comfortable one. I will be back for sure Karen did a wonderful job I did feel much better than I did when first walking in! Thanks again Karen I will see you soon!

I was not happy that Sarah left and I really liked her technique in deep tissue massage. I tried couple and was not satisfied and was going to cancel my membership, then I had a headache and wanted to give the place one last chance and I was scheduled with Angie and I am like thank God finally. She is great and really works my back and my problem areas with the right technique and pressure.Also please clean your bathrooms. It is Covid and I really do not feel comfortable using them, which makes my massage experience not very comfortable. You are a massage place so everything should be clean and refreshing and Zen.

Chelsea was awesome. The massage pressure on my sore muscles was perfect and she worked the kinks out perfectly. She found and worked out kinks that I didnt even know I had. I walked out soooo relaxed. Ive been going to ME for about 4 years at 3 different locations, and this one was probably the best massage Ive received.

Well it was good, over I am happy but I didnt get my 50 minutes massage..I got there little late at 4:04, instead of 4 and massage started at 4:07 but therapist stopped at 4:50..Typically if appointment is at 4 then it should start at 4:05 - 4:55 to make it 50 minutes but didnt happen 😔

I’ve been going to Massage Envy for about a year and can easily say Chelsey is my favorite. She tailored the massage to my bodies needs and was very personable. Will be doing sessions with just her moving forward!

Mediocre experience. My therapist had the ability to do deep tissue as requested, however, she was so distracted with talking to me that the pressure got lighter and lighter. I was taken back 12 minutes after my appointment start time but somehow we still ended 2 minutes before the end of my 90 minute window. She then stood in the room and spoke to me even more while I lay there waiting to get dressed. I don’t mind talking but this was excessive for a massage. Part of her talking was discussing personal business with her job and her pay with them. It was definitely not professional. Overall, the facility was clean, but the customer service was lacking as a team. I’ve had great experiences at other locations, and have been a member since 2009. This day is on the list of poor experience.

It was my first time at this particular ME location. As always, the reception area was welcoming and very clean and aesthetically appealingly, not to mention conducive to a serene environment. My masseuse, Angie, was superb. It is obvious she is well versed with the musculature of the body and is a hoot to boot! She is a great conversationalist and has a soothing, nurturing, maternal energy about her. Thanks a lot! Will definitely be returning!!!

I had an appointment with May. I couldn’t believe all the work she was able to get done in 50 minutes! Honestly I was about to cancel my membership and I was trying to get all my credits used. Then I had her and well….now I’ve booked out with her for the next several sessions! She is a miracle worker!

My massage was okay. I was booked at another location with higher ratings, but the massage therapist cancelled saying she got injured. It was my birthday, so I wanted the massage, and was willing to go to another location to get it. The receptionist was good, but the massage therapist was amateur, did very little, forgot the hot towels, music player was broken, and when I asked for more firm pressure, it was the same. So, for me it wasnt worth $100 for a 90 minute massage. They also would not give me a receipt, they auto tipped him more than I said verbally at the counter and of course, I wont know that until the transaction is over and I am emailed. They can do better.

Great costumer service. Front desk was amazing. I got Chelsey as my masseuse. She was awesome. Great pressure. Body was relaxed and felt great after.

Chelsey is knowledgeable in massage techniques, and works well in the communication before the massage during and after.She listens to concerns and complaints about problem areas that need extra focus.Edit: opinion hasnt changed. Chelsey continues to be a top notch massage therapist. As I work long hrs daily I need frequent therapy to offset the wear and tear that I inflict on myself. My massage therapist works with Mt needs to help me recover quicker.

Although the massage was very good, the entire experience was not. I was at my appointed time but was not taken back until 10 after the hour. I waited for 5 minutes before my therapist came back. So at 5 until 10, she says our time is up. When I said we started late, she said the “front desk didn’t tell me you were here”. She “gave me” an extra 5 minutes but I was still short 10 minutes on my massage. I was not happy.

I had a massage today with Randi. I had some serious pain and discomfort in my left shoulder blade area for over a month. She really did a great job working it out and corrected the issue. Worth every penny!!

The entire massage experience was bad. The energy of the massage therapist was negative from the beginning. She was not professional at all although she stated she has been providing massages for decades when asked. The lotion that was used during the service was cold. When I brought it to her attention, she stated Im sorry, I guess I need to invest in a lotion warmer and proceeded to apply to my skin. She also used a rough feeling towel to remove access product from my skin after massaging each area. At the end of the massage, she stated the massage is over and proceeded to leave the room. When I attempted to get up I noticed my table was high therefore I had to jump down to get off the table and get dress. I explained my experience to the front desk and she stated she would have a Manager to give me a call to discuss.

