Had a great massage with Austin, very professional, almost like running a script. Very relaxing. The upselling at the front desk was really intense, I know they have to do it, Im sure there is pressure to get clients signed up as members, but it honestly ruined the relaxation experience. I want to leave floating on the cloud I was on, and I got ripped down to earth by being pushed to purchase something I am not interested in. However the girls in the front are great at it, just didnt love maneuvering that conversation when Im trying to remain relaxed.Very much a massage envy experience

I was so pleased that I was able to get a same day appointment. Jovi really took the time to explain things to help me and I am already looking forward to my next session. Thank you for making it such a great experience from the time I walked in until the time I left.

Kierra started my questionnaire for my session 11 minutes late and then I waited approximately 5 more minutes on the table. She stopped my session at exactly 5:00. I did not get a full one hour massage. She had good technique but I expected a full body massage after our talk yet she only massaged my back and arms with the requested aroma therapy. She did a bit of massage on my glutes and legs but through the sheet and blanket. I was face down the entire time. It was not what I have experienced before nor what I expected. I did not get what I paid for.

I just got a facial done today here by Ashley!! She is so sweet very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend getting A facial done by her. He will leave here feeling amazing and Your skin looking so beautiful!

I have been going to massage envy since day 1 and i love how they keep up with all the latest treatments. Highland is always clean, welcoming and once you check in, i can truly relax in their beautiful room as i wait for my therapist. I found the best therapist and i keep her booked weekly.

As a member of 4 years, Im disappointed with the rigid inflexibility of rules for those of us who kept making monthly payments during Covid. I have 20 sessions built up but cant bring guests to help me use them up more often than every 3 months. Cant suspend membership (stop accumulating) and still use sessions Ive already paid for at the same time. Rules change without notification, so I am surprised when l call to reserve a session. Very unhappy camper with management, but I love the sessions when I can use them.

I would highly recommend Kim - especially if your muscles need some deep work! Shes super nice and I like the fact that she provides feedback of what she is feeling in certain areas during the massage.

Kate at this Massage Envy location is amazing! I was having lower back/hip pain and she massaged it out! I left there feeling so much better! This was my 2nd time seeing her. I will for sure be back to see her again!

Grossly disappointing. 90 min massage, started 15 min late and ended 10 min early, making it a 65 min massage. The massage therapist Jovi I think is a good masseuse , but she didn’t touch my feet. She did not even do my arms. I am so not happy with this place. It is unbelievable. It is actually the worst experience I’ve had - and so much so I will be canceling my membership.

Amanda is so accommodating. She is excellent at her work and I highly recommend her. I am making weekly appointments again at Massaage Envy because of her.

I decided to switch massage therapist from Kim to someone else and I’m so glad I did I realized Kim didn’t care about me as a client and became cold toward me. For someone that is so hard to get into I would say that she is over hyped at that location .

The massage itself was good. But she didnt really work on any part of my face/head/scalp area. The front desk lady was on the rude side and pushy. She basically got an attitude with me when I said I didnt want to sign up for a membership.

I have received massages for many years, I have to say this was the worst experience all the way around. It seems like they are in the business solely for financial gain could care less about comfort or making sure to good job. The massage was not relaxing whatsoever the therapist didnt even do the full hour. Everyone there seemed to be lacking energy or personality. Very disappointing!

This was my second visit with Austin, he was great. He was attentive to areas that I mentioned were sensitive. I have arthritis in my hips but I wanted a full head to toe massage. He moved my hips in a stretch that felt amazing. I was very pleased and relaxed when I walked out. I recommend him to anyone.

Kierra was absolutely amazing. Of all the massages I’ve had in my lifetime this was easily the best one I’ve ever experienced. The pressure was perfect, Kierra really focused on all my problem areas, and I left feeling more relaxed than I ever have. She also just has the most relaxing aura about her! I did a stretch session with Steve. I loved it. I went directly to an hour massage with Emma. I loved that, as well. In both experiences the atmosphere was pleasant, relaxing and soothing.