Deanna is amazing. She will give you a deep tissue massage when you ask for it. You will be sore, but your muscles will be better. Great communication, checked in with me throughout the massage, very professional. She is there every day. Book with her!Off topic but her skin is radiant, her lashes are on point, and she gave me post session advice and aftercare instructions. 10/10 would recommend.

Envy is not my normal place that I go, but I needed to get in quickly and they were able to book me an appointment the next day. My complaint is I didnt like how it started late... Im paying for an hour so I expect if the therapist starts late that I will get the minutes added at the end. I arrived at 9:46 finished my paper work at 9:50. I was escorted back around 10:06/10:10. My appt was for 10. Then I finished a bit before 11 got changed and when I walked out I checked my phone and it was 11 on the dot. Yes its only a few minutes but Im paying for an hour so I would like the full hour. I still enjoyed the massage but probably will try another therapist next time IF I return to envy. Maybe this was just a one time thing but still.

I called last night to reserve a massage at 11 and it was confirmed. Only to arrive at 10:45 to be informed that my therapist canceled and they attempted to text me? I never received any text from massage envy and I am very upset at the lack of communication and customer service. Jeanette and the other lady at the front desk were very rude and dismissive about the situation. They didn’t seem to care at all nor did they offer any solutions. They proceeded to ignore me after letting me know that my appointment was canceled. Very disappointing first time experience with Massage Envy. The effort was not made to communicate anything to me and were not at the very least, empathy about this and it’s they’re fault.

Do not recommend doing business with this location. The manager is NEVER available- I have been trying to get in touch with this mystery woman for nearly a month to cancel my membership. And there is apparently nobody to escalate issues to above this manager. The front desk cant do anything but make appointments and take your money and at this point I have Jo clue how you can run a business with NO MANAGEMENT AVAILABLE EVER???

The team at Stonebriar Massage Envy were a pleasure to work with. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door. My massage therapist, Cory, was the blessing I did not know I needed. His 19 years of massage therapy experience was evident as he worked every knot out of this nurse’s body. The compassion and respect he showed was appreciated and evident that this is his passion and career and not just a job.

Update: Management reached out and tried to make the situation right and asked for details of my experience to ensure it does not happen to anyone again. I appreciate their customer service.Prior Review: The therapist was on his phone during the massage and for several minutes was only using one hand or the other and even paused massage at times as if he was distracted reading or replying to text messages. For paying $65 for an hour, I was not happy. He also did not take direction when I told him he could use more pressure.

Recently within the past few weeks we visited this location. We have been members for many years at the Carrollton location. My husband has had cancer and many lymph nodes removed. He benefits from a lymphatic drainage message. Carrollton location has lost their two therapist that do these so we went to the Stonebrier location where I was assured they had two also on their staff. I myself had Richard who was great. But my poor husband had a girl who did not know what she was doing and he came out in such pain. He felt worse than before his massage. When we mentioned it to the girls at the counter, he asked for his credit back please, (however, he still tipped her for her time) He was told, Well, the girl has to be paid. These were credits we had built up over time and they refuses to give one back.Today I called again to cancel upcoming appointment, I explained why and asked again for our credit be put back to our account. She said she was sorry we were apparently misinformed and they do not have anyone who does lymphatic drainage massage. She said THE GIRL WHO GAVE HIM THE MASSAGE THEY thought DID, BUT SHE APPARENTLY DOES NOT.At this point I immediately explained, if not done correctly or trained it could actually hurt someone and cause damage. I explained all we want is our credit back. A few days ago we went to the Frisco location. Told them of this experience. They were stunned that: 1. We were not given our credit back and 2. It should not have caused such pain. He saw another lymphatic therapist at Frisco and felt calm, relaxed and no pain .. Drainage successful!! This girl I spoke with today refused to give me her name, managers name and return of credit. She said the manager could do nothing. Im sure there are very good therapist there, HOWEVER, I am disappointed in the way this was handled . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. This manager, owner, therapist, and front booking staff should be ASHAMED of their way they do business with no compassion for hurting someone, lying, and refusing to make it right

Feeling so relieved after months of weight training. MAY did it for me. She’s new to this location and definitely a good one I’m so glad she’s here. I will be back next week!! Send good vibes and welcome her!!

First off, Mariah is my girl! She always pays incredible attention to detail, listening and feeling how your body responds to pressure. Does the deep pressure get intense sometimes? Absolutely. At this point, if it’s ever too much or I’m particularly sore going into it, I don’t even have to say anything. She just responds accordingly and takes care of it. Over the months I’ve been seeing her, she has helped me with so many long lasting problems from power lifting with my back and shoulders. It doesn’t hurt to just stand/sit around anymore! 😂 Plus, always a positive that she’s just a really cool person!