Great service. Had back and neck pain. Both were addressed and the pain was mitigated.

Front desk is very rude, stuck up and constantly on their phones. After service they rush you out of the building and will argue with you.

I’m a little disappointed with Massage Envy now-a-days! I feel like they’ll literally hire anyone that says they’re a “massage therapist”. I’ve been a member for 3 years now and have never been as disappointed as I have been the last three massages. First they start 10 min late and end 10 min early. Out of an hour massage your really only getting 40 min. And the last two techs have talked literally the whole time. Even if you don’t respond. 😫. Sad… I don’t know what’s been going on lately!

I have had a membership with massage envy for over 12 years and have never been as happy as I am with Emma , I will not use another massage therapist as long as she is around !! She’s amazing

Chloe is an exceptional aesthetician. She is very thorough with skin care recommendations that are tailored to your own skin. The whole facial was calming and my skin was glowing when I walked out of Massage Envy.

I received a gift certificate for a massage after having my son, enjoyed it, and signed up for the membership. It’s very sketchy that you’re locked into it for a full year, especially when they don’t have time slots that fit your personal schedule EVER! They expect you to work your personal schedule around theirs which is unacceptable and not customer friendly. Also, the cancellation process after a year of NOT being able to utilize the membership is ridiculous as you have to complete a form and email it to them, then wait 10 days for the cancellation to be processed. And instead of refunding you the money for the months you weren’t able to get a massage, you’re told you can use those sessions within 60 days, otherwise you’re SOL and out of your money. Again, all while none of the available times work with your schedule. I’m a working Mom with very little free time, so it’s very disappointing that I’m stuck with something I can’t use because my schedule never aligns with this company’s.DO NOT get the membership unless you’re a stay-at-home girlfriend or wife with no kids or responsibilities as it is money down the drain.Thank you, but no thank you! What a rip off!

I have been going to Massage Envy for many years and many different locations. Steve by far is the most exceptional therapist!! Literally was the best massage Ive ever had!! I would highly recommend this location & Steve!!!

I will give 5 for th aesthetics, but 2 for the masseus, why? 2 for the maaaeu he was good, however he announces to me he wanted to use the Thera gun for the first 15 minutes (did not advise it was extra $10) but it made it sound like he didn’t really want to massage me with his hands for the two hours to work the knots out. So I agreed to the gun. So yeah I wasn’t to happy about my first two hours of service and to find out 3.5 hours later that my service was not completely paid for because of the extra he chose to add in.

Everyone here was so kind and inviting. Jovi was AMAZING, I’m pretty sure my body has been factory reset after that massage. Will definitely be going back to see them in the future!

I was in a good amount of neck pain from working from home and Emma did a great job at easing the ache and helping me relax. I unfortunately don’t have $$ for a monthly membership but whenever I do need a pick me up I’ll be sure to schedule with her!

Kim is very knowledgeable and is able to relieve pain. I have significant lumbar spine issues. Kim is able to loosen the tight muscles that are causing my discomfort.

Overall, I am so pleased with my experience.

I received a gift card with a coupon from a friend. The gift card was accepted but the coupon ended up being worthless and since this is a franchise and my cards were purchased from a different location, nothing could be done. In the end I received an overpriced mediocre massage and had to pay even more because of the coupon rip-off. You can trust me on the mediocre massage as I am a licensed massage therapist.

Terrible customer service experience. I have been canceled on 3 out of the last 4 times I have had a scheduled massages... I get call saying I have to have a credit card on file in case I CANCEL A MASSAGE. I explained the number of pre pays I have on my account and the situation. No understanding or critical thinking done by the rep, my appointment was then canceled by the company. Tone deaf behavior by a company which is increasingly harder to do business with as they raise prices and provide less service.

Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. Masseuse is skilled and knowledgable. Still feel great!