Mariah was awesome all around- The best deep tissue massage I’ve had in a long time! I’ll be switching locations to rebook with her. She has such a fun personality to top off the experience!

My massage experience was FANTASTIC. Steven fixed all of my knots and brought my pain level from a 10 to a 1. I was so amazed that I signed up for a membership. When I signed up they lowered my price to $55. I can t wait to refer friends and family. The front desk were the most amazing nice girls. They answered all my questions without making me feel like I was annoying. BEST MASSAGE PLACE EVER.

I absolutely love this place! The therapists here are amazing. The staff has the best customer service. Some of my favs that I have seen are Anna, Denise, and Dominic. Ive never had better, relaxing massages. Please try them out and see what Im talking about!

Daniel @ Massage Envy Stonebriar was great! If you are looking for a good back massage he is the one. His technique(using forearms) was wonderful. It gave me life! The good news he books two hour massage I will definitely be going back. Appointment made!!!!

I spoke with Massage Envy over the phone about a monthly access fee, and agreed to it. In the 4 months that I visited two different clinics, two of their therapists actually hurt me. My shoulder pain is no better than it was, so I decided to cancel. ONLY THEN did I find out that I was in a 12 month contract!! I do NOT recall anyone telline about it when I signed up, I dont recall signing ANY kind of agreement like that!! An email and 2 phone calls to their main customer service line went unanswered. Someone in the office where I signed up told me twice that she would email me a copy of the contract, but still hasnt. She also informed me there was no way to buy myself out of the contract!!! BAD BAD way to do business!!! I had to cancel my debit card to get out of paying!!

I am upgrading my review due to the fact that the manager took the time to contact me to resolve a dispute. I appreciate that. I have been coming to this location for two years using the membership and find Erick C. to be a great, highly skilled massage therapist. My other feedback is that I think the front desk assistants could use more training and experience working with and keeping customers/relationships.

No one told me when I called that she only does light pressure - I barely felt anything!!At the front people were not engaging at all! All of them were trying to solve a problem with another customer paying no attention to me at all, and I just wanted to check out. The women up front, who checked me out was not helpful at all! I’m thinking to cancel after “100 years” being a loyal customer. The worst service ever!

Michelle was very attentive and professional. My massage was very relaxing and just what I needed. Michelle can go deep or light on pressure and was very therapeutic!

Kevin was very careful with an injury I have. Looking forward to many more visits in order to get my back to feelng better with no more pain. The ladies at front desk were very pleasant and enjoyable! I Highly recommend visiting this location.

Great experience. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful on arriving and checking out. The actual massage with Kevin was one of the best I have received since moving to the DFW area four years ago.

I never had a massage before ! But Michelle was very informative and sweet and she never made me feel uncomfortable or nervous. She was awesome and the massage was awesome!

Very friendly staff. I had a bit of a wait but that had more to do with the ease in which I was able to fill out the “paperwork”. Deanna was very kind and thorough. I felt so relaxed and safe. I would definitely go back!

I was depleted of energy when I entered the business. I was able to schedule a massage for the same day. I came back for my new appointment, and they took care of me immediately. I was first sent to a calm room, where a soft music played, with waters available, and very comfortable seating, to wait for my personal message therapist. Shortly after this, she came in, kindly introduced herself, and escorted me to my room. She asked about the physical ailments and stresses.Her hands felt like a source of relief to my back and body! They work miracles on the stresses of life!

Love my massages with Sheri and Sara B. Both know exactly what is going on and help fix it. I have chronic pain in my glutes and left shoulder. They helped me understand that the body is all connected and problems that are in one area could be because of something else. They are fantastic about educating me about and fixing my problem areas. I can not recommend them enough. I will tell all of my friends and family about the work they do. Front desk staff is always welcoming me in with a smile and they know my name! I can’t wait for my next session in two weeks.

Posting this ONLY because the location text me asking me to share my comments that I had sent in text responding to their survey.Massage therapist was 5 mins late getting me from the waiting room. 5 additional mins to change clothes and wait for her return. 45 min massage (but was scheduled for 60 mins). 5 mins to get dressed and checkout.Therapist had a runny nose and wiping her nose on her sleeve throughout massage. She was not wearing a mask and given she sounded like she may be sick, Id have expected better precautions. I am not suggesting a mandate to wear a mask but rather if your therapist is under the weather, send them home.She told me that my back and shoulders were tight and she was just going to massage & focus on that. I was expecting a full body massage. She never once massaged by arms, front shoulders. She did finally massage my calves for about 2 minutes. I had to ask her if she’d work on faciatis.When she was finished, she said go ahead and get dressed. She left the room and I never saw her again. Not a thank you. Not a water (as I used to receive). Not a suggested next schedule. She literally left the room and disappeared.This was the most unprofessional, ungrateful experience ever!! Sadly, I did tip her only because I am absolutely not a person looking for a freebie and felt like my future visits to a different therapist could be compromised if I didn’t properly tip. The location itself is fantastic but just know who you’re getting and if they are recommended by others.

I have been a member for over a year now and love coming to Massage Envy! The staff is very friendly and inviting, the facility is clean and I believe it was just updated. My therapists always take the time to really listen to my concerns each visit, and customize my massage to my needs. Great quality, and wonderful price!!

Its needs to be NEG STARS! Its a one star because I had to select something for it to post. I like the people that work here but the corporate structure I hate, Corp provides perceived value to clients. There Corp policies are ticky tacky, for example I can only transfer 1 credit to my wife a year and they add transfer fee. I can go on and on. It unfortunately they have good people but because of the corp structure of Massage envy Will not return.

This place is BY FAR the Opposite of a relaxing and comfortable experience its supposed to be. Ive been going to Massage Envy for almost 1 year now , (locked into a contract) and its slowly declining in professionalism and class. There now is a new person to operate the front desk in the Frisco branch..he says his name is Jack. This is not the job for this guy. Totally lost and unprofessional. Interrupts while speaking to him, and has a sarcastic attitude as if he is mad at the world.....at ..a ...massage parlor...wow......I had an appointment....he couldnt find it...played it off as if I didnt have an appointment set. Another employee had to warn me about him before I had to just leave and cancel my appointment because it was already a horrible experience. Definitely my favorite Massage Envy. Great team! Steven is an awesome and talented therapist. My aching shoulder felt tons better after he worked on it.

I haven’t experienced such a direct tension technique by far that competes with the experience I encountered. The massage was the perfect balance of pressure with a touch of a consistent soothing back flow technique to work out the kinks. My only mistake was only booking for 60 minutes instead of my normal 90 minutes. I won’t make that mistake again.

I go here about 2 times a month - you cant beat their prices if you want to get massages regularly and not break the bank. I always go to Cory and he is great - I normally get sports massages and I highly recommend him. Their front desk employee is never the same each time I visit, but they always seem to routinely make errors, have poor manners and terrible etiquette. I have had multiple appointments scheduled at the wrong time by them when they assured me when I booked what the time was. They are usually too busy talking, playing on their phones, or ordering food. While all of that is annoying, the masseuses here are wonderful. Plus, if you become a member they offer special promotions on certain days!

Tonight I was gifted My First Facial Ever in my 58 Years. KENYA AT THE FRISCO LOCATION GAVE ME STELLA SERVICE. I FELT LIKE A MULLION BUCKS WHEN I LEFT.THE RECEPTIONIST WAS EXTRA SPECIAL ALSO. I have been coming to this location since May and every time the girls are always very professional. Everything is spotless, sanitizer and masks available if you don’t bring your own. Definitely happy I signed up for the membership! Best $65 a month ever!

Horrible experience!I scheduled a 60 minutes massage for 5pm i was told to be 15 minutes before my appointment. I get there at exactly 4:45 PM Emily the receptionist was extremely rude and unpolite. She informed me that I was unable to do my 60 minute massage because my appointment was at 4:30. I told her that was incorrect and that my appointment was for 5 PM she said that I was scheduled incorrectly at 4:30. Instead of trying to make the situation right she made it worst. I am glad I didn’t sign up for the membership.

Best total body massage I’ve ever had. I keep going back. Cory is highly skilled and delivers his technique with kindness and intuition. He finds the problematic areas and works to resolve them!

I have been to this location 3 times and they have been very polite and helpful. The vibe is very relaxing. They ask you to wash your hands before your session. Everyone is wearing a mask which makes me feel better about coming in and getting a massage. Wish this location offered facials but maybe soon.

I have been having regular lower back pain. I went to get a massage specifically for this reason. While filling out the form, I mentioned this information requesting special attention to this area of my back. This was even discussed with me by the lady at the front and the masseuse. During the entire 50 minutes (not an hour) of the massage, I dont recall her even touching this area. If she did, she spent very little time there. Furthermore, the oil she was using felt more like a burning sensation rather than pleasant. She was coughing several times and breathing directly on me which made me feel like I may get sick from her. In all fairness, the masseuse used sufficient pressure which I requested. I left there feeling no better than when I came in. I have gotten regular massages elsewhere so I knew what to expect. This was a complete waste of money.