They have cancelled 6 appointments my wife and I have had for whatever reason. Will never buy a package again from here. When our 12 month package was up they wanted to charge us monthly for a membership fee to use up the rest of our time we had already paid for. We ended up losing 240 minutes of massages we paid for because they cancelled.

Crazy Mask Policy Enforcement is a huge turn off, would not come back to this place.I booked a 1-hour massage for my boyfriend and we were thoroughly unimpressed with the service here. The citys mask mandates have already been lifted and there was no signs on the window saying you had to wear a mask. My boyfriend walks in and was immediately asked (politely) by a front desk lady to put a face covering on, which he obliged. No more than a minute later, the second office lady rudely made a comment to him it goes over your nose.He was also required to wear a mask for the entire massage, something we have never experienced during this pandemic, with the our regular go-to massage place. In addition, he had to sign a piece of paper agreeing to wear a mask along with a large questionnaire related to Covid.We have never experienced this much harassment and overkill at a massage parlor for a simple massage, even during the pandemic. When businesses rudely enforce policies with harassment, it is a huge turn off to want to spend any money there. The massage was also almost double the cost of our regular place and not nearly up to par on the quality of the massage; even though the masseuse was very nice and chatty.We understand that businesses want to take precautions to make customers and their employees feel safe. But it should also be recognized that is every individuals right to choose to be out in public interacting with society, or staying in their home for their own safety. Ultimately, you should not be punished or harassed at this level for being a healthy person out in public, requesting your businesses services. To be forced to wear a mask and treated like a selfish human being for not wanting to do so, does not make customers eager to spend money with you and support your business. Would not return here again.

Had a much needed massage and my masseuse Lori was amazing. Best massage I’ve had in awhile she was very easy going and most of all knew her stuff. I didn’t ask her how long she had been doing it but I could tell she’s very experienced. I left feeling satisfied and wondered why I waited so long.lol

Went with my husband for a couples massage. I must say Autumn was amazing!! I loved every minute of my massage. Definitely would recommend her!!! She knows what shes doing! The two ladys in the front were really nice!

Desi/Dez I believe her name is, is absolutely amazing at her job! She made me feel so comfortable and talked me through everything (I hate being touched). She made sure the pressure was comfortable the whole time and even helped with home care self care. The front staff was also super welcoming and very professional

My husband and I have been members and getting massages at the Gilbert location for several years with no issues. In the past several months we have had 7 cancellations at this location. 7!!!! We book a month out and then get cancelled day before or same day. We will be finding a new Massage Envy to frequent.

I like the business model of Massage Envy. It forces me to do what I know I need to do anyway, which is to get a massage at least once a month. Then if I have a problem like I recently have had with my back being out of adjustment and needing a massage prior to seeing a chiropractor, then that additional 1 hour massage only costs me $40.The $59 a month isnt bad and they have a lot of different massage therapists and types of massages.I personally prefer deep tissue massages and I had to try a few of the therapists out to find the one I liked the best.I have never had a bad massage here. Some are better than others, but that is just the nature of the service industry.

The stars are for the front desk receptionists- very friendly and welcoming. The remaining stars are off regarding the massage experience. Firstly, not starting on time and ending early. Hesistation during some of the massage maneuvers, as if the therapist was questioning their technique. Lastly, the feeling of being rushed out at the end. Ive definitely had better massage experiences.

One of my best visits and really helped my pain level

One of the better Massage Envys that I have been to. The only issue I have is the location. Parking can be a nightmare especially if you like to show up a little bit early to make sure you are relaxed. Glenn is a great therapist. I have been using him for a while now. I recommend you get an hour and a half every-time. Its hard to work the entire body in 60 minutes.

Excellent , gentle, explained the entire process, etc. Very professional and knowledgeable. Im sure all the staff is great but Maggie is someone you would be happy with having do your treatment. I like to have a facial done about once year or so and this place did not disappoint. Looking forward to the next one! thanks again to Maggie and all the staff. 👍🏻

Steven was great even though it was the latest appointment available he still put a lot of effort into getting everything right and working with me to solve some trouble areas that I had been dealing with.

I went to Massage Envy the first time because I had a huge knot in my right shoulder. My chiropractor said a massage might help and my previous therapist was no where to be found. So on my first visit, I was greeted politely, scheduled with a nice massage therapist and got my massage. The therapist was great. When I went to check out and pay, the receptionist told me the cost was $70 unless I got a membership, which then it went down to $40. She duped me into the contract not knowing I had to keep it for one year. One week later I found out about a lawsuit involving Massage Envy (please read the lawsuit for explanation). I had 3 massages after this and each time I walked out of Massage Envy with bruises. Even after telling the massage therapist I only wanted a light message. While she was giving me a message I told her it hurt too and she stated It hurts because your muscles are so tight HA! Not on my rib cage they arent! So THREE times I walked out with bruises! I was extremely unhappy and not willing to go through that again.I knew I was going to have trouble getting out the contract, found I no longer had time to squeeze in a massage and met someone who was willing to endorse me to go to massage school. I wrote an intent to cancel letter in August 2015 and signed it in front of the receptionist, and explained my situation. She said she would have the manager call me. When the manager finally called, 3 weeks later, she said she was checking in on me. Nothing else. I was charged again ($59.99 per month) in September 2015 and when I called they said they didnt have anything on file and she would need to call her manager. When the receptionist called me back 2 hours later, she said my membership had been canceled, I WOULD NOT be able to use the remaining 6 massages I had already paid for because I was not at the end of my contract (see lawsuit) and she could not refund the $59.99 I was just charged.In closing, if you want a decent massage therapist... keep looking! Do NOT go to Massage Envy! A really good massage therapist does NOT need a contract to get clients. Ive learned my lesson and am writing this in the hopes you dont have to experience what I did!

I have been getting massages for years and I have never come out of a massage worse or with an injury until now. I asked for deep tissue massage, but the way that it was done was not careful. Now my whole right arm, especially hand has burning and numbness that has lasted until the next day. It felt like my arm might have been particularly dislocated, honestly it was like taking a beating. Now Im wondering if I need an x-ray and if I should go to urgent care. Do not come here, go somewhere more professional.Update: its been 5 months and I am finally ready to try getting a massage somewhere else, my arm STILL isnt back to 100%

Megan does my facials and she is the absolute best! Doesn’t skimp on any products, makes the best recommendations and listens to any issue I have. I’ve had facials for years and she is hands down, the most professional and expert level I’ve had.

Im new to the area Ive had a membership with massage envy for 2 years. I booked a massage for myself and my sister who was visiting from Denver and 1 hour before our appointment time get a call that they have to cancel my massage. Will not attempt to use this location ever again.

Um, well. Im not the biggest of fan. Felt like there should have been more of a relaxing experience instead of getting elbows jammed in my muscles and missing the spots that really matter. Staff was awesome. Just not impressed with the masseuses.

I have dealt with several years of pain and couldn’t find relief. Went here and I felt 5x lighter. Was even able to sleep better. Looking to relax or relief stress/pain? I’d highly recommend going here to do so.

Appt for 4:00 sat in waiting room until 4:16 then went to front desk.....Girl went to find the therapist.....after 5 minutes found them.....While they were looking called another massage envy about 10 minutes away and told them what was happening--luckily they were able to get me in.....Been a member for years and this is definitely a first

My massage was very relaxing and the representative was very respectful and kind.

Inexperienced, rude, require a dr note to have a massage. I have a lot of built up credits that I can not use because I don’t have a dr note per their new policy

Cancelled my appointment twice - both times when I arrived for said appointments. Bad customer service with no early notification or going above and beyond to make up for erroring... twice.

This is a good location, its larger than the one at signal Butte and less busy so its much easier to get into an appointment without scheduling a month in advance