Very pleased with my first experience at Massage Envy. The therapist focused on exactly what I needed. Found the tension in my back and worked it out really well. Communicated just the right amount.

I booked 2 messages for my wife and I and everything seemed good as we were greeted nicely by Austin and we filled out paperwork as we were waiting for our message appointments my wife went in first and before I could get called in my wife comes back out and said we need to go. There was a cockroach crawling on the wall in the message room. This was unacceptable and we promptly went back up front and requested that we cancel both appointments which really sucked and ruined our day off.

MIGUEL IS AWFUL!!!!!! Stay far far away from him! I am a massage therapist licensed in 4 states. I have been coming to ME for 3 years and have NEVER had a problem with being very specific about what I need. I am aware that you get what you pay for, so I have never expected a lot from ME. That being said, I usually end up teaching the therapist a new trick and them thanking me. NOT THIS GUY! He was POPPING over my spine muscles, like this was what is supposed to happen! It was SO unsettling and hurt a little. When I politely tried to tell him this... he continued doing it. When I asked him to please move on... he said Im finishing what I was doing. Ummmmmm...didnt I just tell him he was hurting me???? I again asked him to please not horizontally pop over my erectors and that what he was doing was painful and he SNIFFED at me... like a teenager! At which point I abruptly ended the session. This guy is terrible, and he doesnt seem to want to listen to his clients-- or learn. Poor massage skills, poor listening skills and AWFUL customer service skills. This guy should be fired. Also of note, I didnt receive my customary email asking me about my massage... I will make sure the owner is aware of this.

Worst place I have ever been in my life. I left with a pinched nerve that she gave me in the shoulder when she was not massaging but grinding her fist into my shoulder, when I shot up cause it hurt so bad she blamed my back knots, which is ridiculous. I have had 100s of massages and got this as a gift card. Worst gift in the world. 90% rubbing lotion on your body and 10% grinding knuckles into areas that should not even been massaged. I can not believe I have to see my sports therapist because I got a massage. I should be able to bill my insurance claim to them since they did this. DO NOT GO HERE.

Amazing! Im from Ohio and came with my husband for work. I recently broke my back and had a traumatic fall a year ago so the flight was a little painful but Richard made everything literally melt away. He was firm got deep and relieved so much pain and relaxed me! I wish I could bring him back to Columbus lol Thank you for a great experience 🤟

This location is so inconsistent. I had initially gone to the one in Allen and had nothing but an amazing experience. The Stonebriar location has had high turn on therapists, scheduling errors and then last week no one ever called to reconfirm a two hour appt and when I talked to Nick he of course said it was my fault that maybe I changed my notifications. I have been a member for over 10 years and this is the worst location I have patronized by far. I had asked Nick to have the location Manager Bailey Williams to call me and I have yet to hear from her and it has been almost a week!

At first I loved this location, but then after having billing issues and the manager continuously cutting me off like I was an irate person just made me want to be done with them. Im finishing up my membership from which i have yet to utilise so unless you really plan on going on and making appointments frequently i would avoid the memberships. Best birthday present last year turned to one of the worst this year. Sucks because the actual staff was amazing.

I went in hoping for an overall message with a slight focus on chronic pain areas. But Karen, my therapist, spoke up and suggested that I focus just on the primary are and sources of pain because I was so locked up. I’m thankful that she spoke up, because I really needed it. She also gave me suggestions for things to do at home to help.

WELL HELL !!! Wife made appointments for us 40 days ago because it is impossible to get an appointment. Showed up 10 min early only to find out that one of the therapists is now on medical leave and no one else is available. What the hell happened to calling the customer to let them know their appointment was cancelled. This was a special day for our 30th wedding anniversary. So much for getting a massage. Unfortunately I pay for two people every month but can NEVER get in to use the services that I paid for. I feel like Im being stolen from every month. DISAPPOINTING!!!!

I have been attempting to reach a manager with no luck. I was asked to call back, then told the manager would be after 3p. I called the store after 3, and was told by the young man at the front, that they would call me at 530. At 7p, I call back and told they’ll call me when they call me. I assumed I was dealing with a professional establishment with responsible, professional people. I guess they’ll call me when they call me.

This was my Second time to Massage Envy and each time was so relaxing, Mariah was my therapist and she did an amazing job she hit places that I didn’t even know that bothered me. I will continue to visit this location as long as Mariah is there. Thank you so much.

Want out of the membership? Lose your credits. Having surgery with up to a 12 month recovery period and want to freeze your account? You can for a few months at a time, but then you have to pay up again before you can extend the freeze. Its quite ridiculous.
